Hello. Can anyone share info on how to use JTAG to unlock FSD on MCU2? Thanks! Also interested in any shops that can do this.

Are u trying to download a car?

Not quite. Modifying the data on one of the chips via JTAG.

What kind of chip is it? first thing you need is the data sheet

30 seconds in googul tells me that you'll have to get an adapter board to unlock jtag when you have mcu2.
What are you trying to achieve here?

Sounds like you're asking to get remotely locked out of your car lmao
>>
The only complete guide I can find online is paylocked. Maybe someone has an open source community link or knows someone who can do it themselves. Tesla has not banned any car for this unless the vin is disclosed.

>random mishmash of components sharted all over the board, no attempt to group by functional block or optimize chip reference layouts to board form factor, almost no EMI shielding techniques used despite clear presence of components that should use it, kapton ""shield"" on bottom right module (probably to prevent the coax insulation rubbing off and shorting stuff to GND lmao), a fucking laptop blower fan for cooling in an automotive application, traces probably auto-routed

Tesla sisters... I thought electric car companies were good at circuit boards??

>no EMI shielding techniques used
>literally enclosed in a metal chassis in the picture

The board layout looks okay. It's not the best or the prettiest but it appears to get the job done. Since it's a production board then it has already passed all EMC/EMI testing under the automotive standards. The kapton tape is just a cheap way to stake that wire bundle and is acceptable for the application.

Another /o/ user knowing just enough to comment on shit but dunning-kruger's himself into the trash.
