Broke kid from Greece 10 years ago. One of the most accomplished basketball players alive today. Kino.
>>
*
>>
>>111275286
They look so happy man.
>>
>Kawhi probably out most if not all of next season
Should he opt out and is he worth taking a risk on?
>>
So giannis has surpassed dirk as the greatest international player of all time right?
>>
>>111275447
He will get injured every year and didnt do shit in LAC when healthy except lose 3-1. Sign and trade him to the Mavericks, then when he gets hurt again the picks are more valuable

Build around PG13
>>
>>111275454
At this point yes
>>
>>111275286
Pretty nice digs from a "broke kid"
>>
>>111275454
This will get the white bois mad but Hakeem was already the better international player

It’s Mallory edens.

>>111275503
Anon, intentionally fouling is definitely a strat, especially for poor free throw shooters. Calm down.
>>

The bucks owners daughter Mallory Edens.
>>

I wonder how broke you are if that looks good.
>>
>>111275176
Lame
>>
>>111275514
They can stay mad. Dirk isn’t better than fucking Hakeem. With this resume I have to say Giannis has to be the best
>>
>>111275504
This photo was probably taken in the early 2000sz the TV looks like it’s from the early 90s and Giannis has the only pair of basketball shoes on, which he probably got at a thrift store for 5 dollars.
>>
>>111275176
Monty not benching Paul for Cam Payne and Ayton being completely shut down by Giannis is the story of the Finals
>>
>>111275648
Hakeem had less help and injury luck en route to his two titles, he has the better resume
>>
>>111275683
You realize that they had no better paint defender the Ayton right? You think Kamisky stops Giannis? The story of the finals is the suns choking and Giannis playing like prime Shaq.
>>
>>111275611
>>111275608
Thanks. Absolutely beautiful.

Also shout out to all my Milwaukee bros here. Which one of you jumped over the bridge last night?
>>
Imagine living in Milwaukee and needing fake rings
>>

I don't know or care, and I'm already sick of seeing her.
>>
Why are Embiid and Jokic held in higher regard than Giannis?
>>
>>111275848
Greek*
>>
>leNeedsmoreHelp
>>
>>111275713
I said Ayton being shut down by Giannis not Ayton not shutting down Giannis

And yea the Suns choke and thats because Monty’s undying loyalty to CP3 refusing to give Payne his minutes, the Suns offense looked way better every time he was in and he’s quicker and younger than CP3 so he had no issues slicing through the Bucks defense, he also facilitated for Ayton too, dude had 10 points in ten minutes and didnt play the rest of the game, Monty is a hack
>>
>>111275608
I understand that dude, but in what universe would the Suns intentionally get Booker and Ayton in foul trouble? That’s literally the stupidest shit I have ever heard. They both got constantly in foul trouble because of the softest calls ever. Meanwhile Giannis is over there running people over and elbowing in the face like it’s a hockey game.

>Giannis didn’t want to be seen as a nice gentleman on the court; he wanted to be seen as someone who would tear your heart out. He tried to pattern his scowl after Russell Westbrook’s scowl. Giannis loved Westbrook: his demeanor, his speed, but especially his scowl. Giannis came into practice once, scowling and grunting. “This is my new thing,” Giannis told his teammates.
>Afterward, his teammates asked him, “What is that? Where’d you get that from?” They assumed he’d learned the scowl from YouTube—where he learned everything in those days.
>Giannis laughed. “Oh,” Giannis said casually in a “this old thing?” kind of tone, “I took it from Westbrook.”

