>>24606322Dude, the thing has 107 horsepower. It was slow even by 80s standards. I didn't say you'd want it to be a racecar, just enough power to be fun around town. I have one with a desmogged 305 and well tuned carb and it still kinda leaves you wishing you had about 30-50 more horsepower. It ran a 15.10 quarter and weighed at 3350 pounds which gives you a rough estimate of 192 crank horsepower. Something like 230-250 would be perfect for a car of this weight, especially with how floppy the chassis is- you'd need to spend gobs of money stiffening it to make it handle much more power than that anyway.
