So.
I tried out your joint model. Not really my thing, but I want to continue developing the way I've been doing them.
I also learned I'm not as into making the accessories as you seem to be. I like making wacky monsters. Still, I gave it a shot with some old socks, and I have to admit I'm satisfied with the results.
Here's the new fellas!

I dont just make these for display, they are toys.
The joints I developed over time trying to find ways to keep pieces from breaking off after prolonged use but still retaining the correct proportions of an organic joint. I do really enjoy seeing how much real life detail i can cram into something so smol

I dunno, my days of actively playing with wire guys have somewhat passed me. I don't mind using them regularly as much as making something cool, so some I will make static.
As far as explorations go, I've since tried rubbing the figs with glue to keep the ends of the wires from coming up. I think it;s working alright!

Ima keep this shit goin

Any idea where I can get some info of this like how we have crease patters with origami and printable models with normal papercraft?

The basics of how to make the figures, their skeletons and the rest of the body and so on.

Also, does workings on aluminum paper work for this thread too? Here are some me and my parents did the other day.

Sorry Fren I don't do animation anymore. It's an unholy pain in the ass and I can't write scripts for shit. Happy to make models for someone else though
>>

the dracthyr is rough because he's kind of an experiment. I'm trying new joints and mats on him before I commit them to something else. He's probably my favorite because of that, and the second oldest I still have around

wireframewhoopass at Gmail. send me a screenshot of your (you) and a safe mailing address and I'll send him your way. I would never charge for that. the only reason I made him was for you, charging money for such a thing would be against my principles as a creative

new thing in the works. it's a pain