Book was only ever in foul trouble for one game, but in that game he was able to get away with two incredibly obvious fouls.
Ayton just has to do a better job of using his size and staying vert the right way.
>>
The worst mistake the Suns could make is giving Paul a huge contract, let him walk

>b-but whos gonna be their point guard next year!!1
Cameron Payne until they can find an upgrade and there’s nothing wrong with that

>b-b-but they won’t be a contender without CP3!!1
And they won’t be a contender with him either, they had their shot and blew it it was a nice one season and you took a shot but back to rebuilding this team for the future, i doubt those young guys will look up to CP3 the same way after that collapse and he will eventually start to annoy them like he does all his teammates after the first year, end it now

They also need to consider moving Bridges for an upgrade at wing, someone who can create their own shot, letting him continue to develop isnt bad either but if they can get an instant upgrade they need to take it
>>
>>111276364
>I will ask this question, do you think the bucks can repeat?
Definitely. We don’t know if the Nets can stay healthy, and simmions still can’t shoot and the bucks are better than the Hawks.
>>
>play athletic 7 footers at small forward, all day every day regardless, put a shorter and stockier defender at 4, and just keep an extra big handy for the 5, he doesn't need to be good

>The Los Angeles Lakers are interested in acquiring a veteran point guard, sources tell Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

>Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook are on the Lakers' list.

>For the Lakers to acquire Paul, it would likely require the Phoenix Suns to participate in a sign-and-trade. The Lakers can only offer Paul a starting salary of $9.5 million with their taxpayer midlevel of exception. Paul orchestrated an opt-in and trade in leaving the Los Angeles Clippers for the Houston Rockets in 2017.

>If the Lakers were to acquire Westbrook, it would be via trade with the Washington Wizards likely involving Dennis Schroder, Kyle Kuzma and Talen Horton-Tucker.

Suns fans deserve this loss. Acted like they won the championship when they the kawhiless Clippers. Then spammed up the board with phoneposted memes and bragged about winning. Go up 2-0 and think they won. Ur was a pleasure to to then go from suns in 4,5,6,7 to calling the Bucks frauds when they benefited more from other teams being injured. >>
>>111277430
Honestly if they can figure out a way to get a couple decent defensive wings on the roster, and maybe another center, they should be sneaky good. Unfortunately, that's really hard to do. They do have some pieces to deal - Hield in particular should have some value - but there's just not that many guys available who can really move the needle for them. Simmons would legitimately solve a ton of their issues, but if they have to give up Barnes to get him, that makes their depth a lot worse, so it's tricky.

Lebron isn’t a ringless all time great a year or two away from fading into obscurity. If Chris Paul wants to be in LA and wants to win with Lebron he’ll find a way to make it work for long term MLE at least.

The funny thing is it's easy to recognize the thing that separates Tom Brady from EVERYONE is he always played under his value at a discount just to win. Media will say "well his wife makes $40 mil a year." I could live pretty decently off $25 mil a year without a wife who makes $40

Tom Brady is literally just a normal guy, except he trains every day never takes vacations and has been on a constant strict diet for decades to maintain his physical state, also takes pay cuts to help his team. He wasn't born like that, he sacrificed and worked for literal decades to be where he is.
>>
>>111279269
He has some of the only 60-win and 70-win team defeats in the postseason. This is about 50-win teams.
>>
>>111279299
And the mere glow of his greatness got to a point where his presence can will a new team to the championship because every player looks in the mirror and says I have to try the hardest I ever have in my life cause it won't be Tom Brady's fault we lost. Tom Brady doesn't even have to actually be a leader his mere presence makes people follow.

I swear Spurs better not draft at 12th and then send their pick to the G-League or just sit him at the end of the bench and just get garbage minutes. You don't pick a player that high just to let him do fuck all, you do that for 2nd round picks and late first round players that need tweaks to their game.

>None of those teams come close to beating any of those western finals teams
The Celtics blew out the Lakers by 40 fucking points in the 2008 finals and took the chip. They held Kobe to 22 points. Not a weak East team.

The 60-win Orlando Magic team in 09 that beat Lebron averaging 38ppg that series somehow fucking lost to Kobe averaging 32ppg in the finals.

The Pistons were champions 3 years prior to being eliminated by Lebron in 07 but were still a 59-win team with most of the same cast when it happened.

Derrick Rose's Bulls had the best record in the NBA with 62 wins and had plenty of talent.

