Well it depends upon you. I don't really know what you're planning to do with it but the one on the left would be better if you're aim is realism though it'll need more work to unfold. Low poly ones like the right are good as static display pieces.

after you're done with the assembly you can fill it with expanding foam for internal structure and coat it with layers of bandages and epoxy glue for external rigidity. That is the perfect way to go about reinforcing this relatively low detail high volume papercraft.

>>
>>598173
>I find wood glue works really well, with a less is more approach.
True on both accounts
>What kind of paper is that?
Normal HP paper Big mistake. I did not expect it to crumble so much during assembly. Might start from scratch with stronger paper, working stand and some semblance of premeditated assembly steps.

Best way so far to mark multiple parts belonging to one feature in model gotta be -Input Text- function. Gonna see how well it works on next print. because finding neighboring pieces in hundrets of parts is slow and maddening.
>>
>>598207
actually the best way is to print with regular paper, cut out the pieces glue them onto ANY cardstock (cereal boxes, boxes of tea packets etc) and then assemble. that way you won't have to buy expensive paper and will have lots of options in thickness or whatever.
>>
>>598212
I'll keep that in mind. Dry food boxes and added glue minght make it both sturdy and light enough so it won't buckle on assembly.
>>

976 KB
976 KB JPG
>>598212
I wouldn't want to add more steps. Cardstock isn't that expensive, but you are limited to what your printer can handle. Construction paper works too. My favorite is photopaper, but that is kinda pricy.
>>598208
It helps to get the pdf open during assembly. You can search for edge ids and see the piece you are looking for.
>>
>>598236
>I wouldn't want to add more steps.
I mean for a project with 70+ pages it really could reduce the price of it by almost half. But yeah the assembly time rises by 30 percent or so too, which honestly may be not a bad thing to begin with. What are you in a rush to complete a paper model?

So thank you Anon. I really like how piece connecting model in back looks like open back dress piece. I might add something similar to later stages.

>>598258
Like crumled paper i assure you.
Here is my template.
-As other anons said use pepa viewer to discern what parts are you looking at.
-less glue is better
-i am rubber you are glue. Use gloves thin if you have them.
-assemble complicated/smaller parts (like boobs, armpits and crotch) first, add bigger/simpler (belly, hips and endcaps) later
-do not bend glue taps too much; many times pieces are connected at just a slight angle
-DO NOT RUSH
Also when setting dimensions i did not considered how old that body it is gonna look like and it ended up worringly close to well endowed 12 y/o so either make absolutely sure no living soul finds it or wait till next version if you can't take the risk.
>>

Is this some sort of challenge or do you really have no acces to printer or copycenter nearby?
How did you even do it? Have you taped paper to your display or have you somehow took measurements and draw it with ruler and protractor?!
Don't you worry about stiching it together one bit. Oh no no no no! Not after you went Devil May Cry - Dante Must die on step one.
Hats off Anon. Now i better finish it before you do.

>>598469
>do you really have no acces to printer or copycenter nearby?
i dont have a printer, and i not going to a copycenter and tell "can you print me this lewd paper torso?"
To make i just taped the paper in my display.
Now, i already finish cutting, but i have no idea on how to glue then into the right format, so this i going to be hard. btw, this is really a timesink, 16 hours on this
>>
>>598476
>i dont have a printer, and i not going to a copycenter and tell "can you print me this lewd paper torso?"
Anon, even if they were so giga brain to discern what finished piece is gonna look like, they generally do not give a shit either way and so should you. We may have gatherered here as bunch of recluse fucks here doesn't mean you gotta stay like that.
I hereby place upon the great quest to walk into sex shop and purchase random porno so as to rid yourself of needles shyness forevermore.
>but i have no idea on how to glue then into the right format
what do you mean? Are you afraid that you messed up dimentions when drawing?
>this i going to be hard
1)you proved yourself to be quite dedicated by drawing all the pieces by hand. Do not doubt yourself further.
2)i do not have appropriate photo at hand but trust me when i tell you you do not have to be exactly precise while building it.

>>598457
Yeah, fall anime seasson be weird.
>>
>>598480
>what do you mean? Are you afraid that you messed up dimentions when drawing?
my concern is how to bend them in the right way, is just glue the same number together or there other way?
>>
>>598454
Interesting. Is Torso-san there to stay or is that girl gonna push her out of Kid-face's life?
>>
>>598481
>my concern is how to bend them in the right way
If you did not transfer bend lines
- - - - - - is a "peak" bend line
_._._._._ is "valley"
and you may have to go over pepa (have you looked it up) and mark them in colour now.
There may be many ways to bend your pieces; I use plastic ruler:
-When you bend peak line place ruler under the paper on the line and bend it over the edge or ruler away from you.
-when you bend valley line place place ruler on the paper on the line and bend in towards you.
>glue the same number together
Yes, you got that right.

