(Trying again, with better rules this time)A new world forms, as the first organisms emerge...The chaotic creation of this new world may bring some species to extinction, while others to prosper over their downfall. Will your species thrive the most?> Creating a speciesDraw your species in Paint (or whichever simple doodling program) and post it in your comment.Tell us something about the function of your species, and decide where it starts on the map.OP will then stat your species accordingly and give you a starting sheet.> ActionsEach turn you can do 1 of 2 actions> Expand your speciesRoll 1d3+1, the score is the maximum amount of tiles your species can expand to. Choose a tile with your species on the map and 3 adjacent tiles nearby. Your species will then expand from this tile to those adjacent tiles.> Evolve your speciesRoll 1d100Choose a species on a tile that you want to evolve, then choose 1 attribute to improve of the 6 base attribute: Environment, Size, Sensors, Camouflage, Digestion, Toxic.according to your fluff and score, your species will also receive a special evolution trait that will change their playstyle and help them. And That's about it. The winner is whoever has the most thriving species on the map when it gets filled by species.More nitty bitty rules are in the picture.
Wallnut species.Vegetal/animal Hybrid. Grow a big leaf for photosynthesis and using it as sail to move around. Body is inside a hard, buoyant wallnut. The wallnut can feed with organic scraps. Once it get enough energies, leaf break out of the shell, fly around, a new body will grow from it. Previous body will grow a new leaf from it's genetical material and other from spores of an other species member.Species got around 20 gender to ensure compatible reproduction between 2 strangers (like Schizophyllum commune)Start somewhere on ocean, with high luminosity so around equator i guess
>>4925228> "Photosynthesis" This species enjoys the benefits of a strong sun and a rich environment, where they are able to reproduce and thrive in multitudes.IG: These species gain a thriving bonus when it is in the equator rows (2 central map rows). Also, when expanding from an equator tile you can simply choose 3 adjacent tiles rather than roll for expansion.
>>4925190Hey it's Sprangulus guy here, mind if I take my first turn or are we still waiting on more players?
>>4925281would like to get 5-6 players first. 5 is a doable amount of players, 6 would be ideal. Though I don't really see a reason why not to queue your first expansion already if you wish c:
>>4925190The SkwiddAnimal. Skwidds live on the bottom of the more shallow parts of the ocean ( so ocean tiles but close to shallows). Ambush predators, they hide their entire body in the side, leaving only their exposed, and can lay in wait of prey for hours.
>>4925286> Trait: "Camouflaged Attack"This species use their camouflage and patience in order to catch prey by simply hiding and waiting for them to come by. IG: Species that have less sensors than this species camouflage may be subject to prey.

>>4925720hmmm not sure i got the bottom left and right part, there is no ocean to the bottom left and right. Is pic related what you meant?
>>4925735I mean, the bottom left and right of the Volcanic Tile, not my original ocean tile, though I guess we can leave it as is and say that some of them went into arctic waters?Next turn'll definitely have to focus on a thick skin mutation to make sure they don't freeze or burn to death
>>4925742When you overgrow your environment you may land on weird spots. Think skin sounds like a neat evolution, can't wait.
>>4925286Nice to see you again! Dropping my submission!>>4925538Twiskies are ocean-dwelling organisms. >>4926526Hell yeah. I'd like to expand to the land and two surrounding ocean tiles, please.
>>4925386Strong winds sweep the oceans, the wallnuts raise their leaf like a sail and glide on the waves towards new unfamiliar lands.>>4925372The Geeto spread across the shallows searching for new prey to catch. Funny enough, the wallnut species could be a nutrients for the Cambria if they could only find them often enough for sustenance. >>4925410The Skwidd begins inhabiting its surrounding environment in multitudes. Some even begin to make way towards the shallower waters, in hope to find better prey there.>>4925720The Strong branches of the Sprangulus spread east and west to the warm waters around the volcano, while the weaker are pushed to barely sustain on small volcanic pools and freezing waters.>>4926528The Twiskies begin coloring the waves with their white shells as they ride them to their next habitats, devouring anything in their path.--Game is officially afoot! >>4926547> "Surfacing" - These cephalopod species have spent a long time in fresh shallow waters to the point they became used to the environment, they emerge surfacing from time to time to extend their reach into their surrounding environmentIG: These species can "Thrive" in shallows, but at a major disadvantage. They can only expand 1d3 from shallows rather than 1d3+1.>>4926551its ok you did everything right. The number is for how successful and powerful your evolution is, will affect how good of a trait you'll get
>>4926551> "Fat reserves" - These species hoard their nutrient in fat sacks that keep them both warm and sustained while they swim under the extreme freezing environment surrounding them.IG: These species gain a thriving advantage on arctic tiles.
>>4926541Origin tile of wallnutsEvolveGold is assimilated by the wallnut, increasing shell hardness and forming little spikes. This allows it to get transported by digestive systems not strong enough to break them and raise their overall toxicity
>>4926575cool adaptations but why would anything want to eat it?
>>4926579Guys on the same tile just try to eat. they shat the little fucker out whole, like corn. Rolled 67 (1d100)>>4926541Oh god. I made a big mistake in just upscaling the image. Now it's too blocky for the brush size. The Twiskies on the one land tile begin to evolve. >>4926575> "Gold shell" - Gold is assimilated by these species and used to cover their exterior shells, increasing shell hardness and forming little spikes. This allows it to get transported by digestive systems not strong enough to break them and raise their overall toxicityIG: Creatures need an additional Digestions point to eat this species, or have a trait that allows them to overcome hard shells.
>>4926599"Slow Metabolism" - In order to digest more toxic and stiff materials, these species developed slow and energy consuming metabolism.IG: These species are able to eat other species that are 1 toxicity above what they normally would be able to digest. However, this trait also means that whenever this species are eating other species then it is also taking a disadvantage, and can only expand from such tile by rolling 1d3 rather than 1d3+1.

>>4926629What happens if you propagate on the same tiles as previous species? Do you replace/get a kind of bonus?

>>4927136choose a start to start with, note the land on the left is relatively free since the red species is out of the game. once you do ill post the next update
Well, here’s my dude! The ObupobA relatively large-sized creature that feeds mostly on vegetables by picking at it with its tentacles, putting the food in a hole at their center of its “head” that acts as mouth, but can also eat small pieces of meat.Their base is a whole bunch of tiny feet, allowing them to move with a moderate speed.Their main strength is their toughness, size and ability to regrow lost tendrils off given time.Hoping this is alright!

