I don't think anybody has ever been entertained by an Iron Man match
>>147712Kenny and PAC says hi
>>147712iron man's dont work most of the time because people know ahead of time its going to be a fucking hour and the first 15 min or so is filler. Matches that just so happen to go an hour are a little easier because you're not constantly looking at the clock or waiting until the last 5 min for the finish. Look at how fondly people still talk about the hbk/cena match from raw
>>147712I like when Iron Man fought Thanos.
Manami and Inoue 60 minutes at a pace that blew me away but for the most part I like the 15-20 minute range for most matches I watch.
The Lesnar vs Angle Iron Man was fucking great

Billy Robinson and Antonio Inoki wrestled for an hour and it was based, so no time limit for me.

15 minutes for epic clashes.10 minutes for title matches and big time PPVs.5 or less for regular matches.Nobody watches wrestling for the matches and it’s time for WWE to realize this. I only watch for Bad Bunny and fall asleep during most of the show otherwise.
>>148760A lot of long matches are just padding. Wankfests of reversal/move spam, laying around on the mat, and overdramatic acting, etc. that I don't care for. It doesn't matter if it's WWE or other promotions, they do it in different ways. They're just Oscarbait equivalent. There's nothing wrong with sprints of 8-12 minutes, with a max of 20-25 for "epics". It just makes more sense in the context of wrestling as a combat sport. 25 is plenty of time to do that and tell a story.
>>148801based add depression anon
>>148892No ADD and no depression. I love WWE but the matches are a slog. I can’t sit for a 20 minute match. God bless you if you can, but you might want to get examined.
>>148971Based denial anon
>>147712I would gladly watch an Iron Man match if Shayna Baszler was in it. I could watch a 24 hour match with Shayna Baszler.
>>148971>loves WWE>no depression

>>147712>1 minute feeling out process exchanging collar and elbow>5 minutes targeting and working a limb>30 secs face in peril comeback>30 secs heel cutoff comeback>7 minutes sprint till the end Total time :14 minutes
>>147712WWE is weird for not having stated time limits for their matches when it's pretty standard for everyone else. it also gives you an extra booking option to end a match in a time limit draw rather than having a run-in or DQ to protect the wrestlers. that said, 15 minute time limit should be standard for TV but most matches should only last 5-7
5-7 min opener 7 - 12 min mid card / tag team 15 min championship bouts. No indy show should be more than 2 hours like a movie, and they shouldnt fucking start at 7pm if you're marketing it like a family show, expecting the kids will stay awake for pizza at 9-10pm.
>>147727i really loved the mundo-puma iron man from LU season 1, mostly because of mundo laying out puma with a piece of rebar early into the match and picking up a bunch of pinfalls in a row, and puma's increasing intensity as he fought the score back to even as the clock ticked down. a real nail-biter
>>149176lesbians don't actually exist, anon
none of you faggots watched AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels IronMan match
3 hours
>>149822yeah we aren't obese like you
>>147712a standard match should be no longer than 20 minutes, gimmick matches should vary based on the type of match. For example a ladder match should be in the 15-20 minute range. But a TLC match should be longer given you are probably gonna have multiple big spots with the tables, ladders and chair and want to space them out. Although a poor example of a TLC type match being longer was that Charles/Beko LMS match. They botched pretty much every big spot and it was just a plodding dragged out 30 minute mess. If that match was 5-7 minutes shorter it would have probably come off better.
>>147712How long does an actual fight last without rounds?Five to ten minutes maybe? When I was a workrate faggot back in the day, I loved long matches. Now I can't sit through them. Especially if the wrestlers involved are flippy midgets.
