Bushiroad vs BandaiWho's the better company in terms of handling TCGS?
>>85003179Tough choice considering how shit both companies are but I would probably say Bandai
>>85002926Saw some kids playing it once, but I don’t know much about it besides it was canceled and you build a deck based on faction flags?>>85002938Quick recycle seems good.
FaB doesn't have an "intervening if clause" the way MtG does.
>>84988457>just make them trash their entire handThis is assuming there is a clear path to the target server in the first place. More likely, there isn't, you were redirected once or twice, or you had to run a central before you could run it, since this is fucking Jinteki.Jinteki is the one corp capable of anything approaching total server lockdown, not because they'll Ice a server so much its inaccessible, but because they turn it into a maze where you have to take so many fucking detours and run again on the same place that eventually, you can't feasibly run anything in your given windows.>or run archivesAgain, this is Jinteki. If anything they probably want you to run Archives.
>>85004098I thought jinteki's traps stopped working when in archives. Did new cards change that or is my understanding of the game just very very out of date?
>>85004280There's some that do, some that don't (NBN card, but I didn't have one of the J ones saved) - I do forget which ones are legal atm, but they will say
>>85004341>no server is safe from traps>some ice will try to push you into certain servers that are guaranteed to contain trapswell that is mildly horrifying. now i don't want to play runner
>>85004280Most don't work in Archives because they'll have the condition "if the runner access this card while installed", which can't be satisfied in Archive, but some, like Shi.Kyu does.. NBN and Jinteki both have the mechanic, but the Nips have more dedicated defense for that server than any other Corp.
>>85002539That's mostly MTG-brain talking, I think. It's pretty intuitive especially when you consider her whole kit, in which the interaction between the two is clearly intentional. There's no such thing as intervening-if triggers that check both to trigger and on resolution in FAB, it's just a single check on resolution and the trigger exists regardless.
>>85004402There are multiple ways to mitigate damage. One of the very first thing you learn while playing is to never ever run anything Jinteki (or that you suspect may splash Jinteki) with less than 5 cards in hands.
About a month of waiting to see if this would actually arrive, and relieved that it actually did. Was just kind of wrapped in printer paper and put in the envelope so before opening it I was also worried they sent the wrong thing since it didn’t feel right.
>>85005662Wooo zero effort Osa for At and some utility for Tawil (even if she’s still crap). Should be fun to play with if nothing else.
>>85005662this seems stupid good. At center is strong then?
>>85004098>>85004038>>85004264>>85004341>>85004402running archives in standard (and especially in startup) is pretty safe because the two most notorious archive traps are gone - Shock rotated, and Breached Dome is on the ban list. There are still some that work, and some non-ambush exceptions you need to watch out for like Stings in J:PE. but the overwhelming majority are of two types: the real dangerous ones that trigger only when installed like Urtica Cypher and Cerebral Overwriter. and the trigger-from-anywhere ones like Snare! that normally have some other limitation.
A few Duel Masters (limited to cards that only go as far Evolution) questions because I'm retarded, I think:>Is there a max hand size?>You can only add 1 mana per turn, right? This means the first couple of turns are just spent putting down a card into mana zone and ending your turn? I just thought this was weird
>>85006609no, yes
>>85004402>>85004638It's interesting, there's actually not that many ways to mitigate damage, and those that exist are pretty niche (or shortly due for rotation, like I've Had Worse and Sports Hopper). you really just have to soak it up and avoid it when you can. Draw events can be pretty clutch for that, as they let you overdraw before hitting a source of damage.

Another Duel Masters question: if my creature that says it can attack untapped creatures picks a fight with an untapped creature it can't win against, does the enemy creature at least get tapped in the battle or do I just destroy my creature for no good reason?

