Anyone here fuck around with black and white digital? I suppose it's the end result that matters so if you can make it look as close to film as possible, is that frowned upon?

if you're not familiar with film your edits in this regard will be bad. the effect should be pretty subtle, i think. but film simulations as per fuji are pretty good. dxo silver efex can get your from subtle to extreme. just take it easy. keep it dialed back is back or use a reference image
