any one go out in israel? negev season is almost over soon i will have to move northward
looks like a desert shithole.blessed holy land my asswhy would anyone want to live in such a barren infertile wasteland
>>2545810that pic is from elat witch is the souther tio of the country by eygpt and technicly not halachich israel, the rest of the country dosnt look like that, this is a pic i took up in the golan heights a few weeks ago i got snowed on
>>2545810>why would anyone want to livemainly what drove me to move here was my dislike of american culture witch is centered on gays and blacks to things i dont like, better sense of comunitie here as well hitch hikeing is still a thing
>>2545814>theres a few green spots>its still 95% desert shitholewow really showed me
>>2545817only 60% is desert the outher 40% is not, and the coastline is amazeing the only parts of america with compreble beaches are hawaii and south florida even still were better than them cuase no huricanes
>>2545796How expensive is Israel compared to California, specifically for traveling on the cheap? Campgrounds, easily prepared food from grocery stores, showers, bus fares, etc. Is Israel safe for Christians to travel in?
>>2545849>How expensive is Israel compared to Californiain california i would pay 11 usd for a burger here it 20 plus usd amd its a smaller burger>Campgroundsi have only done despersed camping without amenities in the time ive been here minus one time i stayed in a tent cabin but i didt pay for that i just walked up on it saw it was empty and moved into it>easily prepared food from grocery storesgrociry is not that dofrent from the states exept for price again everything is more expensive and theres less chains here and more mom n pop type shops>showersdwellings have running water uts not afroca but when i camp i take a pocket shower>bus faresnot to bad actualy, public transportation here kicks ass the only anoying thing is you cant pay in cash you need to get a rav kav card and load money onto it>Israel safe for Christians to travel in?yes just dont be a dick about misionizeing and people will leave you alone
>>2545796Sinai peninsula. And a day-hike in Haifa. Close enough?
>>2545814Looks kind of like rural Spain to me. I remember hiking in areas around Asturias that resemble this landscape (minus the Hebrew brew)
>>2545814>that’s not proper Israel>instead, here’s a photo of the Golan Heights Kek, I don’t think you even see the irony in that
>>2545850lol of course everything is more expensive in Israel.
>>2545914Israel is simply too build up to my liking. Yes, you have a few areas where you can kinda feel alone but the lack of biodiversity doesnt make it feel very inviting. Lebanon got better areas for hiking. I am sure there are beautiful spots around Israel but there are so many better options
>>2545796Hi man. It looks like the surface of the moon to me, but I'd do a night there if I had to. I'd look for a place with green nature to enjoy.
Why the fuck would you post your face on 4chan
>>2546481>incapable of loving nature.i love anture and have my whole life i was tuaght to by my father who waited exactly two weeks from the time i was born to start takeing me out camping in the deser>>2546652we have that up north>>2546752ive been doing it on pol for years started becuase i got tired of people saying jews look x way
Sometimes.
>>2545796
Being a settler seems like a pretty /out/ lifestyle to me. If I was Jewish I would do that. Go squat on a mountain somewhere in Palestine, build myself a shack, and try to be as self sustaining as possible(except of course protection from the natives by the IDF).
>>2548780idf protects arabs from us
>>2545819Lol this looks very kinky
What the fuck happened to this thread.Op, even though i'm incredibly antisemitic, that looks rather comfy. Have you ever considered a dual sport motorcycle go go further out?
>>2545796>Go /out/ in Israel.>Gets hit with a rocket.Nah I'd rather not.
>>2549994>considered a dual sport motorcycli want an old xr 250 i grew up rideing dirt bikes
>roams the stolen land
>>2550573cant steal something belongs to you
What are the chances of getting hit by Palestinian weapon shrapnel? The Iron Dome can only do so much.
>>2545849>will a country of jews charge fair prices?
>>2550651>weapon shrapnelid be more woryd about getting shot or stabbed
>>2545816This is what brown skins are fighting over? I’ve seen better landscapes in bumfuck Oklahoma Lmao
i hiked the length of jordan back in 2019, not israel, but kinda similar.
>>2551784much of jordan is technicly israel the ileigaly ocupied east bank
This feels like larp from how retarded OP is typing while pretending to be someone who came from America. Post photo with timestamp
>>2552450hereפה
>>2545814anon that's Palestine
>>2552506no such country exist
>>2552497אז מה הקטע עם האנגלית שלך? אתה כותב כמו מפגר I've been doing trails near where I live. Feels good, but wouldn't call it /out/doors. There's always a gas station nearby to resupply. I'd like to do the national trail someday.