The East was not weak. The top teams were very good.

he coached circles around monty but you don't hear a peep about it from the media and it's all about how great monty is. in every series the bucks went down early and he made adjustments and the team played better the further the series went on. i like monty a lot but he got exposed hard as being more of a inspirational/spiritual ra-ra coach that's good at developing young talent and doing fuck all when it came down to x's and o's and adjustments. pretty much the complete opposite of bud and giannis is the real leader that lifts the team in timeouts/half and gives speeches, it's a ying and yang that really worked out.

first off none of those except drose were during the Lebron finals run and rating any thibs team based on their regular season record is foolish. 2nd those celtics teams were never quite the same once KG blew out his knee; still very good but a clear notch below what they were in 08, probably stopping them from being a dynasty (or doc rivers). The pistons were a shell of their championship selves post-ben wallace which is coincidentally when Lebron broke through the 1st time. The magic were a complete fluke that accidentally played ahead of their era and quickly folded to a real team that could contain their no skill big 1v1, another example of how weak the east was

I don't think there were any adjustments for Monty to make, really. The Suns had an advantage at the start of the series, Bud made adjustments and they worked, and the Suns didn't have any cards left to play. The Bucks successfully went small, the Suns couldn't go smaller to match them because they didn't have the personnel to do so, and that's kinda all she wrote. Plus Ayton and Bridges are ridiculously young to be playing crucial roles on such a big stage.

>>
>>111280243
Giannis has been a lot of things, but timid was not one of them. The main difference between this run and the rest is he's going offball more instead of initiating at the top of the key and he hit FTs. Even against the raptors and heat with their "walls" if he hits his FTs they win both series
>>
>>111280335
>Giannis has been a lot of things, but timid was not one of them.
I'm thinking of the stuff like plays where he drives, it doesn't work, so he backs off and tries to drive again. That kinda shit. Maybe timid isn't the right word. Is he going to keep doing that shit? Or is he going to play offball more and do varied bigman stuff?

Wade was on the decline when Lebron went and more often than not Lebron was carrying Wade. People like you like to suck Bosh off like he was a superstar and also claim Lebron played in a weak Eastern Conference, so if that’s true how come Bosh only led the Raptors to the playoffs once from 2003-2010? So either the Eastern Conference was actually difficult and superstar Bosh couldn’t get the 8th seed more than once or Bosh just wasn’t that guy. So which is it?

That wasn't even the problem. The real problem for Thon Maker was being 3-5 years older than his listed DOB and John Hammond knew this when he drafted him. Even if he played wing, he would've slowed down a lot during his "mid 20s". It's the reason why he's "working on his game" and not playing for Australia this olympics.
I liked watching the guy play since "8th grade" but let me say this:
How often does a 7 foot tall "8th grade" kid show up and doesn't grow any taller after "8th grade"?

love to see it, you should be scared after last night because there's a new king. jordan's team was homegrown and he stayed with them his whole career after many initial failures, sure rodman came in eventually. your logic is if khris middleton ultimately became a hall of famer that giannis couldn't do it without him and, clearly there's no comparison between the 2. lebron jumped to 2 different other super teams to shamelessly ring chase and was an insufferable faggot on and off the court throughout. undoubtedly one of the greats but his whole career has been about ego, money and legacy. he's extremely unlikeable from a laundry list of things; politiking and gm'ing behind the scenes, flopping and whining up and down the court, quiting when the going gets tough, being a hypocritical know-nothing puppet for social justice, the democratic party and china, the whole decision special under the veil of muh charity, not 1 not 2 but 5 rings and then choking harder than any athlete we've ever seen the following year, etc etc etc. pathetic the way you tirelessly defend this dude.

wrong. losing saric who played like 2 minutes in their game 1 win shouldn't completely wreck your team. frank kaminsky minutes last night actually worked and he unironically looked better than ayton last night, he even blocked giannis once last night and gave some good energy and much needed defense, monty inexplicably waited until a game 6 close out game to play him. most of his rotations didn't work, cam payne and cp3 on the court at the same time failed miserably. they went away from who they were and what got them there- hoosier style basketball of passing the ball and getting cam johnson, bridges and everyone involved and just reverted to booker/cp3 iso heroball. that's strictly on the coach. once they went away from their philosophy, ayton became inept offensively(he couldn't beat lopez 1v1) and got completely demoralized on defense by giannis. phoenix could have built a semblance of a wall to make it harder for giannis but monty let him have an historical finals and left ayton hung out to dry with crowder swinging over for help only sometimes. let milwaukee's inconsistent shooters beat you and not a generational talent like the freak.

