Man, actually rewatching ghost in the shell makes the jump's Full Cyberization item leaving your respiratory system intact even more annoyingThere was a literal episode dedicated to this one dude who just kinda abandoned his body to live as a braincase, making movies for whoever jacks into his braincase, and the people who jacked in just straight up abandon their bodies to live in his theatre. The setting's tech is literally at the point of allowing people to transfer their Ghosts entirely to new bodies, albeit just barely at that level, with transfer shaving a significant mortality risk... Anyways, is it immoral to put my brain in a Tachikoma's body, seeing as how the Tachikoma's bodies are all remotely piloted by AIs in a server elsewhere?

So the Student tree is getting not one but several harem perks to compensate for how underwhelming the originals were. Here's the rework for Tripping on the Red String for those interested:Tripping on The Red String [200] – Love at first sight is often a fleeting thing that only lasts so long, yet the memories of that moment can stick with someone their entire life. So how do you keep inspiring those moments in others? You will find that when you interact with others for a long period of time, they open up more easily to you and you learn more about them and their emotions in just a few days. What’s more, opportunities to bond with them as friends or even love towards you spring up with more and more frequency in these moments the longer you’re around them, sometimes not even requiring much input on your part. Indeed, so long as you never harm them or experience a falling out, it would be trivial to go from strangers to lovers in a matter of days or weeks. Those who are normally closed off or antagonistic to others may take longer, and those who already despise you may be impossible to reach with this alone, but you will find the hearts of others will pour out to you given enough time.

When it comes to magic, you’re the same way - even if you’re cursed with a total lack of talent in magic or even a tiny handful of magical circuits, you know how to get the best result out of it sheerly through efficiency that defies all expectations. To put it more simply, a single drop’ of prana can generate a result that would normally require one-hundred, greatly enhancing simple spells and letting you easily pay for more expensive ones without draining your body completely. This doesn’t change what a human body can safely output, but when you have reserves to spare and destructive power to give weight to even the simplest spells and curses, what can stop you? When Elru was destroyed by the World Serpent in its attack on the World Tree this item, a World Class item, was all that remained. Magic users that wear this ring will find that the potency of all of their magics has been doubled, and that the cost for casting those magics has been halved. Additionally it provides protection against all mind controlling effects or compulsions as well as instant-death effects, negative status effects, and scrying effects, trumping even other World Class items that have such powers. >>These things are all well and good, but the true power of the ring and the reason the God-King of Elru wore it lies in its last two abilities. The first is that three times per day the person that wears it may cast any spell, ritual, or magic they know that requires material components, or that drains ‘experience’ or ‘lifeforce’, or indeed any other requirement... instantly and for free. The second is that the Ring itself may be used to create as many Yggdrasil Gold Coins as theuser desires, seemingly creating them out of nothing and appearing at any designated point (or in the users inventory if they have one and desire that), however they can only create about a million coins a second. The ring itself is made of orihalcum with seven bands that run along it, each one made of one of the seven prismatic ores such as Scarlet Gold or Living Blue Soul. It is soulbound to its wearer and cannot be stolen, given away, destroyed, or lost by any method short of death. Additionally it is utterly unique, and it cannot be copied or duplicated in any way whatsoever using in-jump methods.

They were improved in a later update, and while I'm not sure exactly why that was it might have been due to World Items being much more expensive than Divine Equipment despite not giving the parameter bonuses that DE gives and the DE option being a full set instead of a single item. Instead of lowering the price though, they were made even stronger, although to be fair the Ring of Elru was the best World Item by far from what I remember, the others probably needed the upgrade more.

>>76956297>but also comes with several powers when they rarely have two.Supposedly the World Item Ainz usally has on him has several different strong power. But he never uses it, because even using it once would cost him five levels, unlike the Jump world items that only offer benefits.
>>76956314Pretty sure the others were actually nerfed a little. They’re all OC regardless, should have just offered copies of the canon ones.
>>76956331Better question: who takes the place of Homura?
>>76956297Thats why like to give it to jumpers with a warior build and not a single class capable of magic.
Good jumps for becoming Emperor of China and claiming the Mandate of Heaven?
>>76956314>But yeah, the World Items ended up a bit weird. They, like quite a bit of the jump, are just arbitrary OC crap the author wanted. No surprise it’s a little jank when you take a sec to actually think about it.
Now that replacement jumps are permissable when is Overlord getting replaced?
>>76956424Duplicates, dipshit. And probably not since anyone that cares for the setting probably enjoys the poorly balanced OC.
>>76956388All the Paradox folder jumps, Total War, any jump with Earth up to 2000 years ago, Chinese Warlord CYOA.
>>76956314He really should've just gone for an open-ended World Item option instead of trying to brainstorm new ones. The OC World Items are one of the worst aspects of the jump because they're a horrible combination of extremely boring and incredibly overpowered because they basically just arbitrarily waive a number of things that limit your abilities. They come across less as unique, incredibly powerful artifacts with abilities that you have to leverage properly to make use of and more as wearable cheat codes that turns on God Mode.
>>76956388I mean, it's not that good, but the only one I know that fits is reddit's Chinese Mythology Jump.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eRBvUyZp0J0guBg9Lh-tjjd0DNjNQ7eP/view
>>76956395I can see wanting to put a few OC World Items in the jump given the threat of Downfall of Castle and Country, but the way items and equipment ended up... I don't know.
>>76956424Whenever you make it. So, never. Never because retards like you who farm for (You)'s, which I am applying out of pity, don't ever make anything.
>>76955427I was gonna suggest End to Strife because I have poor reading comprehension and missed that you asked about Arcane spellsAnyways, Magic Missile. Autohit spells are wonderful in settings where people dodge like crazy
>>76956344Wasn't the weapon invulnerability of the armlets something added later?Given how treasured and unique World Items are, I can understand placing a few new ones that wouldn't cause questions from the major powers that hold the originals, but it'd have been nice to have the option to pick a canon one too.
>>76956539There were ways to turn Divine spells into Arcane ones iirc, right?Even if it's not the thing normal wizards can use, it's not unwelcome either, thanks.
>>76956388Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
>>76956612There's a couple dragons that can cast some divine spells as arcane, and I think there was a prestige class that could do that too?
>>76955427Forcecage. Shounen protagonists aren't allowed to have teleportation (because it's too convenient of a power and would derail the entire story) and the extent of their magic tends to be shooting Oddly Shaped Spirit Beam #7918. None of which would do shit against a Forcecage. It has no saving throw which means that they can't avoid it; it's activated at the speed of thought and takes effect instantaneously. It's a Force effect which means it's absolutely indestructible. And it has a duration of hours/level which means that they're going to be in there for a long ass time.
>>76956124>>76956167Do we have something less...?>>76956344Tbf, we don't know some of them. And some are very bullshit.>>76956497I think you're into something.
>>76956643Anti-magic?
What canon chapters of space marines would be best to take in the Astartes jump? The ones with big fleets such as the Ultramarines, the Black Templars, or Imperial fists seem obvious but they also seem too obvious.
>>76953689Nah, they're monsters as anyone else is. Holding back will still be very difficult and the best way is probably either leaving the group or working on long term missions for them.
>>76956663Marines Malevolent are by far the goodest of Marines.
>>76953853You are cute
>>76956657The Forcecage spell has Spell Resistance: No because it doesn't directly target the individual in question and Antimagic Field doesn't dispel an existing Forcecage because it directly calls back to and function in the same way as a Wall of Force. This means that antimagic, at least from the perspective of D&D, doesn't affect a Forcecage.
>>76956663It depends, what do you value in a space marine chapter? Do you want sheer might? Individual ability? Do you care about chapter culture? If so what do you want in a chapter culture?
>>76956663I am a little bit biased because I just got done painting some but the Exorcists remain my favourite chapter. Their ritual possession and exorcism makes them effectively invisible to daemons and inflict hideously skewed casualties on Chaos. Plus you get very, very close Inquisition ties which is always useful in jump.
>>76956663The Blood Angels have some glaring downsides (The Black Rage and Red Thirst) but you maintain ties with basically all your successors and can mobilize into borderline Legion strength if need be. The Blood Angels are also pretty self-sufficient and are massively famous in the Imperium, and in a good way. They also have some of the best wargear, surpassing some of the better stuff that even other formerly legion Chapters have. You also have guilt free cannon fodder in the form of those afflicted with the Rage. ...You also get the best Primarch who may or may not show up in golden ghost for to bail you outta bad shit.
>>76956663Blud Magpoos seem to be very resourceful.
>>76956722>It depends, what do you value in a space marine chapter? Do you want sheer might? Individual ability?I guess I'd prefer something in the middle of that, a powerful chapter with a solid number of elite "named character" marines. Doesn't need to be one with the most overall power or the most strong named characters (if so Ultramarines would be automatic) but solid on both. As far as chapter culture a lot of them are really cool, unless it's absolutely horrible like>>76956681 or really boring anything is fine.
>>76956750>>76956663I will say that just about any of the original chapters, Ultramarines, Blood Angels, Fists, Etc except for Space Wolves, all have a lot more resources and clout than any successor chapter. They've been around the longest, they have chapters that are more or less beholden to them. They have easy access to gene seed whereas many successor chapters struggle to keep their numbers up and suffer issues and mutations due to lack of gene seed. They have relics, they have gear, they tend to control major systems and be well thought of by other imperial institutions. They are just frankly better if we go from the standpoint of pure logistics. Blood Angels and Ultramarines are the best for pure logistical might, with the Imperial Fists arguably coming in third.
>>76956757The magpies are awesome but we might be able to get them in a Dawn of War jump should we ever get one. Could potentially even get their meme level thievery abilities along with them.
>>76956199Retardedly OP custom spells in Morroblivion. They can literally cost like tens of thousands of Mana when the normal upper limit is 4 or 500
>>76956497>They come across less as unique, incredibly powerful artifacts with abilities that you have to leverage properly to make use of and more as wearable cheat codes that turns on God Mode.Isn't that the Point of World Items? Iirc World Itens were introduced as literal gamebreakers in terms of mechanics.
>>76956929>Dawn of War jumpWhy? It’d just be filled with half assed attempts to cover a dozen different factions at once when you could just use their specific jump.
>>769557420 Zone(Dragon Quest 9), Receive Hax(Epic Battle Flash), The Need for Big Booms(Konosuba), Spellbooks(Castle of Puzzles), and The Ring of Elru(Overlord) all allow casting spells for free
>>76956970Why would it not just focus on the Space Marines that are the stars on the story?
>>76956929If you want to get dirty...
>>76957046>has never played Dawn of WarWay to out yourself.
>>76956969That was the defence the SB guys liked to use but they and you are forgetting that there's a huge difference in world items. Most aren't gamebreakers in that they singlehandedly make you almost unstoppable and the ones that are are single use items. Almost all the ones we actually see are way more limited.
>>76956970Yeah why would anyone want a jump for a specific game when a general jump exists that doesn't even cover the plot, major twists, or offer any of the important items you can get in them?
>>76956969Honestly, the OC World Items seem a lot more like real top tier items you would find in an MMORPG rather than the bullshit of canon World Items that let you ask the developers to change the game.
>>76957063Fair enough. I'm not that familiar with Overlord.
>>76957058That doesn't have an option for taking the Blood Raven tho, also it's really fucking derpy. Is it from here?
>>76957058>Dawn_Of_War_CYOA.pdfWhat in the absolute fuck is that supposed to be.
>>76957078What I meant is a Dawn of a War jump would just feel like a lazy, half assed attempt to cover nine different factions at once and would likely be unsatisfying and low quality.
>76957062God you're a tiresome little shit.
>>76957062>>76957113
>>76956663Space sharks, cause the edge of the galaxy need to fuck off and you avoid all that lesser human drama bullshit in favor of absolutely horrific shit to constantly fight and lose brothers against. Always my choice.
>>76956804if you want a middling chapter, presumably something a bit more niche than the big names, with some named characters then there are a few options. Not a ton, but a few. Iron Snakes have some good named characters and are second founding so they've been around long enough to have build up a good bit and are pretty strong and relevant. Novamarines, also pretty good amount of notable marines, significant action, relatively important among minor chapters. The Raptors are a chapter a lot of people like and aren't a bad option at all, there's some good stuff there to work with. Silver Skulls have a good number of notable marines, decent chapter. The Brazen Claws are pretty cool actually. We've recently had them fleshed out a bit and they are at least not another ultramarine successor (you're going to notice there are a lot in this list, this is both because there are just a lot of ultramarine successors, and because they tend to get more writing and fluff than the successors of the other legions) The Mentors are awesome and have been around a long time so there is a lot to work with there. Excoriators, they are pretty fleshed out. Last, but in no way least cause this is the best on the list in my opinion, Steel Confessors. They are baller. Their lore is baller and how they came to be is baller.
>>76957106>Nine factionsIt's a game literally about Space Marines stomping the crap out of everything in their path.
>>76957113Dude Dawn of War (the first game) has campaigns for most of the factions and multiple expansion packs. It’s not a case of Space Marines eclipsing every other faction.
>>76957145Which is why they lost the Kaurava campaign.
>>76957145Blood Ravens got absolutely pasted in Soulstorm anon, by Dawn of War 2 they are a lot weaker and then suffer their chapter master outing themselves as chaos.
>>76957145You know there is Dawn of War 1, with nine factions and multiple expansions, Dawn of War 2, which is probably what you’re thinking of, and 3 which no one talks about for good reason. Like, you legitimately don’t know what you’re talking about.
>>76957063They're not exactly wrong.>>76957095Oh yeah, Five Elements Overcoming, with it you can change the magic system. You ask the devs for it, they can refuse or accept, but IRL, there's no devs.

