Literally just saw the Anime and already really interested in Build Divide. Any U.S. release plans for the TCG?
>>81687938I am buying the hoodie.
>>81687938I don't think so at the moment, just bug Aniplex to bring the game over. Let the company know that people are interested in a worldwide release.
>TQFuck that’s a hard question. It honestly might be Vault Skirge from MtG, but as far as acgs I’m not sure. Hard to pick just one from some of my favorite games.

>>81687974People like to focus on the negative and the bitter shit.>What makes it really nice?Kind of everything. The pace. The interaction. The second deck. The resource system. Aspects of the deckbuilding. How all the decisions affect your next decision.Your attacks further your gameplan but also feed resources to your opponent as early as your first attack phase so there’s a constant tension from pushing and pulling and when to do so. No instant effects but a regimented sequence of actions and responses pre-attacking that make some defensive moves this turn become offensive opportunities next turn since the game is about lane management. Monsters attack ahead of them from a small field so while removal exists your monsters can always just punch stuff out of the way, the tradeoff being the above mentioned resource giving. Even control matchups feel fast and well paced since you’re both still setting up your field and opening holes in the opponent’s. A couple built-in inevitabilities and reliable card draw help all this out.I played a game recently and lost, but could point out several times I made decisions that could have extended the game if I had thought ahead better and used what I had readily available in a better way. I wasn’t waiting for a card or drawing duds or misplaying against a counter or 2-for-1 that set me on a downward spiral, I had all my tools and deployed them less well than my friend did over the game./gushing masturbatory rant upvote my blogpost

>>81688603Despite it being a blogpost it's stuff like this that makes me want to try a game. It's the passion and decision making from the player that I like to see.I'll definitely give it a shot. I would do the same if someone wanted to hear why I would want them to try out a game.>People like to focus on the negative and the bitter shit. This is extremely true. I think the worst thing is when I try to look at a game the first thing I get is negativity about the meta or something, not that passion which draws me to various tcg communities.

I like all the set 3 arts. They're nice. Lots of ways you could take it depending on the property, how deep you want to go with damage types or defenses ranges.
Is there a reason JP keeps comparing Build Divide and Gate Ruler like they're in some head to head competition? Both games seem different enough to me that it's useless comparing them. It's all over JP twitter.

Huh so I just found out Build Divide is officially listed in Youtube's English Gaming Database. I guess that's another hint we'll be getting it in English soon.
>>81690247I've been watching out for that and WIXOSS to pop up in TCGplayer's backend but I think they learned their lesson last time with GR/MZ
>>81690230If I can't convince myself not to buy cards, how will I convince someone else?
>>81690230I've spent $1500 on cards this week.Send help.
So, just a Build Divide rules question. Does having a single unit rested offer any more defense that not having it rested? Attacking it with something that has higher power destroys it regardless, no? Unless I'm missing something, which I believe I am.
>>81690230No. If I bought two, you also have to. It's only fair.
>>81690838>>81690747>>81690331Ok fine, I'll grab another box after I see how I do on the draft event this saturday. I play on rare drafting and probably just walking out after that. I still barely know what I'm doing with this system or how to build a decent deck, but I've got some ideas. Unfortunately everyone else around seems to want to build the same characters so it's hard pulling good stuff together.
>>81689151>It won't suck itself, sinner.
>>81690776>Does having a single unit rested offer any more defense that not having it rested?Normally speaking no. Since rested units cannot block. However, if the rested unit has the Decoy keyword then if your opponent would attack at all (either a unit or player) they have to attack that unit with Decoy. So it can act like a pseudo-blocker even at rest. But yes in normal cases if something attacks the rested unit with higher power then the rested unit will be destroyed. However, the rested unit will also deal damage to the attacker. So even if it doesn't destroy the attacker it can deal enough damage to where you could kill it by playing a command card to deal more damage assuming you have enough unrested energy available. Sorry if that did not answer your question.
>>81690981Ah, no, that answered it. Thank you very much. Clears that up nicely.
>>81690865Play grape boy and grape 'em in the mouth.

>>81687972>pull up the autism hoodie>completely punt and die next turnhow would you come back from this?
