Bolas was still pretty based though, sure he is no Yawgmoth, but he has potential for a redemption arc which adds alot more depth to his character than just being the big bad.
>>85022707It's a pity he had that stroke. Tim Curry would have made a great Yawgmothhttps://youtu.be/pVzYS3Ga_j8
>>85022727the only thing yawgmoth did wrong was making his machines scary-looking. he was right about everything, we have to abandon the weak flesh and embrace metallic perfection

>>85022715>the list is very long, but he kidnapped children with talent to make them child soldiers, fucked the entire Serra's Realm by luring phyrexians there because he didn't want to fight, created horrible machines that were phyrexian level in his effort to beat phyrexia, nuked two entire continents killing everyone in them and plunging the world into an ice age because he was butthurt and at the end of the day even having done all this shit in the name of beating phyrexia he instantly gave up when confronted with yawgmoth and gerrard had to decapitate him and actually save the daysounds like a cool guy if you ask me>>85022727Bolas is the opposite of coolhe might as well be a one-off avengers villain
>>85022751Bolas is cool because he enjoys raping women

>>85022833yeah uh that thing sucks bro
>>85022748>looks at price of deckgoddamn it sucks to be a poorfag trying to play commander.
>>85022727Bolas is a bitch. Got beaned by a regular human with a uncommon card as his trump card and other than that, he could be a Scooby Doo villain.
>>85022833It's a shame that it states "green", since it would be an auto include in Volrath otherwise. Nothing is as fun as having a 7/5 Cephalid Constable in the zone
>>85022833Yup, it's bad. Could be alright in a go-wide deck (like Saprolings) with a few cards to untap lands, but still not great. It's better in a 60card Saproling deck with loads of ramp where you can comfortably tap multiple copies of Oran-Rief every time a few tokens enter. In EDH, it's rarely useful. I still have it in my mono-green +1 counter deck because I use cards I like, even if they are bad.
>>85022727Bolas would've been cooler if he actually won at Ravnica. But then I guess they'd try to copy Avengers: End Game which would probably be even worse
>>85022932It's okay they'll try that with the phyrexians.
>>85022845My stance is proxy or die poorboy. Its only p2w if you cant defend your self.
>>85022727Bolas was cool when he was a nebulous, inscrutable chessmaster who would be referenced every now and then as having a stake in this world or that, for reasons to be explained later. Before and during the point where WOTC had a defined narrative for what he was really up to, it was cool being reminded that while all these happenings are going on in each plane, a greater force was working behind the scenes toward a grand scheme, and that we were watching it slowly, inevitably unfold. For me, I think it was about the time that Bolas and Ugin became brothers that his aura began to wane, and then they crashed and burned upon landing at WAR. Roughly a decade's worth of off and on buildup wasted, longer if you consider the start to be The Mending and not Alara Block like I am. We'll see him again, I just don't think I'll care when we do.
>>85022932>Bolas would've been cooler if he actually won at Ravnica.Yes, but that would mean sacrificing one of the most popular settings in the game. WOTC would never.
These days, people would probably prefer to see Mana Confluence, but it's still a great reprint.
>>85023004>one of the most popular settings in the gameIs it? All the MTG players I know of are tired of it.
>>85023028Ravnica and Innistrad are probably neck and neck as the most popular. At least with the normies.
>>85023034just more impetus to port boomer Jund to EDH
>>85023020While I suppose tapping down City of Brass can be a counterplay that also deals damage to its owner, the 1 damage can be prevented. Other than idk Font of Agonies, there isn't a payoff for paying life, so I see Mana Confluence as worse than City of Brass. Also, Angel of Jubilation and Yasharn can prevent a player from using Mana Confluence.

How do I graduate from being a timmy? All my friends are either johnnys or spikes and I'm kind of tired of losing, but I don't really know how to build commander decks on my own and I don't really like using commanders that don't have any relevance to the deck at all like tatiyova or that selesnya whore that just draws cards when you play enchantments
>>85023789Maybe not that one in particular, but what about in general?