>>76957803The fuck is a Rich?
>>76957063>way more limitedEh, even the ones that aren't part of the Twenty still include things like mind controlling anyone even if they are immune to mind control, sealing armies away in pocket worlds, storing exp for later use or giving to others even if you shouldn't be able to get any more exp due to the level cap, or making invincible golems capable of beating top players like a World Champion. They may not be game breakers on the same level as Ahura Mazda, Longinus or Five Elements Overcoming, but they are game breakers nonetheless.
>>76957800Nice, reading now.
>>76957788But the jump isn’t for being a world boss.
>>76957855I disagree, especially given how many of those are single effects, not the multiple powerful things the jump has. The mind control is one target at a time, way more limited than you imply, and the EXP steal/store item is clearly fairly limited otherwise Ainz would be using it instead of complaining about exp wasting spells. Some of the other world items are just very powerful weapons. The things in the jump are not what we see in canon. We do not see world items that have multiple extremely powerful effects and the jump ones all have 3 or more. Not even getting into how the immunity stuff gets wanked too high.

Rolled 1, 5, 6 = 12 (3d6)>>76957693>dragon slaying ie: shivering touchOuch, I'm looking it up right now and 3d6 Dex damage sounds nasty for a creature that only has 10 Dex even as a Great Wyrm. What did Dex 0 do, paralysis? The main problem I see is that it requires you to touch said dragon, and placing a squishy spellcaster so close to a colossal dragon seems dangerous.
>>76957964Just because someone has issues with your favourite jump, doesn't make them 'so bitter' anon.
>>76957800Oooh, those are tasty looking perks...once again, excitement grows further.
>>76957941Honestly none of those or the other items so far seem on par with total physical invulnerability. Like I don't get how people don't find that one the weirdest of all, even compared to the Ring.
>>76957915If you managed to get it approved through the proper mechanicus channels they might go for it, but they' wonder why you wanted them to look fleshy.
>>76957803>that's not how it works in OotS and I think Rich would know betterThen he's wrong.Per Wall of Force:>The wall cannot move, it is immune to damage of all kinds, and it is unaffected by most spells, including dispel magic. However, disintegrate immediately destroys it, as does a rod of cancellation, a sphere of annihilation, or a mage’s disjunction spell. These are the things which are capable of getting rid of a Forcecage. There's really no leeway here; Antimagic Field is nowhere on that list and Dispel Magic (which is also an Abjuration spell in the same category as Antimagic Field) explicitly does not work on it. An Antimagic Field would prevent you from manifesting a Forcecage inside of its boundaries like it would for any spell but it would not get rid of an existing Forcecage even if you moved the Antimagic Field into its radius.Like I said, there's really no argument here by RAW or even by RAI considering the fact that Dispel Magic also doesn't work on it. Antimagic Field does not affect an existing Wall of Force.
>>76958017>Ouch, I'm looking it up right now and 3d6 Dex damage sounds nasty for a creature that only has 10 Dex even as a Great Wyrm. >>76957136Huh. Nta anon but that both sounds and looks cool. Please tell me more?
>>76958000I like how you claim they're single effect while ignoring that the "single effect" is either ludicrous overkill on a huge area, or an effectively free-form effect that lets you do all sorts of different shit.
>>76958017spectral hand or archmage reach special ability that lets you cast touch spells at range. Pair that with a metamagic rod of maximize (least version, since shivering touch is only 3rd) and it's 18pts of guaranteed dex damage. That's enough to drop any dragon to instant paralysis at which point they can do nothing, and generally enough to either drop most other things or massively nerf their AC and reflex saves.
>>76957800>Jaeger>allows you to adapt to threadsThreats?
>>76958145I like how you ignore that the jump items also do these things but then do more on top. Is the Ring of Elru not also a free form effect that also lets you do ludicrous overkill on huge areas, plus loads of other stuff, and then gives you unlimited gold and then incredible stat multipliers? Yeah, those world items from canon, they're really matching up. So faithful.
>>76958036nta but I don't mind because all the world items are worded such that they're not absolute effects and are instead nigh-absolute. If you run into something that can overpower the strength of an entire world then that world item ain't gonna help you
>>76958174That sounds dishonorable.
>>76953028Are they meant to be some ancient group that has existed for centuries/millennia, or comparatively more recently formed, with name possibly deriving from, say, older meme humor or whatever?I mean, if the latter, maybe something like "Trogdor's Fan Club"? (because lots of burninating)Mythosbusters?Society for Creative Paranoia?
>>76958202Not really. The ring isn't supplying the effect, the wearer is. If the wearer isn't capable of casting really powerful magic already then the ring doesn't really help them. Making something free that you already know / can cast still requires you to know / be able to cast it first.
>>76958204That's good for you but it doesn't solve the problem that others are having, the people whose complaints you've been defending against, that these items don't fit canon. They might've in their first versions, though the problems with the broad immunities remain, but then they got arbitrary and massive buffs because of constant complaints on SB.
>>76957800Nice. Overall all the perks I'd be aiming for would be around 2200cp, maybe 2800cp if I aim for Jaeger. Fuck me. I suppose an OP build is going to be appropiately expensive.

