if this thread takes off, this seems like an appropriate place for the question. has anyone successfully turned an iron on patch into a velcro patch by ironing the patch to a piece of velcro and then cutting it to fit?
>>
>>2466106
Suppose you could also sew the velcro to the patch.

I have yet to actually put these on anything.
>>2466106
I have not, but your best bet would be to both iron and then sew it to velcro. Double up the stick that way.

I am sorry for not posting pictures but as with several other anons from outside the US I'm now banned from posting files. There have been massive range bans recently.
I have done this with 3 different patches successfully. I used a neoprene contact adhesive normally used for shoemaking. The good thing about this adhesive versus say, superglue is that superglue crystallizes and becomes hard, while this kind of adhesive stays flexible, which is perfect for things like velcro. I'd take of piece of hook-side velcro, cut it to match the backside of the patch, apply glue to both sides, let dry, then press both together. They work like regular velcro patches now.

>Their old maritime flag
Not a bad one, but it was only adopted in 1775 and apparently is still in use today (less the slogan which was only removed in 1971).

I like the other flag because it's the original ensign of the New England Confederation/Dominion of New England which preceded the USA by about 150 years and was the relevant non-English banner under which the six Indian Wars were fought, etc.

My hometown was significantly effected by King Philip's War, with nearby settlements being entirely destroyed, and most people in my town are fully unaware of this history and they should be.

Ah well, I'll pick one eventually. I like the Bunker Hill Flag too but it seems it actually probably never existed and was only the Continental Flag misprinted as blue in a book once

Thank you selfpatchanon, very cool.
Did you consult a tutorial for this? Or just figured it out?
>>
>>2467210
Watched about two videos on YT for some pointers but pretty much just figured it out myself. It’s pretty easy draw or print out what you want cover the back of the paper with graphite, put fabric stabilizer on the fabric place the paper on it & trace the drawing with a pen & the graphite will transfer the image onto the stabilizer (You can just glue the paper right on the fabric if you don’t have stabilizer.)& all you gotta do is hoop it find the colors you need & get sewing, add a satin stitch all the way around & bam you got a patch. Here’s a little guide I made that I also shared in /K/

I like it, the load bearing is fantastic and I like that the side pouches are large enough for 48 oz nalgenes. If you're evaluating the price though keep in mind that you're probably going to want to replace the stock compression straps with one of the pouches that have and get one of their lumbar belts as well.

Sorry for the mothering question and maybe it's just the picture, but does he always walk with his right foot turned inwards? If so, you might want to check that out and get him orthopedic insoles made to fit him specifically. He can outgrow it now, saves him a lot of trouble later (I wish my parents had).
>>
>>2466106
I did do that once but i suppose that most velcro strips don't take the adhesive from the patch well. so the best way is to iron them on first and then sew them on.
>>
>>2470664
Too dark. Outline the tree and kiwi, and make the ground green.
>>
>>2467235
the only change this needs is fixing that tangent between the tip of the blade and the P of CHOP. when things touch like that it's annoying to look at, space them out a bit
>>
>>2469723
It's a Tasmanian Tiger Raid mkiii.
It's heavy for a 50l bag, but its tough. I can carry a winter bag and 4-5 days of food in it easily, although there isn't much room spare for extra fun things like cast iron.
