Would you drove one if you had endless money?
>>
>>24868732
I dunno, maybe, I do like boats. And these get a big engine don't they?
>>
No it attracts too much attention.
>>
>100k depreciation off the lot
no
>>
>>24868732
Probably but I'd probably only get it out of the stable once in a while for the sheer fuck of it.
>>
>>24868732
I don't want the attention
>>
Not a new one, no. But anything from 1915-1970 is good to go.
>>
>>24868732
nigger car
there are a lot of luxury/expensive cars that are classier
if I really wanted a limo I'd get an s class or a8, which is a bit more inconspicuous
>>
You don't have to be rich to buy one.
>>
I’d be driven in one yes. Would drive something else.
>>
>>24868732
nope, ugly car
>>
>>24868732
Maybe some shit old one to LARP as a rich 70s sleazebag with a cigar and medallions.
Anybody who unironically travels by Rolls-Royce is an insufferable cunt.

>1950s Rolls
Honestly that would have looked super dated at the time. Looks like it's from the 30s.
>>
>>24868905
You would be driven in a two seater convertible? lmao
>>
Maybe, but only the wraith
Bentley is pretty compelling also
>>
Maybe if I had fuck you money. I'd get a Conti GT over any Roller though
>>24868896
A Phantom makes an S Class feel like an airport taxi

Oh, it was. Cast-iron I6 with weird floor shifter over on the right side near the running boards; and things wouldn't improve until 1966.

Car and Driver compared a Rolls-Royce, Cadillac, Imperial, Mercedes, Lincoln, and Jaguar in 1965; they referred to the Rolls-Royce as a more expensive 1939 Packard made in 1965.
>>
>>24868962
They were still that way in the 90s before the bmw era. Essentially a 60s car underneath that still drove like one.
>>
>>24868962
Damn Rolls was always a meme brand. Bentley was the shit until they went bankrupt and Rolls bought them to snuff out the competition.
>>
>>24868970
Ironically staying true to the customer base AND the company's legacy.

>>24868980
Yup. My '50 is still wood-bodied. That's a large part of what has slowed my restoration down.

Rolls even bought them out using an anonymous shell company because they wanted WO Bentley's secret recipes so badly and couldn't develop their own cars anymore. Then they fired WO and kept his beloved 8-litre company car.
>>
>>24868732
No, I don't want people coming up to me asking what I do, taking pictures of me, or wasting my time with bullshit sob stories about why they need from me at the gas station, and with how much gas these suck up, I will be spending a lot of time at the gas station
>>
>>24868732
Phantom sure, It has a get the fuck out of my way presence, Ghost, Wraith, and Cullinan, na they are for showy dickheads.
>>
>>24868980
imagine being bently and getting rolled on
>>
>>24868732
If I had endless money, I'd manual swap it and then drive it.
>>
>>24869030
Wraith is a RR owners who actually want to drive it
>>
I rather drive an over priced boomer kino car and sell it to young people a thousand bucks and repeat the process. Devaluing the entire classic car market causing boomer genocide via suicide.
>>
>>24868732
only if
1) I had a chauffeur
2) I lived in London/Tokyo
3) it wasn't actually my car/was a tax write-off
>>
>>24868988
>WO Bentley's secret recipes
My favorite part is the engines not having head gaskets. Single piece block and head. The con being everything had to be done from the bottom.
>>
I really think well of Rolls Royce vehicles, but it's too attention grabbing in all the worst ways. Not only would I have to worry about theft, but also vandalism due to envy.
>>
>>24868732
Yes. With endless money I would turn it into a street legal Baja car.
>>
>>24868732
With unlimited money, I'd live in Tokyo and have a company-owned, chauffeur-driven Toyota Century.
Unlimited money is for yachts and private jets, pleb.

>>

>one car in his garage
>>
>>24868732
Probably not, I think something like the S8 is nice enough and both are boats. Bentley and RR stand out too much.
>>
>>24868747
Are you in the mob or something
>>
Yes
>>
>>24868732
Endless money? Yeah, this would definitely be one of my thousands of cars then. It'd be nice for picnics and stuff.
>>
>>24870116
Don't want to deal with poor people crowding me when I'm going to buy toilet paper
>>
>>24870152
People don’t crowd over bentleys. If you had a Dodge Viper or an actual monster truck, that would be a spectacle and people would watch
>>
>>24870152
>doing your own shopping
>>
>>24868732
Nah. Sedans are useless vehicles, especially when they're 20' long. I would never want to drive one and If I'm being driven around I would want it to be something I can stand up and walk around in like a luxury conversion van or a motorcoach.
>>
>>24868955
In a Rolls Phantom anon
>>
>>24868732
Who even drives these? Hollywood hotshots, dumb athletes, and a handful of boomers in Florida who drive to and from the country club in their gated communities a few times a week?

I don't think normies really want to be in something like this. The richest guy I know, a bonafide billionaire, is chauffeured to and from the office in a black Escalade or Tahoe. I think his personal car when he's taking kids to sports practices and games is also a new Escalade.
>>
>>24872374
My multi-millionaire Jew CEO usually gets chauffeured in a 7-Series but I've seen him in a Wraith.
>>
>>24868732
I'd drive one just to experience it but probably not after
>>
>>24872374
most rich people are going to be in Mercedes/Audi/BMW stuff or Escalades as you said, because they don't want to be noticed. Most people wouldn't recognize an S class as being anything other than a Mercedes.
>>
>>24872374
>The richest guy I know, a bonafide billionaire, is chauffeured to and from the office in a black Escalade or Tahoe
People who are actually rich don't need to show off.

>endless money
Sure. At that point I'm buying things just for fun, so why not go crazy and get as much as I can, like the Sultan of Brunei? It'll find a nice home amongst the McLarens, Bentleys, and Ferraris that my garage will inevitably also include.
>>
>>24872405
I wouldn't go that far. a lot of rich people have car collections and drive expensive cars. but daily driving some new rolls royce? seems especially attention craving and obnoxious
>>
Probably not drive one.
Maybe be driven around in a phantom when I drink or something but I'd rather drive myself around for the most part and would choose like a Calvo Motorsports Viper or a McLaren P1 if in this hypothetical I have a ton of money.

If prefer an Aston Martin at that price point.
>>
I prefer a Mazda 2
>>
>>24869023
Smart. Only shitty thing is that if you live in enough of a poorfag area people will do the same for any car made within the last decade
>>
>>24868732
I'd buy a Ghost. It has all of theamenities of a Phantom without the colossal size. And I've seen Phantom VIII's. Those things are nice but way too damn big while the Ghost is in a more driver-friendly size.
>>
>>24868958
Holds its value better, too.
>>
>>24868957
Bentley interiors are the nicest on the planet. Too bad Bentleys have such vicious depreciation.
