Basically stone cold Steve Austin if he wasn’t a cartoon sports entertainment pussy. Tammy aka Sunny was a top tier heel. Smothers vs Candido still the goated ladder match. Even the mummy is better than anything ecw did when you have the context for it. SMW wasn’t just better than ECW it was the only good American wrestling in the 90s. I liked watching SMW on YouTube it was comfy and every episode ran into the next. It felt like an episodic show that made sense. It got really good when Terry Funk showed up. I’ve never watched ECW as it’s never been on YouTube but the ppvs were pretty sick. Both were ahead of their time with shocking violence but ecw seems like a product of the 90’s and went a little bit to far in places. I wish I could watch the weekly ecw shows so I could compare them fairly