>>2552542>אז מה הקטע עם האנגלית שלך? אתה כותב כמו מפגרi dont spell check my post and im typeing them out on a phone>national trail someday.me to i dont have a car or to much free time so ive only done litle excersions so far, pic is my freind walking up the road behind me madrigot junction dead sea
>>2552599>madrigotmetsoke dragot junction waiting for the bus to elat right now gonna go to sinai tomorow
>>2552599A car is nice. Doing Shvil Israel in parts instead of the entire 1k km in one go is valid. Watch yourself when you hitchhike, this year has been spicy and Arabs are platinum mad. Nearly Intifada levels of butthurt. Feb-early March is Kalaniot season. Have you visited any place with them?
>>2552604>Watch yourself when you hitchhike,i will be carefull >Kalanioti have not seen them yet but i will keep my eyes open much of the country i have still not explored, right now im in yeshivah in yerushalime so that takes most of my time but im considering leaving it and moveing out to gush etzion and that will give me more time for hikeing and camping untill i get drafted
>>2552604>Arabs are platinum mad. Nearly Intifada levels of butthurt.also fuck palirats spent two days camped out right here over purim גולדשטיין הצדק
>>2552617Yeah you do have yeshiva vibes. Good for you that you enjoy that community. Best to stay with these people if you dislike American culture. It's a pretty Americanized country outside religious communities. I'm from a pretty trad right leaning town and even here's there's gay parades
>>2552625dont get me wrong i hate america and love the haredim but so far my favorite people here whom ive interacted with are the people who live in hebron, im not a city person at all my dream in comeing here was to move to a rural religouse settlement and raise sheep after i complete my army service
>>2552625do you know anything about the sinai im going tomrow with some freinds and in wondering if i will have to tuck in my tzitzit and im woried they may take my teffilen
>>2552637Dunno. I've never been. Ask your friends.
>>2552643thanks any ways אחי
>>2551784I'm assuming you hiked the Jordan Trail. How well blazed is it? I would appreciate a detailed answer.
>>2552919Yeah it was the JT, back then it was sporadically marked, the north 1/4 was pretty well marked, then they pretty much stopped. The south involved some cross country and unmarked travel. I have no idea whether that has improved or not. The trail notes then were kind of useless and topo maps of the country are hard to come by. If I were to go back I wouldn't hike the northern half, I would probably do a Levant Horseshoe, starting in Dana, hike the JT south to Aqaba, then cross over into Israel and hike the southern half of the INT.All in all it was a fun hike, took me 14 days from the Syrian border to the red sea. But the first half involved too much road walking for me. Resupply and water were easy to manage for me as I was moving between water sources well enough. The food available was pretty limited but if you aren't a picky eater it's fine. I didn't use a stove and only pitched my tarp once.
>>2552951Poor donkeh :(
>>2552951moab looks bueatifull, unfortunantly im am visbly jewish and keep kosher so im not sure how safe or practical it would be for me to travel extensivly there
>>2552970>unfortunantlyi mean its unfortunant that i would not be amble to source kosher food and that people might harm me becuase of my ethno religin
>>2552970>>2552971I'm not sure what keeping kosher entails, but I didn't eat any meat while I was jordan. No one asked me my faith or anything like that. However, there was certainly an anti-Israeli vibe there.>moabfunnily enough I was in Moab in Utah last year to start the Hayduke, that was like Jordan but on steriods!
>>2552951Thanks for your response lad. What about recharging devices? Is it easy without staying in guesthouses?
>>2545796Oy vey this thread again?
>>2552993I'm not a big electronics user while hiking so it was easy enough for me to just plug my phone in while resupplying and let it charge while I got something to eat. I think at the time I had a cats41 or whatever, which had a 5kmha battery. So with minimal usage it easily lasted 4-5 days and the JT never had me away from a plug for more than like 3 days at a time.
>>2552972>keeping kosher entaits a butch basicly i cant eat any bread or meat from there would have to bring all of it myself, also my clothing gives my religon away and wrapping teffilen every morning when i pray, just got back from sinai was good and aside from a copy of mine kampf i saw in a store i did not feel any hostility
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgr7dYUvS2M
>>2545819cool rags
>>2545819you tried to hide it in other threads, but i knew you were a kike all along.
>>2553799So how was it? Are the beaches in Sinai really that great as people say? Did you drink איילנד there or is it not the drink of Sinai beaches like it's advertised in Israel.
