Summary: You are Maximillian Kolbe, the newest transfer to Imperator Academy. Setting: https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Warhammer_Highhttps://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/2022/5225732/It was just another day in academy. The coldness begin to build up as Fall slowly faded toward white winter. The synthetik leafs gained an orange dye and the chill in the air lightly stung your cheeks. Couple days have passed since then. You and Elyan had gotten close. Dressed in your winter uniform you walked across the hallway. Through the window you saw Elyan conversing with her groupies as always. Despite the friendship you had with her, her position did not allow your friendship be in public. The Daughter of The First, that title carried a weight after all. You stare at the window, the shimmering blind hair, cheery lips, and those sharp yet elegant emerald eyes. It was odd, but you begin to notice that about her. Then again, every Primarch daughters were beauties. You shrugged off the attraction. And with a heavy slap on the back, your attention focuses on the force. “Hello, Furia.” You said cordially.“Yo Max.” Furia said. “What’s with you looking like a shriveled grass?”“Just thinking.” You said with a shrug. “I’ll be heading to the mat later, I need to send off Al and Cathy.”“As usual I know. Why not just invite them to watch?” Furia said. “And let them hear the profanity?” You said with a grin. “They’re gonna learn eventually, might as well learn it from the best.” Furia chuckled. “By the way, my entire family are gathering for a dinner, come with me.” What the flak.“I wouldn’t want to intrude on a family gathering this Friday.” You said politely. “Well the thing is… I kinda boasted you being in my club.” Furia said nervously. “You know, you taking on Freya and Elyan, then beating Julius then beating me heh heh… apparently my uncles heard it too.”You pinch the bridge of your nose and a sigh escapes from your lips.“Uh… sorry?”“Is it mandatory?”“Well, not really. But you know, they’re my uncles, y’know, Primarchs.”“Really? I didn’t know.” You said tiredly. “Friday is Stir-Fryday. You know how much they look forward to that.” “I know I know, you can bring them too!” Furia said. “You’re joking right?”“C’mon you’re my MVP, please? I won’t make you on mat cleaning duty for a month come on!”>Yes>NoWrite-in with the choice. Also, please know that if I don't include the option "Write-in," you cannot write in or combine any options

“Fine.” “Awlright!” Furia cheered. As time went by, you and Furia became good friends through violence. Time to time you tend to refer to as ‘Lady Furia’ much to her displeasure, though by now she learned to ignore it. Right now, you weren’t very happy. It was Friday evening, the date of the “family dinner” like warp it was. There were some details Furia failed to mention.1. Dean Yarrick was also invited,2. There were prominent nobles invited3. It was held in the Imperial palaceYou were dropped off from the vehicle and stood at the entrance of the red carpet. Al and Cathy, held you hands tighter and stood frozen. Along with the giant golden warriors that were the custodes, the astartes, and the photographers, they were paralyzed by the scale of everything. You picked them up both in your hands and quickly went through the main gate. “Ah, young sir, please wait here.”The two guards tap the ground with their spear three times, then they spoke.“Introducing, Maximilian Kolbe, Catherine Kolbe, and Aldous Kolbe.” The guard politely smiled.“Come in, young man, welcome to the Imperial Palace, enjoy the banquet.”Banquet he said… so much for that family dinner. Family dinner your ass. First thing first, you had to look for somewhere quiet, the sound of the crowd was like cheering of crowds. You, and your siblings grew to resent it. You quickly navigated through the halls and found yourself in a relatively empty hall. Now that you think about it, the imperial palace was amazing. The size itself first, you clouds stack fifty land raiders or a thirty leman russ and still not touch the ceiling. Not to mention the gold and red, it was insane that everywhere was just gold. Then the actual elegance of it all, everywhere was just a work of art. The pillars, arches, glass windows, Dean Yarrick’s home was just a shack compared to the palace. You set down Al and Cathy. “I want to go home Max… This place is too loud.” Aldous said. “And crowded, I’m hungry I want-” Catherine said. “Stir fry.” Al finished. You sighed, coming here was a mistake. You could just apologize to Furia on Monday anyways. Suddenly you heard heavy footsteps, from the corner was->Lord Constantin Valdor… >Primarch Vulkan and Primarch Leman Russ>Elyan>Furia>Freya

