>>25585476They're as solid as you can get them via printing but as long as there's a gap vs a solid piece from a mold, you'll run a risk of the print cracking, moreso when it's out in the elements. It's like trying to make sex toys with an filament printer, the smallest gap, even 10 microns, allows things to settle in and weaken the print while allowing germs to grow. Only way to know is to use it as you would and see how long it lasts. I have a resin and FDM printer, been using them for years but never bothered with making things I know would be exposed to direct sunlight. Would be nice to see it go well.

Air also expands with heat, so for best results the sticker and material should be a bit warm if at all possible - of course applying without bubbles is most critical - then if there were any tiny bubbles you couldn't see, you won't need to worry as much about heat expanding them even bigger.Also should be obvious but thoroughly clean the surface before application- I just use water to remove a majority of crap, then rubbing alcohol.
