>Ferrari’s new PU worth ’10-15hp’ could be delayed>Ferrari’s new power unit is expected to give the Scuderia around “10hp more”, but it won’t be ready before Turkey, or even Austin.>Auto Motor und Sport journalist Michael Schmidt reports that the “new Ferrari PU will probably come at the Turkish GP.>“Massive rebuilds are needed. The whole electrical system will be converted from a 400 to 800 volt system.>“They are talking about 10-15 hp and that could be quite an advantage.”>But while Ferrari are hoping to have the new engine in time for the Turkish Grand Prix, its debut may be delayed until the United States Grand Prix.>Explaining that, Schmidt said that there are “problems with the whole transport of it, because the new power unit is considered a transport of “dangerous goods” and everything has to be declared again because it is a different electrical system.”Uhh... Newfag here, explain what the FUCK was going on in the late 90s
This is why Lewis will never be the GOAT even if he wins 20 WDC's.Schumacher built his success.Lewis inherited his success. In fact, Schumacher built the success that Lewis inherited by those 3 seasons Michaels spent building up the then midfield Mercedes into a race winning team together with Rosberg. FUCK FRAUDMILTON

>>113336187technically 15 if you count osterreich
>>113336128Engines that produce a lot of power at the expense of beating themselves to death quickly. It was even worse in 1980s V6 turbo era. Some teams used an engine for the practice sessions, an engine for qualifying and an engine for the race and all three engines needed either a full rebuild after a Grand Prix weekend or were worn-out beyond recovery and chucked into the bin.It was difficult to project when one of those expensive engines was going to die and often enough it was during the race.

I can't explain it on the radio."Leclerc briefly visited the medical centre but was released shortly afterwards and eventually finished the rest of the Italian Grand Prix weekend.Ferrari explained that Leclerc was simply feeling "slightly ill" but the source of the ailments was said to be "very harsh words" exchanged with his boss Mattia Binotto some time before the session. The tense scene was reportedly witnessed by several observers and Leclerc's manager, Nicolas Todt, also had to get involved. Tension and anger built up before the session. But why?Binotto is said to have caused Leclerc angst by informing him that Ferrari would focus more on the development input of his team-mate, Carlos Sainz, as the Spaniard's comments are more reliable according to Ferrari engineers. For now Ferrari has not commented on these speculations but Mattia Binotto had some words this weekend about the Scuderia's situation that resonate differently."Ferrari is something unique. The most important thing to understand is that it is a unique family, a unique phenomenon. I always say to my guys: it's more important to be Ferrari than to win, because the wins are just a consequence of being Ferrari.""I cite the example of Gilles Villeneuve. He was a fantastic driver who actually won very little. But his behaviour, his driving style, his passion had a huge impact."

>>113337961Icuanon here,Brain trauma is a bitch.Without access to his medical file i cant of course say anything concrete but from personal experience and what is known publicly it doesnt look good at all.It took him months before he showed signs of being awake. That's a long ass time. It's not like in the movies where you wake up from one moment to the other and are fully awake. He sustained a head injury with intracranial bleeding. The blood pushes against the brain. Imagine the brain as an intricate machine with lots of little gearwheels. If you put pressure on one gearwheel the whole machine stops working as it should. If there is high intracranial pressure the brain has nowhere to go and pressure keeps increasing further preventing the brain's gearwheels to turn, further damaging the brain. There is only one exit the brain can take to escape the mounting pressure: the foramen magnum, the hole in the base of the skull where the spinal cord leaves the skull. If pressure gets to high the brain will squeeze into this hole. It's called herniation of the brain. Of course the brain cant fit through and critical parts of the brain like the breathing center and the central arousal center (think of it as a sort of on switch for the brain) in the brainstem will get irreparably damaged, you lose your breathing capapbilities and consciousness and die.To prevent a herniation you can use drugs and out the patient's back 30° uprigjt. Anaesthetics keep the brain calm and you need to control blood pressure to prevent the bleeding from continuing. You monitor the intracranial pressure by putting a probe in the patient's brain, mesuring it directly in the brain. Sometimes anaesthetics and physical measures arent enough and you need to consider surgery. You can take the bleeding out of the skull, giving the brain more room again or you can straight up remove half (or even the entire) roof of the skull to give the brain more room.Cont