>>85023805build a better deck simple as
>>85023787Every turn felt like I could either play something good or play an overcosted do-nothing enchantment that would generally die before my next turn. The commander himself faces the same issue, 5 mana removal magnet that need's haste, extra mana, and a spare permanent to sacrifice. Most enchantment payoffs in Esper tend to be irrelevant life drain effects (Grim Guardian, Underworld Coinsmith) or token generation (Ajani's Chosen, Alela). Without the card draw snowballing that green enchantress decks have, my hand ends up empty with nothing to show for it but a couple 2/2s and some stax pieces that only mildly annoy. Maybe I'm just building the deck wrong.
>>85023805You are a timmy. You want the biggest dick on the block. There are two paths to do this ->Cast a spell of embiggen your dickThis works well but can easily be stifledThe trick is the second path>Cast a spell of ensmall their dickThere's lots of big splashy shit that's either difficult to interact with or can put a lot of pressure on opponents to keep up. GB value engines, Zurgo wrath tribal, GU stompy with permission spells, etc. The trick is to remember that you only need one wincon at a time, so once that wincon is online you need pieces to protect it and clear a path rather than things that work in parallel to it. Deckbuilding is a skill, and the only way to get better at it is to try shit and see what happens. When you win, what cards did you not end up needing or casting? When you lose, what resource did you run out of first? Were there cards in your hand that you felt didn't help at all? Why? Thinking like that can help inform inclusions and cuts beyond cards that 'can' win. Any card 'can' win, so you need to focus and winnow it down.
>>85023790its the boring cost I have to accept to play such a shitty legendm if there were another way to make enough mana to unearth everything and have them not be exiled from unearth I would gladly swap it out
>>85023845you sicken me
>>85023838>play an overcosted do-nothing enchantment that would generally die before my next turnThen don't run those enchantments. Only run reasonably costed enchantments that do something you want them to>Most enchantment payoffs in Esper tend to be irrelevant life drain effects (Grim Guardian, Underworld Coinsmith) or token generation (Ajani's Chosen, Alela).Other than, you know, Serra's Sanctum, Opalescence, Sphere of Safety, and all the rest, of course. And your commander already gives you a way to extract additional value from enchantments--and, notably, the creature tokens you were just complaining about. Hell, a Grave Pact on the board with Ertai and Hallowed Haunting means that every enchantment spell you cast gives you growing body that can be sacrificed to edict your opponents and counter a spell. That's ridiculous! Add Intruder Alarm to untap Ertai whenever a creature enters the field and your opponents should have trouble maintaining a board state at all.>Without the card draw snowballing that green enchantress decks have, my hand ends up empty Christ alive, man, you're in BLUE. You can just run good card draw spells.>Maybe I'm just building the deck wrong. That much is obvious

>>85023914Daxos sounds like fun, m8. Valduk is an explosive budget general.

>>85023914Tasigur is a good cheap commanderGood removal, good draw, and is in combo colorsMuldroth is good too for getting values, extends your hand into the graveyard, and is also can protect himself very easily. Azusa's pretty good with a very streamlined tribal/control deck with a combo kill.Lastly, I'd say sivriss and whatever background you want. Svriss is a value engine and you can gear it towards whatever you want, like aristocrats, tokens, artifacts, etc. These are all for going budget, having a chance at good pods, as well as room for improvement

>>85023656If you're not aggro then why are you struggling with a fog effect?
if you only have a lightning bolt in your graveyard do you just win?
>>85024070explain how you think this card works anon
>>85024085not him but as long as it doesn't get blinked or removed, as long as it has a bolt under it you can keep casting bolt as long as you cast something right?
>>85024095You can cast the exiled bolt once per turn, bombardment only triggers on first spells.
>>85024101oh jesus that text is just one long block
>>85024085not him, but it looks like turn 1 with it active, you take a spell from the gy and exile it, then cast it as a copy. Next turn, you do the same thing with a different spell from the gy then cast...both exiled spells. Turn 3 you do the same thing and cast 3 exiled spells because they were all "exiled with Arcane Bombardment" but wtf do i know
Is Spelltable always full of vermin?
