fake window tins this car for me. i cant do fake anything.
>>24002476>didn’t get the brembo brakes, bbs wheels, or recaro seats as optionsHow’s it like to be poor op?
>>24002476the dom femboy of modern automobiles
>>24002532i bought it used :(
>>24002476Will be a 10/10 with a miata fang
>>24002537theres nothing wrong with buying used op, most people do
>>24002530but it looks like crap without it
>>24002537Find the nearest overpass and do a flip
>>24002476Track day bro?
>>24002547I'm hoping that by the time the remaining factory warranty is over that someone will have cracked the ECU and I can put a supercharger on this little turd.
>>24002563never done one before, but i plan on going with a buddy of mine who has a toyota 86 and knows what he is doing. He's been auto crossing for years and used to have a c5z06 and a c6 GS
>>24002476extremely based, would have been more based if you were a baller and got soul red with the performance pack but you still did good
>>24002572Neat. Hope you have fun, miatabro.
>>24002476Excellent taste sir. Gt is the patricians choice>>24002532Bbs wheels have no place on a Japanese car. There's no point buying the brembo package if you're getting different wheels anyways. And there's plenty of aftermarket caliper options. Also fuck Recaro seats. The oe leather ones are great
>>24002684I wonder what the NA daisy wheels look like on an ND
>>24002684Bbs wheels are great. They look amazing on the RF.
>>24002760Okay fine they aren't bad.. but if there's even a slight chance someone wants different wheels at some point there's no reason to get the bbs/brembo/recaro package. If they had just brembos as a package I'd have got those, but it's all 3 or nothing>>24002755Probably kinda goofy. And I don't know if those would clear even the stock nd caliper
>>24002476I love it
>>24002905I find the bbs wheels come in handy has a second set of road wheels. If you're going to autox or track the car get something else that's wider and stickier tires and get mps4 for the road. That's what I'm doing at least. The main reason I got the package was for the brembos though desu
>>24002684What? Bbs wheels have been a staple for oem option of Japanese classics for a long time. The FD rx7 to name one. KYS weeb
>>24002684>Also fuck Recaro seats. The oe leather ones are greatt. Bought base model nd and is undergoing a humongous cope
>>24002905Because the base model wheels won’t clear the brembo calipers
>>24003076Actually base model nd came with cloth seats. The rf only comes in club (leather) or gt (also leather). Recaro seats only became a thing for 2019 models in the US
>>24003100Nice cope, bet you wish you waited a year and got recaros AND 35 more horsepower
>>24002554Why not just real window? Or nothing?
>>24003134I'm not this anon>>24002684So relax, faggot. The recaros and extra hp would've been nice (I have an 18 club) But I'm doing fine without. For the future plans I have anyway it doesn't matter. You only feel the extra power when you're in the upper 6500-7300 rpm anyway. Wasn't this explained to you in previous threads you fucking knuckle dragger?
I bought this car a few months ago but I feel like I was bullied into buying it from this forum and r/cars. Kids on bikes stop to laugh at me. I have to drive with a hat on at all times. Everytime I am at a stop light next to a women, my cheeks get so rosy. I feel like a complete tard in this car. Why do you guys talk about it like it's the only car anyone should buy ever?
>>24003267If you're insecure then you made the wrong choice. Stop being a little bitch and drive the car. This is a good larp though
Ugliest Miata you could get
>>24002476Nice one ladOne year in last month.still feels as good as day 1
>>24003472So far i absolutely love it.
>>24003248So the rev range youd keep it in on the track, unless you suck? Yeah sure kid
>>24002476Looks cool. My eye is always drawn to this car and I'm definitely considering on buying one. It looks sophisticated in a sense but fun. Are you going to turbocharge it or leave it mostly stock?
>>24003628You sound stupid. It's time to get off the internet.
>>24002476>pigfat version of a car that's supposed to be light>entire silhouette ruined by that shitty metal roofsomeone nuke us-rael already
>>24003651why are you replying to yourself op
>>24003726>pig fatWeights 2400 lbs. Time to kys
>>24003651mine is a 2019 ND2 which has an updated 2.0 liter engine but the ECU hasn't been hacked yet, so right now there aren't any ways to do FI and give it a proper tune to compensate. I probably won't do anything to it performance wise until the warranty is over. But we'll see if i can wait the 21 months
>>24003083They will clear willwoods, though>>24003134Mine is a 2021, and no, I didn't want the recaros.. I wanted the leather seats and the headlights that turn when you turn. Brembos would have been nice but I'll just get willwoods and some volks and still have spent less money and have more comfy seats
>>24003726>this whole postyou're pretty retarded desu
>>24003791Wilwoods are probably worse than stock, they are budget calipers for poorfags who want to look like racers.
>>24003989That's simply incorrect but it's okay to be wrong sometimes. You realize the point of a big brake kit is larger rotors to delay brake fade, right? You can only stop as quickly as your tires let you
>>24004025until your tires are too badass for your shitty little calipers
>>24004025Good thing the 180hp 2300lb miata doesn’t have a problem with brake fade, especially being a rwd then huh? Enjoy having a front bias brake kit that dips your car down in the front coming into corners, newfag.
