Finley have my garage empty for the first time in a year, after storing a non-running vehicle and then my friend's stuff. Really looking forward to working on my car in here finally. I bet some ofyou have way better garages though. Let's see em. Even better there's a WIP car inside.

I have a garage and a "workshop".
Old pic, the shop is full of junk, tools littered all over the floor, 3 engines scattered around and so on, gotta do some heavy clearing and cleaning for the winter to put the skoda back in for an engine swap.
The cat, NIGGERMAN, also has gotten a lot fatter

Nice. Is that an e300d?
I really want to get one of these some day, especially a 123 (but I like 124s too)

Still pretty trashed from painting that jeep in this pic, but it usually looks pretty trashed so its fitting.

Yes you do, you just lack the willpower.
Don't clean it all in one go, clean up every day a bit and in a week or two it will be clean enough

Thanks, was a 200 buck barnfind, coming winter I'm dropping a Felicia 1.3 high comp engine in there, try to rig my Weber DGV to it and later on either bike carbs or a Solex 32 DIS and a supercharger

Not many, especially the GLS "sport" version I have.
Probably a handful left in working condition

Unrealistic to make an entire wall a shadow board.
The precision instruments are all in a shadow board in the pic. Even has sliding doors to avoid debris from damaging tools.

vacuum reservoir? evap tank?
what does that tube leading to it connect to? that would be a big clue

Year? How is it, and how is maintenance on it? 21 and really hoping to get a Boxster in the next few years as my first (hopefully not last) Porsche

1998. The engine is currently put and being repaired
Crankshaft pulley bolt backed off and let the pulley wobble around. This broke the dowel which let the pulley free spin and eventually get the belt caught in it, ripping out an idler pulley in the process and breaking the threaded aluminum boss it mounts onto
Figured I'd do some other preventative maintenance while it's out as well like new chain tensioners

But yeah, I suggest replacing the crank pulley bolt with a new one and using some red locktite. Pedro's garage and Pelican parts have plenty of guides in how to do everything on these cars, you don't need to break the bank with them, but you shouldn't take shortcuts with maintenance either

This seems OCD enough that it might actually just be procrastination. I do have a bunch of pegboards in my garage though. I was thinking of putting them up.

thanks for your answer anon but googling vacuum reservoir and evap tank doesn't match the thing

the tube leading to it connects to a vaccum pump with OEM serial 2930027010

Jealous as fuck. A garage is pretty much the thing I desire most. I just keep my bikes and other shit in the corner I've taken over in the area under my apartment building.

Toyota 5S owner here, what did you mean by this?

many thanks anon

it's a bit of a freak lol. the previous owner had the m96 ripped out in favor of a built up 996 motor that's enlarged to 4 liters with 997 and 996 turbo parts, and then slapped a big turbo charger on it
>>
>>25919450
Pics or it didn't happen. M96 is knows for blowing up under even the slightest amount of boost