>>85010902Like with pokemon, I refuse to acknowledge anything besides the first bunch of English boosters. I'm getting too old for this shit...
>>85010780Wixoss used to have a lot of interesting alternative frames as secrets and promos.
>>85010941Posted that Wix card mindlessly because it was red and I was honestly curious what early red removal was like, not even thinking about how it was a DM crossover card. Hah!
>>85010960Coulda fooled me, I looked at how many types of cards they introduced since I last bought a DM booster and had a small heart attack. What the fuck is a gacha-range?
Might be the wrong place to ask this, but where is the best place to get physical copies of the Nisei Netrunner cards? MakePlayingCards charge $70 per set and I was wondering if there were better alternatives.
>>85010972No idea. If I know almost nothing about English/early DM, I know even less about later and modern DM. It’s normal for a game to just chug along and introduce new card types and mechanics that seem extreme compared to the initial sets though, right? I suppose it would be like explaining damage-off-the-stack, hybrid mana, planeswalkers, equipment, and mutate all at once to someone who stopped playing during Alliances.
>>85010953That's a cute one.
Actually that complexity ramping in games is super interesting to me. Either to lure in new players or because the designers have a better grasp of their game and how people engage with it, I love to see what’s injected into games.
>>85010780Dunno if this counts, but cards combining to make a larger image always makes me smile.bring back cross you fucking cowards
>>85011157It's always a balance between keeping oldheads engaged for staying with the game by introducing new rules for them to play with and introducing noobs to the game by keeping the rules to a minimum. And by balance I mean, one or the other, I don't know of any exceptions to this.

>>85002539The chainlink, and the chain are different, but yes. Once the chainlink is resolved, and damage is dealt, you can't retroactively go back, but if you manage to do arcane damage in that same chain link, maybe via spellbound creepers, then yes, it will still trigger.
>>85011034>>85011494I got some of the drivethru printed cards. They're fine. nothing that will knock your socks off, but the weight and gloss is about like a normal playing card, they're cut correctly, ink looks good, etc. the heavier weight MPC ones are noticeably snappier, but you pay a premium for that.>>85012009she's my favorite too, fernanda
>>85012009>>85011494On the subject of Ashes (and getting cards printed by third party companies), what do anon into Ashes think are the chances of the various Phoenixborn getting a second round of signature cards? Assumedly with a stipulation that only one of the two could be used in a single deck. Or perhaps different versions of the P-Borns, like how magic has done with its various legendary creatures and planeswalkers? Also is there anywhere that does good-quality double-sized (or half sized, for that matter) card order for bigger avatar cards, and teeny tiny creature tokens?
>>85012331I'd rate that pretty likely. We know they're not adding more dice types so 2nd versions or 2nd uniques for PBs is a pretty obvious expansion route. As to alternate cards, MPC or any of the on-demand printers can do it I'm sure. Although I don't know if I really understand what your intention is.
>>85006609>This means the first couple of turns are just spent putting down a card into mana zone and ending your turn?unless you have low-cost cards to play, yes this is how it goes in any game with 1 new mana per turn limits.

>>85011218Pretty sure that’s what rotations, formats, and “standard” is supposed to solve. You want to play continuously you stick to the oldest format or use your knowledge in the limited pool of cards. You new? Here’s a core intro and 2 years worth of mechanics instead of 5, 10, or 20 years worth of cards and keywords and sidedecks and bans and interactions.Either way I don’t find the introduction of complexity something that can’t be enjoyed by new and old players alike. Introducing a mechanic or adjusting design so everyone can have more options is easily possible. Wixoss’s various uses of Exceed is an easy example of a mechanic introduced, altered, and realteted without is somehow becoming to overbearing for a brand new player or unfamiliar to an experienced one. I just think a lot of games do it terribly.

>>85022718>Wonder what the Japanese version of the card has for its nameThere is none! ScoreZ was English only. Even the DBS Card Game, despite being made entirely in-house by Bandai in Japan, is not available in Japanese. (The theory goes that since the Carddass version, which was pretty much a prototype of DBS rules wise, only made it to 5 sets, they didn't think that it would succeed domestically)

>>85024382FF has some gorgeous art. I hate 90% of it though.
>>85025105Old Lycee was a crossover game with 100% (as far as I ever saw) original art, showing it could be done and modern games are just skimping. It was… of questionable quality at times but hiring doujin artists, fans, and occasionally professionals for your game is much more charming.I like that FF has added more of those commissioned pieces, and don’t entirely hate the idea of reusing some high-grade art that already exists but it doesn’t have to be the majority. But as long as you enjoy the game you’re playing I guess.

Caprice/ash but better and without link as a counterplay. Good in faction ice that is taxing that you also can't facecheck. Do you know what the official rules are and how well the game plays with rainbow backups. I've had poor experiences with rainbow sealed before.
>>85002857Man I miss this game. Simple design, even if it was built around one of worst localizations ever.

