>>114139562If Whyte loses, I think Fury will be freed up to take a voluntary if he wants (probably Kabayel). If Usyk/Joshua 2 gets done before the Shyte rematch then Fury and Usyk can probably sign for undisputed as it will supersede the mandatory defences. I expect the undisputed to take place next year, there should be no political bullshit in the way now. If Whyte wins, cool, Fury just needs to knock him out and then if Usyk wins the fight can be made immediately after.

Where to buy this GLORIOUS hat? Other shop's don't have this exact one.
>>114139562To be fair Fury kinda wasted everyone’s time trying to duck the rematch clause when the courts forced him to and then ducked again with covid. Yeah the rematch clauses slow things down but we need to hold ducking fighters like Tysoy, Teohomo, etc. The latter has ducked Kambosos so many times the fight might get outright cancelled. No one wants it anymore. He had the chance to rematch Loma but because Lopez Sr. convinced the idiot Papachenko not to include the fight we got denied a fight people actually wanted to see. Sometimes its not the promoters fault. Sometimes these fighters just dont want to fight each other. Tysoy wanted to fuck off to Saudi Arabia for the british super wank. He’ll just follow the easy payday. Guy is a huge duck, expect another two year layoff.

>>114141130Not that uncommon really, Ali hated doing morning jogs/work outs, half the time he went back to bed & Holmes claimed he was always trying to swoon the ladies instead of focusing on his camp Really Wilder's problem is he keeps reverting back to the le right hand meme the second hes in trouble, he was doing good against Fury the first 3 rounds.

>>114143456That jab he was pumping was doing some nice damage. He said in the leadup to the fight he would go to the body, and sure enough, he did until he was drawn back into a slugfest. I'm interested to see if he expands that skill in his next fight.
>>114143456I think you meant to say first round. Fury took round 2 and knocked wilder down in the 3rd.
It's pretty clear Tyson fury wasn't in the best of shape like 2nd fight right?I watched 2nd and 3rd fight side by side and in the 2nd fight Fury looked so much faster, he only weighed 4lbs more this fight so it must be that there were problems in camp and he didn't get the proper length training he shoulda got.
>>114144167wilder did pretty good in the first 5 rounds really, but after that he was spent and kept the fight alive in spots just with determination/desperation. round 2 i thought was fury but it was competitive. one judge gave it to wilder and i heard some commenters on one of the broadcasts thinking it was wilder. round 3 was competitive again up until the kd and wilder was at least still trying to somewhat do his body jab game plan. after the kd he became le right hand man again, but had his best round in 4. then he was swinging for the fences in 5 because he still had some window to get fury out and knew his own energy was draining fast. 5 was competitive again. i thought it was a fury round, but two judges gave it to wilder. after that wilder was out of gas and it was all fury, with occasional hail mary bursts from wilder.
>>114143456I don’t think that would be entirely accurate to say. Wilder’s right was the punch that was seeing the most success that night. The issue I believe is his inability to effectively follow it up and being predictable. Wilder would throw a 1-2 that would clip Fury good, then either jump back and not try and capitalize (not always a bad thing mind you) or repeat the sequence and Fury would just easily duck under. Wilder had looked good in the final stretches of the 10th round even though Fury was putting on the pressure where Wilder actually threw a variety of punches and employed lateral movement to not let Fury pin him to the ropes and get a good angle on him. Considering the 11th though, it was probably the last of Wilder’s strength.
>>114144499Yeah his camp was shit & sugar hill wouldn't admit it on an interview recently, kept saying no excuses out of respect for wilder & malik scot
>>114144499Could be he didn't have the camp he wantedCould be Wilder got his respect in the 3rd, and he was more waryCould be hes gotten older and isn't as fast as he was 20 months ago