Which went from a few techniques from the other Espada to as ridiculous as Mugetsu, apparently.
>>76958301What's the point of bringing up the twenty as examples for why the reusable jump world items aren't broken? Are you just an idiot that forgot that people already discussed that in this argument? Because you seem like an idiot who forgot that.
>>76958325...Bleach has novels?
>>76958000>In the New World, any individual who is equipped with a World Item will be immune to Wild Magic, particularly the True Dragon Lords who used it> Effects of a World Item can be resisted in only two ways: (1) Owning another World Item. (2) Getting special Job Classes. They do seem to have some immunity properties, but not as much as believed. Then again, the equipment of a player good enough to get their hands on one of those would probably cover those protections from non-World Item sources. The stat multipliers I have no idea, it'd make sense that World Items would be good stat wise for their type of equipment, but I don't know how the normal stats boosts work. Does a piece of Divine Equipment give static bonuses or multipliers, for example? As for the unique powers, at least some of those could be split into two different items without much issue. Although keep in mind that divine equipment can already give very strong abilities.
>>76958325Will there be a Soul King rock?
>>76958301>i must have missed where one of the world items in the jump lets you cast super-duper wish that can literally change how the world works as a whole. Not that Anon, but that is literally a option of an 200 CP Item id you use a greater wish that recharges every three months, or if you combine it with the Ring of Elru thrice a day. 200 CP - Shooting Star Ring - Hailed as the mightiest Pay2Win item of all, if perhaps also themost fickle. This simple looking ring, made of what appears to be some form of silver and withthree small stylized stars “shooting” across its surface, possesses the ability to makes its usersdreams come true. Each charge represents a single use of the Over-Rank spell Wish Upon AStar, nearly twice as powerful as the “normal” version of the spell. In Yggdrasil its mechanicswere different, but in the New World it effectively allows the user to warp reality to grant theirwish. When a charge is used the bearer of the ring is given an instinctive knowledge of what is andisn’t possible to wish for with the ring, failing only in the face of the effects of World Items orpowers of similar potency. However, if the user is willing to pay a price, they may have a GreaterWish granted. The limits of this Greater Wish are unknown, and normally the price would beterrible indeed (five levels per cast, in Yggdrasil parlance, even when using the ring)... howeveryou don’t need to worry about that, because you’re paying at a premium. An expended chargefor a “normal” Wish refreshes one month after use, or three months for a Greater Wish. You cantell how many charges are left by how many “stars” are still on the ring as expended charges willcause a star to disappear. This is also how you can tell when it has recharged, as the star willreappear when it is ready to be used again.

>>76958367That's regular wish anon. Super-duper wish is the Ouroboros world item, which in-canon let whoever had it petition to the GM's to literally change how the game works. The wish upon a star spell was nowhere even close to that, having a set limit of approximately 200 different outcomes that were randomly chosen when you cast it, and then you could select one of the random options that you rolled to be the effect that happens. The spell actually because more free-form in the new world (no random rolls stuff) but it's still nothing comparable to Ouroboros
Hey shardanon/battler and on can you elaborate on some things for me please?I get that it doesn't have to be a "formally recognized" martial art but can I have some benchmarks for what kind of things would/n't count? Also if we have martial arts skills from another jump can we have them be recognized as part of our skills with a legend of your own or would it only work for martial arts purchased in the jump? Also would the following work as martial arts styles under the current definition? >>76958364Yes, this is the issue with the immunity stuff. In canon, it's quite specific. But the jump makes you immune to what seems like half the status effects possible. My problem with status effects is that there's no reason or evidence that they actually give them. Every WI giving you a multiplier to a stat has never been in canon. It's not some default part of these items.Divine equipment doesn't give powers on the level of the stuff in the jump and neither do most world items, not all at once. Before their crazy huge buff because of powergrab whiners, the world items fit better. The immunities were too broad and the stat multipliers didn't fit but they all had one main unique power and it made sense compared to other WI equipment we saw.
>>76954512I'd like to second the adorableness of that pic.
>>76958359If you haven't read the novels then you're missing like half of the story and an absolutely colossal amount of background setting information.
>>76958379one power that can be used to do almost anything. That's like saying that eidolon from Worm has only one power, which is technically true but completely misrepresents the actual effect of his power.
>>76958000Ainz's item has several effects and also enhances him. It includes one that basically guarantees that Nazarick won't fall as long as he has EXP in the WN it killed around half of the players in the 1500 men raid.
>>76958380Your other ones aren't actually impressive enough to really matter. Two of them are just what you can do with summoning spells or necromancy spells and a lot of mana potions. All they really do is make it quicker. The actual things they summon aren't that strong on their own. And the last one is too vague on how powerful it is to say.As opposed to 100% invincibility to physical attacks or infinitely scaling cast anything for free no matter the components.
>>76958460Effects that have costs he explains as losing him 5 levels to use. What do the world items in jump not have? Costs to use.
>>76958424Did you miss the part where I specifically refered to the greater wish option the item mentions and explicitly says that there isn't even a clear limit 9f what it can't do?
>>76958430wait, were you the guy that was complaining about the world items being too strong even back before the update? I vaguely recall a single anon being mad butthurt back then
>>76958460The jump was last updated before that came to light, funnily enough. So yeah they really are just busted as fuck with no justification.
>>76958453The only ones that can do almost anything in your list are the last one that has undefined power and the first two that are single use in return for it.
>>76958424>The spell actually because more free-form in the new world (no random rolls stuff)Iirc it also allowed you to do anything you wanted within the power of the wish or something like that, and it could be used to steal an Innate Talent despite those not existing in Yggdrasil
>>76957800>IkomikiBeing a million year old Hollow sounds real cool.
>>76958486No but you are clearly one of the ones bitching that they were too weak. I think that them being upgraded because people thought they were spending too much points, and that was the reason and not anything to do with not fitting canon, was stupid. These were changed for power grabbers, not for canon. You're just desperate to defend your golden gooses.
>>76958441I haven read them but remeber someone saying the novels shoiw that aizen was the good guy all along
>>76958470>infinitely scaling cast anything for free no matter the components.>if you could already cast it the normal wayI feel people forget that second part. And immunity to physical attacks is significant but not that big a deal, because it's not like you can't just burn those people down with magic.
>>76958485Which means nothing, because again it's clearly not the same thing. the shooting star ring is a canon item that we KNOW can't do anything about world items, we literally see one get used by Ainz and then fail to do anything when it went up against a WI tier effect. Ouroboros >>>>>>>>>>> shooting star ring. They're not the same thing.
>>76958480That's only the strongest one. >>76958488That appears already by vol 1. And the anti-dragon effect came by vol 11, which was the last vol that he updated before leaving.
>>76958499so calling up unlimited hordes of demons which can then use their abilities on your behalf is "just one thing"? Or reviving everyone that gets killed as your undead slaves, which have full access to everything they did in life, is "just one thing"? Is it impossible for you to understand that the things that get called up can do things for you?
>>769583595 or 6. Only the last one is super important since it's pretty much the post story/sequel story to Bleach and has a tonne of lore they couldn't fit into the last arc. The others range from showing off cool characters from the past or expanding on ones we didn't see more of (Sszayel's past as the original Cero Espada, as an example, and why he has a brother. He split himself and his personality like Starrk did). One or two of them are just fluffy books though. I think the second one is just a cute story about Rukia trying to make lunch for her brother and asking people what he might like, in the days after the SS arc.>>76958366The one he's sealed in? Uh, no I guess? It hadn't really come to mind.>>76958521Sorta?
>>76958516honestly it doesn't matter what you say or think because the jump isn't going anywhere. You're bitching for no reason, and we all know it.
>>76958521To be fair, the manga does too.
>>76954512Speaking of Dungeon Anon, does anyone know if there's any word about when the update will be done?
>>76958562How do you not understand that these are single effects? They can have a lot of uses but they're still individual powers. The jump items have multiple different powers that can all be used for many things. You're so fucking desperate to defend this, you just completely abandon all sense of reason.
>>76958576Says the one who turned this into an argument that lasted this long, compared to leaving complaints he thinks don't matter alone. Clearly you care a great deal.
>>76958578Ainz is pretty based.
Since we were recently talking about Dies Irae, had a thought/question: Could it basically be described as a xianxia based on Jewish mysticism as interpreted through Japanese culture?
>>76958525People forget because basically anyone who does the jump and buys that item will have that second part. Almost every build gets either level 100 or 42nd Ainz Ooal Gown member. And if you have that, ninth level casting is either a free pick or only costs 100/50 to get. And no one's going to be buying the caster focused super item if they're not a caster. So it's a bit of a pointless defence. Anyone who has it will have the ability to cast with it. Otherwise they'd not buy it or get one of the other items that is more useful for them.
>>76958441There are fucking novels? Is that why shit makes no fucking sense?
>>76958604He's the defence force sent over from SB. Probably the same one that chased Brellin off over time too.
>>76958645It doesn't make no sense but the novels do help. That guy exaggerates how much they matter to the setting.
>>76958470>As opposed to 100% invincibility to physical attacksThe virgin Overlord World Item vs the chad Rance Dark Lord Invincibility Field.

