What does /pw/ think of the Beyond The Mat documentary?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ryt6uc4Ojes
quit exposing the business!
that fat jew that was scamming mike modest died choking on a ham sandwich
>>1049286I don't think he could be Denzel, but he could be Denzel's friend.
it's really really good, probably the best wrestling documentary.
>>1049286>Terry Funk promises to retire>Shortly after this documentary, he moves to WCW already on it's last legs
>>1049316based new jack
>>1049286Pretty based. This and Wrestling in the Shadows were my first wrestle docs
I'm not booked terry!>jumps on trampoline with 2 pound weights
>>1049312>jew>ham sandwich Well he shouldn’t have disobeyed Yahweh
>>1049286That ending with the "I Quit" match. Holy shit.>"I WANT DADDY!"
It's great. Probably the GOAT wrestling documentary for capturing the weirdness and carnyness without having too much of an agenda. It's full of great moments.>Spike Dudley quoting Shakespeare while bleeding profusely>Koko B Ware with Frankie in his hotel room>Dennis Stamp>Denzel's Friend>Mick Foley being a great father and a terrible father>Paul Heyman's speech>Terry Funk being told he should already be crippled by knee damage>Every second of Jake Roberts
>>1049567I somehow forgot HE'S GONNA HE'S GONNA
Blaustein was very shrewd in the making of this. If Vince McMahon and Jake Roberts had any idea what the finished film was going to look like, they would never have taken part and the WWF would never have participated. He saw in advance that they would hate it, but its the best wrestling docu ever.
>>1049286Is there a link to a streaming site for this or nah
>>1049286Pretty amazing to have such an in depth look at wrestling behind the scenes when it was at it's absolute hottest. This and wrestling with shadows are my two favourite.
>>1049697There's a link in the OP post.
>>1049692If Jake hadn't seen himself laid out on screen like that, would he still be alive, putting kids over today?
This and Wrestling with Shadows are the two greatest wresting documentary ever made. Its too bad there wasnt more like these, not that the eras that followed it were all that noteworthy or impressive. So no big loss.
>>1049446>WAAAAAAAHH I’M A 50 YEAR OLD CAREER JOBBER WHY AM I NOT BOOKED WAAAHwhat was his fucking problem?
>>1049594HE'S GONNA PUKE!>Only produces a giant spit wadI wonder if Droz can still vomit on command?
>>1049742>>1049800The Resurrection of Jake the Snake is really good as well. DDP comes across as a genuinely likeable and admirable person and it's brutal in how truthful it is.
>>1051240Is there a documentary on Scott Hall?
>>1049567We make movies>chews water
>>1050907Dude can’t piss on command
>>1051392I don't believe so. He is in TROJTS though. I don't know who you'll feel about it but he comes across as really messed up but also a bit of a bastard so he doesn't generate the same level of sympathy that Jake does.
>>1049800Jake has said he’s never watched BtM
>>1049445Wrestling With Shadows.
>>1052889It's ok. I can't piss on command ether.