>>4927985What do you mean? You can evolve since you have three in total. That rule was probably to prevent people spamming evos on the base tile, and then expanding outwards with species that could eat all in their path. Which was a fun strat that we did last thread. And the default expand roll always guarantees you can evolve after, because it’s 1d3+1, and you’ll always have 3 total on the map after it.
>>4927997I speak about the OG Beakworm which is sadly has disadvantages agiinst the Geeto G2 namely the "Hunting Tentacles" Trait. The OG has advanteges only against the OG Geeto because that one relies on camouflage that the OG beakworm thanks to its "keratin beak" trait Ignores.

>>4928014you can't chain expansions without a trait. You can only expand to adjacent tiles, so expanding to the 2nd shallows tile with the 2nd gen is impossible

Also anyone up for teaming up against the 100 crab that does not need to eat?
>>4929067I'll try to expand toward them, on equator tiles I should have advantage
>>4929067So long as they don't try to get on my ice then I will be fine, I need that space to evolve to land after all.Though, if they threaten our mutual Ocean area I would be open to migrating a few more Tropically minded Sprungulus into assisting you, sound fair?
>>4929072Fair as it getsTruce between sprangulus and Wallnuts it seems
>>4929072dont care for the ice but i do want to genocide too balance out the world against those thriving herds i think the worms are handling the disembodied heads nicely and the tree, squid and fish are containing the crabs nicely who would else spread like a plague and i am saving the arctic for you fish if you can cross i am thinking of making space if i can migrate the sword into the shallows and the jaws into the other shallows with the nuts wonder if that would be allowed like how you can expand evolved species with one if they are thriving
>>4929075I accept this bargain, let we three form the mighty Triumvirate of... What the fuck is our planet called again?Either way, I'm claiming those Tundras and Frozen wastelands

>>4929081or wait would it be evolved from the fin due to only having 2 of the standard?
Just woke up, will do my morning rituals and update soon
My war map. I’ll be having the newly evolved Hulks land-striding into new lands. And along with them come the smaller cousins…Who will promptly be cannibalized. And the crowding caused by 4 species on that tile would render the Obus extinct due to being the least-thriving.
>>4929081And utilising our apparent enemy's map>>4929087I will begin taking the East, I'll capture the south and begin closing them in after developing Land-survival abilities
>>4929087Let's see who thrive with photosynthesis power!
>>4929089That would be MY CHILDREN, as eating the Obus on those tiles immediately place them at top thriving priority. Shame about the G2s, but oh well.
>>4929087Going to leave the sea patch open for the obus for now and not instantly genocide them
>>4929087Ah right. To clarify, this is my queued move for next turn. I mistakenly thought we already were on the next turn. Current turn, my move was just to evolve the Hulks in the first place.
Hmmm if sword evolved from finned i could launch a blitzkreig upon the other continents narrow shallows
>>4929093Actually, we might just be on the new turn, as we just have to wait for "God Bidderlyn" to complete Cambria's new trait, as seen >>4928967 here
>>4928967Gratz on the kittens! What evo did you give them?also you can't evolve in the shallows :C you only have 2 species on the map of the 1st evolution! You need 3 to evolve. Should I do the evolution on the finned cambria up north? You can edit pic to add some fins if you like
>>4929097Surre will do
>>4929113could i cheese this and reroll again

And speaking of Wielding… Oubbro, would you be alright with me incorporating the slain tile of purples into a future evo for my dudes?
>>4929121Remember that horror manga about a parasite that became legs for sea life? Could craft golden biotech legs for another creature to be used as a weapon
Rolled 5, 7 = 12 (2d14)>>4929121You can do 1 evo per turn. You can get creative and think of something that will allow you to hadnle both like attaching to the back of larger creatures or spreading your seed after you are eaten --also rolling for the ice age
>>4929126Was actually joking, already drawn next evolution, was thinking of something else
>>4929127Aww could have become mech crafter and used random creatures forcibly migrated to be used as a weapon
>>4929120> "Sword Snout" - Hardened and finessed chitin sword grows from these species forehead extending its length. >>4929163Guess I'm gonna work on at least one extreme omnivore line from now on
>>4929164> "Slippery Scales" - These species has developed slippery scales. >>4929212I used the 19 rolled rather than the 80. Since the 80 was invalid. replied to the comment with the 80 since thats where the evo is described
Waiting on obuvip dude right now, will post next ud once he comments / in couple hours
>>4929161this is invalid as your ability clearly states you can only chain expansion over ocean tiles, so you can't skip through the shallows. you have to cross through your G2
>>4929241then i will cross
>>4929142Thats not how expansion works c:You expand 1d3+1 (4 in your case) from a singular tile of your choice.and THEN you get also to expand 1 tile with each of the other evolutions who did not expand.
>>4929144Just an example for a turn you could do (not necessarily what you should be doing):Expand with the Rex to the 3 arctic tiles and the ocean to the left. Then expand 1 tile with the OG sprangulus on the right to the north east. Expand with the G2 on east ocean to the north east . And expand with G3 at the most eastern arctic tile to the arctic further east.

>>4929645Skwidd on arctic tile cant expand because it is not thriving. Pnly thriving species can expand. You cab tell it is thriving if they appear big and at top of their tile
>>4929245Sorry about the wait, and sorry about not being clear, the X's in >>4929144 were to be where the Sprangulus Rex was gonna move too, since it still has the Ocean Environmental advantage and because of the Truce I wanted to move it into position to defend against the Crabs.I will be moving the Sprangulus G2 onto the Antarctic tile to it's right that holds the Sprangulus G1 thoughThe furthest East Sprangulus G3 will also take the Unclaimed ocean tile to the North-East of itAnd the Sprangulus G1 that is sharing a tile with a Wallnut G1 will move to the Lower West Ocean TileThat all make sense?
>>4929664Yep I got that about the Rex but it can't move like that. It can only move to Adjacent tiles! to the tile it is at. It can't chain an expansion. In adjacent tiles I mean only tiles next to his current location, not tiles adjacent to each otherand the G1,G2,G3 expansions make sense!
>>4929675Oh, okay, if that's the caseSprangulus Rex will move to:-Antarctic tile top-Antarctic Tile Bottom West-Ocean Tile top West-Arctic Tile Bottom EastThat work?

We're learnin. rules are worded better in the images, i just give a quick refresh here in writing--> ### New turn!> Global Crysis events! From now on, I will roll 1d6+X at the end of every turn. If the score would be 6 or above a crysis would happen (Meteor strike, tsunami, etc). X grows by +1 each turn until a crysis happens, then it resets to 1. the game will end at the end of the turn where the 3rd crysis happens, rather than by turn 12 ( I feel its more thematic this way).

