Rate my car.

2019 Toyota Avalon touring
Silver with black leather
Things I added:
Trd wheels
Aftermarket tail lights so I get a full light bar across the trunk (had to change them out bc stock ones were getting condensation in them)
Window visors
OEM mud guards (not in pic but look good)
Rear window lip spoiler (matches the window visors, very subtle)
K&N intake system, small HP boost, nothing huge, not loud, no codes thrown

03 Avalon owner here
I like it, loaded fullsize Japanese sedans aren't the same as German ones, but they have their own advantages (drive it as long as you please with minimal maintenance). Not very sporty but I love the Avalon for highway driving.
All I can say is I hope your aftermarket lights are high quality. Seen too many defective/moisture-filled housings. Pic?
>>
>>25043342
the tripfag has the audacity to laugh, lmao
>>
>>25043335
Nice daily, what else you got?
>>
>>25043607
Herpes. I'm also a girl (male) not sure if that makes a difference?
>>
>>25043593
>Japanese sedans aren't the same as German
Thank God for that or they'd be breaking down and costing thousands in maintenence and repairs at about the 7 year mark on
>>
>>25043335
0/10
youre probably baiting desu
>>
>>25043600
How dare you speak to me like that? I am an authority figure on this board, show some respect.
Us tripfreinds help guide the direction of this board in a way that simple little anons could never do.
Apologize.

Solid choice. I wish they made an avalon wagon, but instead I'm stuck with my rav4
>>
why get an avalon instead of an actual lexus
>>
>>25043593
>Japanese sedans aren't the same as German ones
No, but they cost the same when you factor in labor and parts.

The Avalon and Lexus ES are built in the same factory, use the same chassis, have similar I4/V6 and FWD/AWD options. So it is a question of whether you want to pay a little more for the same car with a prestigious badge, and maybe a little extra sound deadening.
>>
>>25043971
lexus holds value better and dealerships are generally a little more "prestigious" for whatever that's worth, so there's perks going in etc.
>>
Needs more stick-on plastic shit.
Some fender vents would really tie it all together.
>>
Vatozone/10
>>
>>25043971
>hur dur it's the same car as the ES but less expensive
You're wrong and this is poorfag cope
>>
>>25043971
interior will be vastly different and Lexus is more reliable than Toyota on average
>>
>>25043335
NPC car

>>25043335
God damn what a nice looking grandmamobile you've got there. You should slam and stance it.

I'll admit to caring how my family and friends perceive me, and strangers in some cases. They know I have a good job but I don't want to look like a dentist or accountant or tech-fag.
A Lexus is too flashy for me or my neighborhood, but a Toiletta is just a Toiletta. I get to drive a nice car but it looks like every other Camry or cuckbox out there.
Some people like the grey man ethos. Same reason I bought an XLT instead of a Platinum. I can afford the fancy-pants version, but prefer to attract less attention, because I'm not a manlet. Besides I'm a hillbilly as are most of my friends. I'd feel like [even more of] an asshole getting next year's firewood in a fucking Platinum.
>>
>>25044433
stick on shit on a platinum is tacky as fuck. i'd get a well spec'd xlt or lariat any day. why announce that you paid 10k extra for plastic-chrome bullshit.
>>
>>25044496
Status/ keeping up with the Jones.
"But, how do you measure yourself against other golfers?"
"By height"
>>
>>25043335

Now that the Avalon is discontinued, what should I get once it's time to replace mine?

It's only a few more Wish.com stickers away from becoming a Poojeet chariot.

It looks fine the way it is now. I wouldn't do anything else to it.