>>76958614Aizen*Damn ketchup names.
>>76958678>Based Raping Manchad>virginOkay, cuckold. Whatever you say. How's Tyrone treat your wife lately?
>>76958430The WI should be good equipment for their type, but the fact is that afaik we don't know how normal equipment of their type works, so the attribute multipliers end up being weird.Perhaps, Shooting Star is a thing but it was a gacha consumable. Ainz getting immunity to time stops, divination and a bunch of other things from his rings and Shalltear's Spuit Lance are probably better comparisons.Normal World Items can still have very strong abilities surpassing 10th and Super tier magic, but the best option probably would have been removing some extra features and reducing their cost instead of adding even more to justify the price. WIs may be great, but costing twice as much as a customized full set of divine class equipment is somewhat absurd.
>>76958614Based on what?
>>76958614>the world of Bleach is a stagnant shithole and the Shinigami have maintained this status quo without even trying to improve things for millennia>Aizen refuses to accept how things are and fights against the entire world and destiny itself in order to change it for the better no matter the cost to himself and even if everyone around him says that it's impossible>if it's impossible then Aizen will surpass the boundaries of reason and become an impossibility so that he can make the world a better place>that moment when you realize Aizen was actually a Shounen protagonist all along
>>76958665Not invincible enough, here comes the true chad invincibility field.
>>76958734Just drag Ludo and Planner along with you and force them to subject every world you go to to the leveling system.
>>76958763The best option would have been to ignore the people angry that the ultra powerful best items in the setting cost a lot to gain. I'd agree if the items weren't already boosted beyond canon even before the buff that made them what they are currently. Not that Divine Equipment isn't hilariously overpowered with the bullshit Brellin made equipment work, where it somehow gives equally amazing boosts to every class you have. Classes only costing 100cp, 50 for discounts, and so you could easily get the equivalent of 4 or 5 sets of divine equipment at once. They don't stack but they sure do give every class you have the same level of boost. The way classes work is the real problem in that jump, all only stacking and never having any sort of balance.
>>76958786How do I befriend Aizen?
>>76958564>The one he's sealed in? Uh, no I guess? It hadn't really come to mind.I think he means wish granting rock but I can be wrong. Will there be wish granting rock in jump to buy?
>>76958786Yeah but he also stabs little girls for fun. There was literally nothing to be gained and only things to be lost by stabbing Hinamori but he still did it. He's outright addicted to causing misery in others.
>>76958811>WomanWe all know how that goes.
>>76958855>but he also stabs little girls for funThat's the most chad thing you can do.

>>76958725Hey Val, I just remembered a thing existed. Can you include a leek in the item section? Just to reference ancient memes.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wnE4vF9CQ4...Man, has it actually been 17 years since Bleach first came out? Crazy...
>>76958763Ainz says that Albedo's weapon is weaker than a Divine Item when used as a Halberd instead of an anti-structure item.
>>76958865It's more based if he rapes them before stabbing tho
>>76958882Well, not a leek exactly but there's something that would include it.
>>76958641Hey, dont ignore me! >>76956386
>>76958648this seems like the perfect excuse to post pic related
>>76958861demon lords are made to be fucked
>>76958855To be fair, Hinamori was creepily obsessed with Aizen. Like way beyond even the loyalty a normal subordinate would have. She was bordering on being a yandere. He didn't even kill her, something that he easily could have done. In fact, Aizen didn't really kill anybody. He could've easily killed Komamura during the Soul Society arc. He also could've killed like half of the Captains of Seireitei when he attacked Karakura Town since he bodied like six of them in one panel despite them being in Bankai and he wasn't even in Shikai.
>>76958915One guy compared to dozens of others isn't much of an exception.
>>76958866She has several bounded fields stacked that make her invulnerable which only Shuten seemed to be able to penetrate.
Can I put Manses acquired from the Exalted The Infernals jump into the The Inner World perk?... Also I know absolutely nothing about Exalted, is it one of those settings where normal people'll die if they wander into magic areas too long?
>>76957800You planning on adding any restrictions for what our Hollow form can look like?
>>76958928BASED.This community has been turning to shit. Might be time to accept some SB knowledge.
>>76958933>and he wasn't even in Shikai. He was using it actually, he only needs to have you see his release once for him to be able to use it on you whenever.
>>76958933...how does that make it fair to stab her? Also most of the captains didn't use Bankai in that battle at all much less all be in it at once. Also how would he cause pain and suffering if he just killed people outright.Aizen also absolutely killed people. Gin, for instance. Central 46. Hundreds or thousands of people in Rukongai for his stone.
Would it be possible to merge Hellsing familiars with Solo Leveling shadow soldiers in some manner?
>>76958966>Can I put Manses acquired from the Exalted The Infernals jump into the The Inner World perk?Probably, since forming your own manses in your inner world is something that can potentially happen.>... >>76958822>that the ultra powerful best items in the setting cost a lot to gainThey don't really though, like sure they theoratically cost 800cp, but everyone gets a floating discount on an item and an item stipend of 200 CP. So in the end msot people get these game breaking items for 200 CP
>>76958980Power merging perk, bro.
>>76958982>Die, no. Mutate, sometimes.Ah. Well, that's going to be a bit annoying. Gonna have to pick up an anti-mutation perk then. Thanks dude
>>76958521>First appearance in the novel is just stopping the guys moving his chair just to fuck with HisagiEeehh
>we never get to see Aizen's Bankai>we never even see the powers of Ichigo's true Bankai
>>76958980Maybe? Hellsing Familiars are stored in your soul somehow, while in Solo Leveling they seem to live in a weird dimension in the MC's shadow.
>>76958973For the most part Hollow stuff amounts to "Pick a general theme and as you get stronger as a hollow and evolve, you'll develop an appearance and powers that suit that theme", since that's how it generally works for Hollows. It's influenced by your personality and desires of course, like most powers in the series, but there'll be mostly free form there with some guides on what is possible. The only restriction I'm considering is having powers that are innately based around growth, like power stealing or Arturo's Reiryoku draining, cost a certain amount extra to attain. Just because that stuff is kinda better, while everything else is powerful based on your spirit levels.>>76958997Got it in one. Shun Shun Rikka's the human 800, since Orihime is apparently not a Fullbringer.
>>76959003That's not a point in their favour, both the items or the people complaining they cost too much.
>>76959027Aren't shadows and souls the same thing in Solo Leveling?
>>76959046It wasn't supposed to be.
>>76959021>Ichigo's true bankaiIs there really any mystery there? More raw stats, bigger Getsugas. Basically everything Ichigo gets is those two things.
>>76957314>>76957427Actually fuck it I'm going to give it another try, since my old computer died and my last WIP was shit I'm going to start over from scratch. Pear down the origins a bit to just those it would actually make a good deal of sense to have trying to claim a Space hulk for themselves. Objective, there is a space hulk with at least one readily salvageable human ship. You need to claim it in the name of the Imperium and/or your own self interest. OriginsRogue Trader, the lesser kind with a Letter of Marque instead of a warrant and pitiful resources by RT standards but still has the opportunity to own their own starships. Perks for being a space murder hobo/treasure hunter. Items fancy high quality wargear and/or xenotech. Inquisition: An acolyte to an inquisitor, tasked with reclaiming the ship(s) for their master with command of their new ship(s) as a reward for success. Has solid backing but might not want to think too hard about the penalty for failure or what the plan for you and the ship(s) might be long term. Perks for subterfuge and dealing with unconventional threats. Items weird and/or cool shit inquisitors like to use, like digiweapons. Mechanicus: You're a toaster fucker who gathered enough support and resources to claim your own ships to play with, assuming you can pry them from the grip of whatever is in the hulk. Perks for restoring and making use of old/advanced technology. Items advanced technology, might give unaugmented humans cancer.Space Marine: Your chapter needs ships and doesn't want to wait for new owns to be built, luckily there's a space hulk with at least one good one stuck in the side and who was the best group to be going into space hulks again? Best gear and dudes but also the fewest of them. Perks for being exceptionally good at killing things, being massive, killing things, military tactics, purging xenos, and killing things.Items space marine stuff, may cripple unagumented humans.cont.
>>76959028NTA but for the Hollow side of things I was thinking on cracking down on the regen even harder, rather than dropping it for moar raw power. Would that count as a Hollow power or is the fact that regen is already a basic ability make it invalid?
>>76959062But how BEEG do those raw stats and Getsugas have to be so that Yhwach would consider it an instant defeat on his part if allowed Ichigo to go Bankai?
>>76958000From the wiki>Ginnungagap can be used to destroy large areas. It is the most powerful World Item against physical objects, but it is not very useful against individual targets. >>76959128Ah, so there's precedent. That makes things easier.
>>76957902Why do you think he hesitate so much on using things?
>>76959098Sure, why not? There's no reason you can't focus in. Hollows are naturally strong but there are numerous hollows we see that just focus on that strength. Yammy, Ylfordt, Tesra, etc.Maybe you could take some sort of survival or endurance thing as the overall theme and combined with your preference for regeneration/keeping the regen, you'll see that regen developing into a much more powerful ability.>>76959100Who even knows. All I know is writing the Allmighty power out is going to be such a bleeding arsehole of a time.
>>76959112>I thought WI did protect you from WINta, but from what I understand his point is that they protect from WI but not other sources of the effect. Avarice and Generous would protect from Downfall of Castle and Country but not from the enchantment spells of a level 100 bard, for example.
>>76959062There is. Think about it. Yhwach was casually fighting and overwhelming the fully evolved Aizen who was much stronger than even when he fought post-Dangai Ichigo in the Deicide arc. The same Aizen who, with a portion of his spiritual power, crushed part of the Soul King's power and threatened to "drag down" the Soul Palace to crash into Seireitei. Aizen, whose abilities literally warp reality so that he adapts perpetually and becomes infinitely stronger on demand. That Aizen. Yhwach was beating his ass for a while even if Aizen put up a downright impressive showing against The Almighty. The same Yhwach destroyed Ichigo's Bankai instantly with The Almighty and said that it was "a magnificent Bankai" and admitted that it was necessary for him to break it before Ichigo could use it. That has a lot of implications considering that prior to that moment Yhwach wasn't even remotely concerned about Ichigo and was content to simply play around with him. Yhwach didn't even feel comfortable letting Ichigo swing it around a few times before crushing it, he felt that he had to do so instantly to prevent Ichigo from using it. This implies that either Ichigo's Bankai is freakishly powerful beyond even The Almighty's ability to compensate or that it has some kind of ability that hard counters Yhwach.
>>76959112>What? I thought WI did protect you from WI, ergo why Ainz wanted Aura and Mare to have one when he fought Shalltear? (his red orb is a WI)That anon is full of shit, you're remembering things right.
>>76959112Anon's point is that worls items protecting the user from other word items, doesn't mean they all grant protection against all mind controlling effects or compulsions as well as instant-death effects, negative status effects, and scrying effects from every source.
>>76959062Ichigo really got some boring stuff compaired to everyone else his most unique trick was turning into a hollow every now and again
>>76959112>What? I thought WI did protect you from WI, ergo why Ainz wanted Aura and Mare to have one when he fought Shalltear? (his red orb is a WI)They do. He was probably criticising more how Brellin decided that any WI at all would protect you from a big range of status effects, like just holding any WI makes you immune to mind control stuff.