>>81692779Samurai cat with tail tentacles
Can I build a good deck with this slut? It seems like if I pack enough burn spells I can kill my opponent on turn 3.
>>81693861Define good? Like it's a functional deck because it's a win eventually ruler but it won't top a GP.
>>81693861no you can't.in magical Christmas land, you can get a turn 1 kill, but that's not going to happen that often (and your op can have an answer) the rest of the deck is just an aggro deck, except they suck since you can just play control with a combo.Like Dante/Carlinan WILL kill you t3 if can't answer the vergil, but even if you do, they have a gained a lot of time and you haven't advanced your gameplanif you want a red deck, just play violet'it's also shit against belial, but it's slightly less shit
>>81691226There's actually two other people playing him already. I'll probably go foppish laser guy since no one likes him and he seems to have decent cards. I have a decent selection of his stuff already and also a lot of mountain all might, but everyone's trying to build him already it seems.
>>81692757>>81692779>>81693473These are cool.
I normally don't collect stuff based by artist but I really like lack and Nuisuke. And golden etched foil Braid Claw is so awesome.
>>81696590Is that split card like the FoW ones?
>>81696916Yes, exactly. Works the same as well.
>>81695221There's going to be some dumb fun you can do with All Might once his other two forms drop. I dunno what that dumb fun will be exactly, but it will be dumb and fun. All Might 2 is coming in a premium "DLC" thing, and I assume All Might 3 will be in the next set.
Cute card.>>81699624 Has a fuckup in the ability text - the auto ability is team restricted.
Today's spoilers all play into center Umr's "moving SIGNI around" deck. This last one is the only decent effect among them; >>81699624 is too expensive and conditional, and >>81699676 is too low-impact, although it might work as an enabler.
>>81699676>Has a fuckup in the ability text - the auto ability is team restricted.Disregard this, I suck cocks. It has the team icon right where it's supposed to be.
>>81696590How does Braid Claw end up showing up in every thread. He's too good. Not even Bolshack gets that attention.
>>81699740Yeah I was looking for the fuckup.>>81699725>This last one is the only decent effect among themSadly pretty true. Umr’s other SR is a slow discard effect. If nothing else Yog CAN remove something, but paying 4 to properly target it is rough. Will still try building her.
>>81699437There's already a second All Might in a quirk pack, but the fact that his mountain symbol is replaced with death, which the other All Might doesn't have is pretty fucking terrible considering that not only are most of the good punch attacks mountain right now, but that you can only build off of one symbol in the my hero format ruleset.
>>81700206Yeah, but that's All Might #4. #2 is coming in the DLC pack, so that leaves #3 as mysteriously absent.
>>81690260So ready for her.
>>81699852>Yeah I was looking for the fuckup.Questionable translation choices aside (glow? idle?), the translation has been pretty solid so far, all things considered.>>81699852>Will still try building her.The nice thing about Diva is that the level 3s are rarely so powerful you feel punished for running a more niche choice. There's a few coming out in the last 2 sets that have me reevaluating how playable the early level 3s are, but all of them should be at least playable for the next year of gameplay or so.
>>81701567i had a theory about the glow/vanish. first off it could just be a translation error. for those who aren't aware, L and R have the same sound in jap, same with V and B.But it might be because when they use grow/banish, it's borrowed words from english, and it's got that "foreign" vibe. and they maybe tried to keep that vibe by giving the word and jap "accent" in the english translation.
>>81700339I think the DLC All Might is the same as the convention promo All Might with some errata. At least that's what I've heard the more seasoned players in my group say. It's also possible he might be a tournament or event promo as well. All that said, one of the toughest things about this game is picking a character that you know will be getting support for at least the 4 total sets they have planned and a ton of the students are throw aways in that regard
>>81702927And much as I enjoy a lot of the foil treatments Japanese games get, they do make some of the images hard to read sometimes.
>>81699806He's an iconic classic from the og set. He also is a legitimately good card that doesn't really need a retrain or anything. Unlike Yugioh or Pokemon where they have had to update and redesign Dark Magician and Charizard to keep up with the meta, DFBC is the same as he's ever been and is still seen commonly today.
