Not enough. as an eufag there's not a whole lot of difference, even when you fly somewhere
Coastal camping is pretty sick but it's impossible to be far away from dog walkers

>temperate rainforest
>temperate broadleaf forest
>coastal pine forest
>swamp/poquosons
>barrier islands
>oak savanna
>short and tall grass prairies
>low desert
>high desert
>canyonlands
>oak/juniper/pinion woodlands
>montane forest
>subapline forest
>alpine tundra
my favourite microspecific biome has gotta be ponderosa/aspen parklands tho

big things i still want to get to is arctic tundra, boreal forest, any kind of proper jungle or rainforest, tropical islands, and whatever the biome that has fjords is called

One of my dream outtings is to kayak the Everglades and sleep in the mangroves in my jungle hammock, as long as I'm high enough where gators can't lunge for me (have to take into account the tide may rise significantly overnight)

I've lived in over half the states in the U.S. and went /out/ in every one. My favorite is still the Pinyon-Juniper woodlands of Western Colorado which is where I currently live. There's nothing quite like being smack in the middle of high desert, walking a few hundred yards and winding up in a glade copse of quakeys, only to walk a bit further and end back up in the pinyons. Least favorite are the cypress swamps of Florida, but that's just because I got bit by a cottonmouth in one.

I think the USA ties China in number of koppen climate types when you count just the contiguous USA. But they you also get to add Alaska (doesn't add much since alpine tundra/glacier are the same climate type as high arctic tundra/glacier) and Hawaii.
the USA is objectively the most /out/ country

South Florida fag here.

I'm embarrassed to admit that ive never outed in the Everglades. I've done plenty of hikes in cascade mountains

Was going to start my own thread but might as well ask here. Whats the best footwear to slog through a swamp? Something preferably high top

Being from the US I can't imagine not being able to easily get away from all people. What's it like bong bro?

It can be annoying, but, practice general stealthiness and you are usually unbothered. Plenty of places to get away from people, not very far away mind you but still. At camp it's usually fine, people look at you funny for simply having a backpack in most areas though.

Rocky Mtn Boot Co. S2V Jungle Boots.

Bigtime Floridafag, hauled them through every godforsaken swamp in the state. They're fantastic. Comfy sole, drain quick, dry fast.

It's slightly harder here on the east coast than it is out west, ever since all trails the normals have swarmed all of them.

Yes, normalfags ruin every niche hobby or community they enter (see this site and anime, or literally any other thing), they know not what they ruin.

I wish I could find a nice prairie camp spot. Very very little of the prairie has been preserved, it's mostly just farmland. Following the Red Deer river, especially near Drumheller has some preserved land.
I've camped a lot in Ontario before I moved, and a few times in the foothills of the rockies.
The prairies are very underrated and beautiful.
The feeling and sound of the wind and grass is incredible. And the prairie dogs are cute.

Well, yeah, because the covidfags are mostly tourists from facebook, reddit, twitter and other sites. And a lot of underage kids who didn't have to go to school.

What kind of woods?