>>4929549> "Vegetable Overlord" - Residing and nesting amongst corpses and remains of other species for nourishment, these species creates life where only death used to rule.IG: Advantage on land tiles with other species if no one can eat this species.
Rolled 63 (1d100)>>4929719The Sprangulus Rex on The Bottom Antarctic tile will evolve to the SPrangulus Rex G2The Sprangulus Rex eventually figured out that it's larger kin were able to avoid the issue of the overgrowth of their horn via two methods, the first being it's habit to get into more situations where the horn had to be used, either through combat or just as a digging tool, the second being it's larger shape meant that more of the necessary nutrients for growth were heading to the main body as opposed to said Horn. This lead to the birth of the Sprangulus Rex G2, the larger, more aggressive variant that has relegated most of it's nutrient feed to it's extremeties, turning their initial skin flaps into full on fins, elongating it's tail, and developing a stabilising horn that grows just under the Sprangulus Rex's initial horn, this Stabilising Horn acts as a counterbalance for the first, while unfortunately limiting the growth of both horns, it has lead to a more stable biology. With any luck Increase Size by 1, focus trait on the secondary "Stabilising Horn" please
>>4929771> "Stabilized body"After growing aggressive and extreme, these species evolved to mitigate their faults by new habits, growing a larger body and a secondary horn to offset their balance back to normal. IG: Penalties and disadvantages from the "Horned" trait no longer apply. Only the advantages remain
>>4929797Thank you God Bidderlyn
Rolled 6 (1d100)>>4929719Here we go. Hopefully I can roll high enough. The Hulkskies on that one particular tile have been through a Great War. Two legions of their brethren marched in, and only one survived, yet they wiped out an entire species in the process. The survivors of this tile grow and adapt to take down the hefty nuts.+ Digestion, aiming to crack the hard shell with their powerful claws. And as a cosmetic thing, the Daimyo Hulkskies wear the corpses of the creatures they’ve rendered extinct, utilizing their bodies one final time. Come on dice gods, don’t fail me… And at least don’t embarrass me.
>>4929862NEVER HOPE FOR A GOOD DICE
>>4929862Their powerful claws are so strong that if they get snapped together they can shatter themselves!Oh My GOD!
>>4929862I love it. This deserves a roll over 90. Why do the gods never listen.> "Rabid" - These species have SEEN things. Seen war, death, destruction... It is in their DNA to kill and never stop killing. They gear towards war, wearing the homes of their enemies as shells, and growing their claws as massive weapons...IG: Major disadvantage when you are not eating another species. Can ignore one trait that increases the target species defense by hardness(if multiple exist, you ignore the least useful one to you).
>>4929886The Chadskies need to learn Conservation or they will literally fucking die.Anon, do what I did, get a stabilising trait on your next turn, I don't want you to die before our species get to clash.
>>4929895I think I’m good on that front. All I have to do is kill, and never stop killing, and I’ll be all good. This alliance can’t last. Already, the nuts are falling, and will soon be knocked out of their thriving tiles. I offer you peace, Sprangulusbro. The left side of the map is completely free to you, if you abandon this war. But if you choose violence, I’ll have no choice but to expand towards you once the nuts are dealt with, in order to safeguard my tiles.
>>4929935>>4929895You have my word that I’ll leave you be. The entire left side can still net you a victory. But if you land on the red border, I’ll have to consider it an act of war.
This really isn’t my game is it?
>>4929976I’m sorry, Obubro… I need that land badly. Please, move up into the sea, I don’t want to completely eradicate a species.
>>4929976:CYou've joined too late, and into the middle of a great war. >>4929978You tell him you are sorry while you are wearing his skin as a trophy cape. Just saying.
>>4929959>>4929935The Sprangulus swore an oath on Kumaneh Mountain The Volcano tile in the centre that all three species of the triumvirate encircle , We remember this oath, and know that it cannot be broken.Besides, you are not the only species that shares a hunger for bloodshed, I wish to see what remains when our species meet;My LanceOr your Hammer
>>4929985Kek, not sorry enough to not wear it, I guess>>4930002Then war it is. The only one to reap the spoils will be the whales, your ‘allies’ who have contributed nothing to this fight while leaving the wallnuts to be exterminated, and you to fight the southern front.

