Hondabros… It’s over…

My car uses electricity already.

Ew, gay.
>>

It has an HVAC and headlights. Those need electricity. My car already has “electrification”.
>>
>billions of batteries that can’t be recycled
>strip mining parts of Africa for rare earth minerals
>lithium refineries
>most of the world still uses coal to generate electricity
can any environmentalist justify this destruction or are all of you actually retarded?
>>
>>27023416
>>batteries that can’t be recycled
Technically they can, they just aren't.
>>
>>27023416
they're called libtards for a reason
>>
>>27023410
Shut the fuck up faggot, that's not what that means
>>
>>27023416
They actually do justify it at times so they really stand for nothing
>>
>>27023396
Promises to change years into the future are practically always lies to appease current idealists without having to actually act on anything. If they cared about making a big change they would do it now. If the change was truly beneficial, they would do it without being forced to and they would make it as soon as possible.

Toyota was cucked by Honda in the 2000’s by becoming boring, neglecting VVTL-I, and by not pushing the Toyota Matrix to its full potential.

But now is their chance to come out on top with their hybrid engines. Honda can keep on playing their silly little turbo 4 bangers while they figure out how to make their stuff electric. Lol. The irony.

Don't start act like you care about mining and human rights just because you don't like EVs
>>

You're not convincing anyone, not even yourself, that EVs aren't massively environmentally friendly compared to Rube Goldberg machines.

I don’t speak for him but personaly, I hate EVs because I care that it’s causing human rights violations and so much fucking destruction and pollution. It’s not that hard to wrap your head around.

stihl has converted like half their model lineup to this battery electric crap and i dont think theyve sold a single one

Electric makes sense for yard care. Quiet and convince. Also more reliable. Only Mexican landscaping crews need gas leaf blowers and weedwhackers. And honestly they make so much noise and pollution I'd prefer to just have leaves in my neighborhood

Literally me when they are doing yardwork in my hood

Also me when they're blowing leaves all over the neighbor's new chally

There's no SER anymore and iirc the last SER was just a badge and some brakes

louder than any motorcyle can be in yruop

I can't wait for this to ruin a bunch of companies. Anyone with half a brain is already spending 20k on low miles cars from the 90s and 00s

Welp, there goes another.
>>

I don't care you're right. But I'm not the one saying you need to switch to EVs for moral reasons.

>Electric makes sense for yard care
Lol what? That's one of the most retarded areas to use battery power. Landscaping maintenance crews use gas powered power equipment because their professional work requires no-nonsense, powerful equipment that can be used all day in a variety of weather conditions. Battery powered riding mowers don't exist for obvious reasons and gas trimmers and leaf blowers offer the most powerful and can be refueled in seconds.

>>27023400
I don't get why Honda would do this. If you're buying electric shit with one moving part, why would you buy a more expensive Honda compared to a massively cheaper option from China? Honda is known for its motors, so if you get rid of that the brand really has nothing and is just gonna get undercut by cheaper options. The only way to stop the incoming China EV flood is to either outright ban them or enact massive tarrifs.
>>
>>27024628
>I don't get why Honda would do this
Yeah I don't get it either. Maybe it has to do something with 35 countries worldwide pledging to ban anything that isn't a BEV. I don't think you can sell ICEVs if they're banned.
>>
>Unlock the VTEC Power Boost DLC to unlock your motors' full performance for $449 / month!
Good Grief.
>>
>>27024644
The countries wouldn't do it if the manufacturers didn't play ball. Contrary to all of the
>two more weeks
from EVbros, battery technology is still nowhere near what it needs to be to make sense for mass EV adoption in the US and rural Europe. Anyone with a brain knows this, the elites just unironically hate the working class.
>>
>>27024585
>Landscaping maintenance crews use gas powered power equipment because their professional work requires no-nonsense, powerful equipment that can be used all day in a variety of weather conditions

The average boomer in suburbia with 500 sq ft lawn can mow it with an electric walk behind once a week. Then you don't have to tune it or put gas in it. objectively better. And theres no reason you cant replace the gas engine in a ride on with an electric drive and 48v LFP batteries. Electric drive works great for low speed and or low range vehicles.

And as mentioned above the crews should use electric because of noise and pollution. Those leaf blowers and weed eaters produce as much pollution as 10,000 cars and spew it right at the workers. And they are super noisy. They should just have 2KWH backpacks to plug in leaf blowers and weed Wackers.

That's retarded. You should care about Africa, just not about Africans.

>>27024813
Ive used one of those and you have to push it pretty hard to make it cut. Average person is too lazy and weak. They would prefer a self propelled electric walk behind

I've used a ton of battery powered shit for yard care. It is unequivocally better than gas shit. Professional yard crews use gas because it doesn't make sense to have a fuckload of batteries charging since they have to do multiple yards.
> Battery powered riding mowers don't exist for obvious reasons
nobody needs one. It's just for boomers to spend money on
>gas trimmers and leaf blowers offer the most powerful and can be refueled in seconds.
electric is plenty powerful and the battery lasts long enough to do what I want. I also don't have to deal with the following
>Don't have to store gasoline
>Don't have to pull start
>Don't have to wear earpro
>Don't have to fuck with carburetors
>Don't have to drive to a gas station with a jerry can
>>
>>27025062
>nobody needs a riding motor
T. Doesn’t own land
>>
>>27025062
>better then gas
no that's just wrong.
Electric is better then 2 stroke for MOST home owners
>store gasoline
if you aren't doing that you shouldn't even be on this board
>pull start
DYEL
Most of these implements are either smoll 2 strokes or simple 200cc singles. EZ
>earpro
eh, muffs are comfy and for some of the jobs you need a mask anyways
>carbs
proper usage and storage fixes that
>gas station
cope and sneed.
>>
>>27023405

very gay

electric cars are shit. libtards have ruined society
>>
>>27025139
>Electric is better then 2 stroke for MOST home owners
right so you agree with me for the average homeowner is better
>if you aren't doing that you shouldn't even be on this board
this is not a prepper board
>DYEL
I can do it just don't want to
>eh, muffs are comfy and for some of the jobs you need a mask anyways
makes my ears sweat
>proper usage and storage fixes that
not having to do that is better than doing that
>cope and sneed.
I drive a gas car
>>
>>27023701
I have an electric mower and it's pretty alright for a small yard. That thing eats through its battery in no time so you gotta be careful to not let your grass grow too high.
>>
>>27025119
My friend has many acres of land. He has an electric weed eater and walk behind mower for right around the house and a diesel tractor for the rest of it. He also uses battery chainsaws. His setup works really well
>>
>>27025228
They make multiple sizes of batteries for those things. The good ones can go full throttle for 1 + hour, and the battery is swappable.
>>
>>27025262
I have two of them and swap them in case one goes out. Genuinely no complaint about the thing, it's even very light so it's easy to push around.

That's what I like about e-mowers. Its very low effort and easy. Pull a trigger and push it for a few minutes. My mom hasnt asked me to mow her lawn since we got it. Its like a cordless vacuum for grass.
>>
>>27023396
Honda has been over for nearly two decades at this point, nobody cares.

Yeah ok call me in 2035 when that deadline is 2050.