Have a wonderful day.
>>76959159I mean, Aizen's pretty strong but you're talking him up a little much there. He's growing stronger over time and he's never really adapted to specific stuff as opposed to just getting generally stronger. And beating his ass doesn't really match either. The fight was short and Aizen succeeded in effectively stalling the guy for a short time. Ass beating implies Yhwach was winning. Besides, the implications with Aizen's Shikai have a lot more relevance there than just raw power, especially with how it let Yhwach get beaten anyway. It really could just be too much raw power for him to contain. The series is fairly straightforward in that stuff sometimes just overwhelming raw broken abilities. And that's pretty consistently with Ichigo's whole deal too. Hyper focused, insane amounts of raw power.I'd find it much weirder if Ichigo suddenly has some weird Stand power like the other late game enemies. That doesn't fit his character and personality at all. Our boy Kurosaki is an extremely straightforward, practical guy. And if his true Shikai was just his original one but better with two swords, it seems more likely that follows true with his true bankai

It'd be about duty and obligation more than interest.Keep in mind, the NPCs were always going to be loyal to the SB but the fact that Ainz was the only one that stayed is why they're so fanatical about him and are thirsty for attention and approval.

>>76959168Hollow Ichigo is fucking bullshit though. Think about this: the Vasto Lorde form of Hollow Ichigo was absolutely shitting on Ulquiorra in his Segunda Etapa. Ulquiorra, in comparison, was so overwhelmingly powerful in his basic first level Resurreccion that even without Segunda Etapa the normal Ichigo could barely even react to his attacks and was being annihilated. Hollow Ichigo during that battle was overwhelming Ulquiorra's Cero Oscuras and Lanza del Relampago, both stated to be many times stronger than his ordinary Cero, with his own basic red Cero. That's fucking crazy, right?Except that right after this battle, when Ichigo leaves Hueco Mundo with Unohana, he reveals to her that the condition of his Bankai's outfit is indicative of how much spiritual power he's got left. Ichigo at the time only has a single sleeve left and told her that he was running on about half his normal strength, something that shocked Unohana because she could sense his spiritual pressure and he dwarfed Captain level. That is, Ichigo with just half of his spiritual power was massively stronger than a Captain. The same Ichigo being beaten around by Ulquiorra in base Resurreccion. Now, do you remember Hollow Ichigo? Remember what HE was wearing in Bankai...? Yeah, he was wearing a loincloth. All that was left of his Bankai outfit was a fucking loincloth that didn't even cover his legs. What percentage of spiritual power do you think he was running on when he was smashing Ulquiorra's face through those pillars? And we can safely assume that to be the case because later, during Ichigo's Dangai training, we see Hollow Ichigo in that form again... wearing the complete version of Ichigo's Bankai outfit.Hollow Ichigo is scary as fuck.

But he got killed by the Tsunayashiro ancestor who wanted power. It's less status quo is best no change allowed and more a combination of evil people often being in power and wanting it this way as well as the good people not really having any alternatives right now. Plus a final dash of lots of good folk aren't even aware of all the problems and reasons why they exist because of huge secrets.

>>76959595>Anyone can be a ShinigamiNot true. As a Plus you can learn the Shinigami's techniques but you need sufficient spiritual power before you even start learning. Most Pluses can never be Shinigami because they're too weak to manifest any spiritual power. Hollows can't become Shinigami (without Hogyoku shenanigans) because of their nature and Quincy (except for Ichigo due to his weird nature as a hybrid) can't because they're still alive.

>>76959726Semantics and not relevant to the question here. Also incorrect.A Shinigami is someone who uses a Zanpakuto. A Zanpakuto is an asauchi filled with spiritual energy of the wielder. If you have enough spiritual energy and an asauchi, you can make a Zanpakuto and become a Shinigami. There's no rule that only dead spiritual energy counts, there's no difference between the energy of the living and the dead. Hollows and Quincy can both do this. They just don't get the oppurtunity. The Hogyouko doesn't give Hollows a normal Zanpaktuo. It seals their hollow powers into the form of a sword that works similar to one.

Other pairs do not feel any mystical compulsion to change their sexual orientations. They just become close friends. Lunars who were mistreated by Solar mates in a past life, who deliberately abandoned their mates during the Usurpation or who have changed gender and/or sexual orientation since their First Age lives might have more... complicated reactions to their reborn mates. >>76959394All I can think when I see that is about how Ichigo's final form has just one of those horns. One goofy goddamn lopsided horn.It looks so stupid that it legitimately makes me angry.
>>76959987They really went full JRPG with it, huh?
>>76959465Neither of those make sense, honestly. Vasto Lorde is a specific stage of the hollow growth cycle that comes about from eating a fuck ton of other hollows, which Ichigo didn't do. And Resurrection is an Arrancar releasing their power stored in their false zanpakuto to return to their most Bestival hollow form. Which Ichigo is not and also didn't do.
>>76959987That wasn't really his final form though. Ichigo outright admits that he hadn't mastered it yet but that he didn't really have a choice but to bust it out prematurely against Yhwach. He even had to go through a whole song and dance of depleting his Shinigami power and unbalancing his spiritual energy in order to imperfectly release his Resurreccion for a quick power boost. It's not like he had any time to train it so he had to improvise and artificially force himself into a semi-Hollow state.