1. Meme chucking is bad and you should never spam it.
2. Midgets can't get rebounds.
3. Defense wins championships.
4. The mid-range jumper is the greatest shot ever and all analytics fags can eat a dick
5. Coaches challenges are absolutely worthless because refs still won't get calls right.

You want an Eastern conference team because of the lesser time difference. Of those, your best bets would be
>Pistons
Just started a rebuild, but they had a wildly successful draft last year and with #1 this year they are in the position to have a very exciting young core. They were not actually as bad as their record indicated either. Their GM has made some weird looking moves, but they have all turned up aces so far.
>Hornets
They're a little further along than the Pistons. They already have the a dynamic young players and a guy who is probably a franchise cornerstone. If Hayward stays healthy (lol) they should make the playoffs next year, and if their management is good long-term they can build something special.

The Knicks and Hawks are also building some nice teams, but it really depends if you feel like it would be bandwagoning considering the big market in NY and the deep playoff run the Hawks just had. In the end it's all up to you.
>>
Did Killian Hayes look like shit or was it just legit too early to tell? Don’t recall seeing a good game from the guy like ever
>>
>>111289781
He shot poorly, missed half the season, came back, and continued to shoot poorly. Bright side is he's a fairly good facilitator even with his poor scoring and will probably be one of the better defenders at guard. Bad side is his own scoring+ shooting was awful. Overall too early to tell either way
>>
>>111289781
>>111289878
FT% is good, which is usually a good indicator for shooting

The scoring + shooting is something that you could reasonably hope is likely to improve just by adding strength and getting older, although obviously that doesn't always happen ; but then on the other hand not every French point guard is Frank Ntilikina either

only person better on this list than lebron is timothy duncan.
>Kobr
needed phil jackson to do anything with his teams. whenever he didn't he was just a shot jacker.
>Durant
literally can't even position himself behind the 3-pt line when it matters the most. coasted to chips with the warriors and blew a 3-1 lead on OKC (although you could just blame that on westbrook KD should've just manned up and demanded to take over a close out game)

>Kawaii
very good player but he's never healthy. and his lack of intangibles makes him not the best leader, which is why his team dropped a 3-1 lead last year. hopefully he can stay healthy next year so we can really see him go on a run with the clips. if he even resigns there.
>Curry/Giannis
These to can surpass lebron if they're able to win more chips and mvps. right now their careers aren't far along enough. both of these players shit on lebron currently though.

For this to be a 90s picture, Giannis would have been 5-6 years old at most, and you can clearly see he's not that young. You have single digit IQ. Also, no matter how much you screech, Greece does not have living standards the same as Western European countries.

This is more like a 70s era championship, this is the most injured All NBA players in history so it’s not about Lebron or Curry not being there.

In the 70s half the all NBA team was in the ABA so we saw shit teams like Washington and the Bucks win the Finals, same difference here.
>>
>>111302208
>Oladipo is an all star and the Heat gave up assets/players to acquire him.
Dipo has always been injury prone. Heat knew what the risk.
>Kyrie and Harden are literally All NBA
I agree the had the Nets big three been Bucks would have lost, but you could say the same for every teams playoff run. What if KD and Klay didn’t get hurt in 2019? Warriors would have won but everyone(most) respects the Raptors ring. What if Rose never tore his acl in 2012? Does lebron make that finals? What if Love and Kyrie didn’t get hurt in 2015? Does curry still win? When saying that a championship is invalid because of a role players injury like Hunter or Saric, you are opening up a can of worms because almost every championship has had a role player or starter go down at some point you jin the playoffs.