>>2554453i never hid it >>2554664>So how was it?it was great, very cheap there, all the shops and resprts cater to israli tourist every one speaks hebrew and you can buy alchol, the beaches were good not realy dufrent from elat just way cheaper >איילנדdont know what that is i drank beer water and fruite smoothies mainly guava and mango, 75 sheckles for three of is to stay here for a night
>>2554762>fruite smoothies mainly guava and mangoYeah.I guess you had the original stuff
>>2555001got kicked out of yeshivah need to find a place to camp untill i find a house to rent, any recomendations almost definantly gonna be somewere in the south
>>2555050Go back to the yeshiva and apologize for whatever retarded shit you've done. This isn't the US. You cannot camp without some some boomer in a white pickup truck shining a torch at you in the middle of the night asking to see ID
>>2555052ill show the faggpt my id then, i canped 3 nights right below ein getti illeigal as ffuck the ranger must of seen me to cuase i watched his car go down the road every morning no one bothered me there, i think im gonna take the bus to mizpe romoan and ealk a couple thousand feet into the desert and set up that way ill be close enough to get food and water, hopefully ill be able to find a place to rent soon
>>2555054Don't be retarded. You didn't fly to Israel to be a desert hobo. I don't even know how Bedouins you'll meet there will treat you. Probably definitely feel sorry for your stupidity. Renting isn't so simple, there's a lot of bureaucracy and you need a job, security cheques and guarantors. Online shit like airbnb and booking is overpriced and not a long term final solution. Be a good boy, go back to the yeshiva program and do your pre-army academy, serve your years and work from there. Go ask help from the people you know in preson from your program instead of looking for buddies on 4chan. Are you sure you're not trolling, because this is next level stupidity
>>2555067i actualy did come here to be a sheep hearder in the shomron but that beside the point, the yeshivah made me promise not to drink and i fucked up on the agreement multuple times no cance i could salvahe it, if i cant find a place to rent out in gush ezion in a few weeks i will find another yeshivah, but im gonna be liveing in a tent for at leadt a week or two, think ill set uo just ouside mizpe romoan close enough to get food and water, wont be so bad at all
>>2555067>Are you sure you're not trolling, because this is next level stupiditypostive im not tolling will post pics when i set up, i grew up camping alot to me its as good as haveing a room
>>2555097>will post picsit is with great difuculty i finaly set my tent up in the wind and dark
>>2555242>tent
>>2555252bro i got here well after dark and dont rey know the terain, also forecast calls for rain, and im planning on liveing here for at least two weeks im legit homeless right now, i consider haveing been able to set it up given the weather a success took a while cuase of the wind, to celibrate i now endavor to drink six macabe, markets close early so i had to walk all the way across mizpe romoan and back saw a fox could not get a pic sadly but it was cool
>>2555258
>>2555259only drank two
>>2555413three forgot about the one on theway here aither way failure and i spilled some insode the tent and got the sleeping bag wet shit sucked, better on from here
>>2555415I once knocked over one of those green propane tanks with a little burner on top while running boiling water for some rice inside my tent. Melting a good chunk of floor... Could be worse.
>>2555416>Could be worsemy philosophy exatly, going into town now to get supplys and charge my phone at the chabad
Would love to. What's the language barrier like, Any jew anons wanna guide me?
>>2555457Go walk the INT for an intro.
the little drops of water running off the seams of the tent suck
>>2555457You can easily get by if you speak English.
>>2555052>You cannot camp without some some boomer in a white pickup truck shining a torch at you in the middle of the night asking to see IDThis is blatant misinformation. Nobody will bother you.
>>2555488I I assume you have plenty of money if you can afford these beers? I am now emotionally invested in your arc. Hope you're doing well. Have you considered hiking the Shvil?
>>2552951Is the JT blazed in both directions?
>>2555508>plenty of moneyi have enough for a while untill i can make an apointment with misrad haklita, ive thought about doing a section of the shvil but i dont think i will right now, im hopeing to be able to find a place to rent within a two weeks and get back to normal life, i got an email today from the gush etzion imigration cordinator they sent me some links to go thru and told me to ask on face book groups if any one there has a place available
>>2555516There are many Shvil Trail Angles you can find online, they provide people with a place to stay for a night or more. Maybe that's something for you. So you are an American that's emigrating to Israel solo? Do you have a job lined up? What was the original plan with Yeshiva?Sorry for being so nosey, I'm just quite interested.
>>2555521>So you are an American that's emigrating to Israel solo?yes, technicly i already emigrated got citezenship on the first of march>Do you have a job lined upno orginaly i was just gonna stay at yeshivah untill i got drafted and then figure out what to do after i got out of the idf, but now i will have to figure something else out, most likely i wipl find another yeshivah or try and volunteer on a farm out in the teritories in exchange for housing, just now posted on a gush eztion facebook page inquiring about renting a place hopefully i get a good response
>>2555488>>2555259Man. Getting kicked out of your program for a shitty piss lager. Fuck. If I was doing the whole orthodox religious thing, I'd just not drink alcoholic at all if I can't have something nice.