Rolled 2 + 1 (1d3 + 1)>>4929719Expand the wall Expand big mouth in a line again hugging the coast nothing will escape the continent
>>4930489Also sword again expand by a tile and same with finned
>>4930489>>4930491And that puts your ally at 16 thriving tiles. Open your eyes sheeple! Your ally has betrayed you. He's making use of you. Every turn he can take 4 ocean tiles with no interference. He'll be taking the north next. It's too late for the nuts, but Sprangulus, I'm still open to negotiations in light of the double-crossing by the Cambrian menace. Now war over territory becomes an inevitability.>>4929729The Geetwins jump heads on into the ocean. However in those depth they find monsters even larger and more powerful than themselves... At the same time, their former evolutions vacuate the worm infested island by migrating into deep water, where they are yet to adjust.> ### New turn!Remember your actions are:> Expand / MigrateRoll 1d3+1 and expand to that amount of tiles from a chosen tile.OR move any tile with a species 2 tiles away in any direction. After migrating/expanding you can then also expand 1 tile with each of your previous generations anywhere on the map.> EvolveIf you have 3 of the same species on the map, you can evolve that spceies!-->Game endsThe game will end a turn after the map is filled by species, or when 3 crisis are rolled! Before the start of every new turn i'll be rolling 1d6+X, where X grows by +1 each turn until a crisis happens. If I score 6 or above, a crisis will happen that turn and X will reset back to 1.
Rolled 1 + 1 (1d3 + 1)>>4930588Alright, gonna Expand the Sprangulus Rex G2
>>4930590They are not thriving within their tile so you cant expand with them. the normal non-rex G2 are thriving there. The reason being you Rex G2's are size 3, and they can't eat the other sprangulus since they are only size 1 which gives them another camouflage point against the Rexes. To Thrive with the G2 Rexes you'll have to migrate it into a tile with a size 2 species they can eat, or expand with a size G2 species into their tile (for example with the G1 Rex)
>>4930590>>4930592Okay, this is gonna be annoying, but okayMovements are as follows>Sprangulus Rex G2 -They'll migrate 2 tiles upward, using their thriving Ocean advantage to supplant the Sprangulus G1 species and share the tile with Bigmouth Cambria and Geetwins>Sprangulus Rex-The Sprangulus Rex on the Bottom East Antarctic Tile will spread to the Eastern Antarctic Tile where only a Sprangulus G3 is>Sprangulus G3-The Sprangulus G3 on the eastern-most ocean tile will expand to the ocean tile to the upper east of it, now sharing the tile with the Twiskies G2 and Wallnut G1>Sprangulus G2-The furthest west Sprangulus G2 that shares an ocean tile will expand onto the Antarctic tile to the Bottom West of it>Sprangulus G1-The Sprangulus G1 on the far east Ocean tile will expand to the Ocean tile currently inhabited by the Wallnut G1Also, does being an Omnivorous species mitigate the issues of size or is diet just a non-factor?
>>4930592I made it sound overcomplicatedYour sensors level is 1The camouflage level of the species on their tile is 2 (1 from trait 1 from being 2 sizes smaller)With sensors 1 you can't eat camouflage 2 therefor Rexes G2 aren't thrivingBasically the only way for G2 Rexes to thrive at the moment is to eat a G1 Rex.>>4930478Like that? (looks at pic related)If you meant for the bloomnut to expand, it can't expand. It is not thriving and the thriving species is not of your evolutional branch so the trait doesn't work.>>4930601Diet will affect your traits. If you put emphasis on the way your species eat I might implement the effect via traits. Also note that migrating to the geetwins will get them extinct by being eaten by 2 different predators, which might be not what you wanted since they are also your only food source with the G2 Rexes. Thats it for the hints by me tho ;^)
>>4930478Also you can still expand 1 tile with each of your other evolutions, so you got that part of the action still undone
Rolled 28 (1d100)>>4930588The Mouthed Skwidd in the water tile develops extra pupils allowing it to look in multiple directions at once. +1 sensors
>>4930472>>4930608I think he meant land tiles using the Bloomnuts, since he said the expansion for it. And the Flowernut ocean comment came after.Ah and also, small mistake with the Chadskies. >>4929886 They aren't adapted from a line that can live in Volcanoes.
>>4930612true, don't know how that volcano sneaked in there. Probably used the hairy template by mistake
>>4930608I can only move two tiles though , and I don't have enough of the Rex G2 to push with an evo, fuck.I'll just have to take my chances and hope that the Big Mouths and my species will reach equilibrium so I can expand from there. That or push for a Rex Evolution that balances out the Horn's negatives while utilising the newly updated Horn as a sensor...Fuck, this is a pickle it is, I don't wanna have to go back to Sprangulus G3, it's too far back to be of any use during the war outside of fattening it up to act as a launchpad against the Twisky's.
>>4930614Tbf if you go to war with the G3 you will be fightnig G1's of the crabs. Its all relative, and you have 2 gens of advantage in that case until reinforcements arrive - if they ever arrive.
>>4930615Hulkskies is already on the move, my only saving grace is the fact that I have Ice-tile advantage, and even then, all they need to do is move down into a couple of Ocean tiles then make an evo with Ice profficiency, then I'll be fighting a losing battle unless I hold back the Rex G2 and start building a Toxic or Sensor type out of the Sprangulus G3 to act as a suicide bomber team.
>>4930617Consider the fact that at the same time the nuts will be also evolving against the crabs, and it can't effectively fight two fronts. Not to mention skwidd start getting in the picture...Either way its gonna be very interesting very soon.
>>4930617Which is why I offer you a truce. You have enough to worry about, without me marching into the waters next turn and eating your dudes. All you have to do is end this ill-advised war with your treacherous ally, start expanding left, and not invade the border I marked out.
>>4930601>>Sprangulus G2>-The furthest west Sprangulus G2 that shares an ocean tile will expand onto the Antarctic tile to the Bottom West of itThat action is invalid just noticed, the G2's on the shared ocean aren't thriving (if they are not big and on top of the tile it means its not thriving and cant expand).
Rolled 3 (1d3)>>4930588clawwurms migrate westward one tile where the geetos live.AQ.3s migrate one tile to the western SHALLOWS
>>4930622Okay, after a little think I have these amendments to the Expansion/Migration turn>Sprangulus Rex-The Bottom East Antarctic tile that holds the Rex will expand to the East (Left) Antarctic tile with the Sprangulus G3.>Sprangulus G2-The Sprangulus G2 will expand to the Upper East Ocean Tile that has the Sprangulus G1 on it.>Sprangulus Rex G2-The Sprangulus Rex G2 will Migrate two tiles to the East, now resting on the same tile as the Rex and G3 as mentioned in the Rex's move. The Sprangulus will then be the Dominant species on said tile as it will be one size greater then the Rex.From there, my next turn will be expansion, granted I'm not screwing anything up.
I've been scrolling up and down through this Thread the whole time to read traits. I figured I might as well compile them all, so we can all look at each others' fairly. Also you get another 1 tile expansion with the G2>>4930629this is useful, thanks
>>4930628and the OG sprangulus into the wallnut ocean tile right? --Also, east means right. but i get what you mean, you wanted to expand left with the G1 Rex c: Looks valid! Will take that. Smart move btw.