Just think about it anon and come back to me.
>>
>>111302364
Invalid comparison given more All NBA guys were injured this year than ever before. Injuries happen but not to this accord prior to a shortened offseason. Therefore this ring is invalid.
>>
>>111302236
She is totally going to fuck him later

Washington has guys like Wes Unsled. Bucks literally had Kareem and Oscar Robertson.

A ring is a ring.
>>
>>111301574
Yes.
>>
>>111302437
And the ABA had guys like Rick Barry and Julius Erving simultaneously, guys who won NBA titles and were perennial all stars when the leagues merged. What part of this are you missing?

A title is meaningless if you do not play half of the NBA all star team which is why no one ranks Unsled or Dick Van Arsdale.
>>
>>111302408
>Invalid comparison given more All NBA guys were injured this year than ever before. Injuries happen but not to this accord prior to a shortened offseason. Therefore this ring is invalid.
Is that the Bucks fault that other teams couldn’t keep their players healthy and that we are in a pandemic? You cannot just completely invalidate the ring, also nice to know that you just threw everything I said in the trash and came at me with some stupid point.

bros i can't imagine the emotions when brodie wins his ring. It' gonna be KG levels of feels
>>
>>111302531
Everything you said was trash and irrelevant, again, given we have never had this many injuries before. The Bucks can not control that anymore than they can control the fact their ring is an * and real hoopers still know you have to go through Lebron to get a legitimate title
>>
>>111302408
Also to add on to my point in 2019 multiple all Nba players went down (Klay, KD). You logic is that your favorite team didn’t win so the bucks ring is invalid when the Bucks championship was earned. Injuries are part of the game

You went from naming random roles players that went down to all nba I will keep it their

Bucks all nba player injured list
Heat-None
Nets-KD. Kyrie
Hawks-None
Total-2

Suns all nba players injuried list
Lakers-AD, Lebron
Nuggets-Murray
Clippers- Kawhi
Total-4

Half the all nba players the Bucks didn’t even play, and reminded Giannis did go down at one point and wasn’t healthy games 1 and 2.

>calls my point to stupid to argue with
>proceeds to post a Twitter link just reiterating what he said before
>>
>>111302656
Harden isn’t an all NBA player now because he wasn’t selected due to missing games? Regardless it’s obvious the Bucks lose if one of those two are healthy. The fact they didn’t have to go through full strength Atlanta, Miami or Phoenix in addition to the Nets that were beating them casually by 40 before their all NBA/MVP went down is just icing on the cake for the fact this entire playoffs would be an * regardless of the victor.
>>
Asterisk arguments are completely retarded considering you could asterisk almost every championship going back to the 2000s
Why do people still argue over this?
>>
>>111302657
Until said 36 year old loses while healthy the league runs through Lebron who was FMVP last year. The Lakers are the best team in the league provided it doesn’t collude against them and punish them and the Heat in particular with the shortest off-season in history
>>
>>111302797
Name one playoffs in that stretch with 10 All NBA players going down with injuries (you can’t). This ring is clearly an * only those with a rooting interest in the NBA’s performance would argue otherwise
>>
>>111302822
>Until said 36 year old loses while healthy
lebum will blame injury every season he loses until he retires since his ego cant handle accepting responsibility
>>
>>111302191
True, any team could have won in OT, but it was especially gay they way the play went, how embiid literally set a screen on simmons, how the timing was perfect, how close his hand was to challenge the shot, how many times the ball bounced on rim, fighting against the magnets.
>>
>>111302861
Injuries are a part of the game anon. You still have a game to play. It’s not like they got hurt and the teams just cakewalked. They still had to get out there, play and earn their stints to the finals.
Nonetheless, I’m not saying much more than that. Like I said, I could find a valid reason to asterisk every ring after ‘99. Every ring is unique and had their own unique battles/struggles. Can’t take away credibility from anyone because that would be disingenuous.
>>
>>111302913
How is he responsible the NBA shortened the off-season resulting in injury for himself and AD? Hard to win with both your superstars out or limited especially in the West.
Meanwhile Giannis and the Suns had a path cleared for them by aforementioned injuries
>>
>>111302861
So I’m guessing your a lakers, suns, nets or sixers dan (they love to shitpost). I am a Bulls dan, so I don’t care for the bucks. I’m just saying that your argument is stupid almost every year has had all nba players go down or not play at full strength at some pint in the playoffs
>>
>>111302944
You are being completely disingenuous by suggesting that the most all stars in history all getting injured simultaneously after the shortest off-season in all history is equivalent to anything that has occurred in the past.
Giannis went out and played weaker teams to win the *, compare that to 2016 when Lebron had to beat a 73 win team and you will see why it is not considered a real ring