>>114146603It’s a shame Wilder is still a sore loser despite an otherwise great showing. Despite Fury’s performance eventually commanding the match the official scorecards were rather quite close by the time of the knockout. I think he’s in for a bad time if he doesn’t express some humility. Everyone knows how Foreman returned to the game at 38 and became a elite level heavyweight again, recapturing the title to became champ, but he did so cause he took an honest look at what he had left and built on that. Wilder will be 36 in a week, if he wants to make another run at the title he’s gonna have to look at what still works for him and build on that.
>>114138416https://youtu.be/GIpfaPY5F4MIs Andy Ruiz past his prime? Look at how aggressive he looks in those highlights vs when he went against Arreola. I think Ruiz biggest mistake was having Abel Sanchez as his coach for the Parker fight and then also choosing Reynoso as his coach. He was fine with Robles. He could have won against Joshua in the rematch if he didn't ballon up to almost 300lb. He was able to hit Parker pretty good and he was arguably a better pure boxer than Joshua. He definitely could have won the rematch.

>>114147355Foul play isn’t that uncommon in this sport. Ali recalled in the lead up to the fight with Foreman he was approached by an old gangster that offered him an ointment to rub on his gloves that’d blind Foreman temporarily, without realizing that Ali apparently recognized the guy in Liston’s corner in their first fight (where Ali and his corner believed that Ali’s sudden blindness was foul play and not just an accident. >>114146801>>114147078>>114148606Serious question: why are brits (and their colonies) so obsessed with "respect"? /box/ makes fun of Adam Smith relentlessly because he always wants to see "the respect" between 2 fighters but it seems like a lot of brits are genuinely worried about fighters respecting each other. Ali and Frazier never respected each other, Barrera and Morales don't respect each other, I'd say it's definitely not uncommon among great fighters to harbor ill will towards one another even after a trilogy. Just strikes me as a very strange thing to care about and desire
215 lbs Wilder wins the fourth fight.
>>114149077Sportsmanship is a white thing
>>114149077Think after Wilder's excuse PR disaster he became a joke, and even during his walk in commentators were laughing saying his suit looks light this time. Afterwards, people were pleased to see him show so much heart in the fight, and started to respect him again and temporarily forgave him. Then he just reminded us he's a still a delusional joke and blew his chance to escape it.
>>114149077You just won't get it because you're a negro nation
>>114149077Its the whole reason boxing was codified in the first placeYou have a disagreement with a man. You fight it out according to the rules and you shake hands afterwards with a newfound respect for eachother

>>114149077Genuine answer: In an idealised world, it goes back to the proper way of handling things. If you have to come to a fight with someone outside of the ring for whatever reason, it should be one man wins, one loses, you fight fair, shake hands and let that be the end of it when it's all done. You don't have to like that person, but you give them their dignity in a loss, you give them their credit if they win, it's conclusive, both parties move on with their heads held high. Maybe it is a culture thing. For example, I'll never understand how in other countries/cultures why they get so obsessed over 'family honour' and all that kind of thing, if one of my cousins got a hiding over something stupid that's his problem, in other cultures I'm supposed to be incensed and immediately get involved in some kind of faux gang war to protect the family name's honour. Makes zero sense but lots of people believe it.
Holy shit the story is bigger than I thought over there. What is the fascination with this? So many interesting angles with this fight and brits just want to talk about respect ad nauseum

>>114150162Usyk rated himself 3/10 in the Chisora fight and blamed the long layoff on his shit performance. He was clearly pissed off by it.

>>114148364>he looked shit ON PURPOSE bro, he got the big money fight off it so smartit's been said before and it'll be said againjust cope 99% of the time and in this case Chisora has a very difficult style for a smaller man that boxes a clean amateur styleHe's a heavy man with a great chin that likes to come forward, fight on the inside and rough up opponentsI was genuinely concerned about Usyk fighting him early in his HW career before he adjusted to the weight because the match up is so bad for him