>>4930648Oh, sick. Was it intentional that my size went down?
>>4930649Nope i made a mistake, redoing that post!
>>4930630i am directly not using it i needed to move them one tileand if i can move with the G2 well lets expand one tile down with the most southern population of them
>>4930650i'll repost again, think the enlarging size should take effect too. need to think of something more fitting for an 80+ roll, I feel like the bonus is rather a 60~ish. will boost it abit further.
>>4930653Fine by me
>>4930633Thanks, and, yeah, sorry, I get confused easily
>>4930640taking this roll for the evo. its not that im nice, would take it even if it was the lower one, because its the first to be rolled.>>4930654now i think its a more fitting trait to your comment:> "Grave bandit"These species utilize corpses as both augmentation for their bodies. They use the bloated bodies to float around the oceans and feed on the mold that eats into the corpse as a nutrient. and as nutrients. IG: Can thrive on ocean tiles, yet only expand 1d2 from oceans. Thriving advantage when species of your branch are being eaten at the same tile.
>>4930658Oh wow. You can actually fight and kill the whales with one more camo.
>>4930658Thanks :)>>4930660No one will be safe.
>>4930588But Muh ocean expansion?
>>4930674Was an invalid action :CYou couldn't expand. You can only expand when you are thriving. You could have migrated your species whcih i advised you to, but you weren't here to comment.Right now its game over for the Obucip, they are on the definitive road to extinction. You can keep hopping and migrating to places in hopes to find a new home to thrive, but at this point you have no way to win. You can keep playing for the laughs tho.
>>4930674Hey Obucip player, have you ever heard of "Symbiosis?"
>>4930677Why yes he has, and I’m in the perfect spot to provide. >>4930674I don’t want to wipe you off the map or anything, because even if you’re in a really bad spot, that’s a huge dick move. If you want to evolve your dudes any further, and piggyback your Trait off the fact that my guys are wearing your species on their backs like anemone-crabs, feel free to do it. Maybe it might help you expand further or something.
>>4930681>>4930677and if you expand to the ocean my back is open and much bigger
So why isn't bloom nut thriving on its tile? I've got both photosynthesis and Plant Overlord traits?
>>4930608I tried to evolve especially so it could thrive while still eating no one, as I'm trying to do since the beginning
>>4930689I'm eating the Obus, which puts me at the top of the thriving bracket. It's:1. Eating2. NOT being eaten3. Advantage/disadvantage4. Smaller5. Was there first. So the eating takes precedent over the thriving traits.
>>4930691Indeed, but i'm trying to evolve enouh traits so I can thrive among people eating each other.Turns out the game was rigged from the start
>>4930698Well there are certain rules which were always transparent to the players. Eating other species > Anything else. Wouldn't say its rigged ,if not for the Obu you would win this war, but thats part of what makes that interesting. You can still migrate the bloomnuts or even just cause the Obu in your tile to go extinct, that will make you instantly thrive again.
>>4930698That's a possible build, but hard to pull off at this point. It'll work if you kill all my food sources by overcrowding them, to stop me from thriving. But it'll require you to genocide your own species constantly.
>>4930698 most of your traits are for expansion and self survival, not about living with predators.evolving traits to thrive amongst people eating each other is good way, but you only got 1 of those traits at the moment. This is not enough to overhaul the rules of the game to your advantage. if you started earlier or even expand on that evo now, you'd be able to do it even better. Anyway, if you feel the game is rigged im sorry. In my eyes Its not and everything was detailed in the rules, but I can't control how you feel.If you still feel like playing then we are just waiting on you and cambria to update c:

>>4930727Like can only thrive on a saturated tile?
>>4930681Oh i love this idea. Have you heard of the boxer crab by the way?
>>4930754Absolutely. They're wonderful little creatures. I'm a sucker for animals that fucking equip items or turn into weapons. >>4930769Don't forget Obu!

>>4930773Aye aye sir! Evolving time, sorry it’s taking a while to draw
Rolled 68 (1d100)> evolve: the Travelling ObuThe traveling Obu are a new evolutionary step of the Obu line that adapted to the overwhelming number of nut-like beings in the regions they dwelled in.The Obu began to notice the weird flowers growing on the back of the Bloomnuts, but found it wasn’t to their liking. On the contrary, the flower found the basically toxine-free Obus to be fertile ground for colonization. And so it is that the purple beings were stuck- adaptation kicked in, of course, but in an unexpected way- the tendrils grew longer, to allow the nut to move around, while their bodies connected effectively making them one through symbiosis, allowing the two species to share the under water respiratory gland of the Obus- although with a reduced efficiency due to the greater amount of air consumed- while the two shared nutrients.
I apologize for the horrid drawing. I tried but it’s the best I could do and I suck at making leaves
>>4930859Wow, that's interesting. And unexpected. Which trait did they upgrade?
>>4930703It was mostly a joke and reading the rules by the rules I could have get every body have to become an apex predator.I evolved the last one exactly to be able to override the rule when I am not eaten on a tile and still manage to "win" the confrontation while not hunting, totally get and understand I didn't rolled enough for that
>>4930608Thriving time for Blue flowers using my roll the way it's drawn. Walknut go up toward skidds.Other can't really move around
>>4930869Yeah you might have been able to if you got a unique enough trait. Though, I think I've wiped out a LOT of your blue flowers. Yay, we got everyone's replies this turn.
just started hosting a friends visit so i'll be back in a few hours
>>4930868Oh right forgot about that. Is 3 size the max?
Rolled 96 (1d100)>>4930872Alright. So now that this turn is done, I'll queue my action before going to bed. Come on dice gods, be good to me this time... The Chadskies that have moved onto the upper right land tile, with the volcano to its right and ocean above, have gone through slews of enemies. They've fought countless foes in their march across the continent, killing Opus, Wallnuts, and even their own brethren at one point. Anything for victory. The breed that makes it onto that tile are the SHOGUN CHADSKY, veterans who are currently responsible for the most extinctions worldwide. Their eyes have developed further during this to grant them better sensing capabilities. One might say they're shining from the horrors of war.+SensorsAs their attempted trait, however, the Shogun Chadskies have great experience fighting and rendering their foes extinct. They've become powerful combatants, making it difficult to prey on them or defeat them in face-to-face fights. One might have trouble without camouflage, to take them by surprise.(Basically trying to make it so that camo beating their sensors is needed to hunt them)
>>4930859Just to make it clear, this isn't some declaration of war to either the obu or wallnuts but I have plans of adding plants to the the skwidds' diet
>>4930890Is that not the same due to how crowded that continent is due to the war
>>4930890It's fine I'm dead meat anyway
>>4930868Hey, you suggested symbiosis so I took it.If you’re against it I can think of something else
>>4931008Just suprised at your choice
>>4930859> "Symbiotic Centaur" - These species began developing symbiotic relations with other species on its region. Attaching itself onto their back to be carried across their lands for expansion, collecting food for both themselves and their host as they do so. Making the deal beneficial for both...IG: You can expand from land tiles even if you are not thriving in them, as long as the tile you are at and the land tile you are expanding towards contain the same foreign species branch and both are larger and can't eat you. In return, species you can "ride" on gain a thriving advantage.
>>4931108Wait can I put my evolution point into toxic? Also I’d like to know if 3 size is the max
>>4931113sure i'll change that to toxic. Also i wrote "larger than" but i meant" larger or equal" in order to ride them.
>>4931115Thank you, sorry for the trouble
Rolled 1 + 2 (1d6 + 2)ok done with the friends visit, gonna update now.Rolling for crisis