>>81703521Oh, I totally agree. The foils are pretty but they do make scans hard to read.
>>81701567Yeah, and I’m not looking to dominate. Just have a slightly different deck than the Ancient Surprise deck I have my friend until Glowing comes out. And I figure with a booster box or two Umr will be easier to build than Tawil.
>>81704531>Umr will be easier to build than TawilYeah, Tawil is a lot more demanding. Umr can slot her gimmick alongside any other deck without too much trouble, since there aren't that many good cards for it, and she enables them all herself.
>>81700206WOAH. so if your character is:Air Fire DeathYou have to pick ONE of those that all of your characters have, no more taking a "death" turn and then later a "fire" turn? That seems like a huge change to how versatile deckbuilding used to be.

And speaking of red LRIG, new Lovit being lewder isn’t a bad thing.Trading the on-play banish and huge choking enerburn burst for consistent burning and more attacking is interesting. Reminds me of the Lostorage LRIG from way back that had starter deck and booster pack versions and both were playable if built right.

>>81691359I think it's a balancing thing. Generally speaking: the higher the health the smaller the hand. Like Goro has 40, but only has a hand size of 4.>>81705599Where are you getting that? I'm fairly certain you can still mix elements as long as the card matches your chosen character.
Build Divide is starting to get so popular that set 2 pre-orders are already out of stock at some stores, 2 months before the set even drops. I wonder if it can actually become the next big juggernaut TCG.https://twitter.com/cardland_akiba/status/1448119765260718083
>>81691359To be honest, I'm not sure his hand size actually matters much considering he dumpsters it in favor of just drawing three cards every turn. The hand size is just what you draw up to if you're below it, you can have as many cards as you can finagle into your hand, you don't have to discard down to your "max".
>>81706555Hopefully this means an English release sooner rather than later.
>>81706232>>81706371>you came to the wrong nyaborhoodThey stand out.
>>81706555That's really surprising. I wonder if Aniplex's initial stock was not that high? >>81705599>>81706468>>81707120Note that this is ONLY for the MHA (BNHA) only format they're pushing, not standard.
>>81707251This is good to know. It's a weird rule to enforce but I guess I can understand why.
>>81707351I'm certain it's just to make it easier for people new to TCGs as well as this system to build and run decks since it helps eliminate any potential confusion or mix-ups when it comes to card pool chaining. There's a handful of other specific rules like a 50+1 card deck-size restriction, but that's the biggest and most noteworthy change outside of you not being able to add characters to your staging area which I find especially strange given the franchises setting and themes, but I expect future sets to have cards that will do this since "true form" All Might can sort of do it already due to form changing.Toga and All for One come to mind immediately for gimmick characters that can make good use of this.
Is this part of the same series as the anime game being discussed above or a completely new thing?
>>81706236that's reverse super rare, they write its name in golden letters

Today's spoilers focus on At's assists. If you want to change the center LRIG of Ancient Surprise, you'll be using these.
Some overall solid options here. As usual, there's a high-cost, high-impact option, and a low-cost, lower impact option. I think I prefer this one, since it's more reliable, and Ancient Surprise is a deck that doesn't have much of a problem building ener, but Reminder's (>>81714033) potential double vanish for 0 ener is tempting.
A topping list from a tournament yesterday. 50 card Blue-Black Bloom. To be honest I'm not sure why we didn't see more decks like this from day 1. 50 cards reduces the odds you'll see more Busters in your life and since the deck mills a lot anyways it'll prevent you from decking out quicker and as the game goes on you will have more resources to pick from when using Bloom's revive skill. Also some interesting things to note: Buster lineup is pretty solid. Nadia aka BD's Aqua Hulcus is becoming a staple now with how hard card advantage is to come across in the set 1 meta. Bestora is there to die and bring a unit back to hand so you could bring back Nadia for more draw or Frida for more scouting abilities. You can't bring back Taboo units so no looping herself or getting Bloom back. Frida again is for the scout so you can have a better chance of milling Busters off the top with Casino of Doom to pop stuff on the opp field. Wolfen is a cute tech. You can't summon it normally since the deck only runs 1 Red card so the idea is to hopefully not draw it and mill it instead to revive with Bloom so he can give you more life if you're in the Red zone or accelerate energy.Everything else is standard Blue/Black removal. 2 other cards for Black that we haven't seen yet are Casket Mason who has a neat End phase effect to keep the top card of deck on top or mill it. This helps with several strategies. This can also combo with the other card, Lucky Provider who can send the top card of both player's decks to grave and if they're both units reduce the opp life by 1 without checking for triggers. Very interesting stuff.

