Just repeating what I said a couple of threads ago, in case someone feels strongly about it.I'm considering adding a 400cp option that bundles the three 200cp Spirit facilities (exploration centre, summoning and dismissal centre, training centre) together. These items seem to be rarely taken, and I think part of the problem might be how cost prohibitive it becomes to take all three (500cp, and using your 200cp item discount). Please let me know what you think.
>>77695609I definitely like the idea.
>>77695616Okay, thank you for your input anon.
Which jump is better? Marvel Cosmic or DC Fourth World
>>77695609If it's not at the expense of other stuff, nor does it unbalance stuff, then go for it.
>>77695692>picbased, fuck muties
>>77695717Amen, and is the congressman in that pic supposed to be the villain in that conversation? He's not even spewing lies or anything he's just making a factual statement, how can that be something to root against?
>>77695717>scientifically incorrectbruh
>>77695751yeah, but writers like to give mutants a victim complex
>>77695717God i want to see that smug fucking face caved in, holy shit is this how kitty is now?
>>77695692Fourth World seems better made. Both settings are equally shit.Arguably 4th World has the highest start, but some of the Marvel Cosmic perks would let you go further away.
>>77695717the problem with his line of thinking is that most mutants DON'T have protagonist-tier powers, they're just jobbers who could be taken down by a dude with a shotgun.
>>77695717>scientifically incorrect>literally a new species of homo sapiens
>>77695717>that's scientifically incorrectSo is the "next evolution of humans" bullshit.
>>77695751>factual statementNah, it is a pretty questionable statement to make in a world where people like Doctor Strange, Iron Fist, etc. exist. Even if they didn't, that's like saying that Neanderthals aren't human because they were stronger on average. Even though there are objective divergences, they're still part of the homo genus. And it is pretty retarded to single out mutants for special treatment when all the other powered individuals of different origins exist. Yeah, the context of Marvel is pretty ridiculous in the first place, but within that context the dude's just plain wrong. It's a dumb strawman on the writer's part, but the problem that they're writing that to happen, and the character is factually incorrect.
So I ended up doing The Ocean Hunter after all today. Just a wee lil' short jump for a wee lil' light shooter everyone's probably forgotten. Feedback & commentary appreciated.>>77694856Oh! And in case the wording's unclear in any way: Rahab's drawback doesn't make him a scaling enemy. It just gives him a big dumb final form that lets him use variants of the other sea monster bosses' gimmicks, and possibly some more forms if you don't thoroughly fuck up his body after beating up this one.
Look, it may be argued that marvel humans don't have a right to human rights, since they're non-human, but every society with undoubtedly sentient non-humans ought to apply basic human rights to the sentient non-human population.HOWEVER: there is in my mind no justification at all for mutants NOT being required to register themselves and be closely supervised and trained by the state. It's like people being born with various hidden weapons of varying calibre on their body (quite literally for some muties). It would be retarded to not force them to omit some liberties; surely they'd have to agree with that
>>77695905Mutants are already treated extremely well legally speaking. It's not like black people are immune to the law in Marvel because Wakanda exists.
>>77695905> trained by the stateOnly if they get automatically drafted. Otherwise you're asking taxpayers to pay for that, and the state's not gonna give a shit anyway.
>>77695905>it may be argued that marvel humans don't have a right to human rightsi meant to say marvel mutants, but that actually fits very well
>>77695924trained as in >"we're going to teach you basic (trigger) control and how to calm yourself. We're also looking for some economic applications for your power in the mean time. Also here's some drugs that may help you to calm down" not the promising approach by Xavier that's basically >"I'm going to teach you how to "control" your power, but also how to make your powers much more powerful and dangerous and how touse your power much more effectively mostly in combat"
>>77695715I don't think it unbalances anything, as far as I can tell. But I raised the issue in case someone could see something I missed.
>>77695879I have no idea what this is, but thanks for the jump! Reading it now!...Also, it occurs to me; you really did have a lot of untapped jumpmaking potential hidden within you. Is this your shonen arc, unleashing your hidden power?