>>85024052Honestly, I think that the BW one is more powerful. I enjoy the evasion and the triggered ability UW one has, so I prefer him overall. Also, I only have one Serra's Sanctum with a solid home and I would probably want to minmax like a fag. I even gutted my Rafiq combat damage triggers deck for my Daxos and put most of the swords there as well as Cephalid Constable. It's a very janky deck and not very strong, but I enjoy it a lot. I've cut a ton of auras and instead have gone with equipment route.
>>85024095It sets of a "bombardment" sequentially of every card exiled under it the first time you cast a spell each turn.>cast bolt, trigger enchantment, no spells in graveno extra effect>cast opt, trigger enchantment, bolt in graveopt resolves, exiles bolt, then casts free bolt>cast ponder, trigger enchantment, opt in graveponder resolves, exiles opt, cast free opt then boltand so on. >>85024606Compared to most shoehorned in Japanese stuff, Kamigawa was far more authentic. How the fuck do I mulligan in EDH? I keep getting different answers from different sites. I'm going insane. Please lay it out to me. Is it not the standard London mulligan? Someone in my pod was saying I get to scry afterwards. I was amazed when I couldn't find an answer on my phone.
>>85024982Haha just rule0 broski just talk it out with your playgroup pham
>>85024990I really can't find it. It's not even on the main wizards site. it's not on the mtgcommander site. The wiki only talks about london and partial pairs. What is this about scrying the amount of times you mulligan?
>>85024982Draw 7 each time and put cards on the bottom until you have the correct number. You get a free mulligan if it's not a duel.
>>85025009Okay, cool. I don't know what this guy was on about with scrying. But I couldn't find a direct answer on it so I just let whatever go. I really don't want to call a judge in a casual game and ask "how do I mullian?"
>>85025032Scrying is the old rule. Originally in 60 card formats you just drew a new random hand of X cards, then they added scry to make mulligans less punishing. Then they went to draw seven and return cards. EDH on the other hand used to use the partial Paris mulligan, where you could send back specific cards, but this made decks too consistent especially with low land counts so they changed it to the standard mulligan.
>>85025053Yeah I started playing commander when the precons hit in 2014 or so. That's when we had partials. But I do remember when it went to london a few years ago. I just haven't played in 3 years and really needed a refresher. And I'm glad I can tell that dude he's wrong.

>>85025609Cards have a number in the bottom left corner.Cards in a set are ordered by color and then alphabetically.Oracle of Mul Daya is a mono green card revealed to be number 154Rampant Growth is a mono green card revealed to be number 155.That means that there are definitely no mono green cards beginning with P or Q
>>85025631Oracle of Mul Daya is in this? Aw sheet, it really is!
was nicky crunched out?
>>85025757>hate this art>dat booba tho
>>85025631>Reprucussions crunched out.RIP
>>85025776Almost as if someone took the image and made some edits.
>>85025830lol I didn't even see the edit looking at the thumbnail. It has notable booba for WotC even in the unedited version.
>>85025757holy based booba editdoing the Lord's work
>>85025758That Nicky yes.
>>85025887NOOOOOOOO WHY
>Me? Why yes I play Intet chaos control. What gave it away?
Not really a good rare, but at least also not total garbage.
>>85025975Because the set doesn't have DFCs
>>85026131>single print edh only barely playable rareit is total garbage and will hit $0.59c really fast
>>85026155It's still leagues above the lieges and other rares. The fact that it can even drop in price puts it above others. Part of that is also because it hasn't been reprinted yet.
>>85023074>I can finally get one now that it's getting reprinted
>>85024399You need a Goblin Assassin on your list, stat
Why are people on Spelltable pretty consistently awful to play with?