>>81709833>It was a rebranding, he's mistaken.Really? I could have sworn they said that there would be new UFS sets going forward. But I am remembering this from like two years ago when they first announced the MHA sets.
>>81709833>Megaman is an older set that I believe was done before the current companyNo, Mega Man was done by Jasco, but it was like the second set they did.
>>81710183>The game's rarity distribution isn't too bad with that in mind compared to other gamesNah, it's still pretty bad, most games have around a 1/3 "hit" rate, weiss has 1/5.
>>81714087Yeah without modification this one is probably better. And either way she could potentially stop a LRIG attack from killing you or defend without targeting. And At’s cute. I want TT to do more comics or something with the Ancient Surprise team.
>>81688858I sincerely hope you like the game. Been enjoying it for years and and I’d like to think some people have started enjoying the game because of these threads.
>>81716303I mean after playing Duema, I'm sure I'll enjoy the cardstock. I like the art as well. Just hope the EN version survives for more than a year.
Wooo got small Kong in the mail. It’s super fun to look at 1 for 3 damage and compare it to something like 3 for 12-20 damage of the later sets.
>>81714139thanks for this
>>81709476So I don't know jack shit about the Japanese language, but I find it really interesting that this box has plenty of English on it. I also find it odd that the word "normal" on the cards isn't in Japanese. Do they not have that word in their language?>>81714841UFS became Universus. Old UFS sets are still playable (although their legality in official tournaments is different) and fully compatible with Universus.
>>81696590Man I really miss this game.
>>81717274>Frieza Saga>limited >in that condition That's pretty fucking sweet
>>81718033>So I don't know jack shit about the Japanese language, but I find it really interesting that this box has plenty of English on it. I also find it odd that the word "normal" on the cards isn't in Japanese. Do they not have that word in their language?I just took this as a sign that they want the game to go global which I still assume is going to happen pretty soon.
>>81718134*saiyan saga I'm retarded
>>81718148Fun idea, but Japanese games put important components of a card in English from time to time. I think it’s more a style thing.
>>81718268>I think it’s more a style thing. This, it's like when a character says "Cool!" or something.Japanese TCG have being using English on their cards for years. It's always been a style thing.Games since before Build Divide have been doing it.
>>81717274Red pill me on this game plz
>>81718660Out of print, no financial value and no competitive scene. Make of that what you will.
>>81718672I mean, what makes the game good or fun? Can you give a quick rules class for us? I know that the number above the effect of the character is how much you increasse its energy every turn, and that you tank attacks with energy, and that once you reach 5 rage you can lvl up the character.
>>81718672>no financial valueAnon jests. The cards can be quite expensive.
>>81718672>no competitive sceneThere are multiple fan formats that maintain leagues, fan projects adding custom cards to their format, and people who still play the original game. You’re not likely to find a physical group but if you wanted to play you could easily find a way.>>81718660>>81718758Pick a character. Pick a style (color). Pick a Mastery. Those influence how you intend to punch your opponent to death, grow the biggest hair, or gather the deus ex machina. You trade attack and defend cards back and forth, knocking the powerlevels and deck away from your opponent. Noncombat cards, allies, and the powers on your character and mastery do standard cardgame things like stack damage, defend for you, enable combos. Low level or casual play is a fun dustup where you try to gain small advantages and not fuck up card sequencing and small choices. Higher level play involves lockouts, one-turn beatdowns, wombo combos, and generally taking advantage of a specific card interactions.>once you reach 5 rage you can lvl up the character. This actually depends on how you’re playing. The original game introduced an easier way level and relegated Anger to niche combos and situations. Fan formats and continuations from other companies did keep the Anger system.Rulebook is in the OP. Some rules are omitted since standards were changed after GT (you can find the Buu rulebook) and a lot of groups don’t follow all these updated rules but it’ll give you a good idea.