Left is a way to go afterall but i'll keep this model for experiment with expanding foam.

3)rearange your parts where they are past boundaies and reduce page count.

Bold of you to assume i had any. That is the main reason why i stay clear of any manual adjustment. Many of potential problems get filtered by Pepa on file load-up and few artefacts that remained are easier to fix on paper or can be flat out ignored. Only thing clear failure i regret is that reinforced vertical fault line where i connected two mirrored halfs since matching, bending and gluing bordering pieces gonna be most likely a major pain of this build.

lol, too late to change it, i already copying it. one lesson that i learned with this is that choosing the design is the most important part for papercraft, i should have used a model with better pose and better faces instead of the simple t pose i now doing. i just hope in full size those problems arent noticeable

If you do fill it with expanding foam instead of cum you can actually cut and smooth it out. Just punch in a bunch of sizable holes in it after filling it so that excess expanding foam doesn't rip it apart from the inside. After that you can either finish it with epoxy, plaster of paris, paper mache or wall putty before painting it.

That perfectly encapsulates what I feel looking at this model.

It's a really impressive construction. Both the design and the work are ambitious, long, and hard, it everything has been executed well.

...And yet it looks fucking cursed as all hell. It's as freakish as is it impressive, and the yellowing of the dried glue is so hilariously evocative of old semen stains that, considering the subject matter, I don't think I'd want to touch the thing without gloves.

Turns out that I printed bunch of parts that for some fucking reason were flipped inside out.
>>
>>600976
1. Really doesn't matter, since it has no texture and the printed paper is white on both sides. Just bend it the way the other part is, if you have to pre-bend them anyway. Really don't suggest doing that, because the craft looks like boxy shit at the end, and is much smoother with no bends at all.
2. OBVIOUSLY, judging by the PDO you have in the background, showing that the model is enother correct, nor fused together. So if you knew how to make actually models and would have looked at the PDO why it has those red lines and the color is not right of it, you would have seen you need to fuse the model together and re-import it for unfold.

Don't jump to conclusions that I know what I am doing lol. I saw all that but didn't get what happened or what I am looking at. I genuinely though that since Pepa divided model along botched divide line it used grey to let me know that it's divided in half.
I'm just a damn amateur, Anon. Be glad I do not work in nuclear power plant.
>>
>>600977
orientation matters because the fold lines and numbers should be hidden inside the model
>>
>>600977
>Really don't suggest doing that, because the craft looks like boxy shit at the end, and is much smoother with no bends at all.
So you do not bend your pieces at all or is there so special method where you do not make sharp bends ?
>>
>>600982
First time i've heard that, though since may have Pepa asked at a load up if I wanna flip model it might have been just my ignorance at works.
I decided to use flipped pieces anyway but building that way feels more tedious.
>>
>>600983
I don't bend anything, except for flaps. And that's it. Looks smooth and narutally bent. Could be a bit more "tidious" to built at first, but the result is soooo much better. The only ones that I do pre-bend are parts that are maybe bent inwards. Except that, don't bend anything and you'll see how much better it looks.

The shoe coom will be unrelated to this, you have my promise

Also Bookbinders use a PVA/Methylcellulose mix. Ratio is usually cited as a 10/1/3 mix PVA/MC/Water. 3/1 mix of PVA to Water if you don't use methylcellulose. There's some sublety to getting everything to mix correctly, there's some decent you-tube videos about it.

But is drinking coffee good for you? Good news: The case for coffee is stronger than ever. Study after study indicates you could be getting more from your favorite morning beverage than you thought: Coffee is chock full of substances that may help guard against conditions more common in women, including Alzheimer’s disease and heart disease. Caffeine is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about coffee. But coffee also contains antioxidants and other active substances that may reduce internal inflammation and protect against disease, say nutrition experts from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Hi, I am back again. Been doing some more research on sealing paper with diluted PVA glue and now all that left is to put it to test. I hoped to fill models with foam first but hardened residue in foam gun let to unfortunate discharge so that is gonna have to wait some more. Regardless, unless I actually do something I ain't gonna learn anything. So it is that 01 gonna get some coats unreinforced since I made her lot more fucked up. As i said accidental discharge

>>601866
As above. Lightly diluted glue proved too thick for window cleaner spray; had to spread the splooge with brush. Hanging was a must. I'll give it a day or two and survey the results with clear head.