As they do, they acquire a new taste for the blood of the skwidd, a taste they must satisfy.>>4930870The Flowernut grow and color the horizon with their beauty. Yet beneath all that beauty, there is a hidden struggle for survival. Unlike the walknuts who go udner the crab's radar, the flowernut are too large and colorful to not be noticed, and become easy pickings for the crabs. Only the smaller more primitive evolutions manage to keep thriving,.>>4930651The worms create swarms of tunnels under the western continent, almost causing it to be hollowed by their underground caves and traps. >>4930887> "Battle born" -These species demand blood, demand war! But above all -They demand a worthy opponent. Fighting glorious battles is in their blood, and their life is a never ending quest to find such a battle...IG: Gain a major advantage when fighting another species who can both eat and be eaten by this species. In addition, you can choose to "Attack" new tiles you expand into with these species, causing all of the creatures that can be eaten by you in that tile to go extinct immediately. >>4931250Map is really helpful, thanks! Looks good! c:
>>4931263Hey, does toxic or camouflage actually do anything cause I thought the Bloomnut would at least be able to slow them down?
>>4931290yeah they do. Your species cant be eaten if it has more toxicity than the predator digestion, or more camouflage than the predator's sensors
>>4931296Then how are the Hulksies the Dominant Species on the Travelling Obu and Bloomnut tile? Both of them have Toxic 2 and 3 respectively while the Hulksie only has Size 3 and Digestion 1.Or does size determine the Thriving species, not anything else?
>>4931304You are right, I thought the hulkskies had digestion 2. I was probably looking at the Chadskies at the same time and got confused by it.I make mistakes c: Will update map again
>>4931305It's okay, I'm was just confused is allI mean, why have a trait when it doesn't do anything am I right?
>>4931304They were the dominant ones earlier from eating the Obus. However, the Obus evolved to become inedible to them late last turn, so that part was probably missed. >>4931263Hell yeah murder time.
>>4931201Fixed map for this turn
>>4931322just ignore the tile with the Shogun chadskies on the fixed map, was putting it there as a reminder for myself (it would also be thriving)

Rolled 2 + 1 (1d3 + 1)>>4931322> expand the traveling Obu

Updated map while waiting for the other turns.
Rolled 3 + 1 (1d3 + 1)>>4931322
>>4931322You made another mistake on the map I think. On one tile the Skwidd gen 4 is thriving despite being in the same tile as a goldnut and a chadkie but on the tile next to it it isn't despite the hulskie being weaker than the chadskie.Since I was planning to expand the g4 so \i can evolve it I'd like to know which tile is right
>>4931675>>4931326It was addressed and fixed here. I saw the same issue earlier, yeah. But the status of everyone is counted at the start of the turn (>>4931322), and I only evolved my guys this turn. So for now your dudes are still thriving and thus can expand from there. At least, that's if I've interpreted Qm's words right.
>>4931680>>4931326 Whoops missed that somehow. anyway since g4 can't expand or evolve here is my move this turn. Eyeskwidd claims four new tiles, g1 Skidd claims one of the hairy twiskies' wastelandtiles, g3 goes after more land and ringed goes back to the shallows
Rolled 82 (1d100)>>4931201beakmanderone of the Claw/crawlwurm populations evolvedtheir flappers have evolved into proper legs (only the first two has claws) they become structuraly more adapted to land life. theese hexapodal predators became larger than their predeccessor and more stable.
>>4931680Yes thats how it works. Everything is resolved "at the same time" at the end of the turn. If i were to resolve by order of action/comments the game would become unplayable due to endless chain reactions after each comment(casically each comment would be like a turn) imagine someone commented just before you and caused you species to not thrive just by the merit of commenting first, wouldnt be fun
>>4931742Oh well, I messed up but I'm sticking with my choice
>>4931747you still get to expand 1 tile with the g4 if you like, they are currently thriving
>>4931759I'll take it
>>4931562Wait but I’m buffing you aren’t i?
>>4931800You literally gave him the continent, he owes you everything c:Without eating you wallnuts would completely annihilate his species. But now you are developing to the point where he can't eat you (added toxicity)
>>4931800Nope, you evolved and kicked me off my tile, and the nuts are now thriving. I got sent to extinction by an expansion after that. But yeah, I claimed most of this land by eating you, so it'd still be poor form to eat too many and kill your lads. May have no choice depending on expansion.
>>4931803Head south then, meet me in the Antarctic ocean. We'll feed on each other in an endless Ouroboros that we call the Food-chain.Besides, I wanted to test out my fighting prowess on you, I doubt you'd feel so different.
>>4931717on which tile is that happening ?
>>4931823Is there no way I can convince you to turn on your ally, after all this time? I've done the math and looked ahead. For you to defeat me in the bottom, you need either two turns of migrations, or four of expansions to even get your G3 Rexes to me. And that won't even guarantee a victory, it'll mean you're on even ground with my critters. Not to mention my ability to instantly kill your dudes to make a food chain of myself. A mere G2 of mine is completely blocking your guys from expanding into my flock. The left side of the arctic is completely unclaimed. You'll have better luck preying on the megamouths with further G2 Rex evos, than trying to throw your weakest links into my strongest. Or even taking those FREE, precious white tiles. Even now, the Cambria have no competition and are in 2nd place behind me, without fighting any battles. You can even see it on the Shogun sprites. Obu, Twisky, and Walnut blood has been shed in this war, but not a single drop from the Cambrias. To end this semi-cringey rant, I'm having a lot of fun roleplaying as Genghis Khan. And that means if you truly cannot become my ally, I'll have to wipe you off the map.
>>4931840A foodchain of yourself, did you forget your Chadskies trait? If they aren't eating then they'll die, even if you render a species extinct on a tile then all you'll be doing is resigning the Chadskies you moved their to extinction too.Don't you see, our Ouroboros only exists while there are two snakes, a solo act would simply kill itself!
>>4931858>If they aren't eating then they'll dieYou misunderstood it. They get major disadvantage when not eating. However, major disadvantage and thriving are two separate mechanics. As long as I'm alone on a tile, my Hulk trait activates. I win a tile by either feasting, or killing everything else on it. The Sprangulus are nothing but food for my G2s, which feed the G3s. And anything that you can use to compete with my G2s can only be eaten by the Chads.
>>4931803I can evolve to help you maybe? Like, evolve to spread the flower to you
>>4931717> "Land hopper" -These species have forsaken their flappers for strong legs, which allow them to hop into new muddy lands.IG: You can expand to land tiles that are 2 tiles away from you as if they were adjacent. In addition, gain an advantage to thrive on land tiles, yet a disadvantage to thriving on water tiles.
could the only way to beat them to be to make something completely unedible that just clogs up the tiles so he cant set up a self contained ecosystem?
>>4931863I think the only way you could be of aid is by willingly feeding yourself to my Chadskies, since only they can eat your dudes. Otherwise, you could help by crowding out the black flowers at some point. I'm not super sure how you'd go about that, though. Evolving that toxicity stopped me from thriving, since I ran out of food and lost a prime tile.
>>4931863i wish you could latch onto me but apparently you cant as i auto eat you even if you are purple and look like a baby
>>4931874Which are you sorry? I can’t find which species you’ve made
>>4931912awesome moveYou also get to expand the other evos 1 tile c:
>>4931912Oh boy. Another one in the war. Come on man, rather than battle me, there’s a whole uncontested route to the north. You can eat whales to your heart’s content. May I implore you to consider moving two up instead, to the ocean where you’ll instantly be able to thrive? Up there, there’s no shallows to screw with your expansion.
>>4931562ehhh 5v1 i wouldn't say so. Tbf, sprangulus spread west mostly. Obu are not much of a factor, and whales are also spreading west. Most of this "alliance" is just talk. The only enemy you have is the nuts.
Rolled 1 + 1 (1d3 + 1)>>4931322okay megamouth expand north but also south depending on the roll

