I looked at Tacomas and they had less good options, more bing bing wahoo bullshit, were bigger and were all at least $5k+ more MSRP than the Frontier I ended up getting. And yeah the interior is pretty plasticky and cheap but it doesn't feel like a tin can. Also a very capable 4x4, I've had way more problems getting around on trails and snow in modern full size trucks than this thing. Plows through a foot of snow with shitty summer tires all day.