>>77695879Man, I remember when you said you were gonna just do that one jump
Just FYI, I have just gotten my first job, starting on Monday (hurray) but that means jumpchain related stuff is probably going to slow notably. At least for the next little while, while I get used to everything.
>>77696027Nice, good luck dude
>>77696027Congrats Valky! Good luck on your new job!
>>77696027Hey, congratulations! What do you do? Anyway i hope it's fullfilling to you, even if it's just for the money
>>77696027Good for you. I hope things go well.
>>77695905>Look, it may be argued that marvel humans don't have a right to human rights, since they're non-humanI agree. They're beneath humanity in every way that matters.>I meant-No no, you were right the first time. Really affording them basic human rights is generous for those grotesque little abhumans>closely supervised and trained by the stateNow that said, there is the slight issue of the state IN MARVEL, SPECIFICALLY being rotten and corrupt to such a fundamental level that experiments which created the Hulk are directly responsible for giving Super Satan a foothold to corrupt existence. And last year they litearlly tried to recapture banner, dissect him and extract that devillish goodness in an attempt to toy with forces beyond their ken. As a direct result, loads of old Hulk characters are now running around Marvel spreading Super Satan's influence willingly and unwillingly. So you see there may have been valid arguments for registration in a saner world, but the question of governmental accountability aside IT'S MARVEL. IT'S SUPER SATAN'S PLAYGROUND.>>77695995I still think it's my "I'm too old for this shit, but here we go on one last adventure" arc.>>77696006Me too, anon. Me too.For what it's worth I'm still not committed to definitely doing Nobilis. There's so many factions to represent: The Light, the Dark, Hell, Heaven, the idiosyncrasies of True God and Aaron's Serpents. And the damn Zu which 3e made canon. Which seems more prudent than my original idea for discounting stuff based on Aspect/Persona/Domain/Flore if I wanna be able to rep Imperators too.>>77696027Congratulations!
>>77696055I have started work as a Quality Assurance assistant. Lots of checking stuff is good, making sure numbers are right, etc. Later on I'll get some lab training too, which is nice.>>77696049>>77696054>>77696055>>77696062>>77696069Cheers
>>77696027Congrats, hope it goes well for you.
>>77696069Is The One Below All really that bad tho
>>77696139Well, it literally wants to destroy all of Marvel forever because the mystery disgusts and frightens it so. I guess from a certain point of view, it's the REAL hero of the setting.
What are some good jumps to become a lich?
>>77695879Nice font (and jump)I'm not sure if the Rahab option should be 500cp and the midgardsorm should be 600cp. I haven't played the game and don't know just how fucking big that worm is, but Rahabs overall controll and widespread abilities seem to be far better than just being really big. Also, is he called mindgardsorm instead of midgardworm, because someone pressed the wrong letter on the keyboard (not you, but the game creators)?
>>77696161I don't think any jump offers a D&D phylactery type lich.
>>77695905That would only work if the government was even semi functional and not secretly controlled by a dozen differnt conspiracies.
>>77696161Harry Potter.
>>77696231I appreciate the heads up, but the thing that tipped the scales for me is that ultimately for all his powers, Rahab fell to two goobers with guns. This isn't one of those settings where deities can defend themselves in close combat with their divine powers or are inherently unkillable, at least from what we've seen of his boss battle given he fell over after being shot enough. Midgardsorm was big enough to smoosh those same goobers with his sheer bulk, can retreat under the ground and unlike all the bosses Rahab created has no external weakpoints; if he'd never opemed his fat mouth, he'd have survived the whole game. From a pure survival perspective, it just felt like being Midgardsorm being BEEG tipped the scales too far. If you're a sea god, there's a chance however slim two really good hunters could gun you down and your powers aren't accurate enough to like-zap them with a thunderbolt or suck them, specifically, into a maelstrom. If you're Midgardsorm, there's not a lot two hunters can do about you just slithering away and ignoring them.>is he calledhttps://theoceanhuntergame.fandom.com/wiki/MidgardsormIt's the game creators in this case, same reason why the basilosaurus is so small. Speaking of, this pic hopefully gives an idea; there's a reason why the thing's bounty art shows it swallowing ships.

