No way I'm spending double the price of the book so that's why I either buy the book with other people OR I get it in a trade or as a gift from a very generous friend.About Makoto Books: the designers featured get a fixed amount and a copy, not a % of the revenue. So by buying his books you are supporting origami house, which makes sense but they are the ones refusing to make digital editions.About conventions, magazines: everyone who gets featured gets a copy of the book. That's it. The money goes to the association.
