I mounted Helios 44-2 58mm f2.0 on my Lumix GX series by adapter. Effects are gorgeous. But there is one issue.Final focal length is almost doubled in this config so its unable to shot any wide plan or landscape.Do you know any used 20mm or less lens on M42 mount?
>>3796862Have you tried Google before starting a thread to be spoon-fed?Wide angle primes are pure shit in M42, starting from 35mm. Good luck with your micro sensor.[EXIF data available. Click here to show/hide.]Camera-Specific Properties:PhotographeriotaImage-Specific Properties:
Lmao enjoy your f6 normal lens
>>3796862Gear thread is that way >>3796593Also, good luck finding some obscure Russian fisheye lens from the 1970's just to get a normal focal length and still have your photos look like pure shit.
>>3796862You could try a 0,5x speedbooster to negate the cropfactor.
>>3797326Probably the smartest post in the thread.>>3796862Good wide angle lenses in the SLR days weren't common, sadly.
There are a few ok-ish vintage wide-angle primes but anything cheap will probably be trash. If I were you I'd look into some new manual primes from china. There's a few companies that make those, they should be okay quality. Pretty sure 7artisans has some micro four thirds stuff, if not you could still use some of the apsc lenses made in china nowdays.
>>3796862buy a film camera

I would use this as an excuse to get an EF to MFT speedbooster and just slap an adapter on it.
>>3797792Know where I can find a C/Y to MFT speedbooster?Metabones discontinued theirs, and I'd prefer to get it from Europe, cuz import fees.
>>3796862just use it as your portrait lens and combine it with the lumix 20mm or olympus 17mm. Also if you want a more flexible focal lenght get the oly 45mm / tt artisan 50mm 1.2.
>>3797799I'd probably just go with the EF one and do the same thing.
>>3796862Just switch to a full frame camera.
