Any car manufactured prior to fuel injection is objectively worse by every measure. Boomer barges are slow, dangerous, suck gas, handle like shit and are always overvalued by their demented owners.

Yeah that’s why I love them
>>

Because they are bad?

>Boomer barges are slow, dangerous
that's probably why owners of such vehicles drive more carefully. No airbags or crumple zones to save your ass, no traction control or ABS, you have to assume everyone else around you is drunk and/or retarded and plan accordingly. That car on the side street waiting for a gap? 10 bucks says it pulls out in front of you. Your lane ahead is empty and two other lanes full of waiting cars, with a gap in them up ahead? Guarantee some bonehead will just come flying out without even looking, better slow down.

I like the wheels on this one. I like to imagine it all black, with some chrome still on it (mostly just limited to number, door handle, window edges) and a nice black tint on all windows.

My nigger! I couldn't find any rust free examples in my area, so I had to settle for a 1953 Ranch Wagon instead.

I think it's neat how those wagons would eventually evolve into a compact pickup and then finally the Ranger.

Funny enough, I have one of those rotting away in my backyard. I got it before the wagon and wanted to find the Sedan Delivery to match names.

why did they stop making beautiful cars bros? And don't say aerodynamics because cars in the 60s 70s and 80s were boxy as shit and looked awful compared to postwar 40s and 50s cars

I've got a '51 myself that I've been trying to fix up for many years. I was gonna post a '51 F1, but a '52 F3 is close enough so I will post something else. I think Edsels are cool. They're different and I like that.

Old timers would say that about prewar and postwar cars. By war I mean WW1. Like say a 1911 Packard vs 30s, 40s Packards. Whole different world in quality with the prewar ones.

Someone is selling this 59 coronet that “runs drives and stops” for 3250 near me, but it’s on a 79 Cadillac frame. Worth it? I want a mid century mobile but I’m a young poorfag, idk if I’ll miss the window

> rust proofing
I'm assuming you're talking about undercoating.
If a car is already rusted and you're only just now rustproofing it then it's too late, in fact it will even accelerate the rust because it traps moisture. Just wash your car in the winter if they salt the roads.