>>4931936Expanding down, left-down and right-down.Sorry for less activity, will be a busy week for me, will try to keep updating 2/3 times by day
>>4931939>>4931936dont toss away a good roll i know crab is fearing this as it would fuck them up completely
>>4931939you also get to expand with the walknut and the OG nut if you like, 1 tile each
>>4931938Well, you're the boss. Will keep that one so.
>>4931929Yeah sounds good. A partnership. My chadskies would feed on you, unfortunately. The ones you can ride on, however, is my Hulkskies. Feel free to latch on them and move about, I guess, as long as you don't move into any tiles with my Basic Twiskies. Might I suggest trying to migrate downwards? If you move into the sprangulus tiles, I'll be able to support you there. Nothing can eat you. If you migrate down two tiles next turn, I'll be able to move a gen 1 Twisky to feed you, allowing you to thrive and expand on the next turn. Expanding will unlock your evolutions again. You have very few legal moves now, so it's gonna be rough. We could try claiming the arctic for you?
>>4931942Being unable to eat you and sharing land debufs them just need to make sure you saturate the tile so he cant provide his own food
>>4931942>>4931945>>4931934Nah I'm not afraid, because:>Max points a species can have in an attribute equals to their size+1And you're already at 3 tox, 2 size.
>>4931934this is an illegal action since your toxicity is maxedplus once youve said this >>4931936 i dont think its fair that you get to callback.Since evo was invalid anyway, keep going with the expansion. Its not a bad strat too.Just remember you can also expand on 2 more tiles, once with walker one with OG nut
Rolled 2 (1d2)nvm >>4931934 move was actually valid, thought you are evolving the bloomnut. But i still dont think its fair you get to choose between the 2 rolls and take the better between the two. I will roll 1d2Therefor we go with random If I score 1 - You evolveIf i score 2 - you expand
>>4931953Alrightgoing with this >>4931939 you still get to expand 1 tile with walknut and OGnut if you like
>>4931867dont forget to evo it on a point near the edge so you can do it soon so you can cross over and fuck up the war
>>4931867i forgot to add where i evolvethe eastern clawwurm population
Right...Okay fellas. I know you guys have an alliance, and I've been scrounging about for allies a really long time. But there's one important thing I think we need to focus on. Nuts, Obus, Whales, Squids, and Sprangulus. it has come to my attention that a monster from another continent is moments away from landfall. If it wasn't for this ruling >>4931953 >>4931936 and Bloomnuts' move, the Geeto would be thriving right now, and we'd all already be fucked next turn. Thank you nut. Nut, the Geeto needs ONE more digestion and the trait to crack shells (Which will come with it and let it thrive regardless of downside), and it can kill every single thing on this continent. It can eat me to thrive, and by the time you're able to muster up enough turns to eliminate me as a food source, it will have evoed the ability to eat all your nuts. It can already sense them despite the camo from size difference.I propose a temporary truce. We're at the climax of the game anyway. Right now, Nut has managed to lock the Geeto threat in the shallows. I'm willing to completely stop any selfish expansion for the next turn and dedicate my turns to killing this thing. I'm the only one of us who can reliably chase this thing down as it tries to migrate to a point where it can thrive. If we don't stop it here, it takes over 29 tiles easily and wins the game. If we cannot contain it, our fighting is for nothing.
>>4931985okay everyone i agree with this its also a extinction threat to even me we must rally against this threat or literally everyone has NO CHANCE TO WIN OR EVEN SURVIVE.we must unite or there is no hope for this planet even now if we dont do something NOW we have NO CHANCE
>>4931992>>4931987>>4931985>>4931965>>4931948>>4931942>>4931730>>4931717>>4931800>>4931823>>4931858WE MUST UNITE i am backing up my hated enemy twisky or we have no chance to survive at all he has a plan
>>4931954I will let other nuts be as I can't see any advantageous position to move them.Sorry for fucking up this turn, will try to read stuff better next time. I can be back in around 4 hours
>>4931997its all good c:now just waitign for geeto to complete his 2ndry actions and expand 1 tile with the other evos >>4931912 wake up bud C:
Rolled 3 + 3 (1d6 + 3)Im rolling for crisis while we wait for geeto, wont tell you what the crisis is yet even if its a success.
>>4931996Yeah. I have a bit of a plan. It'll take all of us trying to render this single creature extinct. Right now, we're safe for 1 turn because of Nut. Next turn, the only valid move that that one apocalyptic Behelit can take is migrating. There's a two-tile containment perimeter around it, with danger tiles and safe tiles. We need to chase it down and render it extinct before it gets to a tile it can thrive on, and then propagates. Otherwise, we're all dead. We literally need everyone on this. Whales, I'm inviting you into the oceans beneath the continent. I was planning on easing it out from the Sprangulus, which I would have been able to do passively before, with no resistance. I'd like to take the risk and invite you down there, knowing full well that you could easily claim 6 of my tiles before I could even act against you.
>>4932003and i accept this with a promise of only expanding into a containment wall
the red are like literally like the thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meU2gAU7Xssor the blob
>>4931985What the fuck am I supposed to do? I’m a homeless tree scraping by. I literally don’t have shit
>>4931997WAIT! I don't mean to backseat, Nut, but you're our only hope. Literally. You have one position you can freely move the nuts in using your free move. Don't conclude your turn yet, I'm begging you.if you move down your Flownut, along with the bloomnut, which you've already done, you render the THING extinct. I'll post my working in the next post:
>>4932014This right here is the two-tile containment perimeter. Blue tiles are where the Alien Blob cannot immediately thrive. Red is where he instantly thrives if he migrates next turn. And the only action he can use to move the Red is to migrate. As you can see, there's an overwhelming amount of red tiles he can visit, which instantly causes him to thrive. And he can simply wait till we've all made our desperate moves, and then migrate to the single red danger tile. Which then lets him expand the very next turn, then evolve to a point where he can eat size 4 creatures as a size 4. We cannot contain him, and soon he'll take this continent. He can't eat you, but it'll be a repeat of the incident with me, you, and the Obus. Except now he's the apex. The only way to snuff him out is for you to use a completely free move to do it. Just one directly down with the blue flowers.
>>4932013All any of us can do is pray. I may have been fighting Nut, but now we're all at his mercy. He's the only one who can beat the strongest opponent we've faced.
i have some dangerous findings he could just move the gettwin into the shallows and on the next action expand enough so he is safe and can evolve again to regain strength for another strike and also expand his corpse boat to keep it safe while i try to contain it
>>4932022even if nut slays it the twins are going to have room to evolve in a safezone
>>4932015I'm gonna try to at least make it harder for them to reach the northern artic
still just waiting on geeto to complete his move
>>4932095And on nut’s Hail Mary, r-right? :(
>>4932102if he comes yeah.I'll have to leave the house for a few hours in an hour. so i'll update when i return.Hopefully both geeto and nutty will reply by then
>>4932014flowernut cant move down, it isnt thriving.hybrid propagation only works for the main expansion, notice how its worded.
>>4932149Well. Fuck. Guess next turn we'll have our work cut out for us. You guys with me this time, on banding together? We're literally dealing with some tyrranid blob here.
>>4932167I am with you hated enemy
>>4932167>>4932149Ok so basically I haven't fucked up yet? Got 5 minutes right now...
>>4932245Nope, no biggie. You did great, actually. Just that you had minimal moves left. Now we’re just waiting on geet. We’ll need your help next turn to trap him.
>>4932245Yes just expand 1 more tile with each previous gen please
>>4932258>>4932245Nvm i thought you are the geet player cus of id color
Do not update one second
>>4932295Its ok ill be home in 2 hrs only. Take your yine
Alright, so I was hoping you assholes didn't notice what I was up to. Twisky, you realized and called everyone together. Good thinking. What you didn't factor in was that now you're at the top of my list and I'm going to grind your entire pathetic species into dust. I'm not going to try and change my move (I was 50/50 between migrating to nut shallows or to geetwins) even though the questmaster might allow it, because I want to see how you all react when the world is doomed, and you couldn't do anything to stop it.Anyway, here's the list, descending order:1) Beakworm, Twiskies2) Cambria3) Spragulus4) Nut5) ObuSkwidd's, you might have noticed you're not on the list. You're the exception. I'm offering my hand to you. If you accept, I won't invade any tile you're thriving on, and expect you to do the same. I would settle for a diarchy with you. Hell, I would even accept merging into a single symbiotic species. Your pure spreading power and flexibility is impressive, and combined with my aggression and raw strength, we could rule the world. Consider it. I won't hold it against you if you decline, I'll act against you last. I won't make you act against your friends, as long as you also don't act against me. You could win as a neutral party with no blood on your hands if you wanted to.
>>4932333Hey should I feel insulted that I’m on the lowest of the list?
>>4932403I don't consider you much of a threat. Prove me wrong.
Rolled 4 (1d4)>>4932000Rolling for a crisis>1: Volcanic eruption1 random volcanic wasteland tile erupts, killing everything on it. Species on nearby tiles that are not in ocean, not adapted to volcanic environment and over size 1 will go extinct too.>2: Solar storm2 random tiles on the northmost and 2 tiles on the southmost rows will get Ionized by the solar storm, all none-thriving species on those tiles will die>3: Tsunami floods2 land tiles adjacent to oceans will become "Shallows", all species on adjacent ocean tiles will automatically migrate into the shallow tile.>4: Meteor strike3 random tiles will be hit by meteors, killing anything on those tiles. New "Crater" tile will be created as a new subtype biome of the tile it is on, craters can sustain life up to +1 size and allow 2 different species to thrive within. If meteor hits ocean nothing happens, if it hits shallows the species get eradicated but a "crater" wont be created.

