My players want me to run a session set in a medieva wedding with political intrigue and shit.

Fuck me but I have 0 ideas.

What can I do?

Make it about a misadventure where the majordomo of one of the newlyweds hires you to stop an assassination plot while staying discreet. Big bonus if the marriage goes off without a hitch. You could also add some plot to it where some of your party is tempted to go full Kill Bill on the ceremony.

That's good.

Also I just remembered Green Ronin published Wedding Knight for its A Song of Ice and Fire RPG, although I seem to remember the adventure being kind of crappy.

>bride wants to poison her father in law, her own father and her husband and inherit everything
>she's in cahoots with one of her sworn knights
>she's one month pregnant of him
>the bride's sister knows her secret