>>85026724I hope to pull some of those when I finally get around to opening the other boxes I have.
>>85027026Shit taste but you do you
>>85026659>>85026724Did the navis have colors they were naturally better equipped to play in or did you basically build whatever you liked that for their abilities?
>>85027407Each Navi had two of the four colors to back it, but they could be adjusted to tastes in some regards. A Navi's own cards obviously provide powerful options you can't get otherwise, but with my aformentioned 80% blue Torchman deck, I'm eschewing all of Torchman's red options save for Fire Factory. This gives me more general blue denial options to use in combination with, and using Ally cards like SharkMan or ProtoMan instead of his NetOp to fill necessary niches for my build. Fire Factory is the only red card in the deck, and requiring no red cards in play to play it makes it easy for me to still use as a strong poke option that helps even in the Power Gauge. So while color can matter, you can lean into one side of a Navi's gimmick usually and be fine. You just need to build for a goal that works. Which is easier to do for some colors than others sadly. Often you'll at least use one of your Navi's colors though.
>>85027613Interesting. I like the potentially freeform system that doesn’t lock you into a certain color. I’m sure it’s got its issues but the more I hear about the design the more I like it. Are the starter decks any good for introducing the game or are they just a convenient pile of cards with an avatar card guaranteed?>and using Ally cards like SharkMan or ProtoManCan you play other navi cards as allies from your deck to perform some function? The way you describe it it almost sounds like how ScoreZ handles personality cards in your main deck.
So has anybody here preordered some black label HP1 boxes?
>>85029109I kind of want a german box, but the shipping isn't worth it and I'm not trying to scalp.
>>85029306Well I've got somewhat good news for you then, if what I heard about the amount of boxes available at distro level is accurate these are gonna drop through the floor pricewise and you'll probably get them cheap even with overseas shipping.
>>85029052>Can you play other navi cards as allies from your deck to perform some function? The way you describe it it almost sounds like how ScoreZ handles personality cards in your main deck. No, each Navi proper is out at the start and can't be affected by cards intended to remove cards from the board. The basics of the game is you take turns playing cards until the end of the round. Each round you battle, and damage is dealt to your deck rather than a life counter. There are specific Ally type cards that represent different Navi's helping you from the side. But you can't use your own Navi as an Ally because card names on your field are unique. So when playing MegaMan as your Navi, you can't then play the MegaMan Ally, but you could play the ProtoMan Ally.>Are the starter decks any good for introducing the game or are they just a convenient pile of cards with an avatar card guaranteed?Starter Navis are unique and only available in the Starters. Some cards can only be found in the starters too. So it's a good way to get a head start on deck building for anyone depending, but most helpful for those Navis. Though you may end up buying multiples of the same starter to build a whole deck for your Navi of choice There's often a good spread of cards otherwise in there too.Navi cards otherwise are common, so if you want to build for a non starter Navi, it's not hard to end up getting a ton of them with a couple packs.
>>85029109No because im not ESL
>>85029345But I'd rather them not crash because I want the game to be supported by stores.
>>85029624>There are specific Ally type cards that represent different Navi's helping you from the side.I see. That explains a card I saw when looking into the game.>There's often a good spread of cards otherwise in there too.Awesome.>Though you may end up buying multiples of the same starterLess a fan of that, but they sound good for getting started or just learning the game and fooling around. Are the decks a decent example of ratios for deckbuilding? Not necessarily top tier decks but just to mimic for first deck attempts?>Navi cards otherwise are commonAlso good to know, thanks.
>>85031250>Are the decks a decent example of ratios for deckbuilding? Not necessarily top tier decks but just to mimic for first deck attempts? Not necessarily. The MegaMan starter, for example, has 21 Battlechips out of a total of 59 cards, minus Navi. Deck limit is 60 plus Navi, so a third of the deck there is Battlechips. Which, in a deck where playing lots of Chips is the ultimate strategy it might be viable, but considering you'll be playing 1 chip a turn without cards like the Spikey Virus or the Meteor Battlechip to play more than one a turn, it's often going to end up with you having fewer chips than that on average. I've seen decks only carry 4 Battlechips in total before because they focus on Events and Resources to do direct damage rather than battle damage. Others build around increasing Blast Destiny to increase Strength rather than raw Battle Chip driven Strength boosts. It will take a bit of getting use to the game to determine what you want to do, as it's hard to offer advice without one knowing how the game works as a whole. But once you start getting the hang of all of the mechanics, deck building is a fairly easy task.
There's no way aniplex cheaped out on getting signs for their own card game right? Or am I on copium.