>>
>>111302992
Except you are completely wrong, only about half as many all stars have gone down in years previously in the playoffs. That is completely deviant from years past and therefore a unique * championship in which two completely undeserving teams competed for a meaningless ring

Typically the NBA finals features the most talented players in the league competing for a championship. This was just who was left
>>
>>111302970
why are you suggesting that it was the nba who sabotaged lebum's season?
bucks and suns had to deal with the same schedule
>>
>>111303059
Suns did not even make the playoffs the last year and Bucks did not make it out the second round. Lebron played way more basketball than either team with less rest time, small wonder he and AD went down when they did

Suns and Bucks benefited from being worse in years past than Lebron whereas he was punished for being consistently in title contention
>>
>>111303024
>Giannis went out and played weaker teams to win the *, compare that to 2016 when Lebron had to beat a 73 win team and you
Just because one team had a harder path to the championship doesn’t completely invalidate a championship you idiot.
>>
>>111303089
>whereas he was punished for being consistently in title contention

More like punished for being a pussyass bitch.
>>
>>111303097
One team playing in a league with 10 all stars missing games is the equivalent to an ABA team winning a title. Why do you think the last time small market teams like the Bucks and Washington competed for championships was during an era where half the talent wasn’t out on the floor?
Teams like that aren’t built to win championships when everyone is available.
>>
>>111303167
He’s pussy but actually won real rings? Giannis is hard for getting through the Nets with no Kyrie or Harden? Keep in mind Lebron beat a 73 win team, no *
>>
>>111303058
>Typically the NBA finals features the most talented players in the league competing for a championship. This was just who was left
Injuries are part of the game. You are again opening up a can of worms. Every year since 2000 a player has gone down that could have given a team the series. What if I told you that two number one seeds in the finals is rare
>>
>>111303196
Draymond was suspended in the finals. Asterisk.

See how that works, now?
>>
>>111303218
No year since 2000 has had more than 5 All Stars go down, this one had 10. So this is a uniquely * year

This is not difficult to understand
>>111303262
Draymond played the next two games. They blew a 3-1 lead

Also how does Draymond committing a tech after having committed several techs resulting in a suspension (something he has complete control over) compare to legitimate freak injuries that athletes have no control over? Lmao you dumb fucks just hate that Lebron has that record and develop extremely short memory of that Finals to try and diminish it then simultaneously laud Giannis for winning against zero healthy teams?

This makes no sense. Injuries are part of the game :
>>
>>111303473
I don’t understand how you fail to appreciate this year had significantly more all star injury due to the shortened off-season, objectively so. Winning a title in a league replete of talent has traditionally been evaluated differently, which is why Bill Walton and Walt Frazier rings are not as meaningful as Isiah Thomas or Michael Jordan’s.
>>
>>111303196
>muh real and fake rings

What's important is if you're a real nigga or not. lebitch is an embarrassment.

>which is why Bill Walton and Walt Frazier rings are not as meaningful as Isiah Thomas or Michael Jordan’s.
Rings have different value. Non are invalid or weak. Especially for things the team can’t control
>>
>>111303537
If rings have different value how can none of them be weak? KD and Giannis have the weakest rings in the modern era, whereas Lebron has the strongest