>>85026331Because people who play EDH are pretty consistently awful to play with
>>85022727Bolas redemption arc would make him incredibly uncool, Anon. A digbag nazi dragon with a holier-than-thou attitude is his ENTIRE appeal
>>85023004I think it would show progression in the plane and there could be new ideas pushed out from a plane that got beaten into submission by Nico Bolas.Wizards already made ANOTHER fucking big city plane already even without going back to Ravnica
>>85022751>muh AvengersAs someone who didn't jump on the Marvel hate-boner bandwagon only when it was in vogue, and actually HASN'T seen any of those queer movies past the first Avengers film, why does everyone always draw this parallel? And even if it might be true, why is Bolas mimicking pop culture bad, but Yawgmoth get a pass despite being a much more aggregious example of that very critisism?
>>85026386Ravnica should have had the Guilds join forces and become the new Shard setting. They even sort of hinted toward that during WAR as well.
>>85026551Generally it's that the Gatewatch thing, a collection of "heroes" coming together for a certain cause, was being pushed around the same time as the MCU was doing its strides, with the gatewatch story kinda ending in this big event, like infinity war, with War of the Spark.
>>85026185After selling the product they will ban it.
>>85022672that's not a question, retard
>>85026572"It took the collected efforts of every leading character, multiple betrayals, AND the death of a few key characters to achieve," isn't the jobber status a lot of people want to make it seem. Plot armor convenience and lazy writing beat Bolas more than anything that actually happened in WAR, and that's not exactly Bolas' fault.
>>85023074Waiting for the day they print card like this.
>>85026663Either that or that player losing life would also be cool.
>>85026663There's this, I guess
>>85024371If I were "an artist" I would draw something like this and the let SUMMER bloom in the view.
>>85026663>An opponent>Not a playerGay
just come some new cards in the mail
>>85024130are you aware of the embedded files in your gif?
>>85022727>redemption arcFuck you no.>>85022978The only problem in WAR is that he didn't win. I wanted him to win and BTFO everyone. I don't care if he got Thanos'd later by the Jacetice league. I really miss multi-set blocks ot tell narrative though, it makes everything so fucking flat story-wise.
>>85026843we now post more underrated cards to fuck with treasurefags
>>85024982They've changed it several times. For a long-ass time it was partial paris(take a few cards, put them aside. Draw that many, shuffle the rest back in) but it was abused so now most people do 1 free then draw 6 or something.
>>85023191>>>85023191>sweet drems sleep tight smol Elenda
>>85027098first mulligan is free, from then on you will always draw 7 and tuck the numbers of times you mulligan
>>85027091I tried peddling pic related months ago, and people just called me an investorfag.
>>85022672>Tqcombo, living death, or getting out mycosynth lock and swinging for game with an 8/8 trample that I can cast without activating abilities.Hidden tech is stealing a thoracle with agent and then decking myself with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Can also just swing for game if playing against decks that durdle/can't deal with an 8/8 trample early. Against stuff the deck does badly against I always try a few mulligans to see if I can get winter orb/contamination (or a tutor) to force the game to a crawl.>>85023422You have clearly never seen my mycosynth hogaak deck. It needs a lot of work but it's getting there. 2x2 reprints going to give me the meth I need to go even faster>>85023510rec sage and artifact/enchantment removal usually deal with grave hate pretty well and some also give you a creature to convoke.Deck is really powerful if you can consistently get hogaak out turn 2 and start focusing down a player with commander damage. Berserk just got a secret lair so hopefully the price drops. It helps with this exponentially and doubles as removal in a pinch - I still need to get one for this deck
>>85026843This card is based and becomes more relevant every day
>>85027027That's a very nice picture you have there, anon.
>>85027270So full disclosure, Im accepting the risk because Im going to be playing the deck with newer players a lot. Most of my disappointment with patriarch has been the way it just wins off of sac outlet + reanimate almost any of the devotion to black. Patriarch himself is being rebuilt into Burakos BW to keep my janky clerics and wizards in a playable deck while the good parts are combining with the good parts of a BUG deck to make Hogaak. I call it middle power but my shop is largely made of players who started in the last year so nobody runs any real grave hate and games all go to turn 20 if none of the workers are playing the ardenn deck the store lends out
>>85027431>games all go to turn 20painHogaak is really good in low power groups at least.