>>77696424>>77696438>>77696447Tried making double perklines. Ended up with crap like “you are a very swole, sexy, colorful fish” and “you understand how to build these things that aren’t explained in the light shooter, at all” that deviated too far from the focus of the setting. I can give it another shot after dinner, but frankly I’m not optimistic.

So did you guys ever find out who put that hit on you in Skyrim?
>>77696580Yes, get Shadow Monarch in Solo Leveling, kill them and resurrect them as immortal shadow servants. I think it may have something about keeping armies there but this is clearly a better option.

>>77696757Have you read any of Valeria's jumps?
>>77696934Val feels like she's gotten worse. She used to write succinct, flavorful descriptions, sometimes reaching multiple paragraphs when absolutely vital to understand a given perk. Her jumps really are bloated, now, with dry-ass generic descriptions that could fit in almost any jump.
>>77696997Disagree actually. Can't change how you see them as you like what you like but i personally prefer the added fluff and enjoy her current jumps more than her earlier work.
>>77692370Is that anon who posted the blacked Hinata jump last thread still around? Dude if that's just a shitpost then give it to me, I'll finish it.

>>77697096Fujino, who isn't a bullshit Void thing like Ryougi, can be summoned by the Counter Force so presumably yeah.
>>77697137Started as a druid, became a pretty chill god of fire, death, and darkness.
>>77697093Honestly, I can't say. I used to really enjoy Tomb Kings and the other WHFantasy jumps she made, but it's been years since I've read them, and my standards have changed. I remember Oasis of Fantasy as being decent enough, even if I'm generally not a fan of the power-levels it covers. She's never really been one of "the greats", but there used to be a time when I looked forward to Val jumps. How much of that change is me and how much her, who knows, but now I'm ambivalent to them at best. >>77697110Oh, no, I totally agree there. The wank factor has decreased noticeably. Mechanically, she's definitely improved. But in terms of shit like fluff and flavor, none of her recent jumps have particularly stood out to me. And then there's a factor of "does this all need to be here". Bleach felt like it had dozens of perks for accomplishing the same, slightly different thing. Like "you're good at combat" "you're good at combat, but..." "you're good at swords" "you're good at swords, but..." and it just got tiresome to read. Redundancy is good practice if you're (bio-)engineering, but if you're doing artistic/creative, it can really bring down the quality of your work. It's indulgent, and the impact is lost every time an idea is repeated.
>>77697280Fix your jumps Beast.

>>77697341Daggerfall ever?
>>77697137I'm about to start a new chain, so i've not written out anything, but i'm playing with the idea of a young man being chosen by jumpchan (or whatever benefactor fits the story better) during a time where his people are being genocided. He takes up the benefactors offer just in order to gain power and take revenge. He'll actively search out backgrounds and perks that make him more powerful and try to keep the momentum of his hate going. Problem is: it's a random roll chain in which he has to visit a min. 30 worlds and he might end up 10 years in some comfy anime setting. His struggle will mainly be one of character (depending on the rolls): will the new experiences change him into a man who doesn't seek for revenge anymore? Will his hate only grow? Will he even want to go back to his world? Will his guilty conciousness, anger and sense of duty to his people keep him from finding true happiness and actual ways to help his people?Something like that

>>77697590Wrong, she is also a lesbian, hates everyone except her best friend and wants to go to France and to be a NEET. Quite the personality.
>>77697734The Shinma are frankly the easy part. The hard part is writing double-descriptions for every other thing which explain your fancy world-warping charisma and mindboggling celestial [flowery word that now means horse racing] turns into shitty illusions and themed mutations in Creation, where the rules of reality are properly anchored by the Virtues and you're not just allowed to babble whatever conceits you want into being using the mythopoeic ur-set.

>>77697771Personally I found that the easiest part to understand and explain about them, just describe it as like warping dreams into existence that also reacts poorly when you take that into a reality that defines itself through stability, permanence, and your actions having consequences you can't just shrug off when it bores you. It's the shinma that are wrapped inside vaguely-Buddhist-Hindu koans and have a lot of Jenna nonsense around them which would make unpacking them the hard part, particularly because the Raksha are much closer tied to them.
>>77697796No, she has some trust issues after her best friend fucked her and only got along with her team because she was one stabbing them in the back. There's a guy called Greg that tries to be nice at the start but he gets ignored by her by being a weirdo loser.

>>77697796>>77697831>>77697837Doesn't Greg try to talk to her at the start of the story and she ignores him because he's too annoying?

Though Grue being a good looking guy who was nice to her and valued her opinion also helped.
>>77697886Yes, Greg got blacked by grue and piped by Weld.
>>77697886Yeah that's the thing-they have established history. She didn't with the Undersiders, and you can't let down what was never there while any goodwill that comes of it seems all the rarer. She doesn't with Jumper either.