>>24004027I don't see how that could ever happen with 7 inch wide wheels lol. Maybe if you had some 10inch+ barrels>>24004049You honestly think any car is immune to brake fade? Does it just defy the laws of physics?
>>24004054Well some cars, such an a BNR34 have a notorious problem with brake fade, causing them to lose on the circuit to smaller lighter cars such as the fwd dc2 type r, with much less horsepower. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vu-Mq8N37UUAre you new to racing, hardparker?
>>24004069>old hopped up 4000lb family car is the exact same as a brand new 2400lb sports cari knew benchracers were retarded but not this much
>>24004108Oh an r34 skyline Gtr is a family car? Are you fucking retarded? Go back to /b/Cope harder.
>>24004118the skyline is a family car and the gtr is a hopped up version of it. are you retarded or just baiting?
Holy shit there's like 3 miata threads up already.
>>24004108>old hopped up 4000lb family car is the exact same as a brand new 2400lb sports carare you implying that the new 2400lb sports car should have better or worse brake fade than the family car? Idiot. Your wilwood kit is nigger tier, hence the $500 price tag.
B R O SI’m undecided between the softop and the RF, can you redpill me?
>>24003989>>24004146>willwoods are worse because.... uhhhhh.... they just are okay???
>>24004140Would you rather have veloster threads? Because that can be arranged
>>24003989There are some applications where they make sense, they're the only game in town for a lot of classics and oddball shitboxes. It's not just about the calipers and rotors either, a lot of guys go with Wilwood simply because pads, especially performance/race pads, for their stock brakes are unobtanium. Also bear in mind that they make complete aftermarket brake systems, including pedals, master cylinders, etc., which can be quite useful for full system conversions or if you're building a race car from scratch. The ND definitely isn't one of those applications though.
>>24004242Agreed with everything you said and I’d use them for many applications, not for an ND although
>>24003978Kek ok faggot
>>24004351>Miata is a true sports car unlike the r34 GTR
Just to quell the faggots arguing in this thread, my friend owns a ND1 with the wilwood kit and he says it was probably the best investment behind tires (stock Bilsteins are pretty gud) you can make for it
>>24004165At least I immediately know it's shit posting that way.
>>24003736NA and NB weigh 1000so yes, it is pig fat
>>24004580go to bed eurotard
>>24004450Who said that? I'd love to see your next larp post. Keep on.
>>24004580Lmao 1000...kg? We're discussing pounds you dingus. So the ND rf weights very close to what an NA or NB weigh ah my point is proven
>>24005190i always thought this image was interesting since the expression the mx-5's face makes is pretty different - the mouth shape obviously, but the cat's ear position really informs the "confused" look which isn't replicated on the design of the ND's mirrors or windshield shape or anything. I think "cat" is a pretty good motif for a lightweight roadster
>>24002476OP is that machine grey metallic or polymetal grey? I find it hard to tell between the two paint options when looking at them through internet pics but it's immediately obvious in person, with the PMG being significantly duller especially under direct sunlight. I also noticed that MGM is becoming much rarer to come by these days (new), with PMG being more widely available.Pic is mine, love the car. Pretty much got everything I wanted options-wise on this thing.
I’d like to buy this car but I don’t know if I should go with the soft top for the complete open air experience (also because it’s quicker to open/close) or the RF for the line and solid roof.It would be my first cabrio so I’m confused but to be honest the electric roof scares me because it would be expensive to repair in the event of damages/faults, also something tells me that the average mechanic at Mazda doesn’t even know where to put his hands in that thing, while the soft top can be fixed in no time at the dealership. How’s the open roof feel in the RF? Significant wind noise or turbulence? It’s like driving a coupe with retractable roof open?
>>24005307>with retractable roof open?*moonroof
>>24002476Nice supra is that the 2020?
>>24002476Legit question here, BRZ owners can answer this too. Why would you buy a car that looks fast but uses a 4 cylinder engine? Doesn't it feel like shit making payments on a car that looks fast but gets gapped by 20 year old shitboxes running on V6's?
>>24002476Neat, congrats Anon.
>>24005564Not every race is a drag race amerishart
>>24005564Tbh it's quicker than you think. Not fast, but quick. Mid 5s 0-60 isn't terrible for what it is.
>>24002476Gay and pathetic
>>24005574It unironically is when you're American and all your roads are just straight grids from one stop light to the next.
>>24005610that's called flyover country, sweaty
>>24005620Wouldn't flyover states have less grid driving since they're less developed?
>>24005631really depends more on geography rather than population.
>>24002566You'll be able to anon! The ND is pretty popular so I'm sure someone will relatively soon.
>>24005307Why is nobody fucking answering my question? Are you larping about owning the cars you’ve been posting here?I asked this question two fucking times
>>24005564>making paymentsFound the poorfag
>>24007059Lol just be yourself
>>24007059This question has been asked and answer like 20 times already. Either you keep posting it in different threads (most likely since you posted it 2x here) or you're not reading the posts. Get whatever you like. The RF has the same performance numbers as the soft top. You get the rf for looks as you still get the top down feeling. If you trust mazda reliability it isn't an issue
>>24002684weebs ruining Japanese cars for the rest of us, kill yourself phaggit
Looks like fun OP. Id love to have it as a little commuter. Hows it feel?