>>85027367thalia is so pure
>>85026551I’m not an expert on marvel stories or magic lore Bolas has a very uninspired design and very generic character. “Le ebil dragon”, “but he’s basically a human because of how he’s depicted and how he acts”just very boring and gay; what is his goal, world domination?even the color palette of the picture you posted is reminiscent of the washed-out digital cinematography that they use for those movies>why is bolas mimicking pop culture badDo you prefer mimicry to something novel or even the least bit intriguing?>Yawgmoth gets a passhow was yawgmoth mimicking contemporary pop culture of that time
good morning /EDH/ it's time for your morning spoiler dump.Starting off strong today
>>85027493I know right. I too am enjoying these completely very pure images of Thalia.
Another RKF piece
>>85027549What's with RKF and those colorful smudges? His older art was so cooler. Big fan of Dakkon.
>>85027573That’s kind of always been his thing. The card prints for Legends were just hugely desaturated for some reason, more or less across the board.
>>85027621
Memnarch checking in. If you want to win make lots of mana and steal the board. Combos I use:Grim monolith + Power Artifact Palinchron + High Tide Pili-pala + Grand Architect (i don't run this anymore)Usually I just use a tutor effect to find one of my other pieces or Ballista/Staff of Domination to finish it out. Muddle the Mixture is the best tutor to get the Grim/power combo since they're both 2 with the transmute effect. Also mycosynth lattice + karn lockout/mana color fixing. The rest of the deck doesn't matter when you win with the big boy -Memnarch. See you all next thread
>>85027516Evil dragon's are based as fuck, especially ones that rule an ancient Egyptian plane of existence and creates an army of worshipping cultists that submit themselves to eternal servitude via lazotep coating. His goal is to get back his full power as a Planeswalker pre-mending, because Bolas is only a fraction of what he once was, and is obsessed with power due to being the runt of the Elder Dragons (since him and Ugin were born twins, causing them to be the runts of the litter). Not saying it's great writing, but it is fairly unique once you get past the surface level cliches.Yawgmoth, and the Phyrexians in general, are quite literally Borg/X-files ripoffs, and is the same machine hivemind gimmick that was worn out even by the late 90's.
>>85027516Old Phyrexia was literally just the Borg in fantasy.
>>85027476>painIts not so bad, its really let me brew some nonsense since I dont have to think about solid win conditions and being able to play by turn 2. Ive been trying to get a few of them into pauper as a gateway to other formats to try and get some of them seeing ways to play the game that isnt ramp for 5 turns and slam 6 drops into each other. one dove straight into legacy and sold his edh stuff to buy into tin fins
>>85027621>>85027629Still, comparet these with the new Elenda and Marchesa. The pallets are much more consistent and contour is much better.
>>85027706I'm not saying you're wrong (especially about contouring) but do keep in mind, we don't yet have the high quality card scans for 2X2 yet. His new pieces could clean up quite a bit. If anything, his style probably loses more than a cleaner one with a lot quality image.
>>85027637>>85027642megalomaniac with a horde of undead sounds pretty generic
>>85027637I've been binge watching the X-Files over the past few weeks and it's crazy how blatant the ideas got lifted for mtg. I can see in particular how the season 4 episode Tunguska molded the entire Phyrexian aesthetic.
>>85027642>>85027762You fags sound like those "lIoN kInG rIpPeD oFf kImBa" sensationalists.>>85027633>t. Just woke up from 2012
>>85027686>ways to play the game that isnt ramp for 5 turns and slam 6 drops into each other.A lot of my friends still build decks like this despite the fact we've all been playing for like 6 years now. Worst thing is a few of them have spent a lot of money to double down on the hyper-durdle control meta that has accumulated over time. All but one of my decks are either win-fast or stax which has been absolutely dumpstering on the group lately since I've been fine-tuning them over the past month. A few of my decks (namely hogaak and a bladewing deck) can shit out a win turn 2-3 with the right hand or are just built to thrive in the durdle. Bladewing used to be an even better rakdos reanimator/combo list with Rograhk and Tevesh Szat but my playgroup bitched about it so much. Still exactly the same deck but with dragons and a less optimal commander.Recently convinced my friend who mostly plays budget to start building actually good decks that are designed to win fast and it has really shaken things up for the better. Like you I've also been trying (with little success) to get my group into pauper. Seems like one of the better ways to force them into getting better at deckbuilding/playing.