>>76960026>that comes about from eating a fuck ton of other hollowsNot really. As we see with Coyote Starrk, you don't have to eat any Hollows at all to become a Vasto Lorde. Starrk was born one and had such overwhelming power that it would literally evaporate anybody who approached him. Eating Hollows is just a means of increasing your power and once you reach a certain plateau of power you evolve into a Vasto Lorde.
>>76960088>not taking the Exaltation post jump thoughY tho

Growing to a different stage seems to make you a different being.Otherwise it doesn't make any sense. Was Starrk just supposed to have been a random human soul with so much raw spiritual pressure that he's best compared to Ichigo or Aizen after he's been huffing plot rocks?
Will we get a zero edition to commemorate Bleach?
>>76960082Depends on how much you include as part of his thing. Being the four races he has, plus his ability to grow fast and in response to conflict, would all come to between 1200 and 1500 points. But that's just Ichigo at basically episode 1, you'd still need to go through all the danger and challenges. You could get further with more points but that's more expensive.
>>76956353Zenkichi? What with his Crush for Medaka and his Devil Style
>>76953220Yes, even if there is at least one exception out there in MGE.Just do it by putting stipends in another section, or having an option that everyone can freely select like race/faction grant the points. Then nobody will really notice/complain.
>>76960192I am just absolutely excited. Utterly hyped. And terrified of how many drawbacks I'm gonna be taking.
>>76960188It's possible. Stark wasn't that strong. He was around the level of Shunsui, maybe a bit weaker, not Ichigo or Aizen before or after the timeskip. That was after he became an Arrancar too, so a big boost there.
>>76960118>Y thoBecause I have absolutely no idea of what a Infernal can actually do, and while normally I'm totally willing to research stuff to find out, Exalted is annoyingly hard to research without resorting to reading sourcebooks, and I hate how White Wolf's sourcebooks tend to be half story, a quarter prose, two eighths pictures one eighth cursive writing, and an eighth actual mechanical explanationsSo, I'm just going to spend my time in a oriental themed setting, and completely ignore the powers I could've potentially gotten there
>>76960100>Eating Hollows is just a means of increasing your powerNo? It's something that have to do to survive/not go even more insane than they are. And for Adjuchas, to keep from regressing into a mindless Gilligan. And I'm pretty sure it's the only way for a Hollow to increase their power. Aside from a one-time power boost they can get from ripping off their mask and becoming Arrancar. They can't just train like Shinigami can and gain power.
Just found out the Joker was based on a dude from a 1928 movie called "The Man Who Laughs". Crazy shit, you should look up the picture for the guy that was in the movie, he's spot on for being the Joker.
>>76960182He didn't? He just said that when he was brought back as a shadow soldier he got an enforced loyalty towards the MC and that the MC should be careful with his power.
>>76960188Nah, we know otherwise because of Harribel and Ulquiorra. Harribel in particular remembers everything prior to becoming a Vasto Lorde. And in any case, Starrk's aspect of death was "Loneliness" which was embodied by him being so powerful that no one could approach him without dying. He eventually resorted to literally carving Lilynette out of his own soul to have some kind of companionship.
>>76960192How does being a hybrid work? Is there a race section where you can buy more than one race?
>>76960191*Cero edition
>>76960237>Crazy shit, you should look up the picture for the guy that was in the movie, he's spot on for being the Joker.Yeah, it's almost as if the Joker was based on him. Real crazy, man.
>>76960241You are saying he wasnt brought back but he literally was. Even what you say here proves it.
>>76960266Huh, I never said that he wasn't brought back? I just said that the Shadow Soldiers are formed by extracting souls from the targets, but people's shadows aren't literally their souls. It's a form of necromancy and it just gets the title of shadows because it's the Shadow Monarch (who gets the SHADOW Legion and SHADOW Soldiers for his SHADOW powers).
>>76960220>He was around the level of ShunsuiHe lost to Shunsui (while not actually trying that hard). That doesn't make him the same level as Shunsui anymore than Ichigo beating Kenpachi means that Ichigo was as strong the top tier captains the second he first stepped into Soul Society.Plus, again, this is raw spiritual power from a human soul that never trained we're talking about. Even if he was "only"as strong as one of the more powerful captains, not even fucking Ichigo was that crazy powerful to start with. It just doesn't make sense.
BIG NUMBERRRRRRSSSSSS
>>76960253*Cero Edicion
>>76960243>Starrk's aspect of death was "Loneliness"Given his aspect I guess it makes an ironic kind of sense for Starrk to only have one soul inside of him.
>>76960244You get one race for free at the start, none of them cost points if you only pick one. Your first race is the primary one, where you get full freebies and discounts (So 2 freebies, 2 discounted lines and the 800 racial perk discounted). Then the general perk section will have a race perk, probably called Hybridisation or somehting. Costs 200-300CP each purchase and each time you get it, you pick another race. You get limited discounts for extra races. No freebies, maybe one freebie if I end up thinking it's needed, only one line discounted for the racial perks and no discounts on the 800cp perk of that extra race. You've got a decent amount of freedom for how exactly the hybrid thing works, because we see a number of different ways. If you're a Shinigami-Hollow hybrid, it might vary from being a Vizard (Shinigami dominant with no passive Hollow stuff, Hollow is a inner hollow to be tamed but can be used for a huge temporary super mode), an Arrancar (Hollow dominant, Shinigami side is very limited and mostly just a method to use hollow powers), Hikone style (Full hybrid of both, have the passives of each race but no super mode or special enhancements beyond ordinary members) and so on. Any choice you make is roughly as valuable as others but there's different ways to weigh the advantages and disadvantages.Being a Hybrid doesn't innately increase your power but it will open up a variety of options and additional ways to grow, which will make getting stronger a lot easier in general.
>>76960324Okay so he was even weaker than Shunsui. This doesn't seem that hard. We know that living beings can be very powerful spiritually, it's just very rare. He was some spirit warrior or monk when he was alive and that huge amount of power transferred when he became a hollow. Simple. Obviously not likely but he's not some common nobody hollow. He's the third strongest hollow that ever appears in the setting.
>>76960361>have the passives of each race but no super mode or special enhancements beyond ordinary membersWhat are these passives, and what do you mean by supermodes? Do you mean Shikai/Resurreccion?
>>76960333HOLY JESUS FUCK THAT'S A BIG NUMBER OH MY GOD NAPPA COME LOOK AT THIS I DON'T FUCKING BELIEVE IT
>>76960361For all the shit about hybrids, aren't the strongest people in the setting barring the MC just members of a single race? And most of them just Shinigami too.
>>76960324>KenpachiI still think it's hilarious that everyone talks about how ridiculous Ichigo and Aizen are because of their hybrid bullshit/magic rocks, but EOS Kenpachi is nearly as powerful as them without mastering his Bankai or ever learning proper swordsmanship. And he's just like, some guy. He doesn't have hollow powers or immortality or anything. He's just stupid powerful for no reason at all.

>>76960457I prefer being illusion man.
>>76960494>Implying Aizen isn't also a MC
>>76960400Well, what I described earlier in that post. If you take a Hikone style thing, you don't get the Vizard mask thing, which is an easy quick huge buff. Instead, you get access to a Hierro and natural regeneration and can learn Hollow techniques like Cero without only using them with the mask on.Whatever you choose, there is the potential to expand beyond the starting point, like a Vizard learning that shit and using it outside of the mask, but that'll generally take time and effort compared to just starting like that. Advantages and disadvantages to each choice but you get a lot of choice. How your character works is up to you.>>76960439That's sorta my mindset behind not letting hybrids get discounts on all the 800 perks. They're all, save one of them, based on pure race members.
>>76960466Ichigo's not first. he's a hybrid and not a true hollow. That ikomiki thing from the novel is first and Yammy is second even if we all wish he wasn't.
>>76960315How are you trying to claim that they both are and are not their souls?
>>76960511Ah, so the "beyond ordinary members" thing is just that you're a normie on both accounts in terms of the races you're a hybrid of, rather than having a boost related to the second race?
>>76957403https://bleach.fandom.com/wiki/Yasutora_Sado
>>76960543Because things don't lose their shadow when they get their souls extracted? It's not like Moria from One Piece.
>>76960556Pretty much. Instead of aiming for a special buff, you just go for being a ordinary but full member of each race at once. In the long term, probably better overall, but that is in the long term, since you'll have to do all that training and learning yourself.
>>76960530>Yammy is secondI still call bullshit on that. A worn-out Byakuya and Kenpachi bodied his fully buffed Resurreccion form off-screen with apparently little difficulty. And it's unlikely that either of them would stand any chance against even Ulquiorra if they had fought against him.
In the MCU 1 jump, what movie would you be at 5 years in? Prior to Infinity War right? I'm thinking of splitting the MCU jumps into MCU 1 being five years and then MCU 2 picking up at that point for another ten, rather than having them both just be one combined 15 year jump, but I'm not entirely sure how far along the plot will have gone in that initial five year time frame.