>>81718758In a nutshell, choose a Main Personality and a Style (color). There are attack and defense cards of two types: physical and energy. If I play a physical attack, my opponent needs a physical defense to stop it, same for an energy attack/defense. Your lose when you deck out.
>>81718842Is that a sold listing? The highest I could find was SS3 Goku Buu Saga for 2gs.
>>81718134Yeah they nice. Beat up cards don’t stand out in my collection so I’m cool with them, but finding cards like this is a treat.
Final Gate Ruler set 3 Legend CardWonderverse legend is a Space Samurai
>>81719623>Da Galactic SamuraiJust enough corny for me to love it.
>>81719102Listing was pulled. I imagine an agreement was reached, possibly outside of ebay. Would've saved them both quite a bit of money between fees and taxes, at any rate. This is all speculation on my part, though. The $5500 price tag for that card is quite reasonable in today's market. That card is rare as hell.
Got around to opening that other package. My thanks to the anon who pointed out the listing.
>>81720229And the reason for the purchase
This thing looks even more terrifying from the front
Didn’t notice that there was more Midoriko Assists, but I like Mido so I’m posting them now.>Midoriko Rainspear>[Main Phase]>[Enter]: Target one of your level 2 or less SIGNI, and until end of turn, it gains [Lancer].Generic level 1 Assist but Lancer is usually generically useful.
>mostly derivative card game >your deck has cards of various types, including creatures/monsters/units/whatever>during deck construction, you can nominate any single creature to basically be a commander, like in the M:tG format>there's also a "regalia" card type, one allowed per deck, that upgrades your commander. It sits in the command zone or whatever, so it has its effect from game start
>>81721256What's it offer to truly distinguish itself from the crowd?
>>81721252>Midoriko Half-Moon>[Main Phase] [Attack Phase]>[Enter]: Target 1 of your opponent’s SIGNI, and vanish it.>[Enter](C): Target 1 SIGNI in your ener zone, and add it to your hand. The green unconditional removal is nice and the aggression feels very Midoriko. Optional recycling doesn’t hurt either. And damn I need this in foil.
>>81721252>>81721281Quite nice. Would be amazing if she was flat-chested though.
>>81721281And>Midoriko Repair>[Main Phase] [Attack Phase]>[Enter]: Shuffle your deck and add the top card of your deck to your life cloth.>[Enter](G)(C)(C)(C): Target 1 card without life burst in your trash, and add it to your life cloth.Nothing is more Mido than heal spam. This isn’t quite that but quick, modal healing is cool.
>>81721311Forgot pic.>>81721295This is thirsty milf Mido. She’s put her school days outfit back on with her reasonable jacket.
>>81721280Mostly the idea that you can make "anyone" the central star of your deck, and even customize them. Which I'll admit isn't that much.
>>81721343So UniVersus, Buddyfight, FaB?
>>81721256What are you talking about?
>>81721343>Which I'll admit isn't that much.Indeed. ScoreZ essentially does all of that. Choose somebody to be your Main Personality, choose a Mastery card and a Sensei card. Those all begin in play and can never leave the field. You build your deck around those choices.
>>81720248Ayyy you got it. That was fast.
>>81721379Indeed! Caturday is every day.
>>81721359>>81721373I think they’re taking a monsters/MtG game, like if you wanted to make Shivan Dragon or a nonRuler Zero as your commanduler and modify it with cards not meant for your main deck like the Score Masteries or Wixoss Keys.
>>81721359from what he's said Buddyfight would be the closest, except you can play your buddy from the buddy zone.>>81721373Having a Deck Identity card (FaB, UFS, DBS) is a bit different to having a creature you can summon once per game.It seems more like he's going for a 1 card extra deck that comes with a (potentially free) aura.
