what's everyone's thoughts on printing bases?so far it just feels like I'm wasting resin and plate space that could be spent on other minis, not to mention that there's always some kind of flaw or inconsistency. It seems like building them directly onto the plate is just an absolute nightmare as well as they end up so adhered to the plate it takes the force of a thousand suns to remove them, in which case you'll probably end up damaging them.on top of all of that it seems like there's a consensus (I agree with) that printed terrain features on bases always look weird and off and don't paint well at all.

When the problem starts to reoccur again, I dispose of the old stuff, treat the "new stuff" as the old stuff and pour myself a new vat. I get through less IPA that way.

Looking at those wash/cure stations and have a couple of questions. Do you just pop your print in there, turn it on, and then it's completely cured when done? Also, how messy are they with cleanup and replacing whatever it is you're using to wash your prints?
