I have this problem all the time, graziers often try to move livestock on the hiking trail and basically block the path. Depending on the dogs and terrain some will shadow you for miles, I've found the more dogs there are the further they will range from the livestock. Aggression Ranges from stand guard and bark, through harry, feign attack, right through to encircling someone and biting at them. These are dogs that could easily kill you if there's more than say... two of them.
