When making a right turn at a red light. Do you wait for both lanes of traffic to be clear or do you turn even when there are approaching vehicles in the left lane? I often wait because I don't want to clip the approaching vehicle and I often see other drivers wait in this situation as well.

I nudge out, see if they look like they are going to move into the right lane in the middle of the intersection like an asshole, then go. This takes all of 2 seconds to process.
