>>
>>581459
Nice one! I'm buying the diagrams. $4.80, not bad. I wish more creators would do this, I'd buy a lot more good diagrams a la carte, paying $4 or $5 directly to the creator, rather than some $50 book for 2 or 3 good models.

I am requesting for a direct and available link to download Origamix Theory and Challenges book. Please put it here in this thread
>>
>>581583
there is none, only cp from tanteidan magazine

Maybe this will help:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4TnFDdW4mg

It is really a hard model to fold. I recomend to use at least 42x42 cm. sandwich paper will work very well to get a functional dice
>>
>>581587
Why about buying it and posting it here?
>>
>>581587
Here is a direct and available link to download this book:
https://www.origami-shop.com/en/origamix-theory-challenges-xml-206_2649_641_517_264-11615.html
And, it only costs 19.99 €.
>>
>>581572
anybody got the paper sizes for the bike?
>>
>>581598
Using a paper which size you know, fold a tire (first part of the diagrams, easy and quick to do)
Then, you'll get an idea of the ratio between paper size and finished model.
>>
>>581600
i meant relative to each parts as well as the proportions of the rectangles, since nothing is folded from squares and nothing is the same size
>>
>>581598
I do. Divide this document in squares and you gwt the size for everything. https://i1.yuki.la/1/5a/fd43bd87c4644bfdf562e6094e1402fe18a858d5329533bc9e8dd772c30e25a1.pdf

btw: the dragon in the special edition is freaming awesome. It is as great as Kamiyas ancient dragon 2.0
>>
>>581602
this is helpful, so from what im seeing, assuming the largest side of any part is equal to one, the 1st sheet is 1x0.75, the 2nd is 1x0.25, the third is 0.5x0.5, the 4th and 5th are 0.75x0.5, and the 6th and 7th are 0.5x0.25?
im actually just guessing on the last 2, but the others seem pretty straight forward
>>
>>581603
nevermind, just looked at the notes which were very helpful. al of what i said was wrong

You are just mad because youre Gotani's n#1 fan.
Whitout much effort, you can find better models of the same animal, for example the T- rex from a tanteidan magazine. It will not quit me the dream not having that book. Besides, Origami Design Secrets and School of Masters are surely far more useful.

This is awesome. I definitely want to make some of these from the bishoujo series.
That said, I suspect they might be near or above my current skill level.
>>
Where I find all or almost NOA and BOS magazine issues? I've tried to find them on exvagos but I cant find them there!
>>
>>581326
Messing around with some models and I’m getting frustrated because I keep getting to the halfway point and coming across one specific step I can’t seem to negotiate. So I decided to take a break and mess around with some sink fold practice, and suddenly it came to me that a sink folded bird base could be stretched in such a way to produce 2 long skinny appendages and 2 shorter ones. And thus, the Albatross was born.
This is just a tiny 5cm prototype I came up with, but I’m thinking it could go somewhere.
>>
>>581892
Then you haven't tried looking hard enough.

Thanks for all the books :)

How did you find it on exvagos? I tried several times to search NOA in the search engine inside the site but I didn't found nothing, the same thing with other books that certainly will be there!

Because I am very familiar with the site.
>>
>>581912
Would you be kind enough to share which button(s) did you specifically press and what key word did you use ?
>>

" Mensaje especificado inválido. Si has seguido un enlace válido, por favor notificalo al administrador".

Why? I need to download NOAs 226-250
>>

>>
>>581918

>>

>>
>>581918
>>581919
>>581922
Are you trying to download the solidfile ones or the 4shared files? Download the 4shared files, they work.
>>
>>581918
For some reason the link to the individual message isn't working properly (it used to). Try this: At the top of the result there's a blue bar that says Ver Mensaje Individual on the left and Tema: jacgarper on the right. Click jacgarper, which will take you to the page with the NOA magazines via his uploader's posts subforum instead of via a search for an individual post. Then the links to the 4shared files should be revealed when you put in the code. (We're lucky his files are still available now that he has passed away.)
>>
>>581897
>>581918
>>581919
>>581922
Do we have to do everything for you?
>>
I just checked all the NOA files (solidfiles and 4shared), and they are working fine.
>>
>>581925
>>581926

The person reporting the invalid link error message has a legitimate issue. If you use the link posted here
https://www.exvagos2.com/showpost.php?p=2268184&postcount=199
to try to get at the NOA magazines at post 199, you get an invalid link error message but no solidfile or 4shared links after entering the code. If you navigate to the same post #199 by going to jacgarper's uploaders forum and manually seeking out post 199, the solidfiles and 4shared links are revealed after entering the code. As I said, clicking jacgarper on the top right of the page brought up by the link posted here is equivalent to manually seeking out post 199. The problem with the posted link and several others I bookmarked linking to NOA books is a recent development because I used those links successfully last week but am getting invalid link error messages using them today.

I managed to pull off the witch from this book, but it was a pain using 22cm 20lb paper.
The face gets so small at this scale that I couldn’t to more than the most basic steps of it, but not bad looking all things considered.
I just don’t have the kind of paper at the size necessary, nor the space to do it.
The closest I MIGHT be able to do is tissue paper, but I still need space.
>>

Damn, forgot the picture.
It came out about 10cm when done.

This is a pretty good video tutorial for Engel's sun. It's in Chinese and is helpful despite not being done with the world's best recording equipment. Hint: kami is very likely to rip around the mouth midline and nose tip - either use a stronger paper or reinforce the area with document repair tape.

>>
>>581588
Has anyone got process photos tutorial for this Japanese>>583399
schoolgirl
>>
>>583413
No, cause I followed the diagram and ended up at that conclusion given the way I interpreted the sinks at the beginning.
Either that or I started out right and when I did the big one I accidentally rearranged something I wasn’t supposed to.
I have 0 experience at CPs, I’ve tried learning them, and after a lot of difficulty managed to make the base for the beetle on Boise’s channel, but I failed completely at the shaping.
I feel like all my artistic endeavors are ever so slightly lacking. It’s like I CAN do stuff, and I can even occasionally invent stuff, but I run into these hard limits of what I can do because I can’t quite visualize what the step wants from me.
>>
>>583700
I AM lacking in experience though.
Forgot to not deny that.
I mean I know my way around a crane and some of the stuff on this thread, but I couldn’t tell you how I did the stuff I succeeded at.