It was Furia.“Oh, hey Max there you are, I heard the announcement but I couldn’t find you!” Furia said. “Hey Al, Cath.”“Furia!” Al and Cathy beamed at their ‘big-sis’ Furia. Seeing something familiar brought a sense of comfort to them. You however, were simply, pissed. “So Furia.” You said calmly. “Family dinner huh?”Furia scratched the back of her head. The nearing seven foot girl avoided your eyes and nervously chuckled. Al and Cathy held on to your hands but they followed to do the same glare. After all, stir fry was their favorite food. “I mean, we do have our own dinner, yeah. But you know… it comes with the fan fare.” You raise a single eyebrow slowly.“To be fair I’m surprised you didn’t hear about that, it was spreading for weeks.” Furia said. “Is there a quiet room I can have them in?” Furia nodded.“Yeah, we can go to-”>The servants area>Grandpa’s study>Uncle Lion’s study

“Yeah, we can go to Uncle Lion’s study!” Furia said. “It’s at the corner and no one really goes there. Since he has a study of his own back home.”“Uncle Lion, you mean the Lion?” “Yep. Come on, I can feel the kiss-ass nobles slithering.”With not much of an option, you followed Furia. Through twists and turns in the Imperial Palace you arrived to the Study Room of The Lion. As expected, the room was larger than the average house, stacked with all kinds of books and old scrolls. There was a fire place that was being run, strange. Nevertheless, the room was quiet, Al and Cathy had already found themselves a seat, really large seats. “Again, I’ll owe you one, thanks for agreeing to come.”“I’m starting to regret it you know.” You said dryly. “This will have a family dinner right?” “It will, I promise, it’s just that there are some formalities.” Furia said. “We do have family dinners, honest.”“Furia.” It was Elyan, her eyes widened when she met yours. “Max?”“Hey Elyan.”“What are you two doing in father’s- oh.” Elyan paused. “If I recall, Aldous and Catherine are uncomfortable in loud environments. And you invited Max so it’s expected to have them here.”“Yep, sorry for barging in El.” Furia said. “Truly, I hope I’m not intruding.” You said politely. “No worries, your siblings are dear to you I understand that. I’m also hiding to get away from the sycophants for a little while. How have you been?”“Wait, you two are friends?” Furia said. “You have friends other than me?”“We are.” You said. “Indeed.” Elyan said. You then noticed what she was wearing. Elyan wore a long dark green cocktail dress that reached toward her ankle and had frills. On her beck was a crystal necklace that shimmered brilliantly. Underneath her dress was a balck skinsuit that covered the exposed skin.“Max?” Elyan said. >You composed yourself, and answer. “I’ve been fine, and if I may, your dress, it suits you, it matches your eyes.” >“Beautiful.” You let the words slip. There was silence.>“I’ve been fine, how are you, are things… well?”

Classes keeping me busy, I'll get a reply done tomorrow.
Stop.Compose yourself.Yes, she does look beautiful. Yes, you’d love to see that faint smile of hers. But don’t be an idiot. Don’t make it obvious. You composed yourself, and answered. “I’ve been fine.” You cleared your throat. “And if I may, your dress, it suits you, it matches your eyes.”“Oh.” You didn’t know why, but there was a genuine reaction from her. A tinge of light red flushed on her cheeks, it disappeared within seconds of your compliment. The icy exterior returned, save for the plastic smile that you hated to see. Hate? You took yourself back, since when did you care about these things.“Thank you, Max. You look presentable as well.”“Dean Yarrick had a hand in it.”“You’re telling me Dean Yarrick has style?” Furia chuckled. “That’d be the day. I didn’t know he’d take the time of day to help you out.” “Well, not everyone gets invited to a dinner with the, you know, the Emperor himself.” You said with the thickest sarcasm possible. “Thanks for that warning.”“Furia, you didn’t tell him?” Elyan said. “Well, I did say it was a family dinner, you should’ve realized grandfather would be part of it.” “Until then, I’m not moving from here, if that’s ok with you, Elyan.” You said politely. “Of course, be my guest.” “Then I’m off, I’m gonna mess with Phoenicia.”Elyan stared at her with concentrated disappointment.“Please don’t.”“See ya lovebirds!” That word gave a strike to Elyan that you never expected. What made it worse was Al and Cathy both heard it, their ears were high and eyes toward you and her. The silence was heavy, as were your sibling’s not so quiet giggles. Leave it to Furia to appeal to your siblings’ humor. Hunkering from the unwanted attention you and Elyan caught up. It has been a while after all. >Talk about the state of Imperium politics>Ask her how she is doing, regarding the last talk>Talk about your sparring with Furia >[Skip to dinner scene]