>>85026910>EldoraLove it. Good freeze burst I guess?>AndromedaInteresting to have a “defensive” buff coming from a red card, but red’s always taken whatever it wanted, and I wonder how much Sashe, in Diva and All-Star, might want this. Lots of possibilities and the starter decks aren’t a full template or the only way to take the deck.Been thinking of trying the game out on a lark like some other things I’ve seen here. Even if I end up not liking it or playing more than twice, I’ve probably played worse and it looks like a fun evening at least.
Acting Without Thinking, Tsuyuri Kanao [CONT] This unit does not stand in the Stand phase. [AUTO] At the beginning of your Attack Phase, if you have an ace with the (Demon Slayer) attribute, stand this unit.

>>85033357Why should I play Cave Explorer? What do I stand to gain?
>>85033381I suppose you could fish out an Ace or key piece you might need later on.
>>85033035yeah, funny how every game that's not completely full of shitters doesn't struggle with this. it's just you lot and FaB that feel the compulsive need to drown out discussion of all games, including your own, with mindless spam.

>>85026578Sadly no, just use a few cards to post. I’ve played a few games online but don’t have any cards… or a huge interest in Final Fantasy.

>>85032889They're going to announce another collab set......
>>85036602If it's not Prisma Illya it's SHIT!
>>85036602Yes we already knew that from the last roadmap announcement.
Likely going to be SAO since there's a new movie coming out or Bleach since the anime is coming back. I'd say Bleach since that makes it easier to keep putting promos in VJump and get advertising from there.
>>85036688BruhFirst of all, Witnessed. Secondly, neither of those are Prisma Illya. I am fukkin livid, cunt.
Been fussing around with making my own card game as a side project, wanted to ask people about their feelings on how abilities are templated: Symbols or Text? >TextPros: Everything that a player needs to know about a card is explained on the card.Cons: Can take up a lot of space and make cards look cluttered or overwhelming for new players.>SymbolsPros: Saves space and can make cards look cleaner.Cons: Requires new/returning players to refer to rules/manuals outside of the game to understand how a card or ability works. Do you feel like there should be a general rule of thumb for what gets a symbol and what gets explained through text? Is it better to stick to just one way or the other?
>>85036775I'd use a very small number of symbols for conditional triggers you expect to use a lot. Only the ones that are most common, the rest can be done with card text. Things like "when {played, attacks, dies}"Everything else can be done with evocative keywords and plaintext. Please bold your keywords too, it's so much nicer than the undifferentiated text Magic uses.
>>85036775I like symbols for core mechanics and base card makeup because it caps how many symbols you’re going to have to learn while still taking advantage of them. Mana symbols, classes, stats, factions, maybe core keywords. Maybe even mechanics that don’t care what the symbols are named 90% of the time. It’s true that symbols take up less space but it’s nice to have the ability to read your cards and figure out what it does at any point. But since players will have to read the rules to know how to play anyway, saving space by using a little Fist or Sword instead of cramming STRENGTH in 4-point font onto your card could look nice and communicate mechanics fairly well.
P10 SIGNI spoiler.>Guzuko//Memoria, Small Trap[Auto]: When this SIGNI attacks, reveal the top card of your deck. If the card is a SIGNI with an even-numbered level, target opponent SIGNI gets -2000 power until end of turn.
>>85036857>Please bold your keywords too, it's so much nicer than the undifferentiated text Magic uses.Yeah already bolding them, and using the Magic philosophy of explain the keywords fully on simple commons/uncommons and just use the keyword on more complex rares/cards players will see less often. >I'd use a very small number of symbols for conditional triggers you expect to use a lot. Yeah, I think that's the main thing I'm struggling with figuring out what's deserving of the symbol. Stuff that is universal for all factions/colors is a good starting point- but how much is to much? Can I replace all card types referred to in an ability text with a symbol? Short hand common card game actions like milling into a keyword? How about things that relate to when a card is destroyed? My main worry is cards looking like some sort of weird code cipher, so I guess I'm trying to figure out good places to draw the line. >>85036894>Mana symbols, classes, stats, factions, maybe core keywordsThis might be a good guideline to chew on, the only thing I'm wary about is giving some keywords symbols and others text only. >it’s nice to have the ability to read your cards and figure out what it does at any point.Yeah, I'm crazy about draft/limited so that's super important to me. At no point would I ever want a newer or returning player ever feel like they have to grab a rulebook in the middle of a draft to figure out if they should pick a card or not.
>>85035157Love that this is “you may” so you can keep your hand if you like.>>85037006Shit card, but goddamn Guzuko.
>>85037018>Can I replace all card types referred to in an ability text with a symbol?Almost certainly not. It will both look like shit and make it awkward to add new types or subtypes for extra granularity when it comes to balancing. I don't think it's worth the brevity gained. For conditional-symbols it's got to be the absolute fundamentals and only the fundamentals imo. "When played" and "when destroyed" are great candidates, but I don't know your game enough to suggest exactly what. Try to keep the symbols low, I'd consider no more than 5. Like you said, you don't want a code. The reason I favor using your limited symbols on conditionals is you save 5 or more words, as opposed to 2 or less words for card-type symbols. "When CARDNAME enters the battlefield or attacks" is a fucking nightmare for MtG space wise.