Adorjan, for example, is a wind that murders those in her path. As a living wind, her charms include things like running fast constantly and regardless of the terrain, making running count as sleep in terms of rest, dodging physical attacks, being invisible and inaudible as long as you are running as fast as possible, being able to attack others despite dashing without stopping, turning into literal wind... >Adorjan doesn’t like inflicting violence callously and dispassionately from afar, and her Charms support this. Nonetheless, she is against range, not ranged weapons. Any attacks made at melee range count as close combat attacks, regardless of the weapon used. Likewise, any attacks made beyond this distance count as ranged combat for the purpose of Adorjani Charms.>the Exalt appears as a gust of crimson-hued wind swirling with mirage distortions. When initially still, he coalesces into a humanoid shape hinting at his material form. As he moves, his ephemeral substance warps and stretches behind him as amorphous streamers of light and pain, making it impossible to identify him without the aid of Charms. From the more mental side, you can do things like instantly terminating your emotional attachments, instantly falling in love, making others fall in love with you, making people forget about the things you steal from them, being better at hurting those that you love, gaining telepathy at the cost of becoming mute, making people believe any lies they tell you...
>>76960655Look anon, not going to bother with this anymore. Souls =/= Shadows. Shadow Soldiers are their own category of magical beings and you aren't going to hurt someone's soul in Solo Leveling by stepping in their shadows.

>>76960088>Exalted hating murder monks roaming aroundYeah, Dragonblooded warrior monks. They do help in things like making sure the local gods do their jobs, but said "helpfulness" becomes a problem when you take into account the common beliefs about Solar and Lunar Exalted:Basically, the doctrine spread after the Usurpation is that the Solars and Lunars are what they call Anathema, demons in human form. You may also have to worry about the Wild Hunt and disguised Sidereals if you draw too much attention.
>>76961573Sounds like Negima to me. Dunno about the make a wish kid but Bleach did crash and burn towards the end of its run, although it was kind of in a death spiral of constantly decreasing quality the moment the Soul Society arc ended.

Are there any perks that eliminate habits and biases in stuff like chess or combat?
>>76960088>To much of Creation, and especially to the Dragon-Blooded, the Lunar Exalted are creatures of nightmare. While humanity has, until recently, enjoyed a long respite from the depredations of the Solar Anathema, the Lunars continued to reincarnate from the Usurpation to the present day. To many Dragon-Blooded, the Lunars are the Anathema — twisted, Wyld-tainted monsters that hurl themselves against civilization in barbarous rage.
>>76960657God, same here anon. The pain is real.
>>76960088>Since the Usurpation, the Immaculate Order has taught that the Lunar Exalted are demons called Anathema, though of a variety more bestial than the Solars. The Order has names for the surviving castes of the Lunar Anathema, and most civilized people only know these names for the three Lunar castes.>The Frenzied (Full Moon caste)>The Realm’s histories tell how these Anathema sought the power of great beasts and went mad. By the light of the moon, these feral lunatics ripped out the hearts of their hapless foes and drank their blood. When faced with the might of the Dragon-Blooded Host, the maniacs fl ed into the wilderness. The Wyld Hunt pursued and destroyed them, but sometimes, the foul patrons of the Anathema drive one their servants mad, and the hunt for the Frenzied must begin anew.>The Tricksters (Changing Moon caste)>Ancient records speak of Anathema who clad their bodies within lies. These craven creatures would lurk on the edges of the wild, slipping into cities and villages to seduce loyal husbands, devour them and lay their bestial seed within unsuspecting wives. Fortunately, the righteous Dragon-Blooded drove out these Tricksters and their beastman fosterlings. It is said that some fled into the forsaken shadowlands of Marama’s Fell, where their treacherous ways led to infighting and slaughter.>The Ogres (No Moon caste)>So hideous were these twisted Anathema that they were forced to work their evil by the dark of the moon. Less potent than the Unclean, the Ogres were so desperate to prove their power that they forged pacts with demons so wicked they could only be called on the darkest of nights. The Dragon-Blooded razed the stygian groves of these Anathema and banished their hellish masters. Today, the wise itinerant monks of the Immaculate Order watch for signs of the vile Ogres among the heretics of the wilds.

>>76962111Nah, Zanpakuto are made from normal souls. They mention Shinigami but they also made them back before Shinigami were a thing so. They're just blank ones that have energy impressed onto them by the new wielder. >Ichigo had a Zanpakuto before he ever got an asauchiSsssh. The series kinda forgot about that. It's one of the few things never actually addressed, how and why Ichigo actually had a Zanpakuto like he did, since he had Zangetsu, the actual spirit, from at least the SS arc and probably just since birth if his Quincy powers copied his actual spirit. That's definitely not how it's meant to work.
>>76962140A lot of it was more that he hated publisher deadlines and influence. He wanted to do it at his own pace and how he wanted. He also did the last arc with a bad wrist injury iirc because of how much they wanted to push it out. At least he seems to be doing BtW at his own pace.

