How do you get unstuck if you're bogged down in mud and have nothing to winch to/no tow vehicle to save you?
>>
Depends on how bogged. If it's really sank, you'll need another car. Traction boards are another option and stacking other stuff underneath the tires to it grab traction.

Get a shovel and dig

Order gravel

you just die.

https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/smittybilt-w-a-s-p-winch-anchor-support-platform-2727/_/R-DSBP-2727

supposed to be able to drive it into the ground somehow and its like an anchor point for recovery
>>
>>26107234
I drove my anchor into your mom's muddy ground last, if you can catch my drift

Now you're thinking with portals.

This.
You wrap your winch cable around your spare tire, dig a big ass hole and bury you tire.
Usually used in desert sand when there's no boulders or trees but also works in mud.

>dig until you've cleared away all that is kepeing it bogged/beached
>maxtrax might help
>anchor to dig down and winch from, although it depends heavily on the weight of the material you're digging into, weight of vehicle and all
Mud kinda sucks you in once you stop, and breaking that traction with a winch to a portable anchor is probably not gonna be succesful

Generally; going to a place like that without another vehicle so you can assist eachother is stupid

Leave it there and buy another one like a normal person

>>

If you haven't studied extrication and fail to bring basic tools you're too stupid to deserve help and should be left for the crows.

>have nothing to winch

What does that mean in English, thirdie? Your vehicle is something TO winch. It is not A winch (unless you bought hub capstans which make your vehicle the winch.

Anyone serious studies extrication and recovery videos and at least carries a Tirfor (EU, Oz) or a Wyeth-Scott (US) puller with appropriate cable and or rope, at least one snatch block and accessories to taste. That stuff is handy for DIY of all sorts and worth owning.
>>
>>26107116
dig, winch
dont try to yank the vehicle out with a rope you will break stuff or snap a tow hitch off, possibly really fuck stuff up.

go watch some shit on youtube/matts offroad recovery
>>

>nothing to winch to
folding pull pall, if you refuse to buy one then get a big peice of scrap iron and a shovel to bury it with, even if you do get a pull pall I also reccomend having a shovel
>>
>>26107878
It clearly says nothing to winch to, as in nothing to attach a winch to other than the vehicle, which is useless if there's no trees around. Are you esl? Maybe retarded?