“So, Elyan, how are things after the last talk?”She flinched at the innocent question. “It went well.”Somehow, you knew it didn’t go well. From what you’ve been seeing she’s been busy being her usual self. Meaning it was the usual clash of Elyan, Roberta, and Heraius. You’d seen that several times, each running for the seat of the Academy Praetorian. To win that title, many feats were in need to surpass. One of them being, in frankness, popularity. “Well?” You said confusedly. “Well enough.” Elyan said icily. This was rather a bad idea, maybe you could’ve been more subtle but then again that was never your talent. It was until the time had finally come for the ceremonies You took Al and Cathy to the court-hall and gave a brief goodbye to Elyan. It was an awe-inspiring sight to see the Emperor himself. From afar in the crowd, it was still an awe-inspiring sight. After the speech and some ceremonies were done, you did wonder, where was the ‘family dinner’ would be. Also, you wondered where the Primacrchs were. It was strange to not see them with the Emperor. It was then you saw the crowd part ways, the custodes walked toward you.“Maxmillian Kolbe, Aldous Kolbe, Catherine Kolbe, follow me.” And you did, with the crowd watching your steps, much to your family’s displeasure. Though you felt that they weren’t afraid fo the custodes at all. When you finally entered the room for the ‘family dinner’ (which you’ll rub it in Furia’s face for a while) there was a giant. The giant said being was…>Angron>Lion El’jonson >Leman Russ>Write-in
>>5282403>>Lion El’jonsonA Watcher in the Dark told him we were hanging out in his office...
>>5282424>>5282753>>5282679Oh boy, here it goes
The First, The Lion, the Primarch of the Dark Angels. You saw the Primarchs on the vox, countless of times, but Lion El’Jonson? Not so much. He rarely appeared and when he did it was always beside the Emperor or the Warmaster. Even then, you didn’t watch enough to see him clearly. Now that you did, he exuded an aura of authority, elegance, and strength. Per protocol, you introduced yourself. You walked up to him and bowed, thankfully Al and Cathy followed.“My lord, my name is Maximillian Kolbe, this is my younger sister Catherine Kolbe and Aldous Kolbe. We were invited by your niece, Furia. It is an honor.”The Lion, grunted. You quickly shuffled off and took your seat led by the servitor. It was insane to see the room that was pure gold, the furniture alone would fund you and your siblings’ education. Not to mention the Primarch himself. If you thought Elyan was tall… he was taller, far taller, and he was sitting in his seat. The table you sat on was a large round table, big enough to fit a car. Then again, the Primarchs were giants. The Primarch was right across from your seat too, meaning the Emperor would be next to him as well. The seats were raise and you had to make sure Al and Cathy were on it first. They didn’t say anything but you could see the uneasiness in their eyes, strangers, even if they were taught on who they were, were strangers in the end to them. Their distress was clear.“We want to go home.” Aldous and Catherine said not so whisperingly in unison. “Can’t we? This place sucks.”You were sure Primarch El’Jonson heard that, he just didn’t care it seemed. While it didn’t really matter, leaving a dinner with the Primarchs would bring unforeseen consequences, at least that’s what you thought. Imagine the backlash you’d get if someone found out because you ditched the most prestigious invitation of all time. “The dinner won’t be that long, and I promise it’ll be fun.”They were frowning with their bottom lips sticking out.“Come on you two…” You sighed. “I’ll bake brownies.”Their bottom lips retracted but not their frowns.“Marbled brownies.” Those little gremlins…“And with chocolate milk.” They nodded.>The door slammed open, making Al and Cathy flinch, then a loud booming voice echoed. “LION!”>Then there he was, Angron, the Red Angel, even Al and Cathy were in pure awe, smiling. Along with Furia.

