They should be the one trying to get into the Big 12, since they could easily get left out in the event of further Big 10 expansion. Big 12 could easily take San Diego State instead of them, who could be the next UCF (solid program, in a big city without an NFL team, new stadium). Big 12 expanding with SDSU, Arizona, ASU, Colorado doesn't seem like an unlikely scenario, leaving Utah back in the MWC. Instead, Utah seems to be leading the charge for staying in the Pac 12 while Arizona (who will always have a place in the Big 12) seems to be leading the charge for leaving.

He's always been in good condition for a man of his age but over the past two years, it's started catching up with him. If there's playoff expansion, that likely starts in 2025 too. The AAC adds honestly seem underwhelming, the only one that seems interesting is UTSA. Imagine if they added App State, James Madison instead of all those teams that nobody cares about.
