how legal/difficult would it be to build a fake bike, or perhaps buy a nice bike but remove the motor etc and set up a cheap/fake one but it has a bomb in it and when a thieving nigger tries to start it, it explodes and kills him. And then you plant 4-5 across the city so that niggers don't dare steal bikes anymore

never had a bike stolen but just the thought pisses me the fuck off. You don't mess with a mans vehicle.

I haven't followed this at all, but why would you get one of these instead of a 6r or higher? Or just a 400 ninja?
>>
>>26667270
There are bait bicycles that work on this concept by putting a taser in the seat or the handlebars.
>>
aaaaaaah why is it such a fucking ordeal to get a motorcycle licence in the EU I just wanna ride a baiku before half the fucking season is over
>literally don't have a drivers test until August 27th
>>
>>26667291
The main reason would be it has cheaper insurance than any 600, allegedly. And that it makes a bunch power with mods. But even then it's less than a 600 while weighing about the same
>>
>>26667293
yeah thats all fun and games I want them to die.
>>
>>26667299
So put bigger capacitors in the taser.
>>
>>26667293

>>
I'm tearing my eyes out because of this.
Do I NEED a peak on my helmet if I'm doing off roading or should I just get a normal road helmet?
>>
>>26667244
whats it feel like
>>
>>26667331
No the reson to buy an offroad helmet is for better air flow and visibility. During slow moving riding that is physically intense having that better air flow really helps. The visor also helps stop roost from getting in your face

>>26667331
No you don't need a peak. You do however need a helmet with a lot of ventilation. Off-roading is typically slower than street riding, so there is much less air rushing through the helmet to stop the visor fogging up. A street helmet won't be great off road.
Pic is best of both.
>>
>>26667297
its half the insurance cost of a 600. It weighs way less than a 600 with those mods, and obviously isn't going to make as much power. You're trading that with agility. Same reason 1000s handle way worse than 600s
>>
>>26667347
>>26667357
Yeah I'm aware of the better ventilation and visibility. I'm just trying to compromise and get a helmet that's cheap enough to replace my currently one which kinda sucks all around.
Seems like there is no good adventure helmets under 400$ and its just looking like I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and get an expensive helmet. Which I don't particularly fancy because its gonna get scratched and bashed around a lot when I'm gonna go around in the woods.
Thought I'd just get a not as expensive but solid road helmet for off road use.
>>
>>26667352
I'll take it to a shop for warranty reasons

Help, frens
>>
>>26667372
I've seen different quotes for it some nearly as much as a 600. And they could gow up once new rider start crashing them. As far as weight goes it weighs more than some 600. I get that it has abs as standard but most people don't care if their bike has it or not. Sure you can make it lighter with a different exhaust but you can do that to a 600 as well. You might be able to get it fractionally lighter for slightly less money over but personally I think it fills a niche that a but overly specific. We'll see how it sells in the long run I guess
>>
>>26667396
For sure will have to see. Where I am, the quote was 10500 OTD or so, and insurance was 1400 (versus 2300 for a 600). Hopefully they release it in real colors and quantity next month so we can get reviews.

Happy hunting anon.

I found that video too. Kinda wonder why scorpion doesn't post the weights of basically any of their helmets.
I'm thinking of changing my helmet as well and have looked at the airoh commander. The posted weight, at about 1400g, is lighter. On the other hand the adf9000 is certainly homologated to ece 22.06 which is much preferable.

I think i saw someone die today bros.
I was putting my groceries into my bags at a kroger parking lot when I heard and saw a red 600 speed by at mach fuck on the main road.
Minutes later I encountered the stopped traffic, three cars all bashed up, a split helmet on the ground, and a black dude laying motionless and rather contorted.
For once, I kind of feel bad for the car drivers, and all the people that had a few minutes added to their commute. his bike took out a "we're hiring" sign too.

Depends what you want the bike for. If it's your only bike then I'd go for the SR400.
More reliable, uses less fuel, parts are easier to get, probably safer to ride because all the bearings and suspension parts will be in good condition.
If it's a second or third bike that you want to have character and cruise around on occasionally then get the CB. It's definitely cooler

To be fair, one can crash better, put it down, hop off, roll in a more graceful way than not. I'd say I'm something of a professional when it comes to crashing. I've been in 10-15 major auto accidents and a couple more major and countless minor accidents on two wheels. Never had an injury. Had a couple times that seemed to defy physics how I wasn't hurt. Only injury ever was from an ATV ramping gone wrong.

It doesn't weigh way less than a 600 with mods. The WSS minimum weight used to be 348lbs.

>>26667597
Although they aren't as shit stock obviously, WSS also had stock wheels and even stock sub-frames (so there'ssome more that can be saved with bolt-ons while a ZX-4 is going to require cutting up the frame and welding on mounting tabs) at the time.

Anyways, I mean my track 600 and stock 300 probably weigh nearly the same but the former feels like twice as fucking heavy because of tire shape, CoG height, steering geometry, engine inertia, brake drag, etc. A lot of those numbers are going to be a lot like a 650 twin but it's going to have a crank close to as long as a 600 so it will probably not change direction as well.
>>
>>26667244
How does your 250(30?idk) fair on more urban roads? Does it eat up potholes and curbs like people say it does?

the RE is shittily made and very slow. IDK about the swede. Shit like the R NINE t scrambler isn't capable of anything more than gravel roads, but it is better on gravel than a 100% road bike (like the r NINE t cafe raper

Thank anon. It has a couch too! I built it to be the ultimate work shop and hang out spot that you can do almost anything with.
>insulation
>heat and a/c
>high ceiling
>good lighting, adjustable with several switch patterns
>2 post lift
>big open space
>big awning out front and side
>lounge area
>entertainment center
>theater tier sound setup

Even the girls like to hang out in here. Even being a shop, it's very hard to not feel comfy in there.

I haven't had a lot of girls over there, but a few have been inside and they remarked how cool it was. The bitches love the shop. Just look at this. How could they not love it.

If you want to work on your bike/learn to work on it and you live outside the US, the scram 411 is a fantastic starter. The only real downside of it is it's relative lack of speed, which in Europe for instance is not really a problem since very few roads actually get to US highway speeds and there's always a smaller and slower path available as well. And since the bike calls for semi frequent but easy maintenance, it's a great platform to learn on.
Though I will say that scramblers are basically just streetbikes with some light adv features, although the scram 411 being basically just a himalayan with 19 inch wheel is easily the most dirt capable scrambler.
