Goethe is what midwits think is a good philosopher. Someone who says something that sounds profound, but actually, doesn't mean anything at all.
In response to Goethe: your point is?

Goethe is a playwright retard

Four is not defined as two times two. It's defined as SSSS0. And 2x2 = 4 is not simply an instantiation of the reflexivity of the form A=A, but rather it has computational content. The two sides of the equation are not definitionally equal.

he wrote novels too

math is a tool, obviously anyone who admires their shiny shovel all day and thinks that means they can move mountains is an idiot, and so too with someone who thinks math proves or does everything without actually seeking a broader understanding and a way to apply the tools math gives you to logically describe or predict something.

By already knowing what an axiom and definition are and... as he said... building from there

You fucking tard pieces of shit, mathematics is the absolute last bastion of hope for the sciences, and perhaps physics, to a certain extent. Everything else is compromised by midwit redditors spouting "studies". Stop denigrating the language of God. Mathematics is refined spiritual wisdom.
>>
>>13641722
At the same time it's fun, and often the shit mathematicians do for fun ends up getting used in physics applications some decades later.

this is not an argument, midwit.

In fact Goethe literally btfo you stembugs in his play, Fuast;

Faustian bargain, a pact whereby a person trades something of supreme moral or spiritual importance, such as personal values or the soul, for some worldly or material benefit, such as knowledge, power, or riches.

This notion of a Faustian bargain alone is full with substance. You're just too retarded or autistic to understand metaphor, since you are a bug and can't think in abstractions, only numbers

There are no infallible conclusions in math unless you make them fallible by applying definitions from different universes into universes where they don't apply. In fact, mathematics the only domain where we can prove anything at all. This is because we create the rules that govern the universe.
No matter how much we observe within the domains of earthly sciences we will never be able to prove that it this observation will not hold tomorrow. We may one day discover what appears to be the code that describes reality, understand if perfectly, use it to predict future events, and still it will be nothing more than an observation that may tomorrow fail.

Goethe is literally a dumb romanticist who fiddled children. How surprising that he doesnt agree with science when romanticism was in large part inspired by idealism.
He literally said Newton's work was bad for science because muh feels and shit. Any people shilling for him are midwits who need to face reality that his greatest work was him basically defending his affair.

Everybody knows math is racist. Why do you think Oregon did away with it as a requirement for graduating? It helps enforce white cisheteropatriarchal supramecy.
