Is it a bad idea to buy a 200k mile car with 1 owner?
>>25614875Just rebuild engine and transmission if it’s an autotragic and you basically have a new car
>>25614887Manual Chad. How long will they really last if properly taken care of? Thing seems completely perfect
>>25614875Not necessarily but if you’re actually looking at a rodeo you might want to reconsider. I bought a 5 speed trooper recently and though it’s a great little truck, I’m having trouble finding parts anywhere and when I do find them they’re crazy expensive
>>25614875I had this generation of Rodeo. Wish I hadn't have been too cheap to replace the axles and just kept it instead of letting it go for a song.
If it got regular oil changes every 7k-10k mi it's fine
>>25615076Is the early 2000s good to?
>>25615003Worth itBetter than a Toyota otherwise
>>25615121i do mines every 3k, but then again I use cheap oil instead of good stuff so there's that
>>25615532>17 spline axles>better than ToyotaI'm thinking nah
>>25614875they're getting rid of it for a reason.you don't keep a car that long and then just dump it off because you were bored.
>>25615539>>17 spline axles>>better than ToyotaYes
>>25615555Maybe they have to many cars? Guys well off
>>25615568>can't greentext>can't into mechanicsBasement dwelling GM fangirls get the rope
>>25615579>GM? Wtf lmaoAnd I'm on a phone you loser
>>25615581>Isuzu Rodeo>not GMKeep dwelling that basement anon.
>>25615588the isuzu rodeo is a Honda you moron.
>>25614909They'll last forever if you properly maintain them. Engine require a rebuild eventually, but most of the time they're harder to kill than to maintain. Oil and filters, cam belt, seals. It'll run forever.
>>25615624The Honda Passport is an Isuzu Rodeo, not the other way around.
>>25615581Look under the hood retard, there’s GM parts everywhere>t. 1993 trooper owner
>>25615624That's some low effort shitposting anon.
>>25614875I've got one of these and it's alright. Worth about 2k.
>>25615683Only gm part is the shitty automatic transmission
>>25615528I remember them being OK in their day, I haven't really followed them on the used market. Mind the rust, it was a recall on the rebrand Honda Passports at least for that generation.
>>25616170to be more specific - frame rust in the rear>>25616053I had a 1992 2wd V6 auto, never had any issues out of the drivetrain whatsoever.
>>25616053Ignition coils and other assorted bits here and there are also gm parts. But yea the biggest part is the 4L30E trans
>>25614875Dependes the price and how much you want itHow much is it?
>>25617585$2500I want one but want one to last
Depends. My jeep ZJ has 225k miles and I bought it for 1k. In has the 4.0 inline 6. Needed a near rear end and now I daily it. I need to get new shocks though because it floats like a boat
>>25614875Man this thing is so stupidly good looking