>>76962268>But the novel after helpsDoes the novel reveal if Ichigo's sisters got bullshit hybrid powers, too?
>>76962320More the complaints about the Hueco Mundo and Winter War arcs pacing I think. There's a lot of focus on side battles and stuff away from the main character, which is often what gets complaints with manga week by week when the hero hasn't been seen in a while, but reading it now lets you zoom through it all. There's still a lot of story in Hueco Mundo but it doesn't take real time years to get through the story.Honestly, this kinda applies to most series though when it comes to manga. Always higher quality once they're fully out. It's just really noticeable for stuff that has a lot happen in a short period of time in universe.Fullbringers was nice though. Different for Bleach but didn't feel unfitting.>>76962366Nah>>76962388I believe there is some mention that he didn't actually have his powers back and sought out Urahara after to start regaining them. But that might just be me trying to fill in a silly plothole.
>>76962397I know, right?Just like One Piece
>>76962412They’d be Shinigami/Quincy if they did, Ichigo got all the Hollow energy.
>>76962268>A lot of the flaws people talk about are reduced now that the series is fully out and you don't go week by weekYeah, the series it's a lot better once you read it in one go instead of waiting a week.
>>76962412Well, they do actually come up in the novel, the villain wanted to have one of them become part of the Shiba clan as the new head so he could get more political power but it got blocked by Yoruichi and Byakuya. As for hybrids, we know they can't have any hollow stuff and they probably don't have fullbringer stuff since it's meant to be rare. So Quincy plus whatever the fuuuuck let Ichigo have a Zanpakuto early. Maybe Isshin's some sort of super Shinigami.
>>76962419It's just Dragon Ball Z with ghosts and swords
>>76961983Well, DARKNESS can only improve something with its addition so that's a shame.>>76962335That would be a feat of autism beyond even the most dedicated Jumpmakers here, I think.
>>76962419I don't know about that, I remember reading through Hueco Mundo all in one sitting on a scan site a long time ago and it definitely felt like a slog to me. I'd echo the complaints others have mentioned about Hueco Mundo's story just being a copy paste of soul society but also Ichigo becoming a far less interesting character since at this point he's just been constantly reacting to enemy plots and not really asserting himself as a character with his own motivations.
>>76962462Sounds like Chuck’s kind of entertainment.
>>76962457>Maybe Isshin's some sort of super Shinigami.I mean he did put up a pretty good fight against Aizen, didn't he?
>>76962469>That would be a feat of autism beyond even the most dedicated Jumpmakers here, I thinkI think you're underestimating everyone here
>>76962457>Maybe Isshin's some sort of super Shinigami.I mean, do we know what the Shiba clan’s unique thing is? What do they have as a hold over from the pre SS world.
>>76962335There would be a lot of cavets to such a huge list. For example some jumps are way more dangerous as a first jump than if you took it later. For example something as humble looking as Tarkov/war jumps is actually one of the worst jumps to pick since all it takes to die is getting shot because of a tiny mistake as opposed to usually more forgiving anime properties. I'd end up having different criteria for shit.
>>76962494I guess it's just disagreement in views then.>>76962508Well, he was also a Captain before he left the SS so it's hard to say.>>76962514Closest we can guess is fireworks maybe? That's all Kukaku and Ganju seem to focus on. Big Gun if generous.
>>76962494Unfortunately he's a Hero type protagonist, and therefore only reacts to evil.
>>76962537>Well, he was also a Captain before he left the SSI feel like 90% of the cast of Bleach is either a captain or ex-captain.
>>76962508Isn’t Aizen literally a super shinigami?
>>76962518Wouldn't you order it by comparing each world to each other and ranking them based on that?
>>76962561Pretty sure Aizen is a god. Or at least his goal was to use the Hogyoku to transcend the barrier between shinigami and divinity.
>>76962537>Big Gun if generous.Ah, so that was Ichigo's Bankai. Combined with his Quincy bullshit and Yhwach would've had to face the greatest 1man1gun build in the series. No wonder he broke his sword right away.
>>76962561It was Aizen with the Hougyoku, he was blurring the lines a bit on what he actually was.
>>76962561He was just really motivated.
>>76962548Not true. Compare Ichigo to other shonen heroes like Naruto, Luffy, and Deku. All three of them have strongly-defined motivations propelling them to take action. Naruto and Deku both want to become the hokage/greatest hero and Luffy is out to find One Piece. By contrast Ichigo doesn't really seem to want anything aside from stopping the bad guy. And that's really a shame since Soul Society set him up with possibilities for a really great character arc of discovering what he wants and going for it and he just never acts on it.
>>76962566You could do different categories and and then try to just plug them into those. Trying to go from least to most powerful jump would be a nightmare.
>>76962566How do you judge each world? Depending on your build, most worlds can vary a lot in how dangerous they are. Danger might be in specific places or all over, only at specific times or all the time, it might be no danger at all to some people but extremely to others.Danger is pretty much impossible to make an order for. Power level might be possible but you'd have to decide either for maximum or average power level and both will give inaccurate results. Lovecraft would be a very powerful setting with the former but actually pretty low with the latter.
>>76962596>Bankai "The Stampede"Gets his coat back and everything, just red instead.
>>76962548Which is weird, since the story makes a point that Ichigo went out of his way to go hunt down street thugs with Chad, and his whole arc with Kenpachi and Hollow Zangetsu is that he he does enjoy fighting, what he hates is when people go out of their way to involve his friends and family into it.
>>76962610Honestly, Ichigo's motivation had been very clear cut from what I remember...but not exactly particularly fit for a shonen. He just wanted to protect himself and his own. Literally that's it, along with a bit of "I'll help others out if I can.". He was a very reactive sort of person pre-show, caring for the plights of ghosts but not one to actually go out and do much aside from a few "token" efforts here and there. Aside from that, he just wanted to live his life and make sure those he cares for are safe. And while noble, it doesn't make for a good shonen motivation-he isn't proactive and doesn't particularly care for whatever's going on around him as long as it isn't infringing on his little bubble.
>>76962610He has clear motivations though. He wants to save his friends. Bleach's story mostly takes place in a very short timeframe. Everything until Aizen's defeat is only a few months, while all these other series are operating on several years with many different events. The difference doesn't seem to be strongly defined motivations but long term goals. Ichigo's motivation to save his friends is possibly more well defined than the vaguer goals of the others, who want a position or title eventually in the future. But Ichigo's thing is very short term and immediate. It's a response to a threat.
>>76962510I suppose it wouldn't be that bad if you divided it up into broad categories instead of trying to come up with a definitive ranking, but it would still require either extensive knowledge of every setting we have and/or their Jumps, or crowd-sourcing for that information. There's also the issue where how dangerous a setting is depends on your build for it; would you rank the setting based off of the best possible build, or would you use a human base-line to determine what level of danger there is? Both have their own flaws.
>>76962610>doesn't really seem to want anything aside from stopping the bad guy.Generally, he just wants a normal life with all his loved ones safe. That’s been his number one priority from the get go.
>>76961047Someone post that picture where the King of the Hill cast are Shinigami and Dale explains Aizen's plan while Bill asks if an Arrancer girl would date him.
>>76962686That's not accurate. Not entirely. Ichigo can be summed up as a good guy, a relatively normal guy that wants to do good. He says he doesn't expect or want to be the one to save the world but he doesn't want to only save himself and his friends either. He just wants to do good and save people where he can.>"I'm not superman, so I can't say anything big like I'll protect everyone on earth. I'm not a modest guy who will say it's enough if I can protect as many people as my two hands can handle either. I want to protect a mountain-load of people." Ichigo basically wants to be a doctor, like his dad. He's not a messiah, he's just a normal dude in a strange situation that wants to do what good he can for others.
>>76962722Fair enough; it's been way too long since I read the manga or watched the show, so my memories of it were a bit spotty.
>>76962173Snickers
>>76962722This is what I like about Ichigo, beyond the other Shounen protagonists. He's not really this larger than life Jesus figure like Naruto becomes and he doesn't have the superhuman ability to inspire and gather people like Luffy. And he's not even got the fucked up issues that Deku has. He's the closest to being a regular guy that anyone might know. Pretty clever, hard working, charitable and friendly if you're a nice person too. Goes out of his way to help others but won't sacrifice his own life without good reason for total strangers. In a world where every protagonist can often feel closer to an alien than a human with understandable motivations, I think Ichigo stands out. He's the most grounded of all these big manga heroes. It can come off as a little bland, because he doesn't really get the huge breakout moments that the others do because of their big personalities. But there's plenty of character to be found in Ichigo, you just need to go back and read through what he says.
>>76962690I feel like you'd havw to rank them on the assumption they are first jumps, which is to say based on their own content as predicting how every jump interacts is impossible, and then you'd have to assume average or median power level build. Basically nit the worst not optimized just kind of middle of the road for what is possible with the jump. It would definitely require crowd sourcing. Preferably at least a few anons opinions for each jump. I think dividing them into categories of safe, unsafe, and dangerous would be the easiest. If you get into more minutiae than that it's just begging for arguements and making way to much work. Just categorize them on their own merits independent of any other jump based on your chance at survival if it was jump one. I wouldn't bother ranking the jumps within a given category, because comparing jumps against each other like that seems counter productive and likely to cause contention to me, but if i absolutely to I would further sub divide each section into 3 groups of least dangerous to most dangerous within that category. So you'd basically be able ti see if a jump was considered safe or dangerous and what the level it was on. Essentially having 9 levels.
>>76962788Spider-Man would sacrifice his life for total strangers and he's pretty relatable

>>76962335>>76962510>>76962690>>76962842Anon is basically asking for VSBattles wiki. And we all know how that went.
>>76962690I mainly asked because I wanted to do a roll only Chain but realized that jumping straight from Pokemon to Dragon Ball Z and then Animal Crossing felt a little jarring.A category would be something like modern earth, where stuff like Ace Combat, Austin Powers and SoL animes could be placed in, and then ranked from there. In a SoL setting you would be a lot less safer than Ace Combat, and even Austin Powers.
>>76962856Is he actually relatable though? He's friendly and funny but I don't think that's being relatable. Not unless you're going more for specific stories. Otherwise you're looking at this sometimes billionaire, sometimes not, super genius cosmic hero world celebrity, trying to save the world and balance his many romantic interests while being shit on harder than anyone ever has from time to time.Guess it's the problem with comics though.

>>76962872Oh it's a terrible idea, and like I said I think it would absolutely cause contention, I just cant help but spitball what i think is the best way to do it. Not a good way. It's still a bad idea and a bad plan, but I think the best way it could be done. It would be literally impossible to put them in an actual list of jumps least dangerous to most dangerous with each jump ranked compared to the others and in exact order of threat level. Couldn't be done. But you could theoretically say these jumps are dangerous, these jumps are less dangerous. People might argue over which murder death gore porn world is worse than the others, but they probably won't argue over whether or not the murder gore porn worlds belong in the dangerous category while the fluffy comedy worlds belongs in the safer category. Probably.

All this talk about bleach made me remember something I noticed while I was doing a second reading of the manga.>despite being present in the battle of vizards vs Aizen, Kubo completely forgot to draw any scene of Omaeda fighting, not even a pity scene of him losing>anime also skipped him, everyone gets a scene where they lose to Aizen, omaeda is just straight up gone from the fight He got some better treatment in the final arc, but man, being completely forgotten both in the manga and anime sucks, cant believe Aizen is so powerful he erases people from the manga.
>>76962889Also not many of us have sold our marriages to the actual devil.
>>76963086That's not really a surprise? He's a vice captain and not a major one. He got his moment a few battles before that in his team up with Sui Feng. All the vizard are captain level and have personal stakes against AizenJust doesn't seem to fit that OMaeda get any screen time.
>>76963105Even the best heroes aren't immune to Marvel's shitty writing.
>>76963086He has the power of King Crimson 2: King Crimson harder
>>76962889>>76962894NTA but he used to be much more relatable. Marvel has been destroying the character for a long time now and moving him away from what made him so beloved in the first place. He's still popular because of sheer inertia at this point, and because even with how much they've ruined shit he's still better than the vast majority of marvel characters, but he isn't the spider man I loved growing up. Not anymore, and it's sad. I still like Spiderman for what he was, but I hate what they made him. Well what certain writers made him.
>>76963086>When you stealth so hard the Manga Writer can't find you.
>>76963105>>76962889The thing is that wasn't what spiderman was. None of that us what spider man was, they aren't what I think of when I think of spider man. I know that's the direction marvels shitheads have taken him, but that isn't Spiderman. These are (relatively) recent developments pushed by a few writers that had a good deal of backlash because people didn't like them assassinating the character like that. Spiderman spent decades as a pretty relatable dude. He had his wife, his shitty job and his worries about bills, and he tried to do the right thing and help his community even though it made things harder for him. Yeah he got caught up in the bigger nonsense becausr he was a popular character so he'd get shoe horned in to the big teams and events and whatnot, but when it was just spiderman? For a long time it was just a guy doing his best and I liked that. It saddens me those days are gone.

And seeing as the only times we actually see members of the 2nd are when A) Shit has hit the fan so hard stealth ops are no longer possible or B) People have been informed and are using Anti-THEM tactics or C) The Prior Captain is here, no need to try at that point. Omeada might acutally be a stealthy fat-ninja meme and no one got the joke.

>>76963287Sorry to tell you this...But I don't like Dr. McNinja
>>76963268And so autitistically obsessed with fighting a strong opponent that he refuses to pursue anything but fighting and being a hero in search of enjoyment in life.
