How can I filter false info from google?
>>
To filter false information, you must first define what constitutes "true information"
>>
kidnap page and force him to rollback google to its 2012 state
>>
>>13887919
True information means information that is true, as opposed to false information, which is false.
>>
>>13887880
critical thinking
>>
>>13887935
please define the word "means"
>>
>>13887942
To mean something means to have that something as meaning.
=> "True information" has the meaning of "information that is true".
>>
>>13887945
>To mean something means to have that something as meaning.
circular definition
>>
>>13887949
Meaning something means that that something can be substituted for it without change of meaning...
>>
Where meaning is the objective interpretation of a statement.
>>
>>13887935
Is this sentence true.
>>
>>13887880
Google already filters the true information, so to do that just remove every result.
>>
>>13887999
Yes.
>>
Is the reply to this post true?

Retard.
>>

>>13887934
This. Or even better, go back to the original page rank and add some sort of proof of work that can’t be easily gamed
>>
>>13887934
Thanks, Obama.
>>
>>13887880
If you don't like Google then support a different search engine.
>>
>>13887880
you can't, they purposely filter factual info and select for disinfo/misinfo both manually and through NN training
t. work on their algos
>>
>>13887942
please tell me what "define" means
>>
>>13887880
add "reddit" to the end or beginning of the search
>>
>>13888325
Site:old.reddit.com
Works best
>>
>>13888337
Hmm just tested site:old.reddit.com
Returns no results but
site:reddit.com does work
However reddit is terminally pozzed now
>>
>>13887880
Build a hammer using bayesian statistics. shouldn't be that hard
>>
>>13888260
>If you don't like Google then support a different search engine.
Slimy Jewish capitalist canards like this should be punishable with a punch to the face.
>>
>>13888051
Why not duck duck duck duck duck go?
>>
>>13888303
Define is defined as supplying the definition of something.
>>
>>13888051
Duckduckgo's advantage over Google is in better respect for user privacy. It doesn't return significantly different results.
>>
>>13888249
Means is defined as signifying?
>>
>>13888051
tell me something, if duck duck go is so honest, then why is there a former cia/in-q-tel guy on duck duck go's board of directors?
https://alsop-louie.com/team/stephen-mendel/
why is that cia guy the founder's uncle?
why does the founder of duck duck go have an nsa background that he tries to keep secret? why did his father in law do time for bank fraud?
>>
>>13888842
goose!
>>
>>13887880
Don't use google?
>>
>>13887935
but derrida and foucoult say there is no truth and that is who the staff were force fed at university so check your privilege
>>
On the topic of google I came across an interesting anecdote about the origins of the name.
An old comic strip.

>>
currently I use mostly searx, startpage, qwant and metager
>>
>>13887880
use specific websites
wikipedia for basic info
stackoverflow for technical info
wakarimasen for normal people's opinion
etc
reminder that content is not in google but on actual websites so cut google from it
>>
>>13889043
ddg is still a sketchy as fuck site but its results are better than googles so that's why it is used

>wikipedia for basic info
>>
>>13889064
this is not basic info, use another source for political/social subjects
>>
>>13889076
which subjects aren't potentially politicizable?
theres already a long long list of subjects you never previously thought were political or could be politicized that now fall into the political category.
public bathrooms never used to be a political topic, but now it is. same goes for mrs butterworth.
its only a matter of time before the entirely of wikipedia is politically cleansed, you have no idea how much history they've erased already, they hide what they do.
>>
>>13889099
physical science, maths, computer science, cryptography, cybersecurity, etc
this is the most important information by the way
>>
>>13888918
Pretty bad at hiding their own information...
>>
>>13889040
found a collection of old comic strips, I don't know how good they are but I thought I would share them with any curious anons

customizing with a cutoff date can help if you're looking for e.g. medical stuff that isn't tainted with covid narrative
not looking forward to the day they get rid of that feature
>>
>>13888289
Nice larp nigga, they have no control over what their net does
>>

By using your own brain.

Have you ever thought about sabotaging their algos?

>>13889034
>but derrida and foucoult say there is no truth
I read a lot of Foucault and never saw this. Citations?

www.google.com
>>
>>13888027
There is not just one, but three replies to your post, therefore your question is ill-defined.
>>
>>13889716
not a larp at all, not sure why you think that
>>13889857
They don't give individuals that kind of power; there is a lot of redundancy. They also outsource a lot of the manipulation to 3rd party corporations with contractors in order to keep their hands clean and the work discrete/fragmented.