>>5283713>The door slammed open, making Al and Cathy flinch, then a loud booming voice echoed. “LION!”Diner and a show.
“LION!” There was a thunderous crash, and a booming voice that didn’t echo, but nearly shattered the very concept of echoing. The floor quaked, with each step a loud thud echoed. Al and Cathy immediately jumped into your arms. From their time in Nuceria, they learned not to scream. Whether it was because of the slaver’s ire or the other gladiator, they knew they were weak, and angering them were suicide.Though, you couldn’t blame them if they did. You would have screamed as well if it weren’t for the fact that who that was. You knew Freya and Elyan shared a strong friendship, whether she admitted it or not. It was an awe inspiring sight. Two giants, one being reluctant into being hugged. Then, a fist thrown at Lion in which the said Primarch easily dodges. Leman Russ laughed again, slapping the solid pauldron. Then, his eyes meet with yours. He leaned down towards you and gives a toothy grin. You stood up from your seat to greet him. Al and Cathy held the each side of your hand.“So yer Max, the one that Furia and my Freya talks about. I heard ye had a draw against Freya.”His accent was thin, but noticeable.“She’s a formidable opponent.”“Cawrse she is, she’s my daughter. Say lad, are ye looking for a career in the astartes?”Absolutely not. “I’ve… entertained the thought.” You glance at yoru siblings, gripping on the hem of your pants whild hiding behind you.“But it’s-”It was then Lion El’Jonson came up behind.“Leman, he has kins to look after.” The Lion said firmly. “They can train to-”“Absolutely not!” You shouted, letting your old Nucerian accent come out “They’ll decide what they want to be, without any influence.” There was an awkward silence, soon filled with Leman’s laugh.“You got wolf’s courage in ye, boy. Not even a general can be so bold.”“Leman, stop making a mockery of yourself.”“Alright, alright,” Leman rolled his eyes. The two Primarchs returned to their seats, and eventually every one arrived. It was then the Emperor finally arrived, after a minute of basking in his presence, the dinner began. The roundtable that seemed giant dwarfed when it was beginning to fill up. Half the circle was occupied by the Primarchs, the other half was by the daughter. In your seat, you were given seat next to Elyan, and on your left was your siblings which were next to…>Freya>Furia>Theta & Eta>Isis (Magnus’s daughter)>Kaligo (Konrad’s daughter) >Write-in

>>5284314>>5284390>>5284805>>5288331Good ol' Furia
It was a good thing that Furia was next to your siblings, once they discovered Furia was Lord Angron’s daughter, they stuck to her like glue. You almost feared Aldous joining the World Eaters sometimes, he admired the astartes and even entertained the idea of being one too many times, too many times for your liking. It would be a stable day in the Warp before you let him become an astartes. The dinner was deadly silent. Save for Lion’s intermittent laughter from teasing Primarch. There was small discussion between Warmaster Horus and Primarch Guilliman. The silence was lording over, louder than the small conversation here and there. And frankly if it kept that way you wouldn’t mind. You just wanted to leave, away from the Primarchs. Keep your head down, and eat, then you’ll be safe.“Kinda boring innit?” Furia whispered to you.You shrugged.“It’s not so bad. Is it always like this?” “The fun happens after dinner, it’s just politics for now.” Furia said. “Even Elyan is being silent.”“I can hear you, dear cousin.” Elyan said. “I know.” Furia said with a grin. “So, how was the little discussion in your dad’s study room?”The Elyan’s cold glare made Furia smile more.“He was a gentleman, befitting of his transfer status.”“Oh, that implies you’ve been hanging around with him. I mean, you’ve been sweaty with him before, and me.” There was a clatter, from Primarch El’Jonson.“Furia.” Lord Angron spoke. “Yes, father dearest?” Furia said with an innocent smile. “Alright alright. It was only teasing, it was just sparring Uncle.”There was no reaction from him, but your heart was beating.“Ha ha… you’re so funny a real joy.” You glared at Furia. She shrugged. Damn it Furia. “Aldous and Catherine was it?” It was Primarch Sanguinius that spoke. “What do you want to be when you grow up?”Thank the Emperor for small mercies.“I want to be a sister of battle!” Catherine said proudly. “I want to join the Order of the White Roses!”That damn vox-ads…“She’s still deciding. She’ll be attending the administratum prep academy after her graduation.” You said. “But-” “Catherine Elizabeth Kolbe.” Your voice was stern, firm. “We will discuss this later.”
>>5290637Ha ha, no. Absolutely not. Nope, no no no. You were going to have a very very long talk.“I want to be… an… an…” Aldous words fumbled, nervous even. “Astartes.”“You’ll do no such thing.” “I want to be an astartes!” Aldous said determinedly. “Like Lord Angron The Red Angel The Lord Of The Red Sands! A World Eater!”“The Lord of what?” Furisa said confusedly.Furia wouldn’t have known, after all that phrase was known to Nucerians only. “Absolutely not! I won’t have you risk your life because of a glorified vox ads.” You growled, and spoke with pressurized anger. “We are not having this conversation now.”“No! I’m gonna be an astartes!”“Aldous Amadeus Kolbe!” “And I’m gonna be a sister of battle too!” “Catherine Elizabeth Kolbe!”“I WANT TO BE AN ASTARTES!” “I WANT TO BE A SISTER!” They ran off after saying it in unison, and the servitor opened the doors to let them. You were about to get out of the chair, if not for Elyan grabbing your hand. This attracted Primarch El’Jonson’s attention.“You’re only going to make it worse.” Elyan said. “Let me go talk to them.” Furia said.“Father.” Elyan said. “May I use your study?”He nodded. >“Let go.” >Go to the study with her