>>77698068As an anon, I honestly say that all canons always lie.
>>77698080Motherfucker, I didn't even consider that.
>>77697873>just describe it as like warping dreams into existence that also reacts poorly when you take that into a reality that defines itself through stability, permanence, and your actions having consequences you can't just shrug off when it bores you>Raksha have their full powers inside settings like Marvel
>>77698095Whatever you do don't let that bitch into Hollow Knight
>>77698023One of Taylors bully is named Sophia. Taylor thinks the school protects her because she is good at track. In reality Sophia is the Ward(underage hero) named Shadow Stalker. The school principal knows about this. The school also has a gang proplem so having a hero close by is useful. Ther might also be some monetary incentives? Can't quite remember. But the basic idea is that any official inquiry into Sophia is told from up high to shut the fuck up.
>>77698130That's.... stupid.
>>77698130I think the monetary incentive is the school thinks that having a ward in the school might bring more and turn the shitty school into something respectable like Arcadia.Or maybe that was the fanfiction explanation, its been years since I read Worm.
>>77698149Welcome to Worm, my friend
>>77698149Obviously. It's Worm
>>77698130>Letting young heroes become spoiled and gain bad habits early onActual retards
>>77698172How fast would all of the problems in worm be dealt with if the Justice League was sent there?
>>77698172Clark, please. Like you have room to talk.
>>77698149it gets more stupid when you realise there was a nazi gang in that school and they just let a nigger bully a white girl
>>77698149An interesting side note, Taylor thinks "overlooking the shit she does because she's a hero" is dumb and shitty in regards to Sophia and other stuff on the good guy's side, but uses similar reasoning to excuse stuff on her side. Alec is a good example of that. This was almost certainly intended.I didn't have any particular reason for bringing this up.
>>77698078Heh. No. Have you ever heard of Bleach?
>>77698172Oh Sophia is actually on prohibition. When she was a freelance hero she nailed gangbanger to walls with steel crossbow bolts etc. After one very nearly died she was strongarmed into joining the aforementioned goverment heroes "to clean up her act/learn restraint etc" with the other option being juvie.
>>77698220Yeah, that's kinda dumb considering how the real life aryian brotherhood in US prison work, they would actually use Sophia and the ABB to bring in new recruits.
>>77698172>implyingUnfortunately, most people aren't Superman. If you don't spoil your heroes, most will just turn to villainy.
>>77698220Apparently they thought the name Taylor Hebert sounded jewish.
>>77698250>If you don't spoil your heroes, most will just turn to villainy. Those aren't heroes, they're mercenaries

>>77698258According to a quick google search, it is apparently German. Which is actually pretty funny.
>>77698241>aryian brotherhoodwat
>>77698285Poor highschools are pretty shitty places.
>>77698285Yeah, that's worm. Funny enough, the Asian melting pot gang is worse then the Nazi gang, both with racism and crimes.
Wormfags are a mistake.
>>77698307Yeah, you would think such a bad book would stop being mentioned here.
>>77698307I still don't get the appeal of Worm.
>>77698296Yeah, one of those all white gangs in Prison, they use protection as a way to get more recruits because weirdly enough prison in the US has gangs based on race. I remember seeing a few documentaries on them.
>>77698149Stupid stuff happens when the powers come from alien parasites who push their hosts to fight each other, as a weak reason for comic book cliches happening in a real-world setting.
>>77698250>If you don't spoil your heroes, most will just turn to villainyProve it

