Sure, there were some people to do things first and there were some people who could afford the right equipment paired with the time to learn technique and how to properly use that equipment and further still there were some people who had the right connections or the people with the right connections were able to find and properly sell those that didn’t. But the reality is that those advantages have been shattered and now, with the eternal march of technology and the inevitable democratization of resources, the great photos of the future will simply be taken by those who are there. And everything that you thought was once great will be cropped, edited, and processed in post. You will be simply be another body. Generations, millennia, eons even, of developed talent will simply be lost to convenience. And the sad part is no one will care. Have fun with your hobby, though. Nice photos.
