A short photographic series I shot in Scotland. Small houses, large landscapes. I think it's pretty cute

Last one for now. Still waiting on a few rolls to be developed.
The photos shown here are shot on Portra 400 and Cinestill 400D with an Olympus OM-4T Zuiko 50mm f/1.8.

These are all sick and extremely comfy.

Personal favorites because the lone dwellings completely surrounded by nature are most interesting. >>4082393 might have been better when the sun is very low in the sky to emphasize all the tiny ridges in the hills. Anyways, cool shots, thanks for sharing.

You would love medium format OP

I agree, that was exactly the feeling I was trying to capture. And as for the last one, yeah, that was still in the morning at the start of the hike, so it is pretty flat

>>4082511
I actually do own a Pentax 645, it just felt like too much of hassle to carry it around during hikes.

Attached is a reject, the house is just too small and hidden (bottom left-ish)

Try the new H2D from Hassie.
Gonna be switching to that boy asap.
Plus it’s not a gazillion dollars like their H system cameras.
>>
>>4082632
Are you talking about the X2D? That costs $8000? I don't shoot digital anyway
>>
>>4082391
Really enjoyed these, op. Thanks for giving me a new travel destination
>>
very, VERY nice op
>>
>>4082395
I like this one, I think that I'd liked it more with sky framed completely off. The rest are very lazy. Subjects are fine and interesting, but you really need to find better vantage points to shoot them from.
>>
Fuck off we're full, but nice photos

Thank you, I'll take that in mind. Cropping the one you're talking about to 2:1 sorta works, but I feel like cutting the sky out kinda removed the scale of the landscape itself, kinda centering the house too much. These were mostly snapshots during hikes, so I was unable to really focus on the series itself, with the idea mostly forming towards the end of the trip
>>
Comfy location, nice composition and incredible colours.
Excelent shots, fren, with >>4082391 and >>4082572 being my favourites.
>>
>>4082391
I'm probably not qualified to give real feedback but I agree with the others, these are really nice and comfy. Rural Scotland is the most beautiful place I've been to, particularly the Isle of Skye.
>>
Bump. I meant to comment on these but never did. I'll be back this evening
>>
>>4083390
What aperture(s) were you shooting these in, OP?