>>113338613ContThe brain swells after injuries, further complicating the matter of intracranial pressure. Now, iirc Schumi got his hemicraniectomy or removal of bleeding three days after the accident. Those cases have bad outcomes mostly because you lose too much time before surgery. It means that his pressure was not high enough in the beginning to justify open skull surgery but instead the pressure rose slowly and they probably exhausted their pharmacological options first. It's justified to do that because of the high risks of the surgery but if the drugs fail you lost valuable time. Time is brain. After surgery you'll keep the patient sedated and slowly phase out the anaesthetics once pressure is normal again. Then, you play the waiting game and wait for the patient's system to eliminate the anaesthetics and for the brain to resume its functions. Up to this point it's impossible to make a precise prognosison recovery. You just wait for something to happen, see if they wake up. After three days without any sedatives you can safely assume that any absence of consciousness is most likely not due to the drugs but brain damage. Then you can run some diagnostics, cat scans, EEGs but still you cant say anything definitive. When the brain recovers, and the swelling stops first the most basic functions return, opening eyes, breathing etc... Basically your brain's gearwheels start turning again. It takes them sometime to run in synchronicity againIirc it took Schumi months to show first signs being awake. That is a very bad sign, the worst swelling is over after a week or so, from the moment on pressure is normal again the brain cells couldnwork again, the longer it takes them to the more brain damage you have and full recover is wishful thinking.Combining all of this with Migg's comments gives me a very grim feeling. Schumi is probably a full blown veggie, maybe he has his eyes open and reacts to certain basic stimuli in a vegetative manner but nothing moreGrim

>>113339358What is it about women in 80's fashion & hairstyles that makes me so rock hard
Long but please please read through. Context : Dad started watching F1 in his teens and was a huge fan of Prost so obviously hated Senna. So naturally me and my brother started F1 early when I was 8(2007). I was a Lewis Hamilton fan since then and for that precise reason, my brother opposed Lewis and eventually became Sebastian fan and now supports Max for the championship. But if one of the drivers perform awesome moves on the track, or pulls out a legendary quali lap, both of us genuinely enjoy it and talk about it for a long time. I was genuinely disappointed when Max couldn't race in Silverstone. We had same opinions in both the crashes - Silverstone and Monza. I almost cried when Seb crashed out in Germany. I was still supporting Lewis, but the image of zillion cameramen surrounding Seb in the pitlane broke my heart. But given the hate and huge division of opinions in 4channel and twitter, I thought we were some higher level people for not being hugely biased and hating the guts of other driver. But I realised it stemmed from our dad. Today, we were watching Schumacher together and Senna's crash scene came. My dad paused and was like "That was the season, young gun Schmui was challenging a legend Senna. I wanted Schumi to win badly that season and hated Senna's guts. But when he crashed in a crucial race(Imola), my immediate reaction was happiness but the moment when Senna was lifelessly thrown away in the two-wheeled crushed car, I started crying. It's a repeat of Friday. Everyone was sure he died. The legend of the sport lost his life" 2 legends of the sport, Ayrton Senna is no more and Michael Schumacher cannot lead a normal life.1/2

Everyone's heard of his dominant period, but his climb with Ferrari throughout the '90s is often unsung. Also your dad sounds based.
Make a new bread you semen slurping yurps.

>>113339358S O U LOUL
Schumi… I don’t really dare to watch the documentary since I don’t want to cry like a little bitch, regardless of how good or bad the documentary is
>>113340128>He also said that Binotto needs to go back at being an engineer and that engineers need to stop trying to be managers and that Ferrari needs a proper managerYour dad is a knower, because that is 100% accurate.Binotto quit doing the thing he's good at to do something he's bad at instead, at the expense of whole team.
>>113339880Never really heard him rave too much about Senna. The only time he mentioned him was to specify he was at a picnic during the 1994 Imola GP kek
>>113338569Fuck the nostalgia I feel seeing that Kimi/Schumi pic.God I loved the early 2000's
>>113339215I volunteer as the guy who, ironicaly, not being familiar to snowy mountains, trips and bashes his head against a rock, ending up in a coma for the remainder of his life.
>>113339479Senna was a faggot the was praised by our media and later idolized because he died. Piquet will always be the best brazilian driver.
>>113338250>>113338995Disgusting. It's water and coffee only
>>113338749Who made this, what kind of retard faggot nigger comes up with this shit, what type of moronic thumb twiddling cuck would think this is funny enough to post on the internet?
>>113338860What if, Russell told them he's gay to secure a drive at Mercedes since Mercedes and F1 are so into pushing LGBT faggotry shit.
>tfw no gf
>>113339215Starring a German über-Fan of Schumi, a Brazilian, a Brit they suspect is actually there to kill him because he hates Schumi and loves Hill instead, and a quiet Finn that is never seen until it turns out to be either Miga or Gimi
