hey /o/ I bought my first car wont tell you what it is because youll be dabbing on me but what are some cool accessories that you have found to be fun/useful/cool and are good for any car

I was thinking of getting one of pic related to store some equipment in the back (it has a velcro underside)
>>
>jumper cables
>flares
>high vis
>soap, paper towels
>water - for washing things or for emergency coolant
>carburetor cleaner (flammable shit)
>lighter
>a small toolkit with common tools - ratchet, extension, 10mm + other sizes for your car, vice grips, pliars, screw drivers
>quart or two of oil
>zip ties of various size
>a bluetooth OBD adapter
>an extra ignition coil, ignition amplifier, and cam/crank sensor (early subaru, critical components which could leave me stranded. the cam and crank sensor are identical)
>an apple phone to aux adapter thing i found in a lowes parking lot + cassette adapter
most of these have come in handy at some point for me and take up minimal space or weight.

Both great lists!
Ropes and/or tow straps, a hatchet or some sort of cutting device and maybe a blanket or thermal blanket if you live in a cold area

I have pic related in OP's post, it's great. I keep jumper cables, air compressor (pressure gauge too) microfiber towels when I go to the car wash occasionally to dry my car off completely, gloves, led flashlight, first aid kit, shit like that. You can store a ton of cool shit in there, but what I mentioned are a good start.

I just carry the basics, really.
In my old Escort I carry:
>$20 gas station gift card
>LED warning light
>folding warning triangle
>old thick milsurp blanket
>mechanics gloves
>cold weather mechanics gloves
>power bank
>quart brake fluid
>2 quarts engine oil
>2 quarts transmission fluid
>2 gallons coolant
>spare bulbs
>spare serpentine belt
>spare spark plug wires
>spare alternator
>spare starter
>spare instrument cluster
>two sets of jacks and jack tools
>two compact spares
>battery charger with extension cord
>a toolbox full of hand tools
with this simple list i saved myself twice from getting stranded with breakdowns. once the engine jumped time and I was able to replace the timing belt tensioner and retime the engine in a parking lot, and once i replaced the alternator at night when the original one failed.

so thats what white people do with their trunk space

A 1997 red (well.. every panel is a slightly different shade of red) Mazda 323F (or known as Mazda Lantis in non-European markets). It's got a small 1.5 litre na engine and it's got a bit over 100k miles. I paid £300.
>>
>>23618641
>ice scraper
>soft brush for snow
>a coat
>phone charger made for phone (my phone supports QC 3.0) so you can charge fast if you forget to do it at home.
>i always carry £50 with me at all times too (in wallet, not car).

i have a modern car though (and a very reliable one at that) so i don't really worry about parts failures, so i carry no spares or tools. Nor, am i carrying extra shit that you would with an older car like an aux cable/ cassette adapter.

hence i'm not carrying the car equivalent of tacticool gear like >>23618747
>>
>>23622262
>mazda

sounds crispy
>>
>jerry can
>armorall wipes
>tacklebox
>rod & reel
>cooler w/beer
>spare tire, tire iron & jack
>folding shovel
This is what I keep in my trunk and it's gotten me trough every type of situation you can imagine.

I think I've used my air compressor more times than anything else, usually airing up other peoples tires or dolly tires or you know whatever random thing needs air. I also have
>blanket
>old amazon boxes as organizers
>jumper cables
>jaco tire pressure gauge and deflator
>14mm ratcheting wrench
>zip ties
>gloves (mechanix and wool)
>ice scraper
>small first aid kit
>bunch of microfibers
>scissors