>>77698330Taylor Hebert, apparently
>>77698250Vought-American hands typed this post.
I tried reading worm, but it's just so fucking unnecessarily "wordy"Is there any fan-edited version, that gives me the main storyline with the bullshit cut out?
>>77698269Heroes aren't created, they're found from among the people. You can either not have a system to support heroes, meaning most of them will die or get crippled or otherwise have a much harder time, or you can build one that accounts for human nature, trading evil for dickishness. Most people aren't going to risk their lives without compensation or special privileges, and if you don't reward people for acts of heroism, you'll just get a world without heroes. Whether due to absurd turnover rates or failure to appear in the first place. And then you just ended up throwing away lives for an unrealistic ideal.
>>77698286If the spoiling includes abusing their position of power so they can fuck with people without punishment then it's not really that far from villany.
>>77698334>alien parasitesThis is why I don't wanna go into Worm, everything I hear about it is like diarrhea that goes everywher and I'm like, what.
>>77698376I have a box that can create heroes though. Put a person in, out pops a hero.
>>77698395A Herobox?
>>77698371most people only know the story from fanfiction anyway
>>77698371I fucking wish, i've read worse so even if i end up not liking it i could read what worm is about without hating it with all probability. But that doesn't matter when it's several times larger than all those other bad stories combined with prose that honestly makes me wish i was 14 and trying to parse Lovecraft again. How he can constantly inflate his every paragraph is maddening.
>>77698395A vagina?
>>77698376>Most people aren't going to risk their lives without compensation or special privilegesYou ever hear of an army? Usually most people who are enlisted aren't there for cash, they're there because they care about and want to protect their nation, they're a part of something bigger than themselves. People are more than willing to throw their lives away for their people and nation, unless they're hyper individualistic like you
>>77698420I know the story from TVTropes.
>>77698462anon I was there, most people do it cause they need the money.
>>77698487Not historically. I'm aware that's more of an issue today, but then again far more people are individualistic nowadays
>>77698462>most people who are enlisted aren't there for cash, they're there because they care about and want to protect their nationOne of the most naive things I've ever heard. Like, holy shit. A good portion of people join the military because they don't have other (apparent) options.
>>77698371Worm is the story equivalent of hardtack
>>77698501>Not historically.Ah, yes, because drafting and conscription weren't things since forever ago, where you had to serve in wars you didn't care about because you were obligated to for living on the land of your lord.
>>77698462>Usually most people who are enlisted aren't there for cash, they're there because they care about and want to protect their nation, they're a part of something bigger than themselves. People are more than willing to throw their lives away for their people and nationkek. You actually believe that? Maybe in a country currently under extreme foreign threat, but in most countries they do it for the money, because they have no other education or qualification. In some shithole countries they do it even for free healthcare and free education. Some even dream of being hurt in combat, retiring early with benefits
>>77698462So i really agree with you criticizing worm, cause it deserves that and worse, but holy fuck what reality do you live in that makes you believe that is the case in most modern militaries.
>>77692716If you can stand YA fiction, they are some of my favorites from my school days. The author is Scott Westerfield.>>77693007You are welcome.
>>77698501Uh, how fucking retarded are you? Because historically, a lot of people were press-ganged or otherwise forced into the armies. Ever heard of piracy? That was one of the main causes. That's also not considering that, before the gun was invented, fighting was quite a bit less lethal. Armies didn't fight down to the man like in your vidya, and retreats were common.
>>77698049No. Because “masochistic” and “lesbian” seem to be, at least among authors, to be mutually exclusive. Either she’s a lesbian, in which case she’s usually the dom (if there’s any sort of that thing) or she’s the masochist, but the dom is a dude with a gigantic dick (usually the author insert)
>>77698501>Not historicallyIt's even sadder that you believe that. I think it's fair to say that most militaries historically were full of paid mercenaries, forced conscriptions and people who were in it only for the money and the privilages. There's a reason people in the military are called "soldiers">The word soldier derives from the Middle English word soudeour, from Old French soudeer or soudeour, meaning mercenary, from soudee, meaning shilling's worth or wage, from sou or soud, shilling. The word is also related to the Medieval Latin soldarius, meaning soldier (literally, "one having pay"). These words ultimately derive from the Late Latin word solidus, referring to an Ancient Roman coin used in the Byzantine Empire.
>>77698462Yeah, dude, armies aren't really a point in favor of "people will be heroes", considering all the war rape and other shit soldiers have pulled throughout history. It's like like every military in the world was suddenly disbanded the moment an atrocity came to light. Soldiers are trained killers. Half the point of boot camp is about removing your instinctive reflex to not kill your fellow man.
>>77698462Ah yes, the Totally Consensual and Chivalrous Picnic of Nanking. I remember it well.

Can y'all shut the fuck up? I said something stupid, I get it, damn
>>77697978No? The PRT didn't know about Sophia's behaviour since Taylor didn't tell anybody until after she was sent to the principal for punching Emma. And afterwards the PRT did notice what was happening and Sophia was banned from track as well as limited in her activities as a ward. That's why Sophia is so pissed at Taylor afterwards and assaults her.

