I'll reiterate a couple of points and add on a few things from the last time I talked about it, a large reason we didn't want to work on it is because of the aforementioned but there's a large list of things that piled on top of one another and we just don't feel like doing it anymore.

- We're spending money on production that could be used for that sticker on other products instead. Pre-orders are gone, and we don't want to create a 6 week lead time (pre-order + production).

- I worked briefly with desuprint who informed me of issues with production, a large one being that Taiyo works in Inkscape primarily and the design would have to be completely rebuilt in Illustrator along with the white ink layer. desuprint also had the foil we wanted to do it on, however he has told me a while ago he is unable to reproduce it. The cost in paying him to print the stickers would be exploiting and underpaying him, or it would end up charging the customer out the ass. Paying over $10 for a sticker is stupid, and that's ironic because my store will only offer tracked shipping in the future and I apologize for any international orders because shipping is literally going to eat people's asses.

- Many things have been on my backlog for a while. In the past 6 months, nearly every original Taiyo design has been under renovation along with new(er) projects. I reflected over my FOTM drop and figured it wasn't something I wanted to force myself to do like I did before after Grandmasterslices gave me input that made me realize I was pushing myself way too hard and getting frustrated over nothing.

Here goes - Any of you guys make or know someone that makes bigger stiggers? I've got a green CJ that was originally a Renegade and I'd like to add the side decals back. I've got a .dwg file created by one of the jeep autists on one of the dozens of jeep forums that exist, so there wouldn't really be any design work necessary.
I know Phoenix Decals makes a set, but they're like $tree fiddy, and that seems steep for stickers. I also don't really want the hood decal, just the letters and stripes.

Most of the "popular" vendors took on way, way, way more orders than they could ever possibly hope to fulfill, went totally radio silent for 3+ months, then finally came back and did a half assed apology and "closed" their store while they catch up on orders (with Fuji and Desu specifically now being closed for 4+ months)

All the other ones except Taiyo and Loner's Crew have disappeared entirely or stopped caring and went normie mode on their sites.

At this point if you buy from any of them expect a 3-6 month lead time on your $5 worth of stickers.

Basically, I'd rather just buy my shit from Redbubble because at least I'll get it within a week and if I don't like it, I only spent a buck on whatever I got.

I get the appeal of MGS1's graphics on the PS1, but this is MGS2 on the PS2 and doesn't have that same appeal for me.

I also prefer to vector anything that is low resolution and it doesn't matter anyway because I don't plan on releasing this as a product unless I magically come up with a few other Kojimbo designs, which I won't.

When any of you do a spine with solid, opaque slaps, do you find you've fucked yourself seeing what's behind you? Is it so bad that you regret it?
