If it is something like on the pic you've posted, then totally, the less you spend on your first camera the better. You are in controll of scene, lighting, angles, so you don't need to crank the ISO, you can select the sharpest aperture and just have a ton of fun with your hobby.One thing to plan ahead is that it might be a good idea to look for a macro lens down the road. It will bring the biggest improvements once you will feel comfortable with the camera. Alternatively, to go the low budget route, you can search for the macro rings, or lens reversing methods since again, the scene is static and you can craft the image quality.