>Double niggers presaling for a little under $400Never thought I'd see the day when a set with double digit reprints is MASSIVELY overpriced considering all the $1 rare/mythics they put in to water things down. Maybe they'll finally learn if this thing crashes down to $200
>>85027893set sucks unless you're buying singles, hopefully after this and the baulders gate flop consoomers will learn their lesson
>>85027893>Maybe they'll finally learn if this thing crashes down to $200It won't. Too many whales will open boxes thinking that they're going to make bank pulling three Docksides. It'll sell well because paypigs are bad with money. We won't see the wallet fatique until later.
>>85027893Rudy says that there's barely any actual supply, so most likely it goes to the moon and fails to make any real impact in the singles market, making players pissed for years to come. Wizards is content to let a huge amount of staples stay as high as most people make in a day of work.
>>85027951>Rudy saysHe's going to say whatever benefits him.
>>85027874Ive been trying because we had a surge of interest in building cEDH a month or two ago after a year of playing literally nothing but draft and edh. Pauper is just the gateway drug, Id like to see them trying pioneer or proxying legacy decks or something. Its all young men 15-23 so theres a competitive spirit in there that isnt being met with edh durdlefests, Im just trying to pull it out of them and let it flourish in other formatsI actually have a pile of budget lists ($150 and under) I originally made for the shop to put some power in the meta on a budget but most of them didnt take
>>85024168Fling those little shits!
>>85024371It is the worst version of the art, if for no other reason than a human shouldn't be the focus of a Summer Bloom.
>>85024651>Part of the reason that it was so unpopular was because it was very in depth when most people just wanted a low effort coat of paint and ninjas like everything else.Exactly this. The dumb casuals wanted to see notNaruto and notBattousai and WotC essentially said "No, you deserve better" and created an interesting world with it's own lore and settings that was merely influenced by JapanAnd then for NEO Kamigawa they said "fuck it, we've been pandering to the LCD for over a decade now, let's keep going" and you got notAfro Samurai
>>85024534I'm of the opinion that Eldraine has more or less replaced it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a bunch of one-off callback cards every now and then.
LOOK HOW THEY RUINED BLOODBRAID ELF AHAHAHAHAHAH
>>85024982I've always played unlimited mulligans, within reason. If you're sitting there reloading your hand more than three or four times, you're probably fishing for a god hand and definitely trying my patience.
>>85024408The level of irony here is so thick that you can slice it with a knife.
>>85028111We briefly tried "free mulligans if you have 1 or less land" at that shop but within a week we had people dropping to 25 lands
>>85028109she's cute
Whatever happened to the anon that was trying to build an anti-dragon deck? Did he kill himself adter losing to Tiamat or something?
>>85026046Post your list
>>85028109>DOUBLE NIGGER Masters 2022 (checkum)This fucking set...
>>85028143Building an entire edh deck around hating a single tribe without black isnt going to go very far, not many people are willing to drop money on esoteric shitposts
>>85028061I prefer the Portal version of the art but this one has flavor text from "Love Song of Night and Day" which is always a plus. Yes, it's a shame we rarely get landscapes in the art of nonland cards. I guess WotC feels we can't relate or appreciate to a piece without some figure in it. I don't think anyone ever liked Untamed Wilds for the little dude looking over the horizon because WE'RE supposed to be that little dude
>>85027091
>>85027091Me on the left realizing I just crop-dusted the entire office by farting right before leaving the bathroom
>>85027543I'm surprised they bothered to re-use Seb's original piece instead of commissioning something new for the regular version.
