It would be pretentious if all of my photos were drawovers or were symbolic of mythology, Anon.

Punctuating my art with glimpses of what draws the eye is the point of the process, not selling the idea that I only produce finished stand-alone concepts. That's a weird art world affect, not something practicing artists engage in.
Besides, I often stomp a short little dance after a good photo shows itself to me.

>>3987820
yes, but both photos taken from the same spot. One looking at the tree, the other looking at the ground beneath me (the tile was actually there in other words)
The theme song to Twin Peaks was also playing and I was actively hallucinating my own reality, as we tend to do.

I like that you have stories for your photos and autistically defend them; I envy the pleasure you so clearly take from shooting photos. It's fine if you think meaning is flying over whatever caricature you've assigned me's head. To be clear, I think it's fine to sniff your own farts a bit, I just think you forget that without the context you give after the fact we have only the photo to evaluate.

An example might be >>3987565. I'd look at this and see it's a sign of the times and represents the area you're from but aside from that, it's a near bullseye shot of can cozies and not particularly interesting ones at that. The image just doesn't stand up on its own without the elaborate story I'm sure you'll now share while implying I'm just too bovine to "get" it. There are many such cases.

I just think you'd benefit from a more stringent culling process is all.
>>
>>3987839
>I just think you'd benefit from a more stringent culling process is all.
I think you'd benefit from learning that self-hatred doesn't inform you, it just makes you destroy your own work out of some weird cross of shame and pride.

It's not a case of me sniffing my own farts, it's about whether one's interested in art for self-pursuit, or whether one is interested in art as pursuit of the Self.

You might not realize it, you might think I'm just trying to sound mysterious, but I can tell someone whose interest in art began after puberty. There's a certain affect of maturity informed by the process of having lost your ability to imagine and interpret.

Just a few weeks ago, a woodland elf stole my favorite bracelet. I cannot imagine your outlook on life and suspect you need to get out of the city.

>Killing a snake is reasonable
Killing animals that you are not defending yourself from or planning to eat is never reasonable. Their lives are just as valuable as yours. That said I don't know if isi killed that snake or if it was just the victim of some fathead truck driver. Just saying.
>>
>>3987918
Let me get this straight Anon, you think Isi killed that snake, then painted on the ground around it?
>>
>>3987918
>I come from places at least as rural as isi
Sure you do.

Isi probably found a dead snake or killed a snake, posed the snake and painted around it. You can see that the snake no longer lines up with the large blood stain where it was probably decapitated. Playing with dead shit is on par with teenage roadkill photos.
>>3987933
Take it up with whoever killed the snake dude
>>
>>3987939
It's a water moccasin my father killed with a shovel because it was inside the kayak. It was moved when he turned it over to double check that he IDed it correctly.
That photo is a prayer.
>>
>>3987939
>Isi probably
So you're just making up the scenario to fit with your puerile temper tantrum.
>>
>>3987942
Which is a totally reasonable way to react to a venomous snake in the presence of your family or pets. I just think it's silly/juvenile to play around with it, even if the resulting pic looks pretty cool.
>>
>>3987949
She's part-indigenous, Anon, I think she can play with dead animals if she wants.
>>
>>3987947
Lmao isi isn't going to date you bro

Oh yeah I forgot about the Indian tradition of taking photos of dead snakes mb

Anon, I-
Have you ever heard of pre-modern art?
>>
>>3987954
Where I'm from, a photo that doesn't convey anything other than teenage edgelordism is generally called a shit photo. It's disappointing that you latch on the one critical comment instead of accepting the praise in the others.

Show me those ancient traditional Indian dead snake photos pls

Don't worry, Anon, you edgelord atheists have never been good at understanding ontologies.

Here you go, Anon, maybe this kitsch is more ancient and traditional to you than ontological representation through modern art forms, haha. Behind glass and easy to quantify, just like your wide, dumb eyes.
Sick, sick, sick.

you realize you can add borders to a couple hundred photos in a few seconds with one batch action, right? I've never understood why people think it takes effort to add borders. Are you actually this computer illiterate?

it's not the amount of clicks to add borders that counts
it's the fact you went through those steps with the delusion it would turn your snapshits into art pieces
