Your car does come with a built-in games console, right?

For me it's halo:ce on a 2006 Denali drop down tv.

I don't get why everyone is putting big screens in their cars but only Tesla has the sense to actually make it useful by giving you access to streaming services while parked.
>>
Does it play burnout 3
>>

It's mostly because Tesla are really customer focused, the old cartel manufacturers hate their clients.
>>

Why wold you hang out in your car and drain the battery to watch goyflix when you can just mount what ever device you wanted to the dash and watch while you crooz?

I drive a lot of long distance in my Tessie and I do the work around so I can watch Netflix while driving.
I have to say this is based, I have caught up on so many box sets as I drive thousands of miles.

I usually dont get motion sickness, but this was too much.

1. All the accessories run off the 12v battery. It barely uses any energy compared to the energy it takes to move a 4000 pound vehicle.
2. The 15 inch display is bigger than any portable tablet and hard mounted so there's no risk of it falling. It also doesn't block visibility like a dash mounted display would.

Every car should just come with an integrated Switch dock so you can play Smash Ultimate on roadtrips with the boys while the car is on Autopilot

Tesloids don't like cars. They don't like driving. They get in their Tesla and immediately start watching Big Bang Theory or playing Animal Crossing. Tesla threads don't belong on the auto board - /o/

>>25919079
This. They wont complain when the government eventually makes self driving the only way to drive. They will rejoice because all they care about it is Le Cool SciFi Technology
>>
>>25919068
How about enjoying the view of the roadtrip and actually talking to people about real life experiences? At this point just fucking connect yourself to your PC and forget about the real world.

I have fond memories of playing Golden Sun on road trips in middle school in the early 00s...
...but tell me, why would a car have a fucking driving game? Does it suck that much to drive?
>>
>>25919388
Honestly that will be ok. Merge modern transportation into a single board.
Boot outdated transportation to /old/.

Tesla added a bunch of games back during the days of the first gen 120kW Superchargers that took about a half hour to deliver a decent amount of range.
Now that 250kW Superchargers get you back on the road in under 10 minutes they're kind of obsolete, but Tesla hasn't removed them, and they are still pretty fun at meet ups.

With the impending upgrade to 325kW and who knows how fast the gen 4 Superchargers will be (could be 750kW) it seems like the long charging wait times the games were meant to alleviate are a thing of the past. Which is why nobody else in the industry is doing it.
Tesla apparently lets you play games on the rear screen in the Model S while the car is driving. Bet Tesla makes rear screens an option in more cars.

Probably not in the same way that airlines are removing IFE screens because everyone uses their own iTabs these days
>>

Back seat of a car is a little different situation compared to a plane. Back seat on a trip is usually kids, who might want to play the same game against one another, and where the parents might want to limit their screen time.