>>4932471tiles hit are(4,6) (7,5) & (3,8)Will take effect at the end of the turn.--Now posting turn
>>4931695The skwidds continue to envelop the northern part of the continent. As they grow their borders, they clash with the whales of the west. While both critters are unable to fight directly, they fight to take the existing resources of the ocean, where the skwidd adapts better.>>4931250The sprangulus keep trampling over one another, burying their brethren int othe arctic ice.The new generation of rex feeds on the (also apparently i made a mistake and the R2 should have never thrived since they get the OG rex extinct when they eat them. fixed it for next turn, and you still get to keep the benefit of their former false expansions. Will try to be more focused on such details in the future )>>4931939They thought the flowers died, their vivid colors disappeared form the view under the shadow of the crab...However... The seeds were simply hidden underground. Now they grow, spreading strong across the land washing it with new colors stronger than ever before!>>4931912The Geeto move across lands, kill in their eyes. They reach shallow waters flowing against a strong continent raged by war - a new home, fitting. They begin eating the nuts drifting at the seas to gain strength, yet more plants, toxic and inedible replace them as time goes by... The geeto is yet again without food, and plants wont satisfy their taste for blood. It is time to migrate on again...>>49323332 of these expansions are illegal moves, you cant expand from tiles where you are not thriving(you can tell if you are thriving if the token is big and on the top of its tile).
>>4932500> ### NEW TURNyou know what to do ;^)
>>4932403Hey Obu wanna go full symbiosis lane with me?
Also wanted to say this:I know some of you might want to "hide" your actions so they wont be countered, and are therefor waiting. To not have an endless stalemate, you can instead DM me your action in secret via discord.https://discord.gg/5xrwNayV
>>4932514Yeah sure>>4932500Did my expansion only succeed once?
>>4932536The rest were eaten by other expansions made by stronger species
>>4932536Ok I'll think about a good trait to evolve.Maybe something allowing both of us to thrive on a tile? Or allowing to propagate you when I expand? Or even "fusing" our stats without raising size?
>>4932501It's really late here will update tommorrow.Might take a bit of time, around 14h from now
>>4932549now worries, good night.

>>4932500Yeah, nah, I can't win. Can't even really move forward.I'll be the first to take an L okay? You guys just play without us then.Fucking Rex's traitActually on that point, The REX'S TraitTo get that, I rolled a 9Which basically translated as:This Creature is a dead end, it can't be used as a food source, it fucking dies when not on an arctic tile.Jesus I should of just left the game when I rolled that.