Hello, I am Heavens and I occasionally make jumps when I'm not posting about my dumb SI fanfiction that I can't stay committed to longer than OOOH, SHINY COIN ON FLOORI'm doing a few things RL that are going to take up my attention, but here's where I am on jumps right now.>Converting Madoka Wraith to Madoka Original Series. This is the easiest update of the bunch since it doesn't involve a lot of new mechanics and is mostly adding or changing up some of the older perks. Witch background will either be in this update or a later one, but the meat of it should be jumpable soon-ish. My mouse was dropped and it keeps double-clicking at random which has been a handicap for jumpmaking lately, so I've had to get acquainted with keyboard shortcuts. I miss when copy and paste took half a second.>Next jump I make will be Tales of Symphonia, which will be parallel to a quality of life update for its sort-of-sequel Tales of Phantasia. Please do not dual wield Eternal Swords that's cheating.Afterwards, I'm not sure if I want to make more new stuff or continue the update train.Suggestions for those jumps or questions are welcome, as long as they don't involve waifus or time travel.

>>77698354>Pact>do people just not care?Yes. You know how Worm is a miserable, grimdark setting? Pact is about 10x worse.
>>77699351Yet you responded to meso clearly you still care
>>77699357>grimdarkNo it isn't. Worm and Ward have endings that are far happier and more optimistic than grimdark settings are allowed.
>>77699357Big.Mommy.Bloodies.
>>77698354I gave it a look. He tripled the amount of sad, miserable, snarky teens. And the story isn't about angels, demons or gods i.e. the things that were vaguely interesting by the end of Pact but solely on human misery and regular Others being little shits. So no, I don't care enough to keep up with Pale when it doesn't even offer anything new I should know about the jump. It's just the same old>magic bad>people bad>Others bad>everything keels over like a bitch to Murphy's LawThe only thing you need to know about Pale is that if you bought the leashed demon in the jump or became a priest to a god, you can spank everyone in it raw.
>>77699142No argument there. >>77699326Even if you are superhuman is there any point to doing that when you could instead have magic in one hand and blade in the other?
>>77699426I mean, if it's a magic sword, it might possess more powerful effects than you are personally capable of achieving. And a lot of systems can probably just use the sword as a focus, anyway, especially if you import it into one of the settings where that's a thing.
>>77699357Also has Deedee and thus the potential for your own personal version. This kills the grimdark and creates the superior grim romance.
So how do you make these shithole settings better when they seem to actively resist change?
>>77699420Why does he write such misery porn, assuming that you are not exaggerating?
>>77699538Because Wildbow recognizes that life is shit and meant to end in suffering. That's why his works are genius. I wouldn't be surprised if Gen Urobuchi were to adapt Wildbow's novels to animated forms at some point.