>>85037366I guess to further illustrate what I'm thinking of I'll try a pair of dummy examples.>[Symbol PLAY][Symbol ATTACK]: blah blah this is what happens when you either play or attack with this card blah blah blahIs a nice way to save space, and you'll see this on a bunch of japanese games because it works.>[Symbol A]: first [Symbol B] then [Symbol C] to deal 3 damage to any [Symbol D], if a [Symbol D] is destroyed [Symbol E] then [Symbol F].Is probably what you want to avoid, it's starting to look like a code no matter how clear an intuitive your symbols are.
>>85037366>The reason I favor using your limited symbols on conditionals is you save 5 or more words, as opposed to 2 or less words for card-type symbols.Maximizing words saved when considering candidates for symbols is a good way of picking what will get the symbols and what doesn't. That's really helpful, thank you! >>85037433I think I get what you're trying to convey. Try to keep the symbols grouped together instead of spreading them out throughout a sentence? I might mess around re-translating some of my cards into that style to see how the formatting would look. If you have an extra second, do you mind re-writing your example but with the same filler text for reach style? Just to get a sense of how you'd achieve a similar effect for reach template. Because I'm not sure how you'd pull off your 2nd example in the 1st's style - or perhaps you're just trying to tell me that things like your second example should just stick to text?
>>85036775I'd err on using as few sympols as possible. If you have something super common, like tap or a symbol you want to use outside the text box (e.g. mana symbols) that also gets printed in the text box that's fine. But if you're questioning whether something should be a symbol or not, I'd err on the side of not. In regards to bolding keywords, have you also considered color coding keywords?
>>85037456>perhaps you're just trying to tell me that things like your second example should just stick to textThat is, essentially, what I'm trying to say. I think symbols will naturally be more elegant (and save more words) when they are communicating the *conditions* for an effect to take place instead of *game actions*.I would use a symbol for "when you play this" but I would not use a symbol to represent "draw a card".I'm sorry I can't give you a clear heuristic, I'm a little drunk and even if I wasn't I'm not sure I know how.
>>85037515>In regard to bolding keywords, have you also considered color coding keywords? Not particularly, since certain factions/cards are tied to particular colors I'd worry about it causing some confusion. Is there a particular advantage to it compared to/in addition to bolding besides drawing the eye to it a bit quicker? >>85037528Okay, now its a lot more clear what you meant by conditions. That makes a lot of sense to me. Thanks for all of your advice Anon, I really appreciate it!
>>85037667>Is there a particular advantage to it compared to/in addition to bolding besides drawing the eye to it a bit quicker?I find it makes the board easier to read. If all combat abilities are red, you know to look for those when you evaluate combat, if all entering play abilities are green, you know any ability starting with green text can be ignored.
>Crown of Seeds suspended in BlitzOldhim shitters absolutely SEETHING right now>nooo, what do you mean I can’t just fly through my entire deck while blocking out 10+ damage and making you do nothing fuck you LSS!
>>85037684Okay, that's a fair reason to at least give it a try and see how it looks on the cards I have now and see if I like it. Thanks Anon!
>>85037715I am actually literally seething right now. It's my favorite card in the whole game. Imagine suspending a $175 card. I think Oldhim will still blitz LL this season. It barely effects aggro Oldhim in blitz.
>>85037844Just wait until Prism dies in CC and you can still play it there
>>85037866I'm definitely still playing him in CC. I just have to play gem meta and hope I don't see any prisms.Of course, I tried that in my last PQ and my first 3 rounds were all prism. On the topic of blitz though, the whiplash of the last 2 metas has been concerning. First Viserai is sending so much fast arcane damage that no deck can possibly outrace or survive. Then Oldhim comes back with a list where unless you are Rhinar (or occasionally Kano) you just get fatigued and fuck you. Blitz is fundamentally broken.
>>85037891Yea Blitz is a shit format. Often it comes down to who has the best first 2 hands.
>>85038014Yeah when Rhinar does 8 unblockable damage t0 you usually just lose.
>>85037891Yeah I had to play against Alexander Vore's Kano R2 as Rhinar in Vegas Calling. Lost the dice roll and drew 4 non attacks starting hand. Needless to say we got swept by their team
>>85036565>IFBro iyslander is a slow control deck, their gameplan is to see every card in their deck
Anyone knows where new shadowverse set open for preorder? Also my first packages from Japan after War started coming next week
The 4th collab will be Fullmetal Alchemist. It will include some new art as well.
Some new art from 2 new starter decks and set 7 which will release in November. Presumably more info in August when pre-orders open up. They indirectly confirmed one of the new Starters will be Red.
Alternate art promos of the second wave of observers obtainable at Circle events.
Aniplex actually going to release KnY with no signed cards? What was the point of keeping the license out of Weiss if they are going to cheap put on their own card game.
>>85039342smug pug
>>85039353It’s a bit weird considering Fate will have signed cards. Not sure why they weren’t able to get signed, but I’d assume they would do it for Vol. 2 whenever that would release.