>>81721555>>81721557>no it's definitely commander but with relaxed restrictions and a bonus equipment Not exactly inspiring enthusiasm
>>81721659If the game was designed and balanced around it it shouldn’t be a problem. But I think theming would be important. The games with avatar cards use their avatars for marketing and to appeal to different players the way random goblin #16 might not, but maybe the extra card could mitigate that. Make it some god’s favor, or all the units are mechs and your selected command is augmented by the pilot you pick or something.
>>81720229I love the spell book idea. how a deck is utilized itself isnt changed up much in games and definitely a design space worth exploring.
>>81721256A couple of potential ways to spice it up:1) Make it a subset of creatures rather than just any creature, that way you can curate them to keep the ace monster appeal like >>81721760 points out. Alternatively your Regalia could have limitations to tie the deck together thematically.2) Rather than having a "commander" you could limit the cost and have it start in play. To pair with this you could have Regalia have the cost instead. To build on this you could also have the leader tied to the victory condition.
>>81723929>no steakBut her pet is hungry!
>>81724419Damn that art looks sick!Borof best boy
>>81721849I’d like to see how that game is played. Two playable cards per page seems limiting but I’m sure it works.
>>81724772>Damn that art looks sick!Indeed
>>81718842I have always wanted this card and a couple other GT cards from Lost Episodes that I'll probably never have.
If we're dreaming, we may as well dream big
DBZanon, would you happen to know how rare this would be in limited alt. foil? I have never seen it on eBay (at least in my country) and I don't want to stoop to using Facebook to get it.
>>81726205Won't be as rare as an Ultra Rare, but something you'll just have to keep an eye out for.
This card in limited alt. foil is another grail of mine. I really want it for my GT Trunks deck even though I would rarely get to use it. I saw it on eBay years ago for like $2,000 but I doubt it's worth quite that much.>>81726240I'll keep my eyes peeled, then.
>>81725722this is the real reason gr isn't gonna make it in my mind, not even the ikeda shit
Other timesIt's just sitting In a box
>>81726175>>81726182>>81726193Wow fuck these.>>81726246>but I doubt it's worth quite that muchSome of the prices have been skyrocketing, whether it’s diminishing supply or just covid boredom. There are quite a few level 4s and 5s priced anywhere between $25 to $2000 that I don’t want to pay that much for.
The final ruler updates before Gate Ruler set 3 were announced today:Highlander AND Legion:>3 Legends(Up from 2)>20 CNTs(Up from 16)Legion Specific:Starting Hand Size to 3(Up from 2)Overall very good buffs and being able to use 20 CNTs is a first for any rulers in the game currently
Anyone have any experience with this game? I’m probably not looking to do a deep dive or anything but would grabbing two starter decks be fun?
>>81726386Oh, shit! Nice! Was that from eBay? I think I recall you saying you only use eBay for this stuff so I'm just curious. >>81726396>Some of the prices have been skyrocketing, whether it’s diminishing supply or just covid boredom. There are quite a few level 4s and 5s priced anywhere between $25 to $2000 that I don’t want to pay that much for.Yeah, the weird TCG "boom" or whatever you want to call it that happened recently (started with Pokemon, I think?) seems to have messed up the market quite a bit.
>>81726434>Was that from eBay?Nah. Pulled it from a pack in 2004. It's a solid Sensei Deck card.It was in a box, so I fished it out to have a look.
>>81726545I have to admit I never played back when the game was still going. That's cool that you're still playing after all these years. I still need to find a playgroup myself. Just been building a couple decks super slowly over the past couple years or so. By the way, after having seen some really expensive cards you've posted from your decks (specifically the SWK one), I was wondering, are there any cards you're still looking for that are really valuable but still attainable?
>>81726577>I was wondering, are there any cards you're still looking for that are really valuable but still attainable?Outside of World Championship promos there's very little I really need. I've never even flexed a bunch of other things I have in my collection.
>>81718268>>81718599Yeah it is more of a style thing just like how westerners like japanese even if they don't understand it. My favourite example is the pokemon tcg where all mega evolution pokemon had giant captions. In japan they had english and here we had it in japanese.>>81720229>>81720248Damn, i'm jelly. Nice haul and nice cats.