Even if you're taking things easy or sticking to a theme, you are likely more capable than a lot of the others present, and you're not at the mercy of destiny or bad writing (that isn't your own). Also, the one writing the story is you, not the original authors. If you want a setting to be less terrible then make it so. Whether you just want it to be more idealistic and better than when you found it or a new dominion of yours you crush under your heel, you have the ability to do it.Dunk on an Endbringer using the Chaos Emeralds. >>77700995>Husbandos and parallel universesI do wish we had a Mario 64 jump
>>77700834>a strange goat monster in a strange land "saves" you in your time of distress>from another strange monster who assaulted you>after trying to fool you with its cute and unassuming appearance>lives in the ruins>takes you to her home without your input and makes you live there>possibly intimidates all the other monsters along the way>forces itself into a guardian role over you and dictates your life schedule>forces you back to her house if you try to leave it>instantly prepares a "curriculum" to "educate" you>has a sock drawer>destroys the only exit to "protect" you>tells a skeletal monster to keep an eye on you for herWas Toriel meant to come off this creepy?
>>77700349I do like Link To the Past as it was my first Zelda game. But Link Between Worlds has some great perks.
>>77701267Kinda. Undertale loves to pull bait and switches, so Toby knew that after Flowey you'd be on edge and most likely not really trusting of yet another mysterious creature acting all friendly. She's not really creepy once you get to know her, though, and by then the bait and switch has already been pulled off
>>77701267>>77701331Toriel isn't quite right in the head during the opening bits of the game, but her motives are understandable considering she has lost both her own son, her adopted human child, and had failed to stop all the previous children who arrived in the Underground from dying, who her ex is killing to take their souls. The controlling behavior is her trying very hard to avoid that again and overcompensating, only coming around at the end of her boss fight if you spare her. It's meant to come off as off-putting enough that you're still motivated to escape except like 95% of folks who played the game saw it all as endearing probably because the past few generations haven't exactly experienced stellar parenting 9/10 of the time.
>>77701331Anon, irregardless of the bait and switch everything she does beyond saving Flowey is completely fucking creepy.
>>77697677Can I still be a Sea God if I take the 600cp purchase, just a really fucking beeg and old one?
>>77701429>saving Flowey*saving you from
>>77701429Well, taken on it's own, yes, but keep in mind she feels if she doesn't keep you there you'll literally be murdered. It's quite understandable she wouldn't want to let a literal child go into a cave filled with monsters that want to kill them to take their soul
>>77701423>Tfw the family unit has been so wrecked people would rather live with a goat monster in a cave than with their own parents
>>77701472That's still creepy as fuck
>>77701267>has a sock drawerHow does that make her creepy?
>>77701423true a controlling but caring parent is better than a shit one that lets you do what you want
>>77701423>spoilerI'd "blame" living somewhere you don't have to worry about random little girls coming over to ask you for help in the middle of the streets and taking you to a back alley to be mugged or kidnapped. Hell they probably actually had great parenting to be that trusting.
Reminder that Sans would have straight up murdered you if Toriel hadn't told him not to
>>77701267Just wait until you see the AU version.
>>77701610But I'm an Almighty pacifist, anon.
>>77701304Link Between Worlds has that opposite companion option. I wonder what the counterpart of Rogue (best of marvel), Supergirl, Power Girl and Wonder Woman would be like. Or the opposite of Aqua, Darkness and Megameme just to troll her.
>>77701537>he probably has a sock drawerI always knew you were one of those scandalous fucks.
>>77699901>There’s even moreI’ll take any suggestions you’ve got anon. You want double-size item trees? I think you forgot to give Leaf Nin a 200 CP item and Cloud Nin’s 400 alludes to a sex dungeon that isn’t included.>Include HinataDone!
>>77701610This confuses me, the kids were killed by Asgore, why does Sans take an interest in you/Frisk personally?....It's an anomaly thing isn't it?
>>77701707What kind of pure thing are you working on?
>>77701728I think the kids were killed by various monsters, which is why you find their equipment strewn all about the place. Their items (frying pan, tutu, etc.) Are marking where they died
>>77701782I thought it was because they were thrown away imo
>>77696892
>>77701707Something you should keep in mind is the BBC perks should be worded in a way that isn't black exclusive. Not because of sensibilities or anything like that, but because the jump document should allow you to purchase across origins in a way that makes sense.
>>77701829Masterfully done.
>>77701728Maybe to prevent Asgore from gaining the final soul and going double omnipotent.
>>77701644pacifist?
>>77701875Why would he care about that? Most of the monsters are pretty hyped to get out of the cave, including him
>>77701728He doesn't. They just have orders to kill/capture any humans iirc? And if Toriel hadn't told him not to, he would've just done that (lazily, but still).
>>77696892Blem>Nearl
>>77701865Noted. I think there should also be a drawback toggle to flip the skin tones around, like how Victim Girls has the Victim Boys toggle. Call it Mighty Whitey or something, or just let Cloud Nins be nonblack for a small CP fee or something.
>>77701925>lazily>He just throws one bone and calls it a day
>>77701912Sans stopped caring about reaching the surface a few loops ago when he realized everything could just be reset on a whim. He thinks all of his actions are completely pointless and has enough of an idea of SAVE/LOAD that some entity is messing with the timelines, but doesn't know he's in a video game like Flowey does. One reason he spares Frisk is because Toriel asked him, but he's also secretly hoping befriending you will make you stop messing with the world constantly. While he's very much distrustful of humans and even Frisk themselves, he does warm up a bit on routes you're a Pacifist and appreciates it when you don't murder his brother, which is the primary way to get on his bad side fast. The only reason he's the final boss of the Genocide route is because he sees everything being permanently destroyed/corrupted at the end and is trying to make the player ragequit into giving up and resetting things back to normal. If you reset after the True Pacifist ending, he still has the group photo from the end of it in his lab. There's also some vague hints Papyrus might know more than he lets on too, but is a lot more optimistic about things in general.
>>77701911So who would be the jews in the context of bleach? the Zero Division with the shinigami being the goym?
>>77701952Not Bleached or BWC?
>>77701707The original inspiration was these two storylines on bearchive, one named roed to hokage or something equally grammatically fucked, and the other was just big black cock. The first was just over the top with blackness because it had kushina get brainwashed during the kumo kidnapping and thus launch a massive societal shift towards bbc, while the later had mindfuck/retcon powers by infecting people with blackness. That's the dumb op shit which doesn't really fit, not even by naruto's biggaton standards. If you wanted to put it in, I guess you could give the girls something based on Kaguya in response since the jump is technically focused on Hinata and Kaguya has the Byakugan? Maybe make the mind fuck and 'fuck your mindfuck i'm a goddess' as 800 cp perks? The 200 cp item was supposed to be sex toys with some kind of memetic effect (i don't even remember what that's supposed to mean) but I thought it was kinda uninspired so i dropped it, while the original 400 was diplomatic papers that let you fuck off to wherever, be that a beach to go on vacation or kumo to get laid and that might make a decent replacement?I'd kinda meant for there to be a white guy/naruto origin, but I didn't have any ideas for that and while I can see the blacked stuff appealing to your uberchad tendencies, I don't think you'd want to add something about being on the wrong end of that.
>>77702002>If you reset after the True Pacifist endingNow how could anyone do that? Flowey even asks you not to
>>77696892I'm not PA anon, but after what that one guy did I decided top help someSorry if its a little scuffed, I don't have Photoshop
>>77702049Because it's there. Not because of a need for good or evil, but because they can. And because they can, they have to.I personally had no stomach for playing again after finishing the game. I liked the experience, the True Pacifist ending was a satisfying one, and I'm happy my own little timeline of Undertale ended on a good note.
>>77702074I just beat the game a few days ago, and I feel the same way. I definitely don't wanna go back after the heartfelt plea Flowey gave
>>77702002>SpoilerWait what? First I ever heard that.