>>85028206he's still with them and redditors are seething
>>85028109My statement from last thread still stands: Argyle's Bloodbraid Elf is still untouchable
>>85028212Really? So Farewell wasn't the storybook ending we thought it was after all.
>>85028109I wonder how much they seethe over never being able to beat the original.
>>85028131>we had people dropping to 25 landsVictory at any cost, I guess.
>>85028109Yeah that definitely looks like an elf berserker and not at all like a model in a perfume ad.
>>85028259I’m going to level with you, anon: the original is honestly kind of shit.
>>85028169>Untamed Wilds, Giant Spider, Giant Spider>OVERRUNDamn I miss that game
>>85027951I doubt it, he's thinking it'll be like the last Double Masters, but A. That set was in pandemic height, there's not way distribution will be thay fucked upB. Every mythic in that set pretty much was a slam dunk so you'd pretty much make your money back. Not play the retarded coin flip game with the cards in this set.
>>85028278That's what I mean though, I wonder how much that bothers them.
>>85028278This is pretty forgettable and it's still better than the new one
>ugly negros for double the pricemiss me with that shit. Back to the printer with me
>>85028169>I guess WotC feels we can't relate or appreciate to a piece without some figure in it.Green is just so conducive to great landscape shots though.
>>85024534Why? They'd just pozz the fuck out of it.
>>85028309There are at least three things here that bother me, and none of them are the fact that he's black. You do you, though.
>>85028146BIG

>>85028372>anime>dragons nest>painted fingernails
>>85023210I thought Wizards wasn't allowed to use that one anymore because it's racist.
>>85028278It works for me. Soldiers at war tend to look like shit. If you show me a "berserker" who weaves body fluids into her hair and they look clean and unblemished, I'll call you an idiot. The fact that every new character looks like a cosplayer is part of what's killing magic's flavour.

It still boggles my mind that we get flavor text referencing the Song of All to this day.
>>85025312What of them those are dank cards
>>85026159The liege cycle getting a reprint was very good actually.
>>85028490Why is that weird? WotC is constantly mining old lore/mechanics for memberberries
>>85028533The lieges are just a precursor to the Return To Lorwyn set next year. Same reason for Oonas Prowler and Doran reprints.
>>85028559The timescale of it all, I suppose.
>>85027951I dont even get how Rudy could make a claim about the supply of 2XM when it's not out
>>85028564Nice headcanon. I might believe it if you can come up with a way to tie Lorwyn/Shadowmoor into the ongoing New Phyrexia angle though. Let's hear your pitch.
>>85028609He almost certainly has insiders.
>>85028131Why are EDH players such fucking faggots
>>85028143I am still here. The dexk list is pretty much complete its just whenever I wanna pull the trigger and actually buy the cards. It's brion stoutarm, hivis and rashida scalebane with lots of untap effects and other ways to steal creatures. Nothing special but it will do the job against ur dragon faggotry. I also have a wort raidmother deck in the works that seeks to ruin my friends fun cause they are all flying faggots and group suicide with hurricane and copying it
>>85028652Oh and it also has a few stax-like pieces that target fliers and big creatures. My dragon friend is a big gambler so I'm hoping I can strike a bet with him in the near future and get him to pay for his own demise
Is Elixer of Immortality as good as I think it is for mono black? I run a lot of symmetrical discard and some mill here and there and it can be hard to get back noncreatures that I want from the GY. With black tutors I can just fetch something from my deck after using elixer, and the lifegain helps soften the blow from all the life I lose doing Black things.
Trannies literally can't see why this art is good and modern MtG art is bad. They think we automatically hate it due to black people
>>85028671>>85028671>>85028671new
>>85028396True, there is a point where individuality is just nonsense
>>85028564This is what I'm hoping for and why I think its good. Lorwyn shadowmoor needs to be revisited after the tranny menace is put to rest though
>>85028668I only now noticed that she's got an absolute death grip on the birb. But yes, it's a good piece.