>>81726804>>81726816>>81726830Always impressed by what you post. Any new decks you're currently working on?
>>81726903>Any new decks you're currently working on?Goku and Taxes is nearly playable. Some further patience (and $3-400) and it'll be in good shape.
>>81721256wait, so your "idea for a game" is an uninspired MTG format?that's uh, that's cool I guess
I am ready to receive all of your hate
>>81727503>mfw.jpgHow does it play?
>>81726805>going through the effort to reverse the languageOkay I give them credit for that.>>81727503Post pics of cards!
>>81727526I have no clue. Just got that starter in the mail.
>>81727715What the fuck is that card shape?
>>81727771The shape is for flavor, but it's awful in practice. If you even look at these cards for too long the edge will whiten.
Build Divide Badratos vs Lionel duel videohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLh1onqJJPg
>>81726427Team covenant (youtube) did recently a 1 hour long "lets learn to play and gameplay" on this game. Just see the begguing for the rules, see the rest for a game with 2 newbies.
>>81728196Game does look fun
>>81728196Badratos is very cool. You can call out your big Dino/Dragon thing swing relatively comfortably for 11k since only triggers can target it and even then there are only a few that can actually kill it. And then even if it somehow dies it floats back into Badratos so you can use his skill again to cheat into something else. And everytime you cheat something out his territory gives you an extra life. Cool synergy.
>>81728204I watched that vid, thanks. First I’d seen of the game beyond random card images posted here. I think an anon was buying up dragons. Was just curious if anyone knew more about the starter decks, or if they had any experience buying more cards or how fun it was. It looks interesting from that TC video.
Another video from those same guys but this time it's Lionel vs an interesting combination of Bloom/Margeria.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mSWI4BNyvQ
>>81696590I don't know what that game is, but that translation makes me wanna gouge out my eyes... It's a fire themed dragonoid, the katakana sounds "bu-re-i-zu" like... oh I dunno... blaze ?But no, let's go for braid, that's surely it.How old is this ? Last time I saw such a shitty translation was on Yu-Gi-Oh! Looks badass though!
>>81728695Insane. I think that's the longest game I've seen yet at 20 min. I guess it's games like this which really bring out the charm of Build Divide. The Bloom guy was on 0 life for a really long time, all the Lionel guy needed to do was attack one more time but somehow Bloom player was able to amass enough resources to keep calling more units out and eventually win through sheer advantage even if the Lionel player had a lot of shot triggers in life which he did. And the Condemnation counters helped to keep the Lionel player in check by making it a harder decision for him to summon new units at the risk of increasing the number of counters while helping the Bloom player fill the board thanks to Elizabelt. Very cool comeback victory that shows the potential of two mechanics that may have more synergy than it seems on the surface.
>>81727503>not the boardgamewhy do you do this to yourself, dude?
Adriano vs Shadowhand>Level 3 Event>Wonderverse>Adriano vs ShadowhandCNT: Choose 1 level 1 or lower Space Peeps or Future Folk unit from your graveyard and special summon it.-----Timing: Standard Action■ Declare either Future Folk or Space Peeps and look at the top 4 cards of your deck. Choose up to 2 units that have the declared attribute with their total level of 2 or less and special summon them. Put the rest on the bottom of your deck. Then, use OD and TD abilities of those units.Flavor Text:>"Let's give this a try...Adriano, I am your father!">"Nice try, but my dad runs a pizzeria in Rome and has a bigger belly than you!"This card is hilariously good if you have the luck or deckbuilding to accommodate it and perfect for an Adriano theme deck
>>81729794Singularity Spirit, Schrödinger>Level 1 Unit>Wonderverse>OWL, Paranormal, Space PeepsCNT: Use this card's OD or TD.-----Discount: You may [DR 1] to instead pay a cost of 0 to play this.TD: Choose 1 of your opponent's set cards and destroy it.OD: Put 1 card from your graveyard to your damage zone. If you do, heal 1.■ "Parallel Familiar" - Turn 1 - Standard Action: Until the end of turn, this and all units in your damage zone gain 1 attribute of your choice.■ This cannot be chosen by your opponent's cards and abilities.Flavor Text:>Even a mathematical singularity desires a mind and body of its own. After all, anything is possible in the Wonderverse.Goes great with the card above and sets up some potentially interesting damage zone plays. Will need to be seen how it gets used
So Build Divide fags how does one stack Condemnation counters if your Judgement units keep being killed every turn?