>>85039312Now I really wish the game had an english release.
Do people even play all these japanese card games in the west in organized tournaments?I understand the collectable aspect of them though.
>>85040577Wixoss, Digimon, Vanguard, and Weiss Schwarz all get regular events. Gate Ruler, as I understand, has had some online events, but a lot of their tournament scene is organized by fans. FoW had online events too. Don't know if they still do.
>>85040577If DBS counts it had a pretty lively scene here for the first 7 or so sets. I think it's still going after Covid, but I haven't kept up.
>>85040621>>85040633That's nice. I never see them because they get outshined by the bigger games in the places that I go to.I wonder how those events are even oranized though. Does everybody have to play and talk in japanese if everything is in japanese on the cards?
>>85039312they really went all in with the collabs, huh
>>85040621fow had an online event a few month ago, and still get a bunch of physical event there's on in spain next month
>>85040676all of these games are in english tho
>>85040887Then why do you guys post the japanese pictures here? Are those released earlier than the western releases? Or are those worth more for western collectors?
>>85040924depend on the game, but yeah wixoss for exemple; the english release has a delay, so people post the jap spoiler too, that are like a few sets in advance
>>85040308What is a Prisma Illya?
>>85041222I see. I'm usually all over spoilers on /a/ as well.
>>85039312By the way, they also started their own youtube channel instead of using the aniplex one.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdJFMPqwISb5yiFZRw5347g/videosHopefully it means their videos will stop being Japan-only region locked for no fucking reason at all.

>>85041603They finally realised after this long....
>>85039312based
>>85039312That’s honestly a little surprising given it hasn’t had an ongoing show or comic in a decade.>new artAt least that’s cool. Wonder if Arakawa will be doing any of it.
>>85040887That’s wrong. BS and DM hasn’t been in English in years. Only Wixoss’s most recent sets are English. No BD yet and a number of games with no English versions that we post all the time.>>85040676>Does everybody have to play and talk in japanese if everything is in japanese on the cards?Generally if you want to play a JP Weiss, Wixoss, or DM deck, or play games like Z/X, people will either memorize the cards or print out what they do. A number of players I’ve met know enough Japanese to recognize what some cards do (memorizing the words for “hand” or “destroy” or “deck” for example) and yeah if you’re actually playing in Japan it probably means you’re using some level of Japanese conversation.
>>85043083I think it's celebrating its 20th anniversary and there's 2 live action movies in the works.
>>85043192oofThe one live action movie I saw... man, it was like the first half was a tribute of love, and then for the second half they got some bum off the streets who'd never even heard of FMA. Totally caught me off guard.
Build Divide is never coming into English... they missed the boat completely.
How is Wixoss doing here in the west? Is it popular?
>>85043912Neither is Wixoss.
>>85044450Don’t know how popular, but it seems to be doing alright. Anecdotally my and other anon’s locals seem to be doing well, and people from other games have been trying it out. The online tournaments have been selling out and growing. Sets have gone through several reprints and they keep announcing more releases. It’s not gonna hit the top 5 games any time soon I’d wager, but it’s doing fine.
>>85041869We're playing instruments in the middle of a fight now? man this game really lost the thread after the first set or so
>>85044450hopefully it get's bigger so we can have tournaments irl. The main problem is some stores don't stock wixoss and a lot don't even host locals.