>>114150454I think every single Western GOAT from before the collapse of the USSR would have got exposed or challenged by Soviet boxers if they were allowed to turn pro.It took about 5 years from the collapse of the USSR for elite-level boxers to turn from there and start dominating. To me anyone boxing pre-USSR collapse can't be considered the GOAT because he was only facing half the talent.
>>114150526>we still haven't even seen the "real" joshua vs usyk i.e. the brawler joshua not this pussy ass gunshy boxer joshuaYou don't know what you're talking about.Chisora was chasing him around like a mong and didn't hurt him at all. If anything Usyk proved what happens if you try to brawl him, you gas out and become his punching bag.
Every single deano, cazzie, britbum, and rematch room salesmen is saying "Joshua needs to run and get dirty!!!" and that's how you know that's exactly what he should not do
>>114150545i didn't say he hurt him learn to read. i said he looked troubled by the pressure. those rounds where chisora was pressuring him were usyks worst rounds in the fight. literally anyone who isn't a usyk asslicker has said that even in interviews with the pros. but there's no point arguing with retards like you who have put usyk on this untouchable pedestal for whatever stupid reason. unwilling to accept the facts.
>>114150580that's what got him to this stage in his career and is literally the only way he can fight. admit it or not but joshua is extremely one dimensional and he can't box at range. stop acting like a casual.

>>114150454Very true east European boxers are very underrated
>>114150641That guy was saying joshua fought like a brauler like chisora. He never had done. He always been more controlled, using his jab and counter punches.
>>114146210Boxing is the hardest sport
>>114150702the guy said "run and get dirty". i don't agree with the run part and i'll change the "dirty" part to getting stuck in. joshua has always been the dominant fighter in all his fights. he pushes the other fighter back and lands heavy handed combinations. that was always his successful style which got him out of sticky situations like against wladimir, povetkin and whyte where he got rocked but kept fighting on. he changed his style to this tap boxing bullshit against ruiz 2 which gave this false idea that he can box, but was more of a case of ruiz being utter shite. he fought the same way against usyk and got thoroughly out-boxed. the only way he can win is if he takes the fight to usyk. if he gets KO'd the so be it but he himself should know deep inside that he fought with all the wrong tactics. even the pro analysts were shocked at how he changed his style against usyk. everyone was expecting the old joshua not the ruiz 2 gun-shy pussy joshua.
If Joshua runs in, he's gassing out and get sparked out. Simple as. Only chance is he winning is using his jab and longer reach.
>>114150816>Only chance is he winning is using his jab and longer reach.which is literally what he did last time and got clowned. he needs to use his size and strength. as tyson fury said he's a glorified body builder not a boxer. if he wins against usyk it's going to be via KO. he's not winning a boxing match against a clearly superior boxer. everyone agrees on this. outside of this thread.
>>114150307Fans always forget that boxers can have days where they just arent at their best like everyone else. Except in boxing it tarnishes your reputation for like 6 months minimum. Kinda like how occasionally a great tennis player will lose in the first round they play, or a top team lose against a shit one but carry on dominating the next week.Boxing fans really dont appreciate nuance and want to explain everything as the guy being shit exposed etc etc. If you box yourself despite not being elite you will definitely jnowt that feeling of days when it all comes together and your switched on and clean and precise and rhythmic vs other times when you just can't get it going in the same way. And yes obviously everyone knows a long layoff is bad for a fighter and its been demonstrated a million times over. But for whatever reason when its a fighter we dont like performing worse because of it, that aspect is no longer relevant

