Anyways, about the Harden trade. People just add Kyrie/KD/Harden together and assume three 30 point scorers put together means they'll drop 90 a game because they just added the numbers up. Things aren't always that simple in reality. It's about chemistry too. Lots of times, ESPECIALLY on a championship-level team like my Lakies, players have to *condense* their games, so to speak. Especially where they may not get to touch the ball as often on offense as they'd like. They have to find other ways to positively contribute if their goal is to win a title. This is where having a well-rounded skill set helps. You can just pick the right tool out of the toolbox when you need to. And this kind of thing might take time. We'll see how the Nets do. The underrated thing about LeBron/AD's instant success on my Lakies may not have been their scoring, but what they can do on the court OUTSIDE of scoring, which may very well be more even MORE valuable than the points they score. But they can both still score too obviously ;)

One more thing I wanted to add is that KD/Kyrie/Harden all can get BUCKETS, which is very valuable in any situation. As in, they can create their own shot and get it off against any defense. They don't always need a dime but it helps. It's easier if they do obviously but during the course of a game, sometimes you'll be able to get a wide-open shot, sometimes you won't. It really depends on the situation and matchup. Anyways, people obviously have their opinions on *superteams*, BUT one thing I've definitely noticed is how much additional interest and attention this trade has produced for the league in general. Even I'm kind of more enthusiastic when I'm usually a bit jaded ;) Even if it means my Lakies will have a more challenging road to a repeat, speaking from a league-wide perspective it does increases the level of competition and quality of play which helps move things forward in general. This can very well be a good thing ;)