>>81727802How long did it last?
>>81730657Margeria’s territory adds a Condemnation Counter every time you have a Judgement unit that gets destroyed.
The Spiral of Birth
>>81726434>Yeah, the weird TCG "boom" or whatever you want to call it that happened recently (started with Pokemon, I think?) seems to have messed up the market quite a bit.Especially for any games based on popular anime franchises. Good lord, Digimon cards got to absurd prices real fast, and scalpers were buying boxes left and right to flip them.I wonder if the main reason we aren't seeing it yet with MHA is that Universus is too small to get the attention.>>81726805Man, remember when basic Charazard having 120 HP was like crazy strong, and now you can get fucking Garbador with more health than that?
You know, the digital scans are nice and all, but pictures like this really sell the Build Divide card-art for me. They look even better in real photos, as most cards do. Tempted to buy the Japanese cards just to have.
>>81732499The cardstock is apparently the same as Buddyfight and Gate Ruler too.
If my opponent had a level 3 LRIG, would I be able to use this card's choose one effect three times or four times?
Bloom-Margeria top from yesterday. Very similar concept to the fight video posted above. You basically want to play a slow tempo game slowly building up resources aiming to win in the late game. You run a few Judgement cards to build up Condemnation counters but the win-con seems to be controlling the board with Bloom using her revive skill on Elizabelt and then using Elizabelt's skill to draw a card and call another unit to the field, then you build a massive field and go for the kill all at once instead of attacking early and possibly triggering the opponent's shot triggers which could break your fragile field. You have Margeria who can still use her damage reduction skill even if you don't run her territory. Elviyu is a solid revival target to stall a bit since she becomes a whopping 10500 Decoy which can protect you against pretty much anything aside from Badratos' 11000 Dragon. Bestora is just a generic 1 salvage from cemetery to pick up key units you might need. Your commands are all disruptors. The 5 cost White that sends something back to the top of the opponent's deck and the 3 and 5 cost Black commands which destroy and reduce damage. The 4 cost command can add 2 units from cemetery to hand so again more toolboxing and getting key pieces back.
Catching up on some Wixoss spoilers.
Boring, and marginally functional, although the level 1s are the dual coloured SIGNI you're likely to actually use.
Cute frog tummy.>>81733093Level 3 = 3 times.
This next wave of spoilers has something in common as well! Try to guess what it is!
>>81733093i think you only get 3 usesfunny how that card is stronger in key/allstar because decks there regularly use lvl 4/5 LRIGs while in Diva it's capped at a max of 3
(The answer is they all suck.) And this one sucks more than usual. As spells these are basically unplayable, but they have generally strong life bursts, so they can be useful to round out a deck early in the format. Although after another set or two, you really have no reason to even look at these.
>That DinosaurHoly shit.
>>81733498It's actually a Dragon and Granadiga is a big boy.
>>81733498I will admit, the idea of running dinosaurs alongside angels makes me excited to Red/White this shit.
>>81733544Oh, my bad. But badass nonetheless.>>81733564I had the same thought.
>>81733608You're good. I made the same mistake too. It's totally a dinosaur but for some reason it's a dragon.
>>81733629Well, he's also pretty familiar..
>>81733933>bro do you mind just shuffling a little more?
>>81729144It was like $6 after shipping. A small price to simply have a look.>>81731154One set, it looks like.
>>81733933Those were at least made of plastic and had a gimmicky reason to be weirdly shaped (stacking their transparent sections over each other at different angles to create gestalt cards).
>>81732550Oh god, it's that good cardstock? I might have to dip in.
>>81687898>>TQIf we are talking about art, any of the mobius fftcg cards, they pushed them hard for a shitty gacha game that barely lasted a few years. Ability wise I loved pic related, such a cool card concept. Had a fire lightning deck built around yeeeting backups and nuking the board