I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t disappointed in the outcome but after reflecting on my journey, I now see that what God wanted me to experience is far greater than what I expected to happen. We didn’t get the win but a wise man once said the victories are within the lessons. I’ve learned that sometimes you have to lose to win. Although, I wanted the win I enjoyed seeing the fans win even more. Hopefully, I proved that I am a true Warrior and a true King in this sport. Why does everyone keep saying AJ just got his tactics wrong? I rewatched the fight and he tried landing big shots early on and just couldn't find them, he tried holding at some points and USYK footwork was just too good he was never there to be leaned on or roughed up.I think USYK ups the gears mid way through the fight in the rematch and stops Joshua rd 10. >>114155477AJ did clinch him a few times and tried to upper cut him like he does, but usyks head movement is on another level
>>114155510They’ll be back next time he fights, but I doubt it will quite reach the peak of the week leading up to the Fury Wilder 3 fight.
>>114155320>what God wanted me to experience was far greater than what I expected to happenHeart status: Softened
At what point does Wilder get a pass for being a retard? He's quite possibly the dumbest pro athlete I've ever seen in my life. I'd estimate his IQ to be in the 70s, maybe even high 60s. That's how dumb you'd have to be to think Mark Breland spiked your water, and that's how dumb he is. At what point do we say a man can't pick his IQ?
>>114154838Too much bussy
tell me a fight to watch right now pls
>>114155643The point at which he's a boxer and doesn't need to have an IQ above 85 to punch people professionally.
>>114155712Joe Smith Jr vs Maxim Vlasov
>>114151972he is 40 years old.
Ohononono, fury bros... He's DUCKING Usyk
>>114155712Here are the current Foty contenders for 2021
>>114155842Those are some terrible fights, bad year for boxing. Thank fuck Fury came in clutch at basically the end of the year.
What if not just Wilder, but Fury also is never the same after Saturday? What if we just watched Ali-Feazier III?
>>114155712Nonito Donaire vs Naoya Inoue is a great one I rewatched just today
>>114155924Usyk Aj fight was much better.Fury wilder was just two gassed out plodders.
>>114155712What are the best HW or cruiserweight fights to rewatch? I can't watch manlets.
>>114155974Whyte-Chisora 2 was good
>>114155938He didn't get mauled like Wilder did twice now. He got dropped hard but he rolled most of the punches, there was a flurry at the end of round 9 or 10 that caught Fury a few times but other than those he had it pretty one-sided. Fury should be fine, Wilder got brutalized twice in a row.>>114155960It was a good fight but it wasn't a *great* fight, slavalito. Fury/Wilder 3 was great, Usyk/Joshua was good.Fury/Wilder 3: 10/10Usyk/Joshua: 7.5-8/10
>>114155938Fury was out partying straight after the fight, I'm sure he's fine
>>114156054There's no question who took the bigger beating, but last night was also the biggest consistent beating Fury took in his career.

>>114156192Love a good bumfight me
>>114156054I prefer boxing than two gassed out plodders.
>>114154838>everything is closedMove. It’s that fucking simple. Move to Houston. Move to LA. Simple as. Fucking retard.
>>114155827Doubtful. Even if he "retires" he'll be back in 2 years anyway.
>>114155827There's no one left for Fury to fight. He probably will fight Usyk but he's way too big for the man, and too good to get schooled like Joshua did.
>>114154622Honestly a lot of Africans that aren't Nigerians are pretty based.
>>114156262Usyk from the AJ fight beats the plodding, slow, clumsy Fury from the last fight.
>Euwank's opponent is literally named "Wank"
>>114156151>>Taylor vs Ramirez>not a good fightKys faggotman
Link to Usyk vs AJ full fight?
>>114155974Toney vs jirov10/10
>>114155320Why is modern boxing so soulless and fake? Neither fighter wrote those statements.
>>114155827I believe Fury will retire. In his head he's undisputed and probably realises that if he can't motivate himself, he's risking getting beat by a skilled operator like Usyk or even hypothetical Punished AJ. If he doesn't beat the winner of Usyk-AJ 2 then he can't go down as a GOAT contender in my eyes. You need to clean out your era, not fuck around with technicalities. And yeah he'll keep coming back every few years like Bhop because fighting is the ultimate crack
>>114156426>9 posts earlyfuck off
Georgette sisters... he's 146, hes ready
>>114156666why does the glove look used?
>>114156676Because he’s using it?
>>114156703its round 2, why does the glove look like it's been used before the fight? why is the knuckle area worn even pre fight?
>>114155842>first fight is a diveNot sure if I should continue reading the list
>>114155634he was humiliated after the 2nd fight, and thought he was humiliated again right after, but then realized most people are saying they were both great and the fight is history book stuff, so he's rolling with it now.
>>114156151Your retarded 13 year old ass doesn't actually watch boxing we know