>>77701707Smut, notice me pls. >>77701769
>>77702074My "canon" Undertale ending is one where I kill literally everyone but Toriel, Papyrus (and Sans), and Undyne. Mostly because of the cringe shit the Undertale fandom does around people playing the game for the first time and the pussy ass shit the jump did for the Genocide route.
>>77702002>If you reset after the True Pacifist ending, he still has the group photo from the end of it in his lab.Different anon here, but I thought the group photo was meant more to represent the implied time he was a scientist or something, not leftovers of an undone future. Been quite a while since I played, though, maybe am misremembering. But I seem to remember seeing the photo before I ever beat the game. (I pretty much stopped playing after beating true pacifist anyways)Also, what hints re spoiler?

>>77702114There's honestly not much to that theory beyond Papyrus' proximity to Sans and the fact he complains about him apparently "messing with the fabric of space and time" constantly with the same tone as someone who keeps leaving their garbage on the floor, so he might know SOMETHING even if it's just his brother being a secret science weirdo. He also points out he feels like things have happened before if you reload in his segment, which he complains to Sans about. Then again, some monsters feel deja vu if you reload to an earlier segment so it might not be unique to him. I just think it's a neat idea that I don't have any undeniable evidence for.Papyrus reaching out to you right before his "boss fight" in the Genocide route really does feel more directed at the player than the human. He admits he's terrified the entire time that's happening, too.>>77702144Yeah, I think Papyrus is a lot more effective at aborting Genocide runs than his brother, just because Papyrus isn't presenting some kind of unique boss challenge beyond making you hate yourself a few seconds after hitting Attack.>>77702168Good for you.>>77702173It's been a while so I honestly might be misremembering. But I know the photo changes after you get True Pacifist and then reset.>>77702188Wha?

>>77701769>>77702159What do you mean “pure” things? >>77702217>Wha?Drawback that makes you enough to need things like "soul gems contain souls"
>>77702244You don't need to live in a vacuume, you just need to decide for yourself and think about whether its really worth letting a bunch of retards live rent free in your head rather than enjoying things for yourself on their own merit.Don't let other people dictate how you enjoy things, only NPCs do that

These are blueprints for mass-producing an army of featureless androids with very basic AI. Their true power comes from the one commanding them, however...once synchronized to a commander (presumably you) they will transform to match you in body and DNA, becoming an army with your own abilities spread among them. Even better, if you have some way to synchronize them to a larger database, they can change into any existing DNA within said database. Considering all you have seen up to this point, you can see why such an army would be fearsome and able to conquer the universe, no? >>77702957Honestly? It's just Demiurge. Demiurge is literally the only real problem within Nazarick. Albedo is too occupied trying to jump Ainz's bones to really give a shit about the humans and while NPCs like Shalltear are extremely hostile to humans they're more hostile in the sense that they have zero concern for their existence and will kill them indiscriminately if they become annoying. What jumps have tech that is superior or advantageous in 40k?
